Scrooge McDuck's Easter Party - April Fool's Day and Autism Day - Scrooge McDuck's Duck Friends, Family and Rivals - Duck comics and Duckverse

Once again, I wish everyone a belated Happy Easter as well as a Happy April Fool's Day and a Happy Autism Day and Month! I know I didn't make it in time to do it and post it, because I had other things to do, but I certainly did a drawing related to the previous one (Donald's nephews' birthday), only with grown-up characters from Duck comics. Yes, since Easter almost fell on April Fool's Day, Donald and his cousin Fethry burst into Scrooge's party and douse him with a bucket of water, which of course Scrooge doesn't like. And Fethry Duck is definitely autistic (like me lol) who likes to try all kinds of things. And yes, a cake, cookies, and Easter eggs (mostly chocolate eggs) were prepared for the party. I didn't manage to draw all the characters that I love and that I know from Donald Duck comics (either from American or from European, especially Italian comics) because not all characters would fit in one drawing, and I apologize for that. Here are Donald Duck, Daisy Duck, Scrooge McDuck, Flintheart Glomgold, John D. Rockerduck, Jeeves (Lusky), Miss Emily Quackfaster (Scrooge's secretary), Albert Quackmore Battista (Scrooge's butler), Gyro Gearloose, Brigitta MacBridge, Goldie O' Gilt (Glittering Goldie), Gideon McDuck (Scrooge's brother), Dickie Duck, Gladstone Gander, Ludwig von Drake and Abner Whitewater Duck.

Matilda: The kids would go with her, but they were too sleepy, so she had to left them with me a little.

Quackmore: Alright. So, what she had to buy in the supermarket to have to go out suddenly?

Matilda: Uh... Apples! Just apples!

Quackmore: Apples? Why she doesn't called me? I could buy some in the way to home! She didn't had to get out of here so suddenly like that!

Matilda: She could call you, but... eh... she forgot it!

Quackmore: And why she needs it so much? If she waited me, she could go with the car!

Della and Donald: Papa!

Quackmore: Hi sweeties!

Della: Papa! Mama is pwegnant!

Could you please describe the Dad Donald AU? I’m interested in this.

WHEN I TELL YOU I JUMPED OFF MY SEAT,,

No one usually asks about my AUs so this was a surprise!

Now, at first I was a bit confused because,, “Dad Donald AU” is very generic, so my first reaction was “WHICH ONE” because I have around,, 10? AUs? I think? So yeah!

But then I thought that maybe you meant the “Dad Donald AU” Series from AO3 because my fic is in that series! So to explain really quickly, that series will just be a sort of collection of all the fics where Donald is a dad, to either the triplets or Lena or both! Or even April, May and June! My usual theory about Donald being Lena’s dad is either her being adopted by him or her being his actual, biological child!

I have a couple of AUs (by a couple I mean dozen) and I will make art and/or fics about all of them, so do not worry about that!

Now, the main theme is Magica using Donald’s DNA to create Lena, because let’s be real here, no way she could create Lena from her shadow for one simple reason!

Here is an illustrated guide :)

And also Lena is more similar to Donald than the triplets are, so I like to headcanon that Donald is her biological father most of the time!

BACK ON TRACK-

The Dad Donald AUs are many, and I would love to talk about them, but since that would take forever, I’ll just make you guys a list and you can ask me about the ones you find more interesting! I think I’ll start writing snippets of them as well!

The biological Dad ones are around,, 6? Or so? Then there’s just the ones where he takes care of Lena or straight up adopts her, and of course, takes care of the triplets! In special cases, also the girls and/or Gosalyn!

- The Ducks (fluffy AU where Donald lives at Quackmore institute, currently making fanart for it)

- Stuck on the Moon (Donald gets stuck instead of Della, except Lena is with him, so he raises her on the moon)

- In the Depths (Where Donald gets stuck into the ocean by saving Della from the Spear, and Lena is semi-raised by Gladstone while she tries to find her dad)

- Undercover PK (Donald raises Lena but has to disappear because of FOWL, Lena spends her time with Gladstone at McDuck manor- the others don’t know about Lena and Donald, it’s a long story)

- Singer AU (Of course, I had to do it. He’s a singer named Misfortune and adopts Lena, who, obviously, becomes his Number one fan)

- Magic AU! (Where the triplets have magic and Donald teaches them how to use their powers, Lena tags along from the very start because she’s also interested in magic)

- Adoption AU (Where Donald sees homeless Lena and after the third or fourth time meeting her, decides to adopt her. She becomes the triplets’ older sister!)

