I simply see a lack of the x male reader department for this show, which is ironic considering mostly all the characters are queer and so are the creators. So thank you for what you write and how well you write it! I was hoping I could make a request for a part two of a fic I rather liked "(Vox x bar tander!Male reader)" this one specifically. You hear Valentino's yelling from the other room, again.

This was not uncommon. Since you became the bartender in the Vees manor Vox visited the bar more often than before.

You guys spent hours talking and just because of the drinks either, he barely drunk anything cuz he was busy talking to you.

However, this of course annoyed Valentino. He wanted Vox's attention purely on himself.

"I don't." Said Vox, you know, like a lier.

"Work has just been really stressful lately and I need more drinks than before."

This was all lies. But Vox was not in the mood to be taking Valentino's shit, he would much rather go get a drink with you.

"Bullshit, I know how your work is and you blame everything on it, you dont even want to fuck me anymore are you a fucking moron do you know how many people want to get with ME."

And here he goes again. Vox was a little embarrassed though. It was true that since you arrived he was never in the mood to do it with Val, but he found himself having much more sex dreams with you.

He got red at the thought of that.

"You know what, I don't fucking care, go be happy with your boy toy; but don't you dare forget that you are where you are because of me." Ended the Argument Valentino as he grabbed a bottle from above your head, and walked out of the room.

You were silent during the whole argument. You knew it was not smart to start defending Vox you tried that once and, well, Vox had to stich you up afterwards.

"Care for a drink, sir?" You asked Vox. He was still, just standing in the middle of the room looking at the door.

He felt weird. Well, not weird, happy. But that was strange. Usually he felt guilty or annoyed when Valentino stormed off after a fight, usually he wanted to go after him. But not now. Now he felt...calm. Relieved even. He really wanted to sit down and have that drink with you.

"Yes, I would love a drink, and I've told you multiple times to call me Vox."

"Yeah I know but I didn't want to risk Val still hearing it." You chuckled.

"So, the usual, Vox?"

"Obviously." He answered back.

"Are you ok?" You asked as you poured his drink. You two were close enough for this not to be an awkward question. You were the bartender, you have comforted him after a night of drunken crying and put him to bed multiple times. He always asked you to stay. You never did. You just didn't feel ready yet.

"Getting better by the day, his antics don't affect me as strongly anymore." He commented calmly.

"I'm glad." You gave him his drink and you two continued talking.

And you talked, long into the night. Vox got a bit drunk again.

"All right mister I think it's time to get you to bed." You said smiling softly as you were about to jump from behind the bar and help him to his room.

"I can take care of him." Came a creepy calm voice from the door way. You saw Valentino.

He had a fake smile on his face. You knew this was trouble but he was kind of your boss.

"All right, sir." You just answered quietly, as Val took Vox and started to take him to his room.

"What-no, you-- (Y/N)--I, don't"

Vox mumbled drunken.

When they left the room you had a silent debate with yourself.

Yes Val was your boss. But you knew that taking advantage of someone while they're drunk was not below him.

"Fuck it" you mumbled to yourself as you jumped from behind the bar and tried to quietly run after them.

Thankfully you found them when they were about to enter the room.

When they got in you made sure to put your foot between the door and the frame so it doesn't close.

You peered into the room and you saw Val throw Vox onto the bed.

"You fucking whore, you couldn't keep your hands of the cute bartender boy could you."

He started angrily as he stepped onto Vox's screen, breaking it. You already wanted to barge in there when you saw this but when he started unbuckling his belt, thats when you snapped.

You jumped on Val, literally. And while the man might be powerful he had close to no muscles so he crumbled under you.

You knew you had close to no chance of winning. But you didn't care. You had to save Vox.

You tried to cut off Val's breathing by holding onto his neck for dear life. You might have been physically stronger he was still an overlord. A very powerful one.

You expected to be thrown down onto the floor any minute when the struggling finally stopped.

Your eyes opened widely as you hurriedly got off of Valentino.

