saw some ppl on tiktok getting SO PRESSED about polycules and relationships other than hualian and that was kind of funny so i needed to make and explain my relationship chart

i’d love to explain to them (as a polyam person myself >:3) that love is not a limited commodity and hua cheng falling for yin yu doesn’t mean he suddenly doesn’t care about xie lian at all but i fear that would be lost on them HAHA

i debated splitting yin yu x he xuan x hua cheng from the moon quartet then decided against it because it was getting waaaay too chaotic

yes, i had to break the trio and quartet into different categories

mulian: mu qing always admired xie lian for his self-assuredness, strength, and also beauty. he was a bit jealous of him for a long time, but they were able to talk about it and they both forgave each other for everything that happened in the past. he's had a crush on him since the beginning, but was bad at showing it. xie lian thought mu qing was pretty and a very interesting person; when he got older, he regretted not spending more time getting to know him, so he makes up for it later on in life! he loves when mu qing is softer and shy and more vulnerable than he is usually, and loves how mu qing is a good listener and is pretty emotionally intelligent.

fengqing: well. you get the idea

fenglian: feng xin was always loyal, the first person to have fallen in love with xie lian, and dianxia’s first kiss. he would’ve never left xie lian if xie lian hadn’t told him to. he respected xie lian a lot. xie lian loved how much feng xin cared, and felt immensely guilty about being unable to give him anything more. when they reunite, he showers feng xin with gifts and words of affirmation (he got better at expressing his emotions) and they spend a lot of time together

xianle quartet

all the other ones stay the same, so i’ll just explain the two new ones

huaqing: they were once stuck together and had to talk just out of boredom. they bickered a little but the more they talked the more they realized that there was more to the other. mu qing feels genuinely bad about what he did to hua cheng. he has a hard time apologizing but he tried his best to express his remorse, and hua cheng was pretty shocked (previously thought mu qing was a bit of an asshole) and, since mu qing was being sincere, decided to accept his apology. they hit some rough patches now and then, but xie lian and feng xin help them through it. they realized they’re pretty similar, and team up to stir up trouble with people they don’t like sometimes!

huaxin: feng xin was jealous of hua cheng because he was the one who won xie lian’s heart after 800 years and was really happy when he found out that xie lian liked him too. he admires that hua cheng was strong enough to help xie lian so many times. he also likes that hua cheng is a little cocky sometimes (read: very often), and finds hua cheng very good looking. hua cheng was jealous of feng xin for being the first person to be that close to xie lian, but appreciates how loyal he was throughout everything that happened and finds him pretty cool. he likes the way feng xin curses a lot when he’s pissed (finds it endearing)

huayin

ONE OF MY PERSONAL FAVES!!!

yin yu fell first, because hua cheng was so fascinatingly determined and also like the prettiest person he’s ever met. he was intimidating, but could be quite kind, as he was to yin yu when they broke past the employee/employer relationship and became closer

hua cheng began to notice the way yin yu came off as so meek and unnoticeable, but had a kind of poised anger and strength beneath all of that. he trusted yin yu with a lot of more important tasks, paid him well, and considered him as more of a right hand man or partner in crime than a henchman, then eventually as just a partner

e’ming also likes yin yu, and trusts him to take care of it

hua cheng finds it endearing when yin yu gets protective of him (both of them know hua cheng is perfectly capable, but hua cheng finds it sweet regardless)

yin yu cheered hua cheng on a lot with xie lian and patiently listened to everything hua cheng had to say about him

huayinlian/hualianyu

yin yu fell for xie lian because he heard about him all the time. how could you spend so much time hearing about how wonderful, kind, gracious, and amazing someone is without catching feelings a little? additionally, hua cheng allowed yin yu to visit xie lian’s temple and leave offerings, trusting him to be genuine in his actions. yin yu saw some of the paintings and sculptures of xie lian and found him beautiful. he knows a lot about xie lian's life, and truly wants him to find peace and happiness

