I just seen this person pop up on TWD and I have never seen this person on here. I tried to search for this character, but apparently, there is another Nora who comes up instead... and it isn’t even THIS PERSON who is ALSO a Nora, and they have one in the social game...
I comprehend that people be having the same names, but this is so annoying to me personally, as somebody that searches for Black female characters a lot in a place like Tumblr, where people already do not like or appreciate them.
Tumblr media
Are they the same character, but played by different people? I for some reason thought that TWD and FTWD existed in tandem, so I don’t even think that they could be the same character, but why would they put two different characters with the same name on two related shows?
Tumblr media
AND THEN TO HAVE YET ANOTHER SHOW COME OUT AND ANOTHER FUCKING NORA?!?
I have never in my life known this many Noras to exist at one time. I don’t know ONE Nora, right now. Do you know a Nora? Are you a Nora? Let me know.
Tumblr media
This the chick that keep coming up, by the way:

Scream VI
Tumblr media
Summary: Sam Carpenter (Melissa Barrera), her younger sister Tara, (Jenna Ortega) and their friends Chad (Mason Gooding) and Mindy (Jasmin Savoy Brown) now live in New York City after the traumatic events of Scream V. Unfortunately for them, so does another Ghostface.
Radio Silence show hatred for stomachs in brutal sequel that criticises true crime obsession and gives Jenna Ortega best moment.

Practical Deco Mini Review: SCREAM VI (2023)
Tumblr media
"I hear you're a horror fan"
yes! It is an absolute yes from me. We are getting slashers that are mean, bloody, and filled with chase scenes again and I couldn't be HAPPIER!!! Had a ton of fun with this one. I love that this franchise is in the hands of true horror fans who continue to pay homage without over referencing. I'd like to think Wes would be proud!
Each attack felt PERSONAL and teeming with anger. Ghostface more than ever felt unhinged and purposeful. This time Ghostface has a plan as is ready to take down anyone and everyone to reach their goal, bystanders be dammed. It truly gave the feeling that no one was safe. Anywhere.
The evolution of our returning characters was great to see. They are back and they came back prepared to fight hard for their survival...again. The core four. Between Sam and Tara learning how to understand and be around one another along with Mindy and Chad's concern and want to protect each other. This was swimming in sibling love. We also have their relationships with each other growing as they realize they are each other's family.
Without giving anything away, this film is all about family and subsequently legacy. How it follows you, how you set your self apart, and how you can accept it as a part of you but not all of you.
Loved the new setting and the use of the city. It was like a game of manhunt with endless hiding places..There's no need to go back to Woodsboro, unless we introduce the mom. Take Ghostface on the road. It is fun. Bring them across the bridge to Jersey next, give us a Six Flags chase scene. Put Ghostface on El Toro during Fright Fest. Or take them to International, let's go to Japan. A Ghostface world tour.
The only thing that I was kind eh on was the killer reveal monologue, but it is not really a complaint more of an observation. They were going on for sooooo, so long. So LONG to explain something so simple. At some point, I don't care how unhinged you are and just want you to shut up and start swinging.
Anyway, can't wait to watch it again and again. Another watch will probably be a 5 star watch.
And yes, an add to the Sibling Representation list.

Scream VI (2023, dir. Tyler Gillett & Matt Bettinelli-Olpin) - review by Rookie-Critic
Tumblr media
I'm not sure how many more ways I can sing this franchise's praises, but they keep giving me reasons to, so I'll just keep doing it. Let me get this out of the way up top: go see this. If you are fan of horror movies, if you are a fan of the Scream franchise, if you like good storytelling and meta-commentary, go see Scream VI. I would highly recommend watching the first five Screams, as well, because they're all fantastic. I was worried when they announced the fifth film because Wes Craven would no longer be in the director's chair. Why would anyone dare to continue something that so clearly was Craven's story, his vision, his style? I was gladly proven wrong. I was worried again when I learned they were making this one, not because of anything having to do with Craven's absence, that much I had come around on after directing team Gillett & Bettinelli-Olpin's superb job on the first one. My worry this time around was the absence of franchise star Neve Campbell's absence, and for something as silly as the director's not wanting to give the actress, that has been the face of the franchise since day one what she probably deserved, money-wise. Thankfully, again, I was proven wrong.
These stories could very easily go stale, Gillett & Bettinelli-Olpin could very easily play into the meta-tropes that Craven had set up with the original quadrilogy, but they don't. They continue to innovate and take the framework Craven built and apply fresh new ideas and new commentary onto it. Not to mention the acting prowess on display from everyone here, including Hayden Panettiere who returns to the franchise as Scream 4 fan-favorite Kirby Reed. Panettiere maybe seems a little wooden at first, but by her second scene onscreen that has melted completely away. Dermot Mulroney is also a welcome addition to the cast, and he's an actor I've always wanted to see in more stuff. Continuing the franchise's long-standing meta-narrative and satire on the slasher genre, the film takes place in New York City, and it's the first time it has really felt like the space of the city has been utilized. The creativity of the vast set pieces that are jam-packed really gets down into the core of claustrophobia and the anxiety of being around too many people at once. There's not really a whole lot else to say about Scream VI without beginning to dive into spoiler territory, and I know that this wasn't a review so much as a gushing session about how good this is, but I really don't have much to complain about. It was just exquisitely done meta-horror of the best kind. Go watch Scream VI. It's fantastic.
Score: 10/10
Currently only in theaters.