You started panicking. What the fuck did you just kill an overlord? No, no there is no way he is so powerful why didn't he stop you.

You kneeled down and checked for a heart beat.

When you felt faint beating a boulder fell off your shoulder.

"Thank fuck" you commented to yourself. He probably just passed out.

But still why didn't he stop you.

You thought about it a but when it hit you. He was probably batshit drunk himself. You saw that when he walked away from the bar he barely managed to walk straight.

You were still panting.

You looked over at Vox and a strong feeling of sadness filled you.

You stepped over Vals passed out form and lifted up Vox.

He was lighter than you thought. You carried him all the way to your room where you knew you had a first aid kit.

Sure you could have just bring the first aid kit to him but you were not going to leave him alone with Valentino jot even for a second. Not even when they're both passed out.

After you put Vox's screen back together and batched him up you laid him down onto your bed.

This gave you time to think things through.

Even you couldn't explain to yourself why you cared about Vox this much.

Its true you have become very close during your time working here.

But there are people who you have known longer yet do not love as much as him.

...love?

"(Y/N)"

While you were occupied with your thought you didn't notice the time. It was morning already.

"Yeah, Vox?"

"What the fuck happened?" He asked as he started touching his patched up screen.

You told him everything. You also told him that you will very likely have to leave because once Val wakes up...you don't want to know what he'll do to you.

"He can't do anything your soul is mine you are under my protection." He said firmly. He sat silently after that. Like someone who is contemplating something.

"Can I ask you something?"

He asked after a long silence.

"Of course"

"Why did you save me?"

This surprised you.

"Well, I mean I know what Val is like and...I just did what any normal person would do really-"

"No. You know no one in hell would to that for the demon that owns their soul. Not to mention this was the second time you saved me."

"...I honestly don't know why I did it the first time; I guess I just felt like...I dont know"

"And the second time."

You couldn't answer this. You knew the answer but you didn't want to say it.

"Well, you are a nice boss you treat me with kindness and-"

"No one would attack a powerful overlord just to safe their boss who is just 'nice'; try answering truthfully this time."

Well fuck. You knew Vox was a smart man but that didn't help you in this situation.

"I..." you didn't know what to do. You could come up with another lie but he would detect it no problem.

"I love you" you blurted out before you could stop yourself. The moment the words left your lips you smacked your hands onto your lips.

"I'm sorry sir I will leave-"

Vox took your hand in his when you wanted to stand up and pulled you towards him.

With one swift movement he placed his lips on your in a tender kiss.

You have never kissed a screen before but you were pretty sure it wasn't supposed to be like this.

His lips were soft but cold. It was an amazing kiss.

"Oh, you're not going anywhere." Said Vox while he let out a little chuckle.

"Because I love you too."

Honestly, words cannot describe how crazy this chapter was, but we're gonna talk about it anyway...!! 👀 LET'S GO!!! 😆

The chapter begins with everyone checking how well they did on finals, and Anya did a whole lot better than last time...!! 😆

I AM SO PROUD OF HER!!! 👏😄

Anya went from 213th to 168th place!! 🎉 Let's hope that Anya continues to improve in the future...!! 😊👍

Then, we finally got to see how well she did in Classical Language and...:

She got second place...!

But, she will still receive a Stella for it!! 👏😆Then, we find out that she got 24 points in math, which is just below the cut off point... Which means...:

Now you two were grateful that neither of you had received any backlash, specifically you because he knew you didn’t like to be in the spotlight all that much. But he just couldn’t take it anymore, everyone fawning over you, seeming to want to marry you as well! And this guy’s comment, it finally did it for him.

Without hesitation Henry swung at the man, his fist connecting to the man’s cheek. Knocking him to the ground and beginning to groan in pain, “Don’t ever talk about my husband like that you worthless piece of garbage”, Henry spat before dragging you to the car.

Of course that little moment wasn’t ignored, pictures and videos were revealed of the event. People immediately coming to your defense, saying the man was completely in the wrong.

#8: After Act 3, what does their life look like? What are they talking about at the reunion party?