xie lian loves how devoted yin yu was to hua cheng and how much he helped him. he knows those years were hard for hua cheng, and he’s glad that he had a companion (contrary to what people say about “cheating”, xie lian is incredibly happy that hua cheng managed to find love while he was waiting). i know yin yu is canonically “plain”, but xie lian loves him and thinks he’s very handsome :) he gives him a lot of compliments and words of affirmation

blackmoon (yinxuan)

yin yu thought he xuan was terrifying and intense, only to discover that. he’s just a guy (/pos). but he does have a lot going on! he has urges and a complex history and emotions he doesn’t show to a lot of people and plans within plans and is generally such an interesting person with so many layers to him. beneath a lot of those layers is a guy who’s kind and smart and would’ve stayed kind and smart if his life wasn’t utterly ruined

he xuan initially thought yin yu was just kind of pathetic, but learned more about him and started to like him more. he finds his passion really attractive, loves how genuinely sweet, kind, and gentle he is as well as how harsh, cruel, and unrelenting he can be. he treats he xuan well and makes him feel human and real and knows when to leave him alone and knows when he wants attention and cooks for him and-

they feel seen around each other, having experienced similar things (such as having their destiny “stolen” in different ways though) and have experienced suffering in such a firsthand way. they’re ready to just chill together now :)

moon quartet (hua cheng, xie lian, he xuan, and yin yu)

xie lian finds he xuan cool, doesn’t have too many thoughts about him. he xuan thinks xie lian is cute and also mildly terrifying (i’m definitely editing this later on, i just don’t have a lot of thoughts about them yet)

hua cheng and he xuan have been close for a long time, helping each other out with ghost king business. hua cheng let he xuan relax and chill at ghost city when he needed to, and he xuan kept a close eye on the heavenly capital, so they met often and bonded. they’re both motivated by something and are incredibly passionate about that thing, so they mutually admire the other’s drive and courage

i have the least for them so far, but i just think they’d be sweet together :] they’d all help each other heal and be able to talk to each other. they’d love each other a lot and take care of one another when they need it and be there when someone needs someone :3 idk they’re so traumatized and deserve to recover from that i’ll form more thoughts i swear

for gypsy rose its just rampantttttttttt 'perfect victim'-ism. i believe there is a term for the phenomenon but basically its like everyone will have disdain for an abuse victim unless they're dead then they're a statistic they can use for their own purposes. her mother was abusing and drugging her for years and wouldn't have stopped until she was dead but bc gypsy fought back literally at all and isnt constantly talking abt how she's scum of the earth some ppl are acting like she's some awful evil person and not an abuse victim who acted out of desperation. felt remorse. went to jail and is still on parole. and its misogyny bc we're living in a world that at the same time OBSESSES over and heralds male serial killers as ~geniuses~ that could outwit cops 🧍🏾‍♀️ its always 'women should be armed' and 'if i were abused i'd kill them' and then a woman gets rid of her abuser and its think pieces on how no one should be happy she's no longer being abused and even though its documented that she exhausted every avenue and begged for help and wasn't believed that there was 'another way'. bc abuse victims should just die in the court of public opinion esp a woman

CLEMENTINE

She can definitely relate to the stoic, ‘don’t talk to me’ demeanor. Whether it’s intentional or not, she’s not offended by your resting expressions that may or may not unintentionally convey unfriendliness. You’re tall, which was pretty intimidating at first, and the same could have been said for your tattoos and scars. She almost wanted to ask where in the hell you even had the time to get a tattoo, but she decided against it. But nonetheless, she can’t deny that you intrigue her. Yet, she wasn’t entirely sure how to approach you. In her defense, it wasn't like you expressed a super friendly exterior, so you couldn’t really blame her hesitancy. 

However, when Louis suggested a game at the couches one night, Clementine thought of it as a chance to sneakily try and get to know you. There was something inside her that was telling her to not make it obvious that she was interested in getting to know you. Though, you could definitely tell that the leader of Ericson had her eye on you, but you didn’t make it obvious that you knew. It was normal to tip-toe around someone, but as the game of cards ventured on further into the night, that constant urge to be subtle slowly faded. Especially when you started showing to her and everyone else that you were friendly. 

