so we all know about “who the hell is jordie?” “someone i trusted. someone i couldn’t afford to lose”, right, but what we forget is the significance of kaz calling jesper ‘jordie’. it’s not just that jesper is a brother to him- jordie was kaz’s protector. jordie was the 13 year old that protected kaz and who kaz protected, the goofy one who made him smile and bought him hot chocolate at night. he felt safe around him. he trusted jordie with his life. in calling jesper ‘jordie’, kaz shows that subconsciously, he trusts jesper to protect him, that he could turn to him should he need it. and every time he yells at jesper, the gambler who couldn’t stay out of the red, for losing another bet, getting in debt again, all he can see is that same thirteen-year-old boy, swindled out of everything he owned and left for dead on the street. with every word he yells at jesper, he silently urges him to stay alive. with every bet jesper makes, all kaz can think is “i can’t lose a brother. not again.”

just a goofy little headcanon that makes me cry everyday. (it turned into a couple i’m a mess)

but i like to think john dory thought he was the only one who left. like when bruce and clay quit jd was so overwhelmed with frustration and shame that he ran and figured him leaving would give the bros something to bond over and stick it out as family.

when he hears floyd on the radio, he starts to question his assumption. (AND HES ALSO SO PROUD)

curious about the rest of his bros, he returns to the troll tree to find it abandoned and dilapidated and he assumes the worst…

when he gets bruce’s letter he’s overjoyed, but… can’t bring himself to go visit alone… especially if he has the share the bad news about branch and clay…. (on top of their argument being the catalyst of the band disolving so there’s guilt and shame festering)

of course floyd being in danger forces his hand, but he wants to scope things out before overwhelming bruce with just the worst news. he’s lucky to hear about the rock apocalypse either on his way to attempt to rescue floyd alone, or after - since world tour happened 2 weeks before band together based on tiny diamond’s age. and floyd’s implied to have been trapped for 2 months??? :[

maaaaan john dory still doesn’t even know where pop village is so he’s lucky AGAIN for the wedding bringing everyone together by the old troll tree.

he’s so chill, like even when branch is going on about not having a brother he’s standing there smiling. he’s so happy to see him AUGH. the only thing that bothered JD was branch assuming he never came back…. he’s so happy to see everyone… when he’s not putting pressure on his bros he’s so chill and vibing.

he has a lot to apologize for, for sure!!! but, he never quite moved on our got his closure

(RANDOM TANGENT but when bruce and clay were voicing their frustrations with him and they were being a bit harsh considering the circumstances and john dory was visibly upset and had to breathe to calm down. and THEN THAT’S when he tried to play everything off and hurt branch with his comment about not sticking around together. he was so hurt himself to both be put in the same position as overbearing leader.. but also realizing he Was being ‘same old John Dory’ and did need to grow. of course he wanted to stay together after rescuing floyd. but he’s the king of running away rather than communicating emotionally…..)

what i wouldn’t give for a winx club/w.i.t.c.h. crossover like IMAGINE

- an alternate season 4 where the winx go to earth not to make people believe in magic/track down roxy but because faragonda is getting readings of strange spikes of magical activity in a small city on earth called heatherfield and wants the girls to see what could possibly be causing magic surges on a magicless planet

- maybe during book of the elements arc? since the literal elements were going nuts that’ll fr cause an energy spike, plus the kandrakar portal getting used daily

- they end up undercover as new students in sheffield institute looking for the magic signature of the heart of kandrakar

- bump into w.i.t.c.h. and they have that “i’m just like you, you’re just like me” moment

- at this moment w.i.t.c.h. are way in over their heads w the elements and dark mother so even if the winx completed their mission of finding out what was up in heatherfield they decide to stay

- IMAGINE THE BONDING

- the winx could help w.i.t.c.h. with their newfound increase in power, since they all struggled controlling their new stronger powers when they got their enchantix

- everyone gets flying lessons.

irma would complain that their outfits aren’t as cool and sparkly as the winx and they only get one,,,, and then during the new powers arc she’s like “i stand corrected! new outfit!”

- bloom teaching taranee how to bond with her fire and accept the duality/entirety of such a destructive power

- cornelia watching flora and thinking that the earth doesn’t just have to be stubborn, solid, and firm, it can be gentle too

- will introducing tecna to all her talking household appliances!!

- musa bonding with matt over his band (there’s a musa/cobalt blue collab at the end of the season)

Eddie

Was in complete shock when he found out Chrissy was pregnant

Like yeah they had been trying but still. They were going to have a little monster to take care of soon 

Screams when Chrissy was screaming during labor. He did this for both kids. She couldn’t help but laugh a bit while she did this. His antics helped make a very stressful time bearable 

He is sobbing as soon as he holds the baby. He is just amazed that him and Chrissy made something so perfect

Eddie has no problem getting up late at night to change diapers or deal with the child if they are crying. Sure it isn’t his favourite thing but you gotta do what you gotta do

To help the kids get to sleep he will play softer covers of his favourite metal songs on his guitar. Sometimes he even sings to them 

Chrissy likes to joke that he is forming them to become mini metal heads. 

Eddie doesn’t disagree

When he reads stories for the kids he always does the voices of characters. He loves reading them stories with multiple characters so he can put on a whole little show for them.

Sometimes he gets too into it and ends up keeping the kids up longer than he should

When the kids are old enough Eddie likes to teach the kids how to play the guitar

Eddie painted little bunches of bats in each of the kids rooms 

Chrissy

Chrissy always wanted to have kids but didn’t want to be a housewife or be forced to be a housewife 

Even though she knows Eddie would never force her to be a stay at home mom she is still a little scared to tell him she is pregnant just due to that fear

She is relieved when he asks her how she wants to do this and lets her choose if she wants to be a stay at home mom or not

it’s small but letting her choose these little things along with how much or how little she wants to do while she is pregnant makes her fall in love with him more

Ex: Eddie ends up cooking dinner more, doing the groceries more, and ends up becoming a lot more of a house husband when he can for Chrissy

Chrissy appreciates ever part of this

Chrissy loves to dance around with the baby in her arms as Eddie plays music

It makes the baby giggle and she loves that 

Chrissy is scared that sometimes she isn’t a good mom just due to her own controlling mother 

Eddie helps her through this 

He says that if you love them enough it’s hard to fuck them up 

Whenever she has a talk like this with eddie it makes her feel a bit better

Because she loves her babies and loves them no matter what

Chrissy loves to back and cook with her kiddos

She gets them a little kids cook book

BONUS

Eddie and Chrissy do silly little family photo shoots with their kids. Not in like a professional studio or anything, they just get a friend, usually steve, to take photos of them

While being escorted by Chrissy, Steve, and Robin the kids are allowed to go to their dad’s metal shows. Eddie always has the biggest smile on his face when he sees his kids and Chrissy and has pulled them up on stage more than once
