First of all sweetie,

let's not rate ourselves on a scale about how pretty we are! It's really degrading and I feel like you deserve so much better than that. Living in a generation where filters are oversaturated, people using AI to edit their photos, and incels with porn addictions and have never felt the touch of a woman, will call the most beautiful girl "mid". It's so understandable why one's self esteem can feel low at times. You need to change the way you talk about yourself (especially me). Beauty always start from within - as redundant as that sounds. You can't feel pretty if you're not focusing on the reason why you feel this way. A pretty soul (and self concept!) makes a prettier face. Moving on, let's get into the actual tips of a glow up 💖

Let's address the elephant in the room 🐘: you're not ugly, just acting pitiful

Have you ever wondered why you have seen those people who are considered "unattractive" or "unconventionallly pretty" by others be in successful relationships or popular with their peers? It's because they have confidence. Have you ever been attracted to someone that may not necessarily fit the beauty standards or be considered a jaw dropping model, but you thought they were cute anyways because of their personality or charm? That's exactly what I mean. You can be a pretty face or have a nice body, but have terrible self esteem. Living in California my whole life I come across this everyday. There is plenty of beautiful people here, but there is also a lot of people with no sense of humor and no offense, but have no personalities. In other words, you can be attractive, but superficial and boring.

To feel beautiful or more like a "10" even on your worst day is mainly having a good self concept. You need to think with the mindset of "I am the baddest bitch even on my worse days and nobody can make me feel different about that, not even me." Our concept can be changed, reshaped, rebuilt, morphed, etc, into any way we want it to be. Our self concept and dominant thoughts are created by our previous past experiences and what people have told us what we are. For example, if you were bullied in your youth and somebody picked on you for your features. Why would you give a fuck about what a bully thinks??? A person who humiliated and traumatized someone at a weak point in their life does not matter. Their opinion, their actions, their thoughts - doesn't matter. You can change yourself anytime you want, we are animals, we are literally mean to be apart of this cycle called life and our habits, attitudes, opinions, etc, can change at any moment. We are meant to grow and adapt. You get to decide who you are, what you feel, and how you wish people to perceive you. Nobody else. So when you repeatedly say things to people like "I'm not beautiful", they're gonna get tired of it honestly and be like "Yk what damn bitch I guess you are ugly!" because it gets tiring to hear someone complain about the same thing even when they just reassured them (again, I'm guilty of this too). So when you depend on someone to make you feel good about yourself, that's just codependency. You are also giving them the power to manipulate you. Don't do that. Be free and be independent, love yourself. It's your self esteem and you cannot be dependent on anybody else to fill that void you have within yourself.

As Katt Williams said, "It's the esteem of your motherfucking self!"

Why it's not your fault you don't 'feel" pretty

Like I said above, you are most likely a product of your surroundings. Most people are not raised by their parents to have good self esteem or to teach them how to be confident or emotionally secure. There are many environmental factors to insecurity and that it is okay if you are never 100% feeling confident about yourself. People in the media construct this ego to seem "cool" and act conceited as a way to avoid being seen as weak to society. You can be confident and also have insecurities. Confidence is just about being secure with the essence of who you are and setting boundaries when necessary with other people when it comes to that. A confident person doesn't tolerate disrespect.

"Conceited" or confident?: how to avoid confusing the two

I think the most irritating thing to me that is normalized these days is narcissism and conceited people. People will literally act boastful and cocky then say "I'm just confident". Behaving like a narcissist or saying that you are one is not cute and never will be because it's literally a personality disorder, a mental health condition. Everytime I hear this it makes me want to roll my eyes so far back into my head. Try to avoid being this person with a "God complex" because there's a difference between a person who is being loud and fake with "confidence". A real confident person makes moves in silence and is genuine with themselves. If you have to brag or put another person down to feel like hot shit, then you're not a confident person, period.

