Death would slowly turn to look at you with a deadpanned look at the fire between the two of you crackled. You cocked your head to the side and stared back at him. Despite the mask you’ve been traveling with him long enough to be able to read him. He was.. confused.

“He, I guess. I don’t see why something like this matters anymore.”

You snorted lightly and shook your head at him.

“War, what are your pronouns?”

War and you were walking around a now decrepit office building trying to figure out where to go now. You sprouted the question on him suddenly. He stopped for a few second to process the question.

“I’m not sure what you mean by that.” He said looking down/up at you slightly puzzled.

“Like your pronouns? He/him she/her? What do you use..?” You ask staring at him starting to wonder if pronouns ar even an important thing now.

“Oh uhm he..him I guess?”

“Strife. What are your pronouns..?”

“Male ones????”

He said confused at you unsure of how to respond to your question. He’s knew what pronouns are but wasn’t sure on exactly what they were if you catch my drift.

The gunslinger just kinda stared at you before perking up and jokingly nudging you.

“You think I’m hot enough to be a woman.. awww” You respond with a head sake and light chuckle.

“Hey Fury, do you mind if I ask you what your pronouns are?” You asked and she huffed turning to you

“I’m a woman.. so she/her I guess?”

You give her a nod pressing her further with question might easily trigger the already lit bomb that is Fury. At least she knew the right answer!

Sometimes when I get bored I look up the VAs of some of my fav characters in varying languages and it is always fun to see where else I might know the VA from. For example today I learned that ENG War (Darksiders), Yasuo (League of Legends) and Infinite (Sonic Forces) all share the same VA (Liam O'Brien). Also GER Zenos (FFXIV), Izaya (Durarara!!), Oikawa (Haikyu!!), Duce Gorgon (Monster High), Grey (Fairy Tail) and Sidon (Botw) have the same VA apparently (René Dawn-Claude) and now I can't stop thinking about Zenos dropping lines from Haikyu.

EDIT: sooo apparently ENG Death (Darksiders) has a different VA in the thrid game (Jason Spisak) aaaaannnd shares a voice with Abbadon and Lust (also Darksiders3 specifically) aaaaaannnnd also Silco (Arcane) and a whole bunch of Deadpools of which I will not list all here because I am too tired and it is the middle of the night.

EDIT 2: ....GER Death (Hans-Detlef Hüpgen) in darksiders 2 is Rayman in the 1999 TV show first dubed in german in 2003 the further I go down this rabbit hole the weirder it gets

EDIT 3: The following list of VAs and Character is Referring to the German dub of ROTTMNT only, idk anything about the english peeps. Leo shares his Va with Atem/the parao from yugioh (Sebastian Schulz). Mikey shares his VA with Tails from the 2020 Sonic movie as well as Steven in Steven Universe, beast boy in the young justice cartoon and Izuku Midoriya from My Hero Academia (Sebastian Fitzner). Donnies VA....yyeahh literally never heard of that dude before, got nothing. Raphs VA (Florian Hoffman) is also Sephiroth in the Final Fantasy 7 remake, Goldiva in Superdrags, Rosen Kranz in Servamp and my man Dirk Gently in dirks holistic detective agency on netflix plz go watch it it deserves more love. Aprils VA (Jill Bötcher) also voices Bloom in Winx the cartoon, Daphne in Scooby Doo, Spectra in Monster High and a whole bunch of others, if I'd list them all I'd be sitting here all night.

You want to love D3, but there is so much frustration, glitches, and long loading times that it’s hard to. Environments and set pieces are hit and miss, mostly miss. But imho the biggest grievance would be making a Darksiders game into a wannabe Souls game. Fury deserves the same treatment War and Death got. Instead, we have a polarizing game that feels like a half assed attempt at Devil May Cry and Dark Souls. Not that the previous two games were completely unique; they weren’t. The previous relied heavily on the Zelda formula, but at the very least, a feeling of being an actual rider of the apocalypse was there, rather than dodge, counter, one hit kill, rinse and repeat once the game finishes loading. Well, in a more human-influenced horsemen world, I'm sure the Holidays would be very interesting. 😂

If we're talking Christmas, I think the horseman would enjoy it. Though it may take quite a bit of explaining of the whole ordeal. They'd never admit it, but I'm certain the four would be excited at the thought-particularly Strife, of course.

Death, in particular, would be grateful for any thoughts shined his way. A gift? For the man who's literally been through hell time and time again, upon having the crushing weight of looking after his brethren forced upon him? He may even let the slightest bit of emotion grade his features behind that mask of his. Though again, he hides this very well-he'd never let his siblings see such vulnerability.

Fury wouldn't know what the hell to do, though for her human friend she'd certainly...attempt to join in on the fun. Creation help you if she decides to gift you something😂

War is surprisingly thoughtful, I would think.

Strife most definitely gets everyone a gag gift. And if nephilim could get intoxicated (I don't think they can?) but if so, we all know Strife would be having a great time.

Now, focusing on New Years! The horsemen's human company surely would have told many stories and traditions. To the horsemen of course, time is completely different. To spend such an evening in preparation for yet another year seems rather trivial, especially when nephilim live so long.

It's Strife who has to remind his brethren of just how short of lives humans live.

Speaking of Strife, he's the only one who truly adopts the idea of New Year's eve and attempts to join his human companion in all the festivities suggested.

I think Death wouldn't really partake in many activities, however he'd find himself enjoying your company. He's probably lounging about somewhere where he can watch you and the others from the top of a book or a cup of tea.

Fury gets a kick out of beating strife at any of the festivities. Could potentially turn into a heated fight. Watch out, hah.

War is just content to be around good company, much like his eldest brother. He may try to enjoy some of your ideas, though I imagine he'd have some difficulty understanding the meaning of it all. He'd continuously search for an answer from you.

And I don't know about any of you; but when the countdown came about, I'd crush every single one of those horsemen in a giant hug. Strife may try to sling you about in your tiny form. Prepare for that😝