(This might come as a surprise but I haven’t actually played the epilogue yet 😭)

I’d like to think Tesni would go on a pilgrimage of sorts trying to reconnect with nature and her mentor’s Druidic teachings. After her personal quest, she becomes the chosen of Selûne, I think she’d try and reconnect with her Godess as well, after so many years apart. She also works with the council? Whoever’s in charge of Baldur’s Gate, after the whole mess with The Absolute, to help reconstruction efforts throughout the city.

And when that’s said and done she settles down, gets married to Astarion, and they live comfortably off of the significant amount of gold they found throughout their adventures. She researches cures for Astarion’s vampirism too (and for Karlach cuz I’m delusional and I refuse to accept that she dies or goes back to Avernus forever), I mean who better than a Druid to fix and otherwise permanent affliction lol 😌💅✨ Tesni and Astarion also have a daughter named Moon who is a sorcerer being trained in magic by Gale. 😜

// TRIGGER WARNING: I’m gonna talk a little bit about self-harm so if you struggle with self-harm I just want to warn you now before you read!! It’s not too serious but I want to make sure everyone stays comfortable!! //

Tesni has a variety of scars, a lot of them stem from her background as a Druid. Scars from animals, from when she was a kid running around in the woods, and one time she got shot in the shoulder by a magic arrow (I’m not gonna name names but we can all guess who missed mid battle 😒🦇) She also has panther spots, because I thought it would be cool, but also because her main wildshape animal is a panther.

Her other scars come from periods in her life where she felt hopeless or otherwise in bad straights. A little tidbit into her lore, when Tesni was young she had quite a few of her close family and friends pass away (in unfortunate ways). She’s always blamed herself for not being smart enough, brave enough, or strong enough to stop the circumstances leading up to their deaths (a part of why Tesni had a difficult relationship with her patron, Selûne. Tesni partly blames the gods, mainly Selûne, for not stepping in. Tesni’s mother was also a Selûnite, and when she died, Tesni’s inner conflict as well as her conflict with the Gods spiraled downwards from there).

Tesni spent a lot of her adolescence on the streets scrounging for food and money, many of those nights, she went cold or hungry. Eventually she became numb to her own comfort, and took jobs no one else would, leading into her being kidnapped by Mindflayers at the beginning of Bg3. That’s why Tesni wears sleeves on her arms, to hide her scars. Partly because she doesn’t want people to pity her, partly because she still feels their sting, and hiding them helps her move past those memories.

Eventually Tesni comes to the realization that beyond her numbness, she cares and feels deeply for the world and the people that live in it. After Act 1, she decides to start her healing journey, she becomes more honest with her companions and in turn they help her heal from her tumultuous past. Over time as Tesni heals, she mends her relationship with Selûne and eventually becomes her chosen.

🀄️reflecting on richonne

Rick and Michonne have had many similarities in their individual journeys. Some tragic, like both losing their firstborn sons and having to kill their best friend from the old world after that said-friend tried to take Judith from them. But one of the really sweet similarities is them both having an elder that influenced their lives.

Both R&M had an elder figure that really believed in them and helped them hold onto hope, not just for the greater good of everyone but for their own life too. And both these elders passed down a memorable, powerful, and needed phrase that helped Rick and Michonne believe love was still out there for them. Which then helped advance Richonne’s exceptional love story.

For Rick, that elder mentor was Hershel.

I love Hershel and I believe he truly was the second-most influential character to Rick. (With Michonne of course being number one.) In that lovely scene tending to a plant during the s4 premiere, Hershel passes down a sentiment to Rick that could be the thesis of the whole show and also the exact message Rick needed to know for his own life.

It’s when Hershel tells Rick, “Things break, but they can still grow.”

After so much loss, Rick’s family probably felt like it would be broken forever, especially once Carl became the only person left that he knew from his world before. In s3, Rick also hit a breaking point after all the loss, stress, and pressure he’d been carrying.