- His girls (Daughters au! Donald is Lena’s biological father, but he’s also adopted April, May and June! And a baby Shamrock he just rescued from FOWL!)

- Golden Luck (Where Louie inherits Gladstone’s luck, but he doesn’t let that stop him- Donald is their parent, so Louie uses his luck to help him out)

- College buddies (Drake and Donald are college buddies and when Drake decides to adopt a girl, Donald helps him out, since he already raised April May and June and has adopted Lena already!)

I think that’s most of them? Let me know which ones you find more interesting and I’ll do a in depth description! Maybe even add some concept art or snippets/comics! :D

The Pros and Cons of the DuckTales Series Finale (Spoilers!)

So I watched the 90-part finale of DuckTales, “The Last Adventure”, back in March of last year and I do gotta say, it was indeed a spectacular ending to the most beloved reboot series and to me, it does play out more like a TV movie than a special. Which is why I made a pros and cons list about the finale.

Warning: Spoilers for those who hasn’t either finished the series or hasn’t watched it yet.

PROS

The three part finale actually did managed to wrap up almost every story arcs and mysteries that the third season had to put out.

We actually got an appearance of Daisy’s nieces in the form of clones by FOWL. May and June are really interesting characters in their own rights.

The fact that Webby confirmed as a clone/ daughter of Scrooge McDuck instead of being the granddaughter of Mrs. Beakley. Plus her true name is also April McDuck.

Ludwig von Drake is alive and the reason why he didn’t pass away is because he said that “he didn’t have the time.”

The fight scenes are really well animated.

Seeing Darkwing Duck and Gizmoduck fighting against Steelbeak is really outstanding.

Some of the comedic-parts of the special are really funny, like when Magica turned Bradford Buzzard into an actual bird.

We got to see all of the characters throughout the series in either cameos or just plain background silhouettes.

Manny the Headless Man-Horse is actually a gargoyle who is voiced by Keith David.

It’s really sweet to see Donald and Daisy adopt May and June as their own kids.

The end credits scene is really beautiful to watch.

CONS

We didn’t get to see what happened to Hortense and Quackmore Duck, the parents of Donald and Della Duck.

The whereabouts of Huey, Dewey, and Louie’s father is still unknown.

The Terrafirmians from the episode, “Terror of the Terrafirmians” didn’t make an appearance in the finale.

With the exception of that melon in Moonvasion, we still didn’t get a Mickey Mouse cameo.

Negaduck didn’t appear in the finale.

Donald Duck: He lived half of his childhood on an ordinary christian farm, but then Scrooge took him along with Della

He spent the rest of his life in the palace studying royal life (manners, etiquette and so on)

At the age 26, Della was stollen. The kidnappers could not be traced (by the standards of the Middle Ages), but fortunately Della was pregnant and they had to stop for her to give birth

When Della gave birth, Scrooge's army surrounded Flintheart's army (yeah, he will be kidnapper, sor for the spoiler)

While everyone was busy fighting, Donald infiltrated the Della. He gave her his clothes to make her look like an ordinary commoner and helped her hide the eggs so they wouldn't get hurt. Don himself changed into Della's dress and pretended to be her so that she could escape to the palace

Bonus: As you understand — Hortense is a queen, and Quackmore is a commoner. Scrooge became king when they died. Matilda in the "heart of silence", she and Von Drake opened the "second capital" and it became the "capital of silence", "heart" is a second name that scientists prefer

Jose Carioca: The assassin is a robber, owns magic. Scrooge hired him to find Donald.

His family owned magic, but was killed by the townspeople.

Bonus: For those who want to see Zica and Zeca. They are trained in the secret temple by Ari.

Panchito Pistoles: Matador, part-time mariachi (maybe has a little magic)

He carries with him: his father's sword, grandfather's guitar, and his mother's sombrero (who sewed it herself)

He was hired by Della to save Donald

Now about the plot:

One day, princess Della Duck was kidnapped by the terrible Flintheart Glomgold, the king of thieves.

Her family was in despair, no one knew where she was, expect Flint himself

But he didn't know that Della was pregnant, so when she gave birth, they had stop

King uncle Scrooge took advantage of this and immediately attacked their hiding place. Only he didn't foresee one thing: how will Della be able to escape with the eggs?

But the answer found itself

During the battle, her twin brother Donald Duck climbed into Della's bedroom. He helped her escape

Donald dressed his sister in Christian clothes, hid the eggs and sent her to Grandma Duck's farm. They're safe now. Only Donald realized that if Flintholt saw Della missing, he would become angry and possibly kill someone from his family

So he put on Della's cute dress and prerended to be her

When Scrooge realised what Donald had done, he was already furious. But it was too late, Donald had taken too far

Then Scrooge decided to take desperate measures. And Della, too.

