Ugh, periods are the worst! And this is definitely not silly, dw! Before I took iron supplements during my period, I'd always faint on the first day 😭 I hope you're feeling better already, lots of love 💕

Furuya is very big on taking care of you - even more so if you're on your period. The first time, as he didn't know how well your body dealt with that time of the month yet, he had prepared a relaxing day for you, having brought some healthy but delicious snacks to help your body through it all. He was glad he did that, as your state was worse than he had expected - but at least he was prepared. Nowadays, he makes sure to take off as much time as he can on at least the first day to help you out. He likes having you lay on his lap - all cuddled up in blankets and heating pads pressing against your aching body. Also enjoys taking care of domestic stuff: he likes to help you wash, do your skin/hair routine etc. for you. Has also read into what foods your body may need/what foods help against your symptoms.

Akai was fully unprepared the first time, or rather, he didn't really think about it. But he's quick-witted and he gives the best massages. He carries you everywhere (remember, as a sniper he's very strong), but unlike Furuya who is worried the entire time, Shuichi loves to coo at you and make fun of you (though not in an asshole way, don't worry). Snorts when you laugh really hard, only for it to be interrupted by a shriek of pain because of a cramp. His hands find their way to your tummy immediately though and his hands are so comfortable and warm on it they ease pain so nicely. And again: his massages are godly. Your entire body will be so relaxed afterwards and you'll fall asleep right then and there. He's sure you'll feel better when you wake up again. Until then, he'll keep you on his lap while he reads up on a case 💕

i write occasionally and i've been wanting to pick up on it again.

english isn't my first language, so don't expect too much from my writing qwq

i write everything from fluff to smut depending on my mood. i only write for sub!chars and dom!reader.

i know, or at least i think, most people celebrate at 1000 followers but considering i've had this blog for nearly two years 500 followers is a big deal to me. SO to celebrate i am opening my requests. now, before you go shooting me a request please read & acknowledge the following.

RULES:

must be following me. that’s a no brainer.

first come first served basis.

i will make an announcement after i have received 10 requests that requests are closed. please DO NOT make any requests after i have closed them. they will be dismissed/deleted. so just save your request for the next celebration. AGAIN those who request off anon will be priority.

because i don't want those whose requests don't get picked or didn't make it into the 10 qualifying spots to miss out on their request i will be saving requests to roll-over into the next celebration post (which will be at 1000 followers) so don't fret! however, a REMINDER that if you make a request AFTER i closed the requests those ones will be deleted.

you may only request oneshots. i will not be accepting any series or mini series requests. however, your oneshot requests can include requesting a sequel to any standing series or oneshots i have already written. for example, 'may i request a 'where are they now' oneshot for reader & rafe in 'always you''. or 'may i request a sequel oneshot to your ransom drysdale 'leatherbound' oneshot'. but of course, feel free to request something totally new!

no naming the reader. these requests are 'reader x whoever character you request'.

also! this is a dark!fic noncon!fic account. keep in mind that when making your request that you know exactly what you're requesting & from who. no fluff, no cutesy romantic stuff (unless it goes dark), etc.

i will include a list of characters below that i will write for that you can choose from, so please pick from there. if there is someone else you have in mind that isn't on the list DM ME first to ask.