Yet, despite all that brokenness in his life, something beautiful and better than he could’ve imagined still grew. Hershel had to remind Rick that, even when things break, whole new plants are still possible. And by embracing that thought, it helped Rick to eventually embrace the love and fruitful life that was out there for him.

That idea of broken things growing and becoming new and bountiful is beautifully executed in Rick and Michonne’s story. They restored so much in each others lives and a whole new healthy plant is exactly what Rick got through Michonne and their wonderful Grimes 2.0 family.

Imo it’s no coincidence that right after this farming scene between Hershel and Rick, we immediately hear Michonne riding in on a horse as Rick stands up like he’s been magnetically summoned to greet her. Michonne’s return meant a crucial part of Rick’s whole new plant had arrived. 😌

For Michonne, that impactful elder was Deanna.

The more time goes on, the more I become a fan of Deanna. Because I know a Richonner when I see one lol.

I love how much Deanna saw the potential in Rick and Michonne and tried to get them to see what she saw in them. (I also feel like Deanna knew how special Michonne must have been to Rick right from the jump cuz I’d imagine Aaron told her that the only reason TF agreed to go to ASZ is because Rick does what Michonne wants 😋)

But I especially love Deanna’s deathbed scenes with Michonne. It’s so significant for Michonne’s journey and heart. I adore how passionately Deanna wanted to use her final moments to speak with Michonne woman-to-woman and be adamant that Michonne go after what she wants for herself personally. (Plus it’s a sweet way to set up Richonne, which would be canon just two episodes later.)

Deanna’s pertinent phrase during their chat is, “Someday this pain will be useful to you.”

Having endured so much trauma, it’s meaningful for Michonne to be reminded that valuable things can still come out of pain. And the pain isn’t just useful to others but “to you.”

As I reflected, I realized one of the first ways we saw Michonne’s pain prove extremely useful to her was when she first arrived at the prison. Because I believe Michonne being a mother, and especially a mother who experienced the pain of losing a child, is what even led her to TF in the first place.

It hit me how a huge reason Michonne even chose to first pull up to that prison fence is because she knew a baby was in there.

Michonne could have easily just kept walking after seeing Glenn and Maggie get taken by Merle. I mean she had very little reason to trust anyone after Woodbury. But Glenn and Maggie were talking about a baby and they had formula and I think that maternal instinct largely led Michonne to take the big risk of showing up to this new prison group. Because she had to get that formula to that baby. She has to ensure that baby would be okay.

And little did she know it was her baby she was saving. Making this one of the hundreds of reasons I’ll forever love Michonne and Judith’s mother-daughter story.

It was the pain of Michonne’s past as a mother that was useful in leading her to a whole new family, where she got to not just love again but be loved again by her kids and her husband.

I appreciate Deanna for passing down her wisdom and having so much belief in Michonne, and in Rick. And I appreciate Deanna for being a Richonne stan to the end lol. Like I’m glad that in establishing her as a character who can really read people, they have her being adamant to pair Rick and Michonne together because she could tell they were uniquely cut from the same cloth and compatible in every way.

I also think Deanna saw herself and Reg in Rick and Michonne and wanted to pass the baton to the two of them because she felt they were the power couple most capable of building the future she believed in. Just like Deanna expressed how happy she was to build a life with her family from start to finish, she wanted Michonne to know she could have that too because it’s really what Michonne most wanted.

But just like Reg and Deanna weren’t only leaders and builders together, Deanna wanted Michonne to know that the person you work so well with can also be the person you fall in love with and who is deeply in love with you too.

I know Deanna would be celebrating when she saw Rick and Michonne finally realize what she’s been knew, which is that they’re perfect for each other. And even with Rick’s “Farmer Rick” era being short-lived, I know Hershel would still be so proud of the way Rick and Michonne grew a beautiful new plant together. 🥰

For a small number of you, someone who identifies as female/some with feminine energy is jealous because of the way you eat carelessly and still don't gain weight?!? You could be trans and some people thought you would not look great after transition but you do and slayy in everything you do/dress😌✨( let the haters hate, babe you look amazing and don't listen to em, they just mad that they can't be on ya level).

