How do non-magic villains react to the magic from the Villains who have natural magic powers?

Breaking my rules for this one because I have a couple of scenarios with villains outside the mansion.

-Clayton was a bit doubtful of this so-called "magic" when he first saw some of the villains perform it. He is from the times where illusionists, magicians and freak shows flourished so he was convinced it was all fraud... until Mim scared the living lights out of him but transforming into various animals and chasing him around in the woods.

-Cruella was one of the few who was not frightened, but rather amused by the display, especially of dark magic such as Maleficent or Grimhilde's. There had always been lots of supernatural rumors and superstitions around her family so she's not entirely unfamiliar with the mystical. On the contrary, she seemed very excited the first time she experienced real magic around her.

-Medusa, in the other hand, stopped believing in magic a long time ago so it was a bit of a shock to witness a shape-shifting beast chasing Clayton.

-Bill Sykes had been a non-believer all his life, so meeting actual magical users made him question a lot of things about life.

-Gaston had had enough after dealing with the living furniture and that damned beast. He freaked out when dealing with magic again and he still doesn’t feel too comfortable but he has grown more used to it with time.

-Frollo's reaction is a bit too obvious, C'mon. He was both scared and attempting to perform an exorcism on everything around him. He does learn to chill down a bit after a while of living around witches and sorcerers but he will run like hell to get a cross when something catches his attention once more.

-Rourke was done when he saw Clayton screaming bloody murder while getting chased down by a beast. The crystal transformation was bad enough by itself, he doesn’t want anything to do with magic ever again.

-Scar and Zira are not amused. The lion society they grew up was filled with supernatural aspects so while the displays of magic were amusing, it reminded them of the beliefs of their people and specially Rafiki.

-Shere Khan didn't want anything to do with that kind of shit and is still nervous of magic. Although he has already come to terms with dealing with humans and witches on a daily basis, he still keeps his guard high around magical displays. Humans are already bad on their own, he doesn't wanna deal with one that shoots fire or transforms at will.

Book 6 had me thinking-

ARE WE GOING TO SEE THE IGNIHYDE SENIOR STUDENT AFTER THE FIRST NRC ARC IS OVER?!,!,

Like omg omg. I’m so excited to see all the seniors (if we get to see them). I have no idea what some seniors could be based off of, just because TWST did such a good job of combining some roles (e.g Trey being both a card soldier and the ‘King of Hearts,), and some roles would be a little unnecessary (e.g an Iago for Jamil). After racking my brain some, I thought of some ideas for the seniors while keeping any sequel Disney movies out of the picture:

Heartslabyul: The Mad Hatter or the White Rabbit. TBH I feel like Cater was kinda robbed for not being a rabbit-themed beastman. I think his attachment to Magicam and following the trends could’ve been a good parallel to the White Rabbit’s obsession with time. But I can see the White Rabbit being a RSA student, so I hope we get to see him in the future. But the Mad Hatter would be SUCH a contrast to Riddle’s strictness. I could also see the Caterpillar being a fun character to have, but I think he’s a bit more obscure compared to the two potential seniors. (Plus Heartslabyul already has enough characters-)

Savanaclaw: Shere Khan and/or Kaa. Here me out: I could not figure out anything else for Savanaclaw without digging into the sequels haha (Zazu already got twisted in the Savanaclaw hometown event), but since Jack isn’t really based off the Lion King either, it only seems fair. Plus, there’s a canonical reference to the Jungle Book in TWST, with Vargas Camp and the “red flower,” aka fire. I think Shere Khan’s ferocity could be a fun contrast to Leona, while they both share a cunning attitude. Plus, I think the red flower could be cute reference to how Scar got burned alive in the Lion King haha

Octavinelle: That one little French guy who tried to cook Sebastian. Just kidding- but I am actually stumped for this one. Apparently, the shark that Ariel and Flounder swam away from is named “Glut” (probably for gluttony?), so perhaps the shark? I even thought about King Triton, because he did have an antagonistic role in Ariel’s POV.

