Anywho here’s the long awaited Vaggie redesign! I made her outfit similar yo Charlie’s and added gold on her to elude to get angelic identity! She’s also more purple!! I’m so sorry but I can’t stand seeing her in red, it’s just not fitting, her final battle outfit was cool makes me wish she was in that all the time with her hair tied up.

I gave her tufts of fur to bring out her moth look and also because in one of her past designs she had these bright pink fluffy leg warmers so I thought that was cool, I also gave her gold cracks in her skin and made her X’s resemble crosses in her hair.

I wanted to make her look more demonic bit still keep her bright and soft enough to give of that lingering angelic look!

Vivziepop fans claiming adding black features to her black characters would’ve made it “too difficult” to animate them is a hilarious excuse considering this is the same woman who had characters like these animated:

Another excuse fans have been using is that Vivziepop’s art style is “unsuitable” for black characters, despite her crew members proving otherwise: 

No art style is "unsuitable" for black characters because it's the artist's responsibility to learn how to draw them in their style. There's no excuse for black characters not looking black in your style.

Vivziepop could draw black features in her style but CHOSE not to, hence why none of the black characters look black outside their skin color, which sometimes they don't even have.

You ever just know someone is so horrid and manipulative and assume you can't dislike them further, but then you do, and you're just angered and annoyed that someone this repugnant thinks their hot shit for being a controlling spoiled little brat? Yeah, that's me rn.

The people who volunteered to work on the pilot, who gave it their all and genuinely loved the characters, the cast, the Fandom, and the creator all at one point...treated in such a way. One member, seemingly threatened by Viv, could not participate or take any sort of part in this love letter, or else his job as Striker will be on the line is some of the most manipulative and controlling things Viv has consistently done. But fans will sit here and act like this is normal. It's not normal. Why would his job be on the line for participating in a lovely goodbye? Nothing about this is normal, nor should it be normal. Nothing about any of this is good. It's extremely divisive and horrid.

And her seemingly seemingly cutting ties, ignoring, or not inviting the cast that helped bring the pilot to life to see the opening for the show they've waited so long to become a full on show, and who have helped promote it for years...

The very thought of even REPLACING EVERYONE wouldn't be on my mind (ofc unless there comes complications or a problematic situation or revelation occurs)

Not after all the beautiful work and passion they put into everything.

I couldn't imagine doing this to any group of friends who have been so kind, loyal, and loving towards me and my works. I couldn't imagine not inviting those who helped me get this far to the premiere of the show they helped build along with me. I can't imagine dumping them all after years of commitment to MY ideas nor can I imagine failing to promote and uplift their works after they have done so with mine.

This is low. This is very low. Idc what excuse you throw. This behavior on Vivziepop's part is ludicrous.

Just wanna take a moment to talk about how much I adore Vaggie's verse in "Whatever It Takes", especially this line.

Because it makes so much sense after finding out Vaggie's backstory. Unlike the other residents in the Hotel, Vaggie wasn't someone that needed Charlie to be redeemed. Vaggie had always been a good person. She was a real angel who put down her weapon and refused to kill a child, even if it were a demon.

Lute saw Vaggie's mercy as a weakness and flaw that made her undeserving of her halo. Vaggie didn't need someone who saw and believed in the good in her. The problem is that she was seen as sinful just because she extended her kindness towards someone supposedly damned for eternal punishment.

Meeting Charlie made her realize that she wasn't alone. Vaggie is an outcasted angel for showing mercy to a demon, while Charlie is a ridiculed demon for believing in redemption for damned sinners. Charlie understood how it felt to be punished for her kindness, but still persevered with who she is, and so Vaggie does too.

One of the things I love about their relationship is that Charlie didn't "fix" Vaggie. She saved her, yes, but Vaggie had always had that good in her that she acted upon despite the consequences even before meeting Charlie. Such a pure soul like Charlie deserves someone whose kindness isn't dependent on their romantic relationship. It's why Vaggie saying that she believes in Charlie's dream aren't just empty words for the sake for supporting a loved one. Vaggie may be more realistic about it, but she definitely means what she says. She has saved a demon before, heaven's orders be damned. So she'll help Charlie save many more.

Vaggie isn't just helping Charlie with hotel just because she's being a good girlfriend. Well, she is duh but also they both just genuinely care about people even Heaven abandoned. That's why she and Charlie are partners.

I Keep Thinking Back To This

Instead of immediately going to make Vaggie Charlie's girlfriend she stayed a friend and she ended up getting with Emily. Seriously, at this point Charlie has more chemistry with other characters than her goddamn love interest. You know it's funny the fact that people have issues when it's a male x female canon relationship that has no chemistry they call it a result forced so-called heterosexism but ignore it when it comes to canon LGBT couples. The problem isn't hetereosexuality, but the fact people forget to put chemistry in a relationship and assume it will wow an audience.

Seriously, people were saying that it was heteronormality the reason why people shipped Charlastor over Chaggie, but then Emily happened and it showed no it ain't being homophobic but the fact that the canon relationship has no chemistry written. You don't feel like their relationship is alive compared to how she interacts with Alastor and Emily. And I don't care how much the narrative tries to push the Alastor tries to be her daddy, because that just makes even more shippers.

I kind of now wish that kept Vaggie and Charlie as friends then introduce Emily in the first episodes as an ambassador from heaven who is at first infatuated with Charlie and wants to see her mission succeed. Like again she learns more about what is going on in hell and believes in Charlie's mission to make it better. Seriously, I don't know when Emily was created but this was a missed opportunity.

Working on a redesign of Velvette! I like how she acts in the show but I can’t stand her ashy grey skin, so I’m trying to do her some justice! I will also be cooking up some redesigns of the seraphim sisters.

I wanted to make her feel like she takes after both Valentino and vox.

I gave her white smudged make up on the form of a mask because it not only looks cool but I was trying to make her feel like a clown or doll? That’s what her past look resembled I’m not quite sure what she’s based off of or what kind of demon she is, I’d like to think she was a past model/ fashion designer who was very cut throat, bossy and very competitive, she seems very sure of herself, ambitious and opportunistic.

Maybe that lead her to some how falling of her high horse in fashion by a rival? Which resulted in her being called a hack or clown in which she retaliates by snapping on them killing her rival, career and self all in the same day.