Tips to enhance your beauty

As I said before anon you are already a 10 in my eyes, but I understand how it feels to not feel pretty at times and we all have our days when we are looking "rough". Here are some self care tips I do that helps me feel pretty and pampered physically ✨️

Get some beauty sleep! This is not just a saying. When your body has time to rest it gives you time to reset & have more energy for the next day. Getting plenty of sleep helps prevent dark circles & puffy eyes as well. If you struggle with falling asleep spray lavender pillow spray, drink tea, or play asmr/soothing sounds.

Skincare & hygiene, this is such a crucial step that everyone should practice in their daily lives. All of us have different skin textures and when we neglect our skin it causes a dry, oily, or bumpy surfaces. Now skin texture is totally normal but if you notice the days where you are not washing your face frequently enough, your skin either looks dull, dirty, or you experience more pimples / acne breakouts. Not to mention how dirty we feel when our body is projecting a certain odor. You don't need to have an extravagant routine, but at least try to have about 4 hygienic products (soap, deodorant, lotion, & body spray/prrfume) and 4 skincare products (facial cleanser (I recommend double cleansing!), serum, SPF/Sunscreen, & face lotion).

Mirror work, saying affirmations in the mirror has proven to be helpful for people's self esteem & feeling more confident with their physical appearance.

Change your wardrobe! Start dressing for your body type & how your ideal self would. It might feel uncomfortable at first but you will feel so much more beautiful! You could try finding videos on tiktok of people with your body type to help (for example, if you are plus sized, you could search your desired aesthetic & find people with the same shape as you).

Detox from social media 📱, learn when it is time to take a break from your phone & engage with the real world. Scrolling for hours on your phone can be really harmful especially if you're reading negative comments or watching videos that are self depreciating.

Follow people who uplift you, not tear you down. If you are following people who obviously are negative or affect your self esteem somehow, then you do not need to be supporting them.

Make appointments! Whether that is a doctor appointment or lash, nail, or hair appointments. Take care of your mind, health, and body. You could ask your doctor what vitamins you should take or also seek a counselor/therapist to find the root of your insecurities in a safe place. Also sometimes just getting my hair or nails done makes me feel more confident!

Learn to treat yourself. Buy yourself flowers or a gift you always wanted but never received. This could be anything, it doesn't necessarily mean to spend money. For example, cooking your favorite food, having a lazy day, etc. Remember that you deserve to be happy!

Lastly, beauty spells, glamour magick, and manifestation are popular methods for people who wish to enhance their physical appearance. I do all of these myself and I always feel so hot afterwards!

it is time that i finally make a big post about my original alien species, the Loreirrans! keep in mind that i have been world-building about them for about 5 years now, so i have so much information about them that i'll need to post in sections. This post will focus on the diverse appearances the Loreirrans take and a couple of the subspecies that exist.

She also has two circular besagews that are part of the harness of her plate armour and help to protect her armpits. Her armour is slightly battle-worn, but its vibrancy has surprisingly remained untouched for years. The colour of her plate armour is a reddish-black with a blue-green sheen. Underneath her armour, she wears a quilted green tunic, padded brown legs, white braies, and a wide belt of leather.