You had a nice smile, a cute laugh, and Clementine admired the way your eyes shined whenever someone cracked a giggle at one of your jokes, or whenever you found something someone else said amusing. You weren’t just a comedic personality though. The brunette could clearly see that you had a kind soul, and she made a mental note to actually make the effort to get to know you, once the game of cards ended for the night.

VIOLET

Violet likes to keep to herself more often than not. Seeing you come into the community and becoming acquainted with the members that resided within didn’t really catch her focus. She isn’t much of a people person, so when she saw your tall form walking around the courtyard, she didn’t find herself very interested in your presence. Sure, your tattoos were cool, and you looked mysteriously intriguing, but to her, you were just another new person that probably didn’t plan on staying at Ericson for very long. 

It was an assumption that she soon realized was incorrect. Either way, she didn’t really mind it. You were still someone that just so happened to mutually live around the school. Really, your existence didn’t interest her at all, until Louis suggested a game night around the fire in the courtyard. Her lack of care wasn’t anything personal. She was just an introverted soul, and it didn’t really help your relationship, because you didn’t make much of an effort to approach the blonde, either. 

However, when Louis eventually forced everyone to gather around for a game of truth and truth, Violet unintentionally started to like you. Your intimidating aura, and your cold and stoic demeanor slowly shifted into sincerity and generosity, which certainly felt like whiplash to her. When you smiled, she couldn’t help the ghost of a smile that would form on her own lips, and when you laughed, she couldn’t help but smirk to herself as she glanced down at her lap. She didn’t want to admit it, but after a simple game of cards, you definitely got onto her good side.

“Hello there” he said with a sigh followed by a yawn.

“I’m sorry Ben, we coulda got home just fine.”

He held a hand up, “No, it’s fine, I’ve woken up at unholy hours of the night to help people for years”.

He looked back at Ahsoka “I just didn’t expect to have to get you two when Anakin called”.

He began driving the road towards Anakin's apartment.

“Yeah, he scolded us for being immature and irresponsible” you huffed.

To which Ben let out a laugh, “He’s right, but that’s amusing coming from him”.

Soon, you arrived at Anakin’s place, “why did Anakin call you to get us? If we were just gonna go to his place?” you asked.

Ben tightened his grip on the wheel before answering, “He doesn’t really like driving at night, and I would just bring you two to mine, but my fiance, Satine is over”.

You gasped, alarming Ben, “Wait I feel so bad!!! You really didn’t have to come get us, You were with your fiance! Love is sooo important” the alcohol was still making you sound delusional. “Noo, Ben! Go home and tell her you love her and kiss her and hold her. That’s wonderful Ben, I wish I had that”.

He laughed and proceeded to help Ahsoka out of the back. You arrived at Anakin’s door and knocked on the door, no response. You began to knock again but Ben stopped you.

“I’ve got a key” Once you were in you looked around for Anakin but he was nowhere to be found. Ben sat Ahsoka on the couch and asked you to watch her while he went to get Anakin. You plopped down beside your friend who was fast asleep. She slumped over and rested her head on your shoulder, she was warm and smelled like liquor, but she was still radiant as ever. You waited for a minute, then two, then five, then ten, where were the guys?

You were about to go investigate when you heard the click of Anakin’s door followed by footsteps. An irritated looking Anakin walked out first, dressed in gray sweatpants, a burgundy hoodie and his normal gloves, followed by Ben.

He was still walking kinda funny as he came out to face  you. Ben patted him on the shoulder, “You sure you got this?”.

Anakin nodded, “yeah, thanks for dropping them off”. To which Ben nodded, waved, and swiftly exited. Now the room was still with Ahsoka snoring lightly on your shoulder and Anakin’s gaze burning into you.

“Hi?” you said timidly.

“What the Fuck, F/N”

There was that feeling again, shivers down your spine.

