You work as a sports trainer, providing basic first aid and injury management for the Hanguk University’s soccer team. Going with your mundane life of caring for the dozen of guys hurting themselves in the soccer game takes a turn when one of the guys catches your eyes. It’s not his breathtakingly good looks or his muscular athletic body usually seducing girls at the campus that catches your eyes. But the action plan in your kit, indicating he is diagnosed with Asthma is what draws your eyes time and time again to the Golden Boy of Hanguk University.

You shift under the heavy weight that is pressing on you, looking down on your body to find a bare thigh wrapped around your torso. You furrow your eyebrows looking back at the person who’s sleeping abnormally close to you, realizing its Jungkook spooning you.

“Shit!” you immediately jolt up from the bed, throwing the guy’s leg over and watching as he groans in his sleep “SHIT SHIT!” you scramble to grab your clothes, the guy still sound sleep.

Your horror only heightens as you grab your phone and realize its already 9 In the morning and your 15 minutes nap have turned to a whole night of sleep in Jungkook’s bed.

You guide your panties over your thighs before searching for your jeans somewhere in the room, each item of clothing settling around your bare body as you run around like a mad woman. You sigh as you fix your shirt around your chest, watching the guy sleeping soundlessly on his bed, still in dreamland.

You grab your bag and throw it around you shoulder as you turn the doorknob, looking back to check and ensure the guy is sleeping as you quietly leave the room and close the door behind you.

“Hey sugar!”

“HOLY SHIT!” you shriek as you jump on your spot, as you turn around and see Taehyung standing in his shorts and bare chest munching on his toast “You scared me!” you state in a quiet tone

“Did you sleep over?” He wiggles his eyebrows as he stuffs your mouth with another toast he has in the other hand

“Tae, I will personally tape your knees to your dick if you tell anyone about this!” you warn in a quiet tone as you chew the strawberry jam toast

“Your secret is safe with me sugar,” he chuckles as he ruffles your hair “Jeon will pay my confidential fees, so don’t worry.”

“I left you fuel money in the dashboard,” you sigh as you continue to walk down to the hallway “Thanks for last night.” You add quietly as you try to put your shoes on

“You didn’t have to Sugar,” he chuckles as he follows you to the door “Your walk of shame covered it all,” he smirsk in a teasing tone and you throw a glare at him “So how was it last night?”

“Shut up,” you push the guy out of your personal space “See you later!” you turn on your heels and leave the guy behind, cheeks flushing in embarrassment as you decide to erase the night’s memories from your mind.

You watch as the guy squirts an abnormal amount of maple syrup on his cream covered pancake, chuckling as his almond eyes meets your judgemental look.

“I like my pancake like I like my girls,” he leans closer before murmuring “messy and sloppy!” he winks, laughing out loud as you roll your eyes

“That was one way to ruin pancake for me,” you immediately throw your knife and fork on the table, “I cant believe you claimed your brunch right away.”

“Angel, there is no guarantee for tomorrow,” he shrugs as he stuffs his face with some of his messy mix of pancake and cream “Who knows which one of those Hanguk’s ghouls will claim you next?”

You immediately tense at the guy’s words, remembering you just fucked one Hanguk’s ghouls last night against your best friend and literally everyone’s advice.

“Well we’re even with this,” you say in a quiet tone “we’re leaving last night behind right?”

“Which part exactly?” he asks with a naughty grin “The part where I caught you and Jeon in the same room,” he hesitates as he looks at your cheeks flushing, hand reaching to hold your chin up to ensure you look him in the eye “Or the little hickey he left on your neck last night?”

“SHIT!” you wince as you quickly cover you neck, realizing you completely forgot about the guy’s teeth marks on your neck “I-It’s a rash!”

“Yeah I know,” he chuckles teasingly as he watches you quickly search in your bag for your concealer before turning your front camera and checking your neck “I only noticed it because I’ve given it to a lot of girl before,” he says with a knowing smile “its not too obvious to a unprofessional eye.”

