For @bilibiche Here's a little early advent present.
It's been steadily snowing here for the past two days and since you seemed to need a little winter cheer, I made this for you while I was on a lovely walk yesterday.
I kept it music free so you can enjoy the sound of the snow under my shoes ❄️
I've brought this up before, but there's no way any of the original fairytales would be ok with their descendants repeating their stories. For example, think of the original Snow White's perspective:
Your mother dies giving birth to you. Your stepmother is insecure about her own beauty, so she takes it out on you through numerous attempts to end your life. Thankfully, 7 dwarves and a prince save you, finally freeing you from your stepmother. When you marry the prince and have your own child, you decide to do better than both of your late mothers. You don't want your child to go through what you went through.
Then, for some reason, you die when your child is young, just like your own mother did to you. Your husband remarries a selfish woman, and your child gains their own cruel stepmother. In horror, you watch your child relive your life. Your child faces death, just as you did. Your child is saved by kind people, just as you did. Your child marries their savior and has a child, just as you did.
Your child dies, just as you did.
And then you watch the cycle repeat over and over again, generations across generations in your family. Hundreds of years down the line, your descendants are convinced the cycle is a must. A noble yet hard duty. They believe they must live your life to be happy. That they must suffer to earn their happiness.
This is not what you wanted.
Apply this to any other original fairytale, but the same principles apply. They would not approve of Ever After High or the destiny system.
[Image ID: Far left, first GIF. A pink snow-clay slime inside a small container with a strawberry cow on the label. The label reads “strawberry cake roll” and the slime has tiny cow and strawberry fimo slices. One hand holds the container still while the other pulls and stretches the slime up before poking it back down. Middle, second GIF. The slime has been removed from the container. The pink, soft part of the slime is swirled on top of a yellow, crunchy base. Two hands squish them both down and together before stretching it to the sides. Far right, third GIF. The two parts of the slime are halfway mixed together. Two hands poke the slime on both sides, pushing it over onto itself and folding it in a couple times. End ID.]
(I'm bored and want to do some interactions so I found you, have this for Snow Leopard.)
A weird looking cream wolf appears in front of Snow Leopard that looks like Crunchy Chip, with fur being the same colors as his dough and hair, along with the same clothes, except for the battle claw thingy. Also it's paws look like hands for some reason. What you doin?
— @askcrumbsandcreatures (I'm desperate for interaction at this point lol)
In this scenario, it would hinge on if this Cream wolf smells like crunchy chip or any of the other cream wolves in the same unit.
She'd go on the defensive if it didn't smell like anything familiar!
But if it IS Crunchy Chip, the poor girl will be confused (*Л*)