“What?” you asked, genuinely puzzled. 

“You two are adults, about time you start acting like it.” he huffed as he limped over to the chair on the other side of the living room. 

“We were just-”

“And you two do this every week!”

 “Hey! We don’t go this far! And it's not even that bad, you’re just being dramatic” you shot back, feeling cornered.

He held his hand to his forehead in annoyance, “Ahsoka needs to grow the fuck up, and so do you. You think you can just sustain this lifestyle in the real world?”

Umm, what the fuck? 

Was this man really lecturing you? He doesn't even know you.

“Who are you to say what we can and can't do? You don't know me”

“Yeah, but I know Ahsoka and she was better than this as a kid. And you're right, I don’t know you, and now I’m not certain I want to” he spat.

Ouch.

You felt all of the confidence drain from your body, your heart anxiously began to race. You sat there in silence for a moment then looked over to Ahsoka and patted her head before you laid her on her side. You got up and the couch cushions shifted slightly.

 “Ok, sorry for wasting your time, i’ll be going now” you said as you collected your bag and started for the door. 

He rolled his eyes, “Where do you think You’re going?”.

“I don’t know, but not here, that's for damn sure” you said, gripping the door handle. 

Soon you felt yourself sway and your vision got fuzzy, what the fuck? You wavered and your legs gave out and you were suddenly on the floor. Fucking great.

You opened your eyes once you felt something stiff gently shaking you. You looked up and saw a worried looking Anakin looking over you. “Fuck, are you alright?” he asked anxiously.

You closed your eyes and nodded before mumbling “mhmm, i’m just gonna sleep on the floor..”.

He shook his head and ran his hand against your arm, his gloves had gripy material on the insides of the palms but his hands felt hard. He guided you to a sitting position and asked you a few questions.

“Are you alright? Do you think you’re going to be sick?”

You shook your head, “I’m fine, I just have a headache”. 

He nodded, “Ok, can you get up for me?”.

You nodded once more, leaning on him for support. It was like both of you were drunk by the way you were attempting to stand. His balance wasn’t very good and he had to brace himself against the wall before he could help you. Once you were up you rested on his shoulder for a moment, you listened as he caught his breath. Once both of you were ok he began walking. 

“Where are we going?” you asked.

“My bed, Ahsoka is on the couch so I can’t get the pullout”.

“What about Ahsoka?” you asked.

“I’ll watch her, but this isn’t the drunkest i've seen her, she’ll be fine” he said sitting you on his bed.

“Do you drink this much this often?” he asked.

“Not really, I go out but I usually only have one or two drinks” you said.

He sighed, “ok, here drink some water. We need to get you hydrated. I’ll get you some ibuprofen and then you can go to sleep, ok?”.

He sounded nicer?

“Why?”

“Why what?” he asked.

“Why are you being nice to me?”.

“I’m concerned, that’s all” he said, but his actions said otherwise. 

He was rubbing your back as you sipped the water he offered. It was sweet. 

God, you wanted to kiss him.

Once you were done with the water you set it on the nightstand and faced him once more. His cheeks were still rosy from the exertion of getting you off the floor. At least, that's probably why they were red. 

If you weren’t so tired you would have made a move, but your body was telling you to sleep, so you ignored your urges and laid down. 

“I’m sorry, Anakin” you whispered, eyelids feeling heavy with sleep. “I know you don’t like me, but just please don’t hate me” you trailed off at the end.

You felt him pull the covers over you and felt his hand linger over your side.

“How could I hate you?” he responded softly, almost as if he were only talking to himself.

1/ yorushika

actually i lied yorushika is in fact my number one always and forever if yorushika has a million fans i’m one of them if yorushika has one fan that’s me if yorushika has no fans that means i am no longer on this earth. yorushika is a jpop/jrock band consisting of n-buna (songwriter/musician) and suis (vocalist) and they mean the whole galaxy to me their lyrics are so insanely good i use them for writing inspo all the time and in general they’re just?? so good??? their songs always feel so bittersweet and nostalgic and the instrumentals are soo incredible…. this is my favorite band of all time they fr changed my life i highly recommend checking out any of their songs/albums bc they have literally never missed. I Fucking Love Yorushika.