I don't feel ugly - I am ugly. As someone diagnosed with BDD, I don't fit into the stereotype of the beautiful woman who believes she has some unthinkable flaw which makes her repulsive. My flaws are real: my face is off-putting and certainly unattractive. There are, however, almost no self-help resources for this issue, yet there are (rightfully so) many recourses for those with the more "conventional" form of BDD. These are of little to no use to those who are considered unattractive or ugly by the majority of society. The most effective form of self-help I've found relating to this is finding an obscure group on reddit to vent to, and really, I ask myself if it's really that helpful; reading about how others are shouted at in the street or avoided at work due to their looks does a great job of detering me from ever leaving the house. This brings me to the main point, however: ugly people face real discrimination. We are a group of people who are treated unfairly in society due to something beyond our control. With the current social environment progressing towards goals like gender equality, LGBT acceptance, and fat/body acceptance, why is it that we completely stop when we get to the face? Perhaps because it's taboo to admit that ugliness exists. The idea of admitting to yourself that you might be ugly can also be distressing, as it's something that is intrinsicly "bad." To be ugly is to be visually repulsive. To be unattractive is to be aesthetically un-beautiful, and in a world where "everyone is beautiful" is ubiquitous and beauty is like social currenty, of course this is something we do not want to confront. However, it is important that we do. Only then can we band together and advocate for ourselves. Very few people currently talk about how we struggle in the workplace due to lookism(1), or how ugly people are more likely to recieve harsher sentences(2). People talk about how ugly people are more likely to have unfavourable personalities, yet no one talks about WHY this is. Should we not consider that the way ugly people are treated can destroy someone's self worth so much that every social interaction is laced with the fear that someone is going to make a nasty comment or play a cruel joke? Is it not then easy to understand why an ugly person may have developed a defensive attitude that can come across as rude in order to minimise damage to their mental health? We're then blamed for our lackluster personalities, often by the very people (the attractive) who caused them. This does not mean we don't need introspection and that we shouldn't strive to be kind and friendly human beings, but it does mean we should try to have at least an ounce of compassion when discussing this rather than just parroting things like "it's your personality that's the problem!" or my favourite: "just shower and go to the gym!" People are often in so much disbelief of the lived experience of ugly people that they try to gaslight us. I've seen many a "that never happened" or "you imagined it" in response to an ugly person describing being shouted at in the street. Looking away or denying our reality is not going to make the issue go away, nor is it going to make you a better person for saying it. Our progress is hindered by people's disbelief. It's understandable that admitting to someone that they're ugly or unattractive isn't something we like to do. I'm an ugly woman and I would feel bad about it myself, but we must start changing something if we want recognition.

1, tie between dreamers and abyss (with roots as a solid third spot, which will probably change when i get farther in lemon tree or reread something else again)

6, vividly vividly vividly remember my gut emotional reaction to the reveal that regulus named his kid sirius in dreamers!! all of dreamers is incredibly emotional, esp the later chapters, but something about sirius hearing that while visiting regulus’s grave (and regulus’s wife not knowing who sirius was, not realizing the significance to him!!!!!!) was such an OOF. i reacted the exact way sirius did, oh my heart might stop. (on a more selfish note i also remember the moment where i read you putting remus meeting sirius’s kitties in abyss after i mentioned wanting to see it in an earlier comment. we hadn’t even been talking long and it made me🥰🥰🥰 it was such a nice surprised you are the sweetest )

7, more than anything, the end of dreamers. no surprise here, my thoughts have been incredibly painstakingly detailed in the comments section but there is really no other answer there. everything that happens at the end is so visceral and emotions, and the reveal of what he had done is such a Reveal. even more, emotional though, is the knowledge that he is still the good person we know him to be and he deserves love! it is so much to sit with and process and such Commentary on humanity and how we care for and value each other.

also a special shout out to the end of blue, such a good ambiguous ending that really hit after your depictions of their love for each other but all the tensions between the and in their lives. the heat in their final discussion! “You know I’ll get you that time around, yeah?” ouchhhhh. you write a great ending.

8, your voice! you find and articulate the meaning in things so well and you’re so deliberate in your choices. i’m always impressed by how you maintain themes and threads throughout stories. it’s very delicious and you make me feel things so hard when reading. this makes a lot of sense with how (as expressed in my earlier answers) i love your endings. they are also my two favorite chapters of my two favorite fics! you make everything come together in such a satisfying way.

10, never thought i would love a silly little toad named ruth as much as i did in lemon tree!!! on a more serious note, your portrayal of peter in roots made me much more invested and interested in him than i every thought i would be. you created such an interesting narrative around his motivations and descent to joining voldemort and it was fascinating to read and talk about

viserys being cut by the throne and each wound becoming infected, while he seems to not really care at all, is kind of indicative to his whole reign - he's failing because he doesn't seem to have any sort of principal or even passion that he's ruling with

honestly obsessed with how sparing the script is, for two episodes that are essentially both prologue before the real story starts, they let quiet moments build a ton of character (daemon not responding to rhaenrya after she tells him to just kill her, alicent already keeping her visits with viserys secret from rhaenyra before he even asks, rhaenyra's reaction to the marriage news)

not to give too much credit to men but i love how rhaenys / rhaenyra are currenty being written, rhaenys being Correct in her analysis of the misogyny of the country while also clinging to that to stop herself from wondering if it was About Her, rhaenyra having a hard time treating her with respect because she Has To think she's different, the way they could (and maybe will be) close allies but currently can't find solace in each other bc the throne is still in play for one of them

alicent being like the most enigma of all enigmas, we don't know how she feels about anything or if she's ever being genuine... i couldn't even tell you if she genuinely has feelings for rhaenyra