Whenever Hirmenogaldus isn’t donning her iconic armour, she’s wearing a full-length ball gown made from fine silk and a tight-fitted, paprika bodice. For both her noblewoman and armoured outfits, she occasionally dons a royal mantle of faded jade with white fur trim that has black leopard spots. Her blackberry silk gown appears to be voluminous due to an ample skirt underneath. Her silk gown covers half of her shoulders and flows down into a fancy, modest semi-sweetheart neckline with a bow of cosmic purple. Around her neck is a velvet choker of cosmic purple with a cardinal pink ruffled top. She has Juliet sleeves and the wrists have turned back cardinal pink cuffs, and the ball gown is decorated with rich golden embroidery. Underneath her gown is a linen chemise and hose that’s held with a garter just below her knee. For jewellery, she’s adorned with a gold and enamel brooch in the form of a dragon’s head, a dark golden pearl necklace, a gilt bronze sapphire ring on the right index finger, and a table cut ruby ring on the left middle finger. Hirmenogaldus wields a blood-letting dagger in a serpentine shape made from polished brass. Its most noticeable feature is that of three raised, eye-like markings right above the cross-guard in a vertical row. Like all holy knights trained under the Praying House of Älkechirnobus, she’s considered to be a psychic. Hirmenogaldus isn’t entirely familiar with her psychic abilities because she doesn’t heavily rely on them like the other holy knights before her. Without her knowing, she has precognition, but it’s in the form of cryptic dreams that vaguely predict future events. She can perceive and read the auras of other individuals, being able to clearly understand their emotions and moral alignment. She can also detect the emotions of those she mentally focuses on, but this can result in blood seeping out of her eyes, ears, and/or mouth (e.g. she’ll cry blood if she senses someone’s melancholy). As a result of dermo-optical perception, she can perceive unusual sensory stimuli such as colour and varying brightnesses through her own skin. She is fully capable of surviving without any water or food intake, and not having to worry about starvation and dehydration. Hirmenogaldus has telekinetic abilities, being able to move and manipulate matter at a distance without physical interaction. She can perfectly mimic the sounds of animalistic beasts as well as talk to them and understand their unique interactions. She’s able to tap into a feral mind, allowing her to perform extraordinary feats of strength and agility that’s beyond normal for her. She’s a master at taming animals by reading, understanding, and staying in tune to their body language. She’s also able to solve many of their behavioural problems and possess unique insight into their psychology. Lastly, Hirmenogaldus has enhanced strength and stamina, being able to engage in physically strenuous activity as well as lift and/or strike objects that are tens of thousands more than her body weight. Due to her draconic helmet being cursed, it seems to intensify her negative emotions and strengthen her psychic abilities. This is one of the reasons why she tries not to heavily rely on her abilities because she’s afraid that she’ll become an irredeemable monster.

It stays exactly as it is. This is a question I've answered before but it has been years so I'll comment upon it again—I've always felt lucky to have been turned with my hair the length that it is. I suspect it was growing out from the short style of men who supported the Protectorate (as my father did) toward the longer styles which were the fashion of the day. It has always served me well for that reason; it has always been short enough not to make me seem counter-cultural in times when men's long hair has been classified so, but also has never been too out of place in other times when longer hair has been the sign of educatedness.

It always throws me off whenever I read about Bellatrix having thin lips. I swear I'm not influenced by the movies lmao but thin lips just don't fit the vibe. I feel like Bellatrix should have full or medium lips.

I also don't think she actually has thin lips canonically. She is described as having a thin mouth, not thin lips. And Rowling isn't necessarily describing her features here but perhaps her expressions based on emotional states.

They have a very haughty, disdainful look that seems like she is sneering at everyone haha, and they also convey Bella's aggressive and calculating expressions perfectly. They fit Bella's overall aura much more than either thin lips or super full lips would. Thin lips can look too expressionless which wouldn't suit Bella.

Just a bit of rambling about England’s looks.

Personally, I’ve never seen him as ugly or even simply plain. Of course, he isn’t as traditionally handsome as some other personifications such as, for example, France; he doesn’t have those inhumanly perfect, chiselled facial features. Not to mention, he also always has a bit of a haggard look on him: faint (or not so faint) shadows under his eyes, hollow cheeks...

England's body isn’t what would be called traditionally attractive either. He’s on the short side of average, a skinny that borders on scrawny instead of delicate, all prominent bones and angles and pointy elbows and knees and yet, his hands are broad and rough. There is some lack of harmony if one starts focusing on every detail.

Even so, England does look handsome overall. He may not look like a Greek statue, but all his traits are combined in a way that makes them attractive. There’s an intensity to his eyes that the peculiar features of his face enhance, giving a glimpse of his fierce personality. His looks suit him -- and flatter him as well. England's brand of beauty is unique, and the overall effect isn't less striking than a more traditional one. Actually, some people even prefer that to more generic, 'traditionally handsome' features.

