🧽• Bruce loves to imitate Alfred, if Alfred is cleaning then Bruce is cleaning fake dishes in his play sink

🫐• Bruce is always watching over Alfred's shoulder when he does puzzles, so now Alf makes sure to get Bruce a kid word search to do alongside with him

Shout-out to @cutiecorner for throwing me back in my Batman phase! I love this blog so much, it's so cozy and safe.

I especially like Bruce's obsession with trains; I always wanted trains as a little kid, but my parents just got me the typical girly stuff. Then they said I was too old to play with my little brother's...rip.

That being said, I'd love to have a playdate with Brucie, I can bring my animal toys and they can ride the trains! That is, if Alfie wouldn't mind? 👉👈

Bruce never had to tell Alfred directly about his regression, it just naturally happened over time.

Sure, there were conversations about how to go about it and boundaries, but no direct coming out conversation.

Alfred is already observant, and he’s been taking care of Bruce since he was a baby. The man knows his son.

When one of his kids regresses, he’s always the first to notice, as well as the first person by their side to assist them if they need it.

Alfred’s swaddling has become a household favorite.

The blankets are always soft and smell like vanilla lavender, which is a personal favorite scent of bruce’s.

Bruce’s kids always prefer to run off and grab a blanket from the study or office to be swaddled in, since it smells like a mixture between Bruce’s cologne and Alfred’s cinnamon tea, familiar and comforting scents.

He’s mastered the art of being able to divide his attention between kids equally to ensure nobody gets upset that he may spend more time or attention on a smaller regressor.

Bruce goes between being a caregiver and a regressor, and though most of the kids would never admit it to bruce (Dick is blunt and honest when he’s regressed, a trait that Bruce has a love hate relationship with.) Alfred’s milk recipe is just different in a way that can’t be replicated, they’re never too sweet, never too warm or hot. Always perfect.

Most kids least favorite time of day is bedtime, but everyone in the house adores it when they’re regressed.

Alfred makes it fun for the still energetic ones, making it a game or challenge to do their bedtime routine, like brushing their teeth and taking care of their face and hair.

“Good job, sweetheart! Lets see who can brush their teeth the best!”

For the soft and gentle sleepy ones, he helps them around, doing the routine mostly for them with soft praises and encouragement to keep them awake long enough to get them in bed.

“Oh, you’re very tired, little one. Let me wash your face and then you can cuddle up in your warm bed, hm?”

The only time one of the kids don’t like going to bed is if they’re between being regressed and not because they’re tense and stressed from doing work, but Alfred can always guarantee that he can pull anyone away from their work with a little bit of babying.

Taking their hands in his, doing more things for them than usual, making their favorite snack or drink.. the list goes on.

He loves when his kiddo’s stick to his side all the time. Wether it be curious about what he’s doing around the house today, or just wanting to be around Alfie because there’s no reason needed for that, he loves it. Absolutely adores it.

If someone gets hurt, he’s always rushing to their side, cradling their head with whispered assurances as he examines the injury.

“Oh dear, don’t fret, Alfie’s here to help you. Now let’s see where you got hurt.”

If someone is upset, Alfred will do anything to keep his babies from crying. If it’s something minor, like a stuffed animal having to be washed, he’ll play games with them to keep them distracted. If they’re super tiny he’ll make funny faces like he used to with baby bruce.

If it’s something bigger that can’t simply be distracted with, he’ll sit with them and hold them in his lap as they cry. If they wanna talk, he’ll listen and nod along, talk about how brave they are. If they don’t want to, he’ll just press kisses to their head, tell them how they’re so strong.

“It may not be okay right now, darling, but I promise you it will get better.”

He would never let one of the kids see, mostly out of fear that they would begin to worry about him, but once they’re all in bed or he watches them play from afar and enjoy themselves, he sheds a few tears at the fact that his kids not only found a way to help with their issues, but that they trust him with the honor of helping and taking care of them in such a sensitive situation.

- Loves baking you treats. He uses his Ma's recipes and it's always delicious.

- Extremely EXTREMELY gentle with you. He'd never let anything happen to you.

- A little too lenient sometimes and has a hard time sticking to rules. He just wants to get you everything you want all the time for you to be happy. But he knows that isn't always the best. He's trying to be more strict but you're just too cute sometimes! When it comes down to your health or safety though, he's real serious.

- Heavily values routine, but everythings adjusted to your ability.

- He loves all nick- and pet names you give him. Just don't call him supes/superman in public hehe.

- He loves calling you nick- and petnames too of course!His favorites being buddy, prince(ss), sweetpea, kid/kiddo, sunshine and love. But he's up to call you anything you'd like!

- Always asks questions to make sure your comfortable. "Do you like it when I call you this?", "Do you want me to hug you, love?", "Is it okay when I tease you? Always tell me if I'm being too harsh, okay prince(ss)?", etc...

- Carries you everywhere you want and in anyway you want. On his shoulders, in his arms, on his back, in one hand even!

- Good at taking care of all kiddos, from infant to teen regressors. One of the best at taking care of rowdy littles as well.

- Praise, praise, praise!!! "Amazing, good job!", "Wow! You're so smart buddy!", "Thanks so much sweetpea, couldn't have done it without you!", "You're such a good kid"

- Loves going places with you. Mostly his parents farm where you get to help feed the animals and collect eggs while he's helping with the big work. But you guys also go to parks, malls, aquariums and fairs whenever you can. You're always on an adventure.

- Speaking of his parents. Both Mrs. and Mr. Kent love you. Their house is so cozy and friendly. They babysit you every once in a while when Clark's busy.

- The absolute best at comforting you. After you'd had a bad day, when your sick, after/during meltdowns. He's calm and collected in these situations and he just always seem to know what you need.

- He's the type who wakes up early on weekends to make you a yummy breakfast. He'd greet you with a "Good morning sunshine!" and a "I made your favorite!"

- Good night stories every night. You often visit the library to find what you'll read this week. He also likes showing you books he liked as a kid.

My part of an art trade with @cutiecorner ! This was so fun!

They requested their insert with Alfred Pennyworth doing something cozy, and I chose reading! I can see him doing funny impressions to make his little ones laugh, and then slowly quieting his voice as they fall asleep. They also sent me a picture of the caterpillar toy; it's so adorable!!

And this was the beautiful piece they sent me! I requested my insert playing trains with Brucie, and it turned out so adorable!! I really love it so much; this art style is to die for!

Batman/Bruce Wayne age regression moodboard! 🦇 little (long) list of headcanons below the cut !!

I’ve been getting really into Batman, like, a lot more than what I expected. That being said, here are my headcanons and items explained in the moodboard!

First off, the bat plush. Someone (probably Clark) got it for him and he kept it on a shelf, claiming it was a waste of money since he doesn’t need a stuffed animal, let alone of a bat, too cliche in his opinion. And though he’d never admit it, the small plush would definitely bring some sort of safety to him whether he was small or not, just being able to have the little bat in his hands and run his fingers over the fur would definitely make him feel better 🫶🏻

Second, he’d definitely play with soft toys to not cause a lot of noise, finding more peace in silence with maybe some old cd’s or classical music in the background at a low volume!!

Third, the teapot obviously is a connection to Alfred, I think when he’s small he’d love to play as a little helper around the house with Alfred, or at least returning Alfred’s treatment by having a tea party with him!!

Last but not least, the night light/projector!! I think when he’s small, he doesn’t like being alone or being in the dark, so when he’s (rarely) alone, whoever is taking care of him puts the space projector on the ceiling and that thing can and will distract him for hours, without a doubt.