Scarabia: The genie? Like I said earlier, the way Scarabia’s story played out didn’t make an Iago-character feel necessary, and Grim even got a few of the cracker-jokes. I thought it was really cute how Azul was briefly considered Jamil’s “genie in the lamp.” But the Genie from Aladdin did end up in the hands of Jafar, and did some bad things under his command. In the TWST world, I could definitely see the twisted Genie being a really powerful mage who went to do ambitious things for his senior year.

Pomefiore: I’m actually stumped for this one…I thought about the Magic Mirror, but we already have Mira Mira for Vil AND the Dark Mirror. Pomefiore has a pretty perfect balance of cast and inspirations, so I don’t know. The…King??? He didn’t appear in the Disney movie, but he is technically a Snow White character. There is the Queen’s raven, but uh… (*eyes Crowley and Levan*)

IGNIHYDE: PAIN AND PANIC AND MEG. AJXHSHAKXHSB. This post was originally just going to be about these guys, but y’know. BUT I’D LOVE TO SEE A TWISTED MEG. I love Ignihyde, but it was one of the few dorms that felt like something was sorely missing. Thinking about it, it would’ve been really cool if we got a sneak peek of TWST!Meg, who perhaps did his internship at STYX? I’d love to see the dynamic with Idia Axhxbahjzjz. I could really imagine TWST!Meg being that cool-headed, mature and charming senior, but perhaps STYX has dirt on him in some way, leading to him acting differently towards Idia? Like perhaps a relative or someone close to TWST!Meg Overblotted, and was taken away by STYX? I’m surprised Pain and Panic weren’t students in TWST, but if they were seniors, I wouldn’t be surprised if these two were “combined” into one character, like how the three hyenas were combined into Ruggie.

Diasomnia: Diablo- *eyes Crowley again*, or…the briars??? Diasomnia also did a good job of turning some really unique concepts (e.g Maleficent’s lightning for Sebek) into characters, so I wouldn’t be surprised if a briar-themed character was introduced. Silver and Sebek also represent Maleficent’s henchmen pretty well, so it would feel a little redundant to include them.

All in all, I’m REALLY excited to see the seniors one day, and I think I’ll end up being surprised by some of the character inspiration. I honestly don’t think they’ll have a major role in the story, just because TWST has found a good balance in side-stories and Gacha with the current amount we have. But I think it would be really fun fanservice, so I don’t mind if they end up like Neige or Rollo. But all I need IS A TWISTED MEG SHCHHSJZHZHXHJ

she and the royal servant both look out of place. this is something they have in common. but unlike the royal servant, udyati has carved out something akin to a home here, and so she does not flinch when shere khan growls and readies himself to lunge.

it appears that the old tiger doesn’t have to, for the royal servant scurries away again, as fast as his legs can carry him.

together, she and shere khan walk back inside of the pawn shop where it’s a little warmer, though not by much. together, they read the letter. together, they eye the invite as if it might jump up and attack them.

and to say that udyati is confused is an understatement. who is lord chamerlain? and who commands him? the king? and what is aektis? that sounds greek.

“their dresscode is winter wonderland but they have a greek word in there. and i associate greece with warmth. also, i know nothing about fashion, let alone high fashion. so i do think they invited the wrong person.”

shere khan snorts and mutters something about laying down for a cat nap.

“no, wait!” udyati protests. “it doesn’t make sense!” shere khan turns back to look at her and she continues: “this is the first time i’ve heard about the royal society for the prevention of cruelty to children in my life. how can i - or anyone - trust that all the proceeds will end up where it needs to be? it’s still a society and a royal one at that. i assume that most of those things are headed by old goras who either throw money at causes because it makes them feel good about themselves, not because they’re personally invested, or pocket that money.”

“can you get to the point, beti?”

“the point is: what is this society? who’s a part of this? how do we know where the money goes? what do they do to prevent cruelty to children? and if they really wanted to prevent that, why wouldn’t they do the work to get the kids out of here instead of throwing a celebration? i mean, that’s probably their way of rubbing elbows with the rich to get money but then we’re back at square one with the questions: where does that money go and what will they use it for? because i’m not entirely convinced this is done out of the goodness of someone’s heart. this is guilt. this is gora guilt.”

the old tiger vanishes into the backroom and udyati resolves to go find harriet. or uma. whoever crosses her path first. there are too many questions and she needs answers before she commits to something as huge as this.