England is, of course, fully unaware of that.

An important part of nurturing a healthy spirit is feeding it a healthy "diet" that promotes personal growth, which means avoiding people who would feed you false or biased information.

2) Bullying is defined as forceful behavior that serves the purpose of dominating or intimidating people. The experience of repetitive bullying is a recognized form of psychological trauma because it damages your sense of dignity, making you believe your existence is insignificant. A bully's greatest success is when you learn to bully yourself with their words. INTJs tend to be intellectual creatures, so perhaps you should start by doing a careful examination and analysis of the concept of beauty, to counter the beliefs your bullies instilled in you. E.g. What is beauty and how is it defined? What is the true purpose of labeling things "beautiful" or "ugly"? Who gets to define what is beautiful, and why? What are your beliefs about beauty and where did they come from? Do you need to change your beliefs to be better aligned with the truth? How would changing your beliefs also change your attitude and behavior?

3) Changing your ideas about beauty can help you be more rational in your judgments about it. However, this doesn't erase your memories of the past. Memories plague us because of their painful emotional content. When the emotional trauma is too intense, it is advisable to work in a safe environment with a therapist to guide you.

You shouldn't want to get rid of your memories because those experiences are necessary for your personal identity and psychological growth. You can learn to look upon past experiences differently, from a bigger perspective. Big picture thinking should come naturally to Ni doms. By making better sense of what happened and putting those experiences in the right perspective, you can eventually come to weaken or neutralize the negative emotions.

Imagine that you were walking down the street and you saw someone yelling at a small child, calling them "ugly" and all sorts of vulgar names. The child is crying quietly but cannot get away. Would your first instinct be to join the bully in berating the child? Or would you feel a strong desire to protect the child from harm? If you have any humanity, you would not hesitate to conclude that treating the child this way is morally wrong and should be stopped as soon as possible. If you had the capacity to stop the bully and speak to the child, what would you say to them? How would you help them?

Now, imagine that the child is you. Do you believe that you deserved the bullying? Do you believe that your bully cared about you and was telling the truth about you, or were they just trying to destroy your dignity and dominate you for their own purposes?

To put traumatic childhood experiences in the right perspective, you have to be able to transcend the perspective of the innocent child and adopt the vantage point of a wiser adult. Instead of looking upon the situation through the eyes of the helpless victim you were then, you can now look upon it as someone with the power to help and stop the victimization. Look upon that child with empathy and compassion, and you may start to see how beautiful the child actually is and how much they deserve to be loved after what they've been through.

Being granted the strengths of Te-Fi, healthy TJs are generally fearless and formidable people. They don't fear making mistakes, because they are confident in their ability to recover and learn from them. They don't succumb to control, because they form their own beliefs and do what they want. Main protagonist of Catacombs of Whispering

POTENTIAL TRIGGER WARNING: I talk about how mental health issues and drugs affect the character. There are also a couple of brief mentions of alcoholism and coitus-related things.

Tighezorvanus Biruteslov-Ljudevoti Grostalphen is a 37-year-old happy-go-lucky and strong-willed father of two. Besides his PTSD and dyscalculia, he has dissociative identity disorder (DID) and his two identities consist of Velabhort Smekzurnova and Mulavozje Ralstenov. His DID often leaves him to be self-puzzled, out of touch with reality, separated from himself and his emotions, and depressed. He also has suicidal thoughts, noticeable memory gaps, times of confused wandering, and is stressed out by the subjective sense of having “not-him” experiences. He often has a positive outlook on the future and isn’t afraid about overcoming the hurdles that life throws at him. Due to his confidence, he puts a decent amount of trust on himself, his capabilities, and the near future. He’s got a great sense of humour and enjoys cheering people up with his jokes. He’s eager to have fun by embarrassing and playing harmless tricks on people. Tighezorvanus is fairly honest about his emotions and thoughts, but he can be quite blunt at times and ends up offending the people he’s conversing with. He’s quite friendly and energetic, which makes it easy and enjoyable for him to engage with others. As a father and a member of society, he sees it as his duty to encourage the goodness of people and help them through their misfortunes. He’s able to understand the struggles of others and tries to base his support on finding a resolution to those issues. Tighezorvanus tries his absolute best to make morally right decisions that he understands he’s fully accountable for. As per his nature, he’s not easily annoyed, worried or upset by a lot of things. He’s usually willing to give money and food as well as offer help to those in need. He also shows a palpable desire to keep those he deeply cares about safe from unexpected danger.