Well, my pile 2 babies, are earth angels and help everyone around them and that is what makes people jealous. You make sure that everyone around you is comfortable and help people to realise their worth *sobs, cuz this pile is so cute*. Some of yall are really good at art or even singing or playing an instrument and people are envious of that(not in a bad way but more of like, "ah, I wish I could be like them"). Some of yall have a lot of people rooting for you, so that makes people jealous too. You could also be dating someone and that adds to one of the many reasons people are envious of you. You could be good at cooking/baking too. You could have a special talent that not many people have. Small number of y'all could be rich💸💵🤑 and be spoiled brats 😂 so that is why people r jealous of you.

Hi, allosexual/non-ace person here, I come in peace!

I'm not usually one to weigh in on broader topics like sexuality online, since anything I say is bound to be tinged with my subjective experiences more than I'd probably like. I'm also not an expert by any means...

But the recents Asks I saw in your blog made me want to chime in with my 2 cents; just, for the sake of the confused/concerned asexual homies I guess?

The stuff about allosexuals, or the majority of allosexuals, being motivated almost exclusively by sex isn't quite accurate. True, during preteen years (cuz of puberty and HoRmOnEs), allosexual peoples' sex drive start developing alongside their developing bodies. And as they grow into young adults it's very normal for them to explore their sexuality, to varying degrees.

But to say it's their main motivation throughout life? Or even that it's at the forefront of their mind most of the time?? Nah, dawg. A lot of people over-estimate how sexually active even young adults alone are.

(I remember like 4 years ago in one of my Psychology courses, the professor asked students how many sexual partners they think the average male college student desires to have in a year. The average guess of the students of my class was around 8? When actually, according to the series of surveys we were looking at, the vast majority of male college students wanted an average of 1-3 sexual partners in a year.)

Obviously, experiences will vary from person-to-person. But excessive promiscuity? Adultery? Living for sex??? That stuff is not the norm. To say all, or most, allosexual people are like that is (respectfully) some Freudian bullshit.

Hell, even the horniest of us (coughcoughMEcoughcough) ain't got time to be horny all the time! We're normal humans with jobs and hobbies and other stuff to do.

If you feel like you're surrounded by people obsessed with sex, those people are either exaggerating their actual thoughts/experiences (for comedy, toxic gender-normative posturing, etc.), or they happen to be from a group/community where that activity is more frequent than the usual.

And if you feel like all media is overly sexual (when it is not necessary for it to be sexual)--well, yeah, I agree with you. There's a lot of media where sex/sexual content is included where it isn't needed. The Big Business Executive dumbasses make those decisions, but honestly? If they took those parts out, allosexual audiences would not give a fuck. Genuinely.

(And if there were a small majority that complained about not seeing enough nudity or whatever-the-hell in their action movies or something, let's be real: that group would be the toxically-masculine asshole men--who are a dying group--and I don't think they should be associated with the rest of allosexual people.)

making a separate post for this so I don't hijack a gifmakers post but

@burntstay u literally have no idea! the entire past 2 years have been insane so excuse my rambling post

1. I went to see Dan last Nov and Dec. I went in November when he came to Seattle and got SO excited to finally meet him after so many years that I stumbled all over the MnG and couldn't respond to his very gentle kind compliments. So I flew to Oakland to see him again 😭 It hurt my bank account but not only did I meet him at that show during the MnG but he talked to me during the show too (interactive comedy show and I said I'd fuck the cinnamon toast crunch mascot bc he's a twink. he booed me but then brought it up several more time 💀)

November and December, respectively. (yeah he did accidentally get that fucking silver marker on my arm 💀)

2. Also in November, I had the opportunity to catch Kurtis Conners set he was doing in Seattle :] I went to the early show in the balcony bc it was what i could afford and Loved it sooo much but couldn't see bc I didn't have glasses at the time and at the end when I was calling my friend to talk about it, someone offered me 3rd row tickets because they had to cancel for a family emergency. I took them, could see the set, and it was just as funny the 2nd time!

the next day I'd taken my friend to Pikes Place (popular indoor/outdoor multi-vendor permanent market in Seattle) and ran into him and Jenna in the comics store!