Wild Jungle Plot 2

He explains that one of his monkeys spotted not only a man cub, but a tall man who could make fire with his hands, gesturing to Mowgli and then Axel. Louie explains that he’s in a bit of a rut, he’s been on top for so long but finds he’s still not satisfied. He wants to know man’s secret for making fire so that he too can be human. Axel says there’s no way he would ever tell him how his fire works. Louie gets mad as he commands his monkeys to catch Mowgli, which they do with ease before bringing him to the king. Louie explains that if they refuse to help than he’ll hurt the man cub. RAX all summon their keyblades as Louie and the captive Mowgli ascend to the top of the ruins. A battle ensues and afterwards RAX, Bagheera, and Baloo escape into the jungle. They then realize that Mowgli is missing. Baloo says that he thinks he saw a monkey taking Mowgli away from the ruins. They search the jungle and after a while they happen upon Mowgli in the clutches of Kaa the snake. They confront Kaa and demand that he let Mowgli go. Kaa says this is all a big misunderstanding and that he never meant to hurt the man cub. Kaa then somewhat uncoils himself to look at Xion, before saying that they can trust in him. His eyes begin to swirl with color, as do Xion’s. Kaa then tells Xion that the others are trying to hurt Mowgli, and asks if she’s gonna let that happen. Xion replies no, before raising her kingdom key to her friends. A battle with Xion plays out and after it’s finished Xion snaps out of Kaa’s control. Xion asks what happened as Roxas explains the situation. Hearing that she was forced to fight her friends, she begins to cry. She explains that after reuniting with her friends during the keyblade war, she promised herself she would never again be somebody's puppet. Roxas and Axel comfort her before they are cut off by Bagheera. Apparently during the commotion, Mowgli was able to escape further into the Jungle. At this point Shere Khan enters the scene. He muses about how the man cub is all alone in the jungle. With a wicked laugh he takes off into the jungle. RAX and the others quickly follow in pursuit. They soon find Mowgli face to face with the homicidal tiger. They rush in between them and brace for the battle. Suddenly Shere Khan begins to emanate a dark aura. The trio are confused but still face off against him. After Shere Khan is defeated, Mowgli finally reunites with Bagheera and Baloo. Mowgli admits that maybe the man village is what’s best for him. Roxas is confused and asks why Mowgli would give up the life he wants to go live with people he doesn’t know, even after Shere Khan was defeated. Mowgli says that while the Jungle will always be his home, it’s better for everyone if he goes to the village. With that Mowgli is brought back to his people. We then cut to some time after with RAX contemplating on the limb of a tree. Axel explains that nobody they knew was at the village, but at least Mowgli is safe and sound. Roxas seems deep in thought until Axel snaps him out of it, asking if he sees a bit of himself in Mowgli. Roxas nods, admitting that he relates to what he was going through. Though he also ponders about how Mowgli could just give up a life in the jungle he called home just like that. He remembers out loud that back when he was in the data Twilight Town, he fought as hard as he could to keep his happy life with his friends. He wonders if it was right to fight so hard , even if it was the best for everyone for him to return to Sora. Axel butts in, telling him that nobody should feel ashamed for fighting for their existence, and that anybody else would have done the same. Roxas nods as he hops down to the ground, saying they better keep going if they wanna finish their exam. The others agree as they portal to the next world. We cut to Radiant Garden as we see Aeleus and Dilan patrolling the castle. We then get a close up of Aeleus’s hand. His hand suddenly clenches into a fist as the scene fades to black

Also apophis of nothing but I have been listening to clips of The Jungle Book (1967) and. God why the fuck did they make Shere Khan like that. Everyone talks about Scar being hot, but Shere Khan was the original. He’s set up as such a huge threat, and then this tiger appears, and it’s just. Sooo good. The first scene of him is him stalking a deer, and he draws close, and then the elephants turn up. And then, instead of being funny and silly like the other threats have been (Kaa, King Louis), he’s sophisiticated and intimidating. He’s well spoken, and has such a serious, confident form.

