Hello dear, It's great to hear that there are people out there who care about us snakes. I think you'll find it tragically common that "creatures of the night" such as bats, black cats, spiders and the like, as well as I, are often cast as monstrously as possible to add to the "fear factor" of our existence. However I have to confess my species of snake my not be venomous I specifically am thanks to Voldemort's magic as he found that I would be able to defend myself better if I were able to poison someone and then just leave. I do not have eyelids however, although sometimes I wish I did. We, Voldemort and I that is, have talked about you a few times in passing recently. Welcome to the fold.

For that anon with the ball python

When I got sir boop noodle the pet store owners couldn’t get him to eat either and when I got him to eat I started off really small, like pinkies or fuzzies, then after he ate some meals on a normal schedule I moved on to proper sized mice like medium and large. Also, if the snake is in one of those super small enclosures housed with other ball pythons he won’t eat, you’ll have to separate him in a tub or bin. My snake was housed with two other snakes that ate fine and he didn’t eat at all until he was moved. Make sure the food is HOT and to the point of explosion and dry it with hair dryer or lightly dry it with paper towel.

Excellent. He is a very fine looking serpent, very well cared for. His pattern is striking.

I asked his feelings towards you. He was initially uncertain to your status. He had first thought you a predator, and then a very kindly tree. Once he determined you were a human, he decided you were...good company.

This is a high compliment - serpents take a while to warm up to people. He may very well feel some affection.