Samantha LaRusso — 4.5/10 I had mixed feelings though the whole show…her and miguel were cute but she was not my favorite like Miguel just wanted prom to be about them but she just HAD to make it about her and Tory… also the fact she was the only girl on miyagi do and lowkey made it her whole personality was not it…

Eli “Hawk” Moskowitz — 7.5/10 I actually enjoyed his character and loved how he didn’t let kyler and the others get to him and found himself. DIDNT LIKE HOW HE WAS A BULLY TO DEMITRI AT ALL but then he had a redemption arc and actually came back and was a good person again and i respect him so much for it (also he was really funny ngl)

Robby Keene— 6.5/10 I loved Robbys character development throughout the show and how he grew with himself and learned to forgive Johnny throughout the series. HOWEVER there we quite a few moments that i was like DAMN how could he do that, like shaving off Hawks mohawk and legit screwing everything up for him and pushing the literal loml off a balcony when he was giving you mercy and didn’t want to fight anymore 😐 so there’s that. Nonetheless Robby still gets a 6.5

Tory Nichols — 9/10 i loved her way more than sam tbh. like she had way more character development and a reason behind her actions. payton list did a wonderful job with tory, and i feel like she will have such a big impact in season 6. i honestly loved her so much and can’t wait to see more of her

Kenny— 6/10 okay kenny i get you were bullied and shit and good for you for standing up to your bullies but he really thought he was all that and frankly he was quite annoying in my opinion.

- How i feel about their canonical writing/handling

tbh i think i do a bad job portraying her comphet? buuut. to take a step back and think neutrally about things, i think that’s predominantly a result of, again, the role she plays in the story, and the fact we’re not in her head. we can judge how well i write her comphet when we get to pick her brain a bit more in ftes. id rather have a more subtle, more accurate depiction, then one that’s made inaccurate with how in your face “wow my bestie is so pretty if only girls who liked girls were real…” it is. (<- not that portrayals like that are bad/wrong, it’s abt enjoying yourself while not feeding into negative stereotypes! i just don’t really want to depict her comphet in that more lighthearted manner).

- The one thing i’d want to make canon about them

again. this is prolly just gonna be stuff which didn’t happen in canon but could’ve if things were different? w/mekaru i think if she studied psychology more and like. Dedicated herself to it she could easily rise to shsl psychiatrist level. this is canon but i think that she’s specifically interested in medicine when it comes to treatment of the human condition. she likes and grasps it all, but the history of assorted pills is where she Shines

There’s a lot of people I could nominate for being the worst at walking around the ship. Xisuma trips down the stairs a lot and Zed’s herd instinct makes him impulsively follow crowds and get super lost. Honestly Zed’s issue is kinda funny so he’s one of them- XB wouldn’t be great at it since he doesn’t go far from the water tank thing he spends a lot of time in (tfw you have gills) so he’d get lost super easy.

Keralis asks a whole lot of questions! Mainly because the ship’s systems and whatnot aren’t at ALL like his home hive. He just wants to make sure he knows what everything does. Also it’s important he knows that if he’s gonna be the ship’s architect and whatnot JAJSJA- Also Wels asks a lot of questions but just cause he has no fucking clue what anything is. Do u ever feel like you have soo many ppl around u but u are still alone. I feel that right now. I mean i know you are friends, i can see it very well and I’m happy for u but don’t make me feel like u r nothing but a flatmate to us.

I’m happy that they r bonding. In fact I’m very glad that they are, this is what i wanted, for everyone to be happy and friendly. But somehow i feel like in the thought for all of us to bond together, i was the one who got left out. And i know it’s not their falt. They r lively and cheerful and funny, none of the things I’m, so it was kinda understood that tgis will happen.