The only other character we’ve seen act and be treated to even close to that is Bagheera, who we are trained early to see as respectable and important. Later, he has a confrontation with Kaa, and unlike the first time we meet Kaa, where he’s a major threat, this time Shere Khan completely shuts him down. Everyone is afraid of him, no is able to stand up to him. He’s so genuinely intimidating (especially as a child), and he commands so much presence in this damn kids movie.

He’s so fucking good.

#also I think there's probably something with him being the most stereotypically well spoken character in the whole thing #and also having a british accent if I'm not mistaken? #in a film where the main conflict revolves around the idea of wanting to remain wild and free vs becoming civilised #and ultimately the main character chooses civilisation because he falls in love with a manifestation of it #but it is like 3am and I'm tired and also am very much not informed enough to comment on that #I am just #shere khan voice hot

Days after feasting on Mowgli, Kaa would this time focus on the man-cub's girlfriend, or former-girlfriend depending how one saw things as of late, though after hypnotizing her and having her dress her down fully, the snake would command her to lie on her back after hiding them up a giant tree.

This time, he was going to swallow up his meal feet-first, not as a kink thing, just a simple case of trying to figure how he wished to eat humans, head-first or feet first, and this way did seem easier as overtime, his maw would have to widen to swallow up his meal, where it'd have to fully open the other way around, at least Shanti would get one last look at the world before it'd be darkness then nothing.

But Kaa knew of Shanti's reputation as a man-village whore and someone who enjoyed "beastly company", so once he had feasted on Shanti to join what remained of Mowgli, he would wisely slink far away from this part of the jungle to save his ass from whatever hell was to come raining down on him.

(Alternate ending for Shanti, maybe I'll have her mother and Messua (Mowgli's adoptive mom) be involved with some things eventually, since there's only so much to do with Mowgli & Shanti, but maybe I'll put focus to someone else entirely since there's only so much one can do with Jungle Book.)

Shanti was probably the most distressed in the village when she'd heard that Mowgli had gone missing. She had assumed that he'd simply left the village to live in the wild, perhaps with Baloo again. She didn't blame him after all that had happened, she'd been considering doing much the same. That is until she'd checked every where, with the wolves, Baloo and Bagheera, even King Luey didn't know where he was. It was as she'd came to fear that perhaps Shere Khan had gotten him, that he was food for that wretched tiger that she'd come to learn the truth. She'd been broken in a manner similar to Mowgli, though unfortunately for her she'd not been broken quite as far. As a result when Kaa put her under, she was still aware enough to struggle, to fight inside her mind, and she was aware the entire time. With colors swirling in her eyes she slowly gave in to him, stripping down piece by piece, until she'd fully lost all her clothes, dropping them to the forest floor. She then felt him coiling around her body, squeezing her body with his own, feeling like a scaly rope around her body. She shivered in fear and realization as she saw a small lump of his previous meal, a sense of realization coming over as she guessed what it was. Managing to break slightly from his control she muttered a single word. "M-Mowgli..." Kaa: "Yesss my dear, he wassss much like you an easssy meal, he knew it wasss all he wasss good for~. Hee hee hee." Shanti felt a tear fall from her eye as she was settled on a tree branch, nestled just right so he could take his time swallowing her feet first. Kaa: "In fact, that'ssss to be your fate too~. You are like him, only meant to be a good meal for me to enjoy, and sssate myssself for a few dayssss." Shanti felt his power coming over her again, a stupefied smile coming over her. Shanti: "Yesss... your food. Food for massster~." She wanted to scream, to run, but she knew the truth, she knew that he was right, that she was his food. And this truth was made manifest as he slowly engulfed her feet, the smooth tight walls of his throat slowly slipping over her, it felt like what she felt whenever she fingered herself. His throat was so nice, comforting, and pleasurable. She felt it squeezing over her legs, his tongue slipping over her tasting her the entire time. And with a slurp, it too was gone, Shanti the Jungle's whore, was nothing more than a bulge in his stomach. Unlike Mowgli though, he knew she'd be missed. And so reluctantly he started to leave with the massive weight in his belly, slowly making his way out of the jungle until he's sure that she'll have been forgotten.
