I imagine Michelangelo was in dimension X for 3 months. The portal being down for 3 hours when it shut down after him jumping through, causing a panic between the three older brothers and plenty of stress on Donatello to fix the thing. They are definitely upset about the baby of the family accidentally trapping himself in an unknown foreign dimension. When the portal finally opens they find Michelangelo safe and well, even saving his three older brothers from the dangers of the dimension. It’s not until after the event that the changes in him are really noticed.

The effects immediately post return:

- noticeable weight loss/malnutrition

- discolored sclera and labored breathing

- reduced sense of coordination and balance

- muscle pain, migraines

- PTG

- obviously maturing in all three ways (emotional, mental, physical)

- I can’t think of anything else rn

What If Rise Mikey Became Trapped in Dimension X?

A few notes for my fanfic ideas personified with rushed pencil drawings which try and relate to the image. I’m really bad at any bg so apologies.

What if, indeed?

Day 494: The last time Mikey cries for the help of his brothers. After this, he focuses more on surviving and begins to see that escape is impossible.

Day 562: Mikey stops keeping a tally of the amount of days he’s been there. After this day, he loses count. Built for war, Mikey continues to survive and thrive in this hell. He becomes desensitised as he forgets to hope for his brothers’ return.

Day ???: Fight. Survive. Goals have been reduced to two, thoughts faded into basic instinct. His mask is lost. He can’t remember a time before this.

For universe 2012, his brothers were only gone for a few seconds and it became months in dimension X. Rise Mikey’s accidental portal into dimension X was unseen, unknown. No one knows where he is. How long will he wait?

Will they ever find him? He doesn’t remember who he is waiting for.

So I'm slowly being dragged back into my 2012 tmnt phase again, and I wanna talk about Mikey in Dimension x for a minute,

The first being

Can we talk about the Kraang arms wrapper around his leg and arms, as well as the Kraang skull? I saw one post (I can't remember where or who made it) saying that mikey found the skull as it is and just put it on as a hat, which honestly understandable and believable if not for the fact that he literally has Kraang arms wrapped around his limbs.

Did he murder a Kraang and rip its arms and legs off before skinning it and taking its skull? If so, and this goes into my next point, how much time had actually passed for him to resort to that? (but tbh Mikey is Def not above murdering people but I'll get into that in a minute)

We know that time moves differently in X but what IS the time difference? Like every 15 seconds on earth is 15 months in X? 15 hours? What?

But since there's never been an answer I'm just gonna move on

Also to do with dimension x, Why is Mikey more in tune with that stuff? Like the portals, and why does he just understand how to use the Kraang technology?

But basically my working theory is just because Mikey is the pinkie pie of TMNT 2012

My main point was about the Kraang arms and skull that Mikey is wearing though, so... Yeah anyway that's it I completely forgot to go into the Mikey not above murdering people, I only have 2 points for this but anyway

1st: It's the first episode where Mikey first fights a Kraang droid, he's backed-up against the wall and he uses his nun-chuck knife (idk what it's actually called) and starts slashing (it's face I think) as defence. My point is that he didn't know that it was a droid until afterwards and he just starts slashing a part where it could kill. ok yes it's out of defence but still a point is a point 2nd: is when he's fighting Bradford (before he mutates) and just uses the same knife part of his nun-chucks and aims for Bradfords head where it would most definitely kill him.

yeah it's not much but still I think Mikey can and will go absolutely feral

anyways i know some people don't think he spent too long in 'Dimension X (like he said) but i find it real funny if it is true.

Likeeee that would mean that in the short time he was left unsupervised he both murdered and skinned a kraang ⚆_⚆.

Anyways I added some d i s s e c t i o n scars to him cause in my AU they (the kraang) are not as advanced in their plan as they are in cannon. So they are still trying to understand life on earth.