“Good for you to have such professional eyes,” You glare at the guy as you tap your concealer on your neck before checking it on your phone screen

“So, can I claim another brunch?” he asks with a teasing smile “Because just this is not gonna cut it for all the mess you made last night babe.”

“I wanna sue you for blackmailing, Park” you sigh in defeat “fine, you can claim another meal of your choice if that means all of this stays between us.”

“Does the choice of meal include your pussy?” He whispers with a wink

“Park, don’t push you luck!” you warn, rolling your eyes

“How about a breakfast in bed,” he asks with a smirk “Where you sit on my face as soon as I wake up?”

“Of course,” You raise the knife and flash him a sarcastic smile “but it comes with a complimentary bloody merry,” you blink hysterically as you stab your pancake with your knife “after I chop your dick off.”

“Jesus,” he laughs out loud, head falling back “It’s never a dull day with you Angel!”

“I’m glad you’re enjoying this, Park!” you continue to cut your pancake with rage when you hear the familiar nickname echo in the restaurant.

“SUGAR!” your eyes snap to the source of the voice, watching Taehyung entering the café and your heart starts beating, panic rushing through your face as you watch Jungkook walking closely behind him “You’re here- “

“Hey TaeTae!” Jimin waves from across you instead “Hey Jeon!” he chuckles in victory as he finally sees the guy

The knife in your hand immediately falls off your hand as you meet Jungkook’s eyes, his doe eyes staring darkly at you, and you feel your blood rushing to your cheeks.

“H-Hey,” you say weakly, averting you gaze from Jungkook to Taehyung “W-what are you doing here?”

“I guess this place is pretty popular,” Taehyung ignores you as he stares right at Jimin “the talks must have reached SNU about this place huh?”

“Not really,” Jimin grins, licking the syrup off his thumb “I was invited,” he smiles watching Jungkook’s face fall “Angel invited me for brunch.”

“Right,” you nod, internally cursing yourself for choosing the most famous brunch café on Hanguk campus “I did!”

“You must be very hungry,” Jungkook speaks up this time, surprising both you and Jimin a he tilts his head cockily “Must have had an intense night huh!” he points out with a knowing smirk

“Y-Yeah, I guess!” you gulp, cheeks flushing as you wish the ground would open and swallow her whole

“Same here,” he chuckles darkly bringing his gaze to Jimin as he pushes his hands in his pocket “I gotta recharge from the intense night I had last night.” He smirks in victory, as he watched Jimin’s smirk fade on his lips

“Must have been a hell of a night,” Jimin raises an eyebrow suspiciously as he looks between him and you before adding “should we order some fruit salad Angel?”

“What-“ you furrow your eyebrows, finding the guy’s question slightly random

“I’m craving pineapples and cranberries,” Jimin murmurs, eyes still fixed on Jungkook and your face falls as you realize where the guy was going with his question

You’re too scared to look at Jungkook but you decide to spare him a glance as he finally speaks up after a long pause.

“Enjoy your fruit salad!” he spits in a sarcastic tone, tongue darting to the corner of his cheek as he turns around and leaves the café, Taehyung calling his name and following after him.

“What the fuck Park?” you ask as you bring your angry eyes to the guy sitting across you

“I know you may have heard this a lot,” He says in a stern tone that catches you off guard “but he doesn’t deserve you angel,” he sighs, eyes shifting in a concerned manner

You stare back at the guy, lips parting to respond but nothing leaving your lips as you realize the words are exactly the reality check you needed at that moment. You lower your gaze, hand reaching for your knife to continue cutting your pancake.

“We’re having the next meal in SNU.” you state making the guy against you laugh quietly, easing the tension between you as you both continue to eat.

It’s another night at the training and you’re back at your usual routine, doing a few straps and massages before the game and sorting out the minor injuries from the previous game.

You’ve seen Jungkook entering the training room earlier but decided to play along as he just walked past you without saying anything. Something deep inside you slightly sank at the thought of your short-lived moment with the guy from the night before now being only a long-forgotten memory.