He’s sometimes frivolous and ends up behaving in an inappropriately light-hearted way in certain situations or not taking his responsibilities seriously. There are instances where Tighezorvanus can be quite gullible and naive. This means that he’s prone to being easily deceived by others without him realising it and doesn’t have the greatest judgement or information surrounding certain situations. He has a tendency to move or handle specific things in a careless and awkward way. This often results in him breaking items, knocking stuff over, hitting his toe on hard furniture or the corner of a door, and bumping into walls, other people or a doorframe. As a talkative individual, he finds enjoyment in conversing with others, even if it begins to genuinely annoy them. For example, he might gush about his favourite piece of media or how shitty his day was during a movie, which can understandably provoke someone’s annoyance. Sometimes he acts on a whim with little forethought, reflection or consideration of the consequences that surround his actions. Tighezorvanus is afraid of being abandoned, alone, and forgotten by those he's close with. As a result of his PTSD, he’s prone to angry outbursts and negative thoughts about himself. He’s also easily startled and has a tendency to feel emotionally numb.

Velabhort Smekzurnova is a 40-year-old serial killer and organ harvester with substance abuse issues and an insatiable bloodlust, being Tighezorvanus’ aggressive, cunning, perverted, and loud identity. He’s a lot more knowledgeable compared to Tighezorvanus, but uses that intelligence to achieve things he desires through deception. He has antisocial personality disorder, bipolar affective disorder (BPAD), and mild scopophobia (the fear of being watched). During his manic episodes, he’s abnormally upbeat and very talkative. He also has an exaggerated sense of well-being and self-confidence, and possesses poor decision-making skills. During major depressive episodes, he has inconsistent suicidal thoughts, feelings of inappropriate guilt, and the decreased ability to concentrate. Velabhort also feels empty, hopeless, and restless, and he’s uninterested in almost all of his activities. He has a strong sense of superiority and is extremely opinionated. Due to his antisocial and psychopathic nature, he’s unwilling to associate with people in a friendly way and enjoys inflicting harm on others. He’s not afraid to use physical force and dangerous weapons to hurt, injure, or kill people in order to quench his bloodlust and make him feel euphoria. As a nihilist, he rejects all known religious and moral principles, only believing that life has no meaningful purpose and every proposed value is baseless. Velabhort has no true loyalty to anyone and views that his purpose is nothing but an impulse to destroy and gain instant gratification. He shows no apparent sympathetic concern or compassion for the feelings of other people. He’s quite the boisterous paraphiliac who possesses a disturbing obsession with sex, but he sometimes tries to hide it.

Similar to Tighezorvanus, he also has a sense of humour, but it centres around making fun of ordinarily taboo subjects. He can be quite sarcastic, going out of his way to mock or insult people through irony. As a psychopath, he possesses an “empathetic switch” and usually prefers to ignore it. Velabhort primarily uses it for selfish means, but is capable of sincerely utilising his empathy to understand certain people. He tries to hide the fact that he’s addicted to ketamine, mephedrone, wine, rum, vodka, and rye whiskey. Ketamine makes him feel detached from reality, relaxed, and a sense of happiness, but it can also cause him to be easily agitated and depressed. It also alters his perception of time and space, and stop feeling physical pain. Mephedrone makes him feel chatty, very affectionate towards other people, confident, full of energy, and keen to dance. He’s also weirdly sensitive to touch and it arouses him, noticeably on edge, dizzy, and feverishly hot. Velabhort is quite familiar with Tighezorvanus and Mulavozje, but tries to ignore them because he’s in denial that they all share the same body.