It’s not their fault that you like being left alone sometimes or that u don’t like ppl interfering in everything you do. It’s okay.

I’ve made peace with the fact that not a lot of ppl will be able to be friends with me if i stay like this, but I can’t help it, i am boring, I’m bossy, I’m rude.

For example, i spawned in a single netherite upgrade template, then burned a few diamonds that I would have used to make it. Then used that one to make copies legit. We (me) also legit built a mob spawner but it sucked and instead of spending two hours fixing it i fucking cheated to get it working it is so scuffed. The mob spawner is like free game. We kill each other so much over there the mob spawner is just BM simulator. We have keep inventory on so we don’t get frustrated since we play casually and just like to fuck around which means we can just kill one another for fun. My sister was building a barn (why we had the concrete for the McDonald’s from earlier) but she hated it (it was ugly) so we blew it up with tnt (we made an event out of it). It looked like an among us. Also one time i accidentally shot and killed her cat (i was trying ti kill her) (it didn’t even have a name she had to make one up on the spot to put on the tombstone) but it had brought her a gift right before I shot it so it was kinda sad. I made fireworks and a lovely gravesite to make up for it (the berries i placed r annoying but too funny for me to get rid of honestly) but the barn looked like an among us so I had to make fun of her for it.

Pretty early on in the server’s lifespan. The dog hole is still there we have so many dogs. They are horribly neglected. Honestly I just have so many mc stories on this server especially. And in general too. I love mc i love mc i love playing w my sister and cousins. We vibe. We have fun. The world builds sm character. We’ve played on this server quite a bit too so there r so many fun landmarks and stories. i never get to talk abt this stuff but I can be cringe and annoying on tumblr without directly bothering any of my friends so WOOHOO

This is an old world. I believe this is the one where we had “the beach house” (my sister was convinced that the beach house was pretty far away but turns out after I did some mass deforestation as i love doing it was literally in eyeshot of our main base LMAO” we also had a church. The world we currently play on the most is the longest we’ve really played on a server, which is super cool. It’s like the third multiplayer server we’ve all done and it’s cool to see how much we do things now compared to when we were younger. Our first world (i would love to see it again but it’s on my old kindle tablet at my grandmas house and idk if it even works anymore) i lived in a hole in the wall (it was epic) and we made a church of egg. We liked to bully my cousin by removing his perms and making it so he couldn’t open doors and I removed the pressure plate in his house trapping him inside. There was a trial for me and I dug out of the courtroom. Our second world I took up mass deforestation. I made a huge sheep farm and made so many beds for no reason. We weren’t even blast mining at all. I just felt like it. I built an among us on my other cousins house and dug a tunnel so I should steal her shit. I dug a huge hole with only stone tools. We had the beach house and another church (which looked really cool I did some texturing on it) and a dock and several farms. We played on that one longer than the first, far longer. However we never really progressed past stone and occasionally iron tools.

This current world we’ve progressed so much more. Partially because I got off my high-horse when it comes to keep inventory. We all play on fucking mobile so like we were casuals anyways. We have enchants, a multi-level house, several builds (complete and forever incomplete we don’t talk abt that one), the mob farm, good stuff. We’ve played for far longer and have gotten into numerous shenanigans. We have villagers and the house and builds look better than our old ones (i don’t build i build like the “when you let the miner build” meme my sister builds things pretty I just get stuff). There’s more history. So much that I don’t even want to try and get into it all.

ace trappola — i remember thinking he was definitely one of the heartthrobs from otome games. his pose when i first saw him made me think, “he likes to egg people’s houses and steal his friends’ snacks and hit on girls.” i still don’t like him obv.

floyd leech — i took one look at him and jade and said, “he’s the better twin.” he was honestly comedic relief to me, but i remember getting so happy when i got or groovified new floyd cards.

jade leech — i kinda fluctuated with jade cause on one hand, he’s really pretty and is def a sebastian michaelis kinnie. which is hypothetically everything i would want. on the other hand, he’s literally sm worse than floyd..