“Hey guys,” Hoseok yells from the changing room, bringing all the attentions to himself “Get together in the seminar room before the training, we have a meeting.”

You furrow your eyebrows at the announcement, trying to search your memory associated with the said meeting. If there is a medical meeting with Dr Kim, the young doctor never fails to notify you in advance, making sure you have time to participate as well.

“Can we just skip it Cap?” Taehyung yells from the other side of the locker room “We’re already pushed for time for the training.”

“No KimTae,” Hoseok shakes his head “Get yourself to the seminar room as soon as possible.” He yells and the guys respond yes in union

You quickly finish up the few straps you’re left with and clean up your treatment desk, making your way to the seminar room. Most of the guys are already settled there and talking amongst themselves, so you just look for a chair at the back but hear Tae calling for you.

“Here Sugar,” he waves and taps the empty chair beside him which happens to be between him and Jungkook

“T-Thanks,” you nod, secretly hating the guy for being overly helpful as you settle beside him and Jungkook, bringing your eyes to the latter “Hey, Jeon!” you say, trying to sound neutral

“Hey!” he nods with an hollow tone and you decide his dry tone is enough to end the conversation

“Did you know about this Sugar?” Taeyung taps your shoulder and you bring your gaze to him

“about what?” you ask in a lost tone

“Yoongi Hyung,” he raises an eyebrow, pointing at the front of the room “He’s here for the meeting.”

Your eyes widen, snapping towards where the guy is pointing at, watching the guy talking casually with Hoseok and Dr Kim. The rush of emotions starts to overwhelm your brain, the last time you saw him, and the memories associated with him all carving a fresh wound in your heart.

“Shall we start?” He speaks up in his usual quiet but stern tone “You guys must be dying to get back on the field!” he chuckles, eyes curling as he looks around the room

Please don’t see me, please don’t see me, you pray silently as you try to make yourself shorter than everyone else, but not surprisingly the Hanguk’s former captain spots you right away as he glances at the row you’re sitting in and flashes you a knowing smile.

“As you know I’ve started playing for nationals last year,” he explains as he grabs a bunch of brochures and passes them to the front row “They gave me the privilege to come and scout a couple of you for next year,” he explains with a proud smile “If anyone is interested, you can speak to me or Hosoeok and I will keep my eyes on you in the finals.”

You lower your gaze, clenching your fist to control your shaking hand as you go through all seven stages of grief. How could he just stand there, look so handsome as always and act so non-chalant, smiling so brightly into your face when he knows what he’s done before leaving broke you into pieces.

You shut your eyes closed, gathering all the strength in your body to your feet and finally standing up to rush out of the room.

“W-Where are you going?” Jungkook asks, holding your wrist as he looks at you with worried eyes

“I-I forgot something!” you mutter the petty excuse weakly before rushing out of the seminar room and back to your work desk.

The rush of tears rolls down your eyes as soon as you’re back in that room and you press your palm to silent yourself. You don’t want the whole Hanguk’s soccer club knowing you’re still not over the fact that their former captain cheated on you.

“Hey,” you gasp as you hear the familiar voice and before you can react you feel a firm grip around your arm, pulling you around “Are you okay-“ the guy’s words dry on his lips as soon as he sees your tears “What the fuck? What happened?” Jungkook asks in a rushed tone, trying to meet your gaze for an answer

“N-Nothing,” you respond, averting your gaze and quickly wiping your tears “Its an allergy.”

“Don’t lie,” he scolds as he steps closer and stop the harsh touch of your hand on your eyes, replacing it with his slender fingers to wipe your tears “Sshhh,” he murmurs wrapping his arm around your waist and pulling you closer to his chest “You don’t need to tell me,”He whispers as he strokes your back soothingly.

“J-Jeon,” you resist, pushing against his chest to distance yourself “Someone might see- “

“I don’t care,” he wraps his other arms around you, holding you still “It’s okay if you want to cry, just cry.” The soft soothing words, along with the soft touch of his hand behind your back is enough to melt you in his embrace and cry your heart out against his chest.