^ me being so insanely happy but embarrassed bc I was partially non verbal and was trying so hard to communicate with him. (he was so incredibly kind and patient and then I helped him find the script he was looking for 😌 <- I do not work at that store)

now rapid fire! I also got to finally see Cirque! my old boss at the club had an extra ticket and brought me along!! (I have tried to sew Cirque THREE times and circumstances have always gotten in the way. mostly me moving abruptly like a week before the date they were in town)

In April, I got to see Hippocampus (one of my FAVE indie bands idc idc) and the guitarist Nathan gave me a pick! I also got to see Conan Gray again (saw him in 2019 without knowing who he was and got obsessed) and Cavetowns show with Tessa Violet. and Tessa RECOGNIZED ME which would have been insane anyways but I look SO different from the past times I've seen her!! I also saw some smaller bands and they were some of the most lovely kind caring people ever!

and then in June I saw 5SOS for the first time. I've been listening to them since I was a little tumblrina in 2014 and I cried so hard during their show. pure unadulterated nostalgia and joy. it was a really good show too (and that month my BFF who I usually go out to Philly to see once a year was able to come to ME because of a work conference 🥹 and my partner came up for our yearly 1 month together!)

also that month I met a comedian I ADORE!!! I found him by accident on Dry Bar Comedy in maybe 2015? and have watched his stuff on YouTube and followed him on Twitter since and I randomly ran into him in a vintage store in Tacoma??? And of course the first thing my dumb ass said instead of "oh wow it's Shayne Smith!! I'm a huge fan" no... I said "YO it's the guy I showed u that one time when I was drunk!!!" to my sister 😭😭 He luckily is a really dope guy, thought it was very funny, and danced around with me

In October I went to a music festival out east and saw a BUNCH of my favorite bands and King Princess said I looked hot, so highlight of my compliments fr (and saw mitski!) Lorde was coming but her set got massively delayed due to faulty tech and I had to make the last train so I didn't get stranded and did not get to see her.

Also I got matching tattoos with my other bff who I flew to seattle to stay with me for a week 🥹 hi @catholicdaredevil

which circles us back to the November/December stuff I talked about first cuz I got excited

The rest of the winter was just struggling through till I saw the sun again but I DID get to meet a long term internet friend at the convention in Seattle (s/o to @pjsforestkid for so lovingly dealing with my low energy the whole day)

April I saw Noel Miller live!!! June my partner came up and we traipsed around

and then September and October I got to sew 4 hozier shows, was barricade for 3 of them (and have professional photos for all 3 times I was barricade which is INSANE!!!!!), hozier called me out on stage for my shirt, I got posted on his ig, and I met almost the entirety of a friend group I've had since 2019 AND DanandPhilGames returned from the hiatus

it's been an insane almost 2 years I finally feel like my life is sorting itself out and I'm so overjoyed

this is such a long fucking post but your tags just reminded me of all the joy and love I have been experiencing and the love that continues!!! I am so happy :)

Me and my family just saw Spy × Family: CODE: White (dubbed version) and...

I ABSOLUTELY LOVED IT...!!! 💗😍💗 And so did my family...!! 😁🎉

But, before I talk about the movie, I wanted to show the card they handed out to the four of us:

People who are fans of Spy × Family and haven't seen the movie yet, BEWARE... Cuz I'm about to discuss Spy × Family The Movie: CODE: White... You have been warned...! 👌

[SPOILERS AHEAD FROM THIS POINT ON]

Where do I begin...? There's SO MUCH that I love about this movie that I'd probably just just end up describing THE ENTIRE movie...! 😅 So to avoid doing that, I'm only going to list MY ABSOLUTE MOST FAVORITE parts of the movie!! 😆 HERE I GO!!:

The Ferris wheel scene - OMG! I LOVE THIS SCENE SO MUCH!! 😍 I loved that Anya got Loid and Yor to go on the ferris wheel so that they can talk things out!! 😁 MY TWIYOR HEART WAS GOING CRAZY!!! 💗😍💗 And I also loved that Yor and Anya waved at each other, that was so cute...!! 🤗

Anya, Yor and Bond playing together - THIS WAS SOOO SWEET!! 💗😭💗 I LOVE seeing Yor and Anya spending time together, their relationship is one of my absolute favorites in the entire series and I'm so happy that the movie had this scene in it!! 🤗

Yor Vs. Type-F and Twilight Vs. Snidel - Both of these fights were AMAZING!! 🤩 My favorite parts of both fights were their endings...!! Loid disguising himself as Snidel, getting the upper hand and then defeating Snidel was really cool!! 👏😆 While in Yor's fight, Yor dodging Type-F's attacks, then the reveal that she used THE LIPSTICK THAT LOID GOT HER to draw on and around Type-F to blow him up gave me GOOSEBUMPS! 👏😍

The Forgers spending time together as family - OF COURSE I'D LOVE ALL THE MOMENTS WHEN THE FORGERS ARE DOING STUFF TOGETHER!! 💗😍💗 I nearly cried when Loid met up with Yor, Anya, and Bond at the fountain and went home together near the end of the movie...!!! 💗😭💗 And speaking of the Forgers being together...

The Forgers working together - I FREAKING LOVE THIS SO MUCH!! 😍It's something that I really want to see happen in the series proper, AND THE MOVIE DELIVERED!!! 👏👏👏

There are SO MANY other moments that I LOVED in this movie, but I like I said earlier, I'd talk about the ENTIRE MOVIE at that point...!! 😅 But, there's one last thing that I wanna bring up before I go... There are two times in the movie where Anya reads minds and we DON'T hear their inner thoughts...!! The first time was after the ferris wheel and Anya reads Loid and Yor's minds, and the second time was after Loid and Anya reunite and Anya reads his mind...!! 😲 It's pretty obvious that whatever Anya heard was good because she smiled after both of those times, but that doesn't mean that I'm not still curious to know what Anya heard in those two moments...!! 🤔😁

Anyway, that's pretty much everything that I wanted say about the movie!! 😊 I would love to see it again in theaters, but I can also wait for the home release as well...!! 😁 Also, NOBODY TALKED DURING THE MOVIE, so the curse of other people being LOUD and ANNOYING during an anime movie that I wanna see seems to be broken...!! 👌😌

List of thoughts I have with FFXVI!! (That no one asked for).

This is me being a hater. Read to you own discretion

Jill’s entire character, arc, story, person, being. Girl they did you SO WRONG.

Also, didn’t homegirl have the curse too. She was a dominant of WAR. are we just gonna ignore her illness

On that note, are bearers with the curse just doomed to sickness and disability post ultima

The most unrealistic part of FFXVI is the fact that they didn’t make some fake ass slur for bearers

Clive showed NO BEARERS CURSE through out the game. Was that intentional. Bitch was snorting aether by like the first third of the game.

I love Joshua. 🥰 I love him so much. He’s probably my second favorite character.

Ya kno, if you make Josh and Clive unrelated, replace Josh with Jill, made Jill play the role as a young dominant that Clive is the shield for, their love story would be more believable (is that too FFX to do?)

I got a very good amount of Clive crying and I reveled in every second of it. He’s so pretty when he cries.

I know cid had the right mind to destroy the crystals, but I wonder if Clive doubted himself for a second for doing it bc if he didn’t, the cycle of violence would just continue.

I really like Clive as a character who needs positive male figures in his life for his lack of one after Phoenix gate. His reliance on cid and Joshua is very endearing.

I love anabella 😌 she’s a wonderful villain.

What happened to the girl with the poultices. Like u can’t just give her closure off screen!!!

The same goes with Terence!!!!

Does Byron inherit the region of Rosaria as the last Rosfield.

