Here’s a cute DMC headcanon that’s been on my mind:
Some where in a different AU, when DMC3 Dante and DMC3 Vergil eventually do decide to reunite and be brothers again, Vergil will introduce Dante to baby Nero.
Because Vergil’s hair would also be down because he didn’t have time to slick his hair back with a disclosed hair secret he refuses to share with his younger brother, Nero would be looking back and forth between the twins, confused on who is really his dad.
In a rare move, Vergil would go along with Dante’s joke and pass off Nero to him. Then Dante would pass Nero back to Vergil, so on and so forth.
Dante would be cooing at how adorable Nero looked all confused and trying to figure out who is dad really is.
Vergil also agrees because he’s smiling and chuckling a little too.
The twins decided that’s enough and Vergil as usual, slicked it back effortlessly, which made Nero smile and giggle.
Baby Nero after finding out which twin was his father, “Dada!”

Heh, another AU based on DMC and DmC: Devil may cry...
Finally, cute everyday life (◡ ω ◡)
During an evening walk, Nero and Kyrie find a wounded angel on the outskirts of the city. The creature was unconscious, lost and barely alive. Kyrie couldn't leave him, persuading Nero to help. Of course, the guy was, to put it mildly, unhappy. He did not believe in angels, but he could not refuse the girl.
It turned out that the angel had lost his memory, even forgetting his own name. At first they called it simply “dove”, “chick”, “feathered” and the like. But one day, during dinner, Nero accidentally called him V. So this name became boring. Now there is one more weirdo in the “Devil May Cry” team.

DMC Questions Anon here!
How would things go in a scenario where the twins weren't separated after the fire? How would the story we know go in this world? How would their characters be here? What about their dynamic?
Feel free to do this as Dante was still inside the house while Vergil was outside, they were both inside, they were both outside, or any idea you can think of for how this could go. Feel free to tackle multiple variations of this scenario.
Hello again!
Hmm. In my little brain scenario here, both Dante and Vergil are (still) 8 years old, standing outside of their house after they had gotten into that argument (VoV). They're both watching the house burn down and they can hear their mother's screams from inside as they just watch frozen in place, unable to do anything about it.
I feel that they would blame each other even more for her death and they would fight even more, possibly actually succeeding in killing each other in the future.
Still going with the VoV timeline, Vergil would blame Dante for teasing him about his book, and Dante would blame Vergil for running away and making him run after him, which in their minds, prevented them from being able to save their mother.
Neither of them realize they both would have been killed along with Eva if they were in the house as well. All they can feel is pain, regret, sadness, and anger.
(this got real sad real quick 😅)
