This edit is basically a DuckTales version of one of the “BETTER” memes.

This is also a headcanon of mine but it could be considered canon especially when you take May and Bradford’s interaction in “The Last Adventure” into account.

May: “So did we do good?”

Bradford: “I needed Webby to come willingly, not as a prisoner. Now, I’ll never find the last Missing Mystery! So, no, you didn’t “do good”. Your efforts are as flawed as your grammar.”

It just makes sense to me that that would be one of the first things they’d help the girls with.

❣️ - What are their love languages?

Both are very supportive and affirmative of one another. If one of the two is in the flunk, the other is always there with a kind word and a shoulder to cry on.

They are also physically affectionate. Hand holding, cuddling, small kisses, etc.

They say that bickering is also their love language. They know where to draw the line and when that line is crossed. This way they let the emotions and frustrations out without having overblown, big fights often, something that is important as they are both hot-heads so those tend to get ugly.

🤡 - What’s something dumb they’re embarrassed about?

To this day, Donald gets flustered about their second date and how he handled it.

One time, Daisy was going to a formal historical ball and got Donald to go with her too. The theme was the 1870s. So she made costumes for them, proud to show off her bustle dress and have him wear the top hat...only to realize the bass was the 1770s.

🧳 - What countries have they been to?

After years of adventuring with Scrooge, Donald lost count. Daisy has also been travelling quite a bit for her business and they had their own trip after The Last Adventure, so even she is not certain at this point.

🗺️ - What languages do they speak?

Donald speaks Italian, Greek, and Spanish, he is fluent in ASL and knows a few phrases from a few more languages he picked while travelling and when he was in the navy.

Daisy is fluent in French, speaks some German and Italian and knows bits of Croatian and similar southern Slavic languages because she learned it from a roommate in college.

💘 - What do they find attractive about their partner?

Daisy loves Donald's eyes and his smile. She is also attracted to his caring and protective nature. But what truly won her over was how honest and genuine he is and how good he is with kids.

Donald loves Daisy's hair, whether she has it up in a bun or spilling over her shoulder. One makes her look like an assertive, confident badass she is and the other like an angel and he is fine with both. He is also attracted to her assertive and confident nature.

💖 - How and how often do they try to impress their partner? How and how often do their partner?

Donald was trying a lot early on in their relationship which would then lead to some blunders. He felt like Daisy was out of his league so he was trying to compensate.

Daisy less so because she didn't want a relationship where she had to actively work to impress someone, she wanted to be liked for who she is.

Soon, Donald realized he doesn't have to try to impress Daisy because she was already impressed, she likes him, so he stopped trying too hard and Daisy actually only liked him more after that.

They do still try to impress each other in small ways or, sometimes, during adventures or trips. For example, Donald will make a special dinner or Daisy will dress up extra nice, but they know they don't have to do these things all the time because they love each other.

Or sometimes, Donald will effortlessly climb a wall and pull Daisy up to watch the sunset, all while grinning confidently and Daisy will show off her fluency in French while ordering at the restaurant. The small moments when they show off and the other is looking at them, completely in love and thoroughly impressed.

I understand that DuckTales is about family and the crew wasn’t devoted to ships except for Scroldie, Fendra, and Donaisy. Yet there are several non canon/fanon ships within the fandom.

It’s no secret that I am 100% Weblena trash. Heck, I made a list of reasons why they could be shipped and be considered canon. You can check it out if you scroll through my content, you’ll be able to find it. I already talked about this over there but I wanted to make its own post.

Now, regarding Weblena, I think the crew had the mindset: “Okay, we’ll have them act like girlfriends but we won’t actually call them girlfriends.”

In the finale, Lena says to Webby, “Besides, you’ve already got sisters”, referring to herself and Violet. Moments later, Webby says to Lena that May and June are her sisters.

This had to be the crew’s way of doing what Disney asked of them, making it “clear” that Webby and Lena see each other as sisters, when in all honesty, I don’t think that’s what their relationship was building up to. The crew then subtly retracts the statement/idea that they see each other as sisters. Because now that Webby has May and June, she realizes the way she cares about them isn’t the same way she cares about Lena.

Bottom line, I am fully convinced that Weblena was meant to be canon/endgame.