Mulavozje Ralstenov is a 46-year-old moral philosopher and former psychology and biology professor with a love of books, being Tighezorvanus’ skittish, cautious, melancholic, and quiet identity. Like Velabhort, he too is quite intelligent, but he uses it for what he deems as righteous such as helping those in need. He has seasonal depression, generalised anxiety disorder, and mild claustrophobia (the fear of confined spaces) and hemophobia (the fear of blood). Due to his anxiety, he’s usually plagued with an uneasiness of the mind and a brooding fear of some possible misfortune. He overthinks the worst possible outcomes of his situations and his mind often “goes blank”, making concentration difficult. He doesn’t fully trust the goodness of humanity, only believing that people are self-centred and interested in their own capabilities. When each season has begun, Mulavozje feels as though everything is hopeless and his self-esteem is almost absent. He feels worthless and possibly uninterested in a good majority of his normal activities.

He’s a taciturn individual, mostly spending his time in places that are free from disturbances and indulging in his hobbies. He usually prefers to keep his various thoughts and ideas to himself, only speaking of them when he views it as necessary. He’s a surprisingly good listener, being able to concentrate on what others say and engage with their ideas in a thoughtful, comprehensive way. He’s prudently watchful and unwilling to take risks in order to avoid problems. He possesses a strict sense of morality, ensuring that his ego is under control and he’s following the path of righteousness. Mulavozje has a tendency to weigh up the well-being of other people in his decision-making, which helps to minimise any negative consequences. However, there are instances where he isn’t fully concerned with the consequences of his actions, which can lead to atrocious outcomes. Mulavozje is quite familiar with Velabhort, but is unaware about the existence of Tighezorvanus.

Tighezorvanus is of impressive stature than most men he’s met throughout his life, clocking in at about 6 ft (182.88 cm). He has a mesomorphic, trapezoidal body with a fairly muscular and strong build, broad shoulders, and rose beige skin. When his eyes aren’t covered by orange-tinted glasses, they’re a luscious amber with a strong yellowish and coppery tint. He has medium length surfer hair with sideburns and a soul patch goatee that’s the hue of golden copper brown. He also has acuminate abdominal hair and pecto-sternal hair that’s also a shade of golden copper brown. He has a mole on the left side of his neck, on his right cheek, and on the left side corner of his lip. Tighezorvanus has five scars located on different parts of his body. The first scar he ever received was the result of surgically removing his right kidney. The second scar is a diagonal slash that reaches from the right trapezius to the top of the left pectoralis major. He has a stab wound on the left deltoid and a long scar on the right outer thigh. Lastly, he has a very noticeable burn scar that’s covering his left forearm and hand. He has two tattoos: a watery Eastern dragon on his back; and a raven skull is engulfed in blue flames on his right upper arm. As a 49-year-old, his golden copper brown has shown signs of greying and wrinkles appear on the forehead and eyes. He has crow’s feet and his frown lines have gotten deeper and more accentuated, which indicate wrinkling.