How is the DLC gonna cover Clive more? Let me play as Joshua lol.

This game wants to be Devil May cry so baddddd

There are many instances where we could have and should have controlled the other party members

The game was overall was very easy. I died mostly on purpose to try new techniques. It actually got boring at some points

The barnabas fight was the best

Every character in this game has no growth except Clive

I still believe that they should have labeled cids group as a cult filled with terrorists. The political impact would insane.

There were a few instances where the game could’ve had horror elements. The one sidequest regarding the orphanage is one of them. And Cyril’s quest is another. Shoulda been the RE4 opening lol.

Did cid get ramuh when he was older? He mentioned that ramuh chose “this old sack of bones”

Self-awareness of BSD narrative:

...or something like that, I'm not even sure of the title. Ahem.

A story with a concept like incorporating real life literary figures as character names, and reference their works, is already meta enough, but it's also topped with more in-story materials too!

I'm probably 10 years too late to talk about this stuff, but, well, I'll just post this anyway.

*possible spoilers for the manga*

This one is pretty obvious , the book with power to re-write reality is a nod to, the bungou stray dogs script itself.

This whole thing is a self aware fiction within fiction 😌.

Every plot point that feels like plot convenience, the 'story like consistency', are because, they're exactly that! Atsushi is special because, yah, he was written as MC! He's got plot armour, because he does ! All the things that sometimes makes us think 'huh, ok, so that happened now', everything that actually does sound storylike, is because, they are! If anything feels like it came out of nowhere, maybe it's because they did, like the sky casino for example.

This story is knowingly following the story-like consistency. (Stuff that we don't question and became part and parcel of supernatural anime-ness, but doesn't make sense in real context.)

"bound by the book" is also like how sometimes we, the audience/reader get trapped by the story narrative and don't see things from different perspectives. (After years of watching different shows, many of us saw this happening, right?) And then there are the audience who break free and enjoy a story from their own neutral perspective.

The hunting dogs, authorities can't see the detective agency is innocent because they're 'bound by the book's rule' to not believe them, and sometimes it's hard for the readers to see these antagonist's point of view either cuz we're bound by this story's narrative 😏. Again, there are one's who break free!

(Have you ever read/watched something and in the middle of the story, felt with a jolt that you've literally broken out of what the Narrative is saying? Kinda like Tachihara. I had this strange experience)

This is one of the storytelling issues I often ponder about, How brilliantly addressed! "painted as a villain by the narrative'' - Our MCs, detective agency literally faced this. and in turn, some readers might also be getting annoyed at the current antagonists, it's sometimes easy to forget that in their eyes, the ADA members are evil criminals.

What a take on the theme of villainifying (is this a word?) charactes!

Sigma. Just sigma. Yes.

Literally a character who just landed in this universe, who's "story starts from the middle". In a way, Isn't that true for most fictional characters we get to know? And sometimes he's the clueless, only normal one, perfect as audience avatar 😂

Random theory, The final main villain will be Asagiri Kafka 😉 lol

Random theory 2 : A character we know actually wrote the entire state of BSD universe that we're seeing now 😶. What we're seeing now is an already altered reality.

Maybe the 'book' was already used to change many things, alter most character's memories. Maybe by Natsume Souseki. Or even Dazai! (Kinda like Beast, he was responsible for beast...? I should've read Beast fully before posting this!)

.... And many more I'm not writing or haven't noticed.

Wouldn't be surprised if the 4th wall is completely broken at some point, haha! Ok, I don't think this will be blatantly addressed, but still, the meta references, how various storytelling trope is being played with, even an alternate universe storyline, everything is already brilliant! I'm absolutely loving this meta-ness!

So, these were my.... thoughts? Some theories? Mostly rant? Basically what I find most intriguing about BSD. This aspect of storytelling is usually my jam, I think of meta references everywhere anyway, so this series is a feast for me!

Excuse my messy writing, my lack of vocabulary in any language to express everything that's been on my mind, me being new in the fandom and not reading the novels yet... And I'm starting to sound like Atsushi.