Tighezorvanus is often seen wearing a pair of army green cargo pants that reach to his knees in spring and summer. During autumn and winter, he prefers to wear standard overalls made from navy blue denim or grey sweatpants. He dons an unbuttoned, moonstone Aloha shirt with a floral pattern of sunray and mystic maroon hibiscus flowers. Underneath his favourite Aloha shirt, he either is wearing a solid black or bone white T-shirt. There are instances where he’s wearing a China ivory Aloha shirt that has bright sun and cardinal pink hibiscus flowers. Underneath his second favourite Aloha shirt is a Persian rose T-shirt with a yellow sea, blaze orange, and electric violet sun, and cyan mountains. Depending on the season and where he’s attending, his footwear consists of hiking sandals with or without white ankle socks and traditional low-cut tangerine sneakers. He wears a hololith bracelet that’s carved from jadeite dyed a light bluish green. Hanging around his neck is a special heirloom given to him by his father, which is a silver pendant necklace with a Celtic cross. He often dons a pair of orange-tinted sunglasses, but there are instances where he wears reading glasses. He’s usually seen wearing a fanny pack that holds his reading glasses, his phone, an epinephrine autoinjector, and a lucky rabbit’s foot. Velabhort is primarily seen wearing a buccaneer red trench coat that reaches to the middle of his calves. He also wears stiletto red fingerless gloves, weathered denim jeans, a dusty grey T-shirt, and a pair of black combat boots. Like Tighezorvanus, he often dons a pair of orange-tinted sunglasses, but he never wears reading glasses and carries around an epinephrine autoinjector. He secretly carries around brass knuckles, a butterfly knife, and a pump action rifle that he bought from the black market. He also wields a gold-plated pistol with a built-in suppressor that’s similar to the Beretta 92 called the 19th Blistering Dream. Mulavozje prefers to wear a shadow green turtleneck sweater and a pair of brown loafers. He also dons eerie black 5-pocket jeans and prefers to wear a pair of reading glasses and carry around an epinephrine autoinjector. He is commonly seen carrying books, his sketchbook with various art supplies, and a pack of cigarettes. All three of them have smoky topaz stud earrings, a gold watch on the right wrist, and three expensive rings. They have an amethyst solitaire ring on the right index finger, a band ring on the right ring finger, and a spinel cocktail ring on the left index finger.

After the sudden disembowelment of his mother, his partially dormant psychic abilities kicked in. Despite possessing psychic abilities, he has some trouble controlling his powers. He has psychokinesis, allowing him to utilise his mental effort in order to manipulate various forms of energy and matter. He possesses enhanced strength and is capable of lifting cars, trucks, buses, moderate to large sized rocks, trains, and massive trees. However, when he uses his enhanced strength and psychokinesis after a few hours, he feels quite exhausted due to the significant strenuous activity. Due to his psychometry, Tighezorvanus is able to obtain specific pieces of information about the past of a person or object by making physical contact. When dreaming, he can enter this bleak corridor filled with multiple coloured doors and it goes on for what feels like an eternity. Within this corridor, he is able to telepathically communicate with other people or supernatural beings. He is also capable of effortlessly traversing through his dreams and gaining insight into future events. His dermo-optical perception allows him to perceive colours and differences in brightness through his own skin. Velabhort is only capable of utilising psychokinesis, enhanced strength, and psychometry, but can’t perceive colours and varying brightnesses. Mulavozje can also utilise psychokinesis and psychometry, but possesses dermo-optical perception and can’t use enhanced strength. Velabhort and Mulavozje are both unable to access the dream corridor, meaning they can’t utilise dream telepathy and precognition.

I went on the “Am I Ugly?” subreddit earlier today and honestly? I was stunned at the people posting pictures on there! They would say they had been called ugly before, or list insecurities about their nose/mouth/etc, but every single one of those people was either drop dead gorgeous or super cute! There was no other option, I was honestly baffled they were even asking about that.

As a person who constantly worries about my own looks and whether or not I’m perceived as ugly, it kinda hit hard to look at all of these other people and realize that, although they might not be conventionally attractive, they’re not ugly. It made me realize that no human is ugly. Just because society doesn’t accept your looks as “attractive” does not mean you are ugly, it just means that modern culture doesn’t find your particular look appealing. Which is wrong, because why should society set the standard for how attractive somebody is? Just because they have a big nose, or body, or small eyes, or large ears, doesn’t make them ugly. Everyone has something beautiful about them! Yes, everyone! Even the “unattractive” features aren’t bad. They’re just not conventional, like society wants them to be, so people who have them are labeled as ugly.

But really, nobody is ugly. There is truly no one you can look at without finding at least one good thing about them. And you try hard enough, you’ll realize it’s not difficult to find many good physical qualities in people. Because we’re all people, we are all the same, and no one should ever be called ugly.