Scrooge called to court the most cunning of the most cunning, the most dexterous of the dexterous and the meanest of the mean — Jose Carioca

And Della called the brave of the brave, the loud of the loud, the sweet of the sweet and the kind of the kind — Panchito Gonzalez Morales

It will be an adventure of a thief and hero who will become more than allies. Friends? Amigos? Or more?

And will the princess boy open his heart or let the pain inside kill him further?

You know what I need, is a fic or a piece of media or something with Matilda McDuck meeting Ludwig Von Drake and them being taken with each other. I've been going over a lot of Duck family trees lately, and there are some versions where the two are actually married and Ludwig is Donald and Della's uncle. Of course, that's not counting when the comics say Ludwig is Quackmore's brother, but the entire family tree is honestly a bit confusing anyway.

Scrooge McDuck and his sisters at their parents' graveyard.

Although I'm already late, I'm definitely posting this on the occasion of All Souls' Day, that is, Remembrance Day, which honors the memory of deceased persons at the beginning of November. Yes, a lot of people died this year, both famous and unknown, and I don't have enough time to pay tribute to all of them, certainly eternal glory to them and may they rest in peace. Amen.

I did a redraw from last year where Scrooge mourns his parents (more about this there: https://www.tumblr.com/ducktoonsfanart/678109418403086336/i-miss-you-mcpapa-and-mcmama-scrooge-mcduck ), but I tweaked my style a bit and added his sisters, Matilda and Hortense who mourn their parents Fergus McDuck and Downy McDuck (née O' Drake). Yes buried at the McDuck Clan family castle in Scotland. Otherwise drawn as if they were living in the time of the 1920s era when Scrooge reached his greatest wealth and when he still had a good relationship with his sisters before he fell out with them. I definitely took inspiration from Don Rosa comics and his collection called "The Life and Times of Scrooge McDuck". The parents of Scrooge, Fergus and Downy look down from another world (probably from heaven) on their children and are glad for what they have achieved in their lives. Scrooge achieved his fortune, Matilda married scientist Ludwig von Drake and Hortense married Quackmore of the famous Duck family. However, it is sad that they are no longer in this world and will be missed by their children, until their children reach a very old age and go to them in the other world. But it depends on the Creator what will happen.

Yes, I drew them wearing black clothes, because black clothes are usually worn at funerals and when visiting a cemetery.

All in all, may their souls rest in peace as well as all the people who died from the beginning of November last year until now. Eternal glory to them and peace to their souls! Rest in peace! Amen.

An AU what Hortense and Quackmore had three kids, the twins Donald Duck and Della Duck and Drake Mallard Duck (who's something like two or three years younger than them). They used to call themselves as "3D".

When they became orphans, they went to live with their uncle Scrooge. They learned how to adventure and have success with it.

Drake begun as DW when he has 15 years old to make his biggest dream come true, and when he made mistakes, a young duck dressed a cape and with a uniform in blue and red helped/saved him. When they really introduced themselves, they started to work together, but never knowing who is under the other's mask.

They stopped with it when Della disappeared. Donald left the mansion with the eggs and his houseboat to never talk again with Scrooge, and Drake followed his brother. Having to take care of three babies and cure the broken feelings about the happened, Duck Avenger/Paperinik and Darkwing Duck disappeared as Della, nobody never knew where they went or what really happened. The brothers share the care of the babies while one works and the other is unemployed (especially Donald).

This family tree is mine and Kight Maiden's version of the Donald Duck family tree

Now let me explain somethings about our tree

Ok first off it dose have Sir Roast Sir swamphole Sir stuft seafoam malcolm "matey" Sir Quackly and Sir Eider McDuck and Bo'sn are in the tree but there timeline is a little confusing

And Quagmire is still Dirty Dingus Brother But there wasn't room and we might make a separate tree for the McDucks starting with Dirty Dingus and go back frome there

Second here's all the characters and there birth year (and explanation why we choose it)

Huey Dewey and Louie: 2006 cuz it's set in 2017 and 11 years before 2017 is 2006

Donald and Della: 1981 because they're 36

The boys dad: because why not make him a year older then della

Daisy: same reason with the boys's dad . Why make not make her a year younger

Hortenes: we made it to where downy had her after she was cursed so that's why she is a lot younger than Scrooge

Quackmore: mainly because I like him being young then Hortenes because you don't really see that alot

Matilda: we liked her being the youngest out of the siblings

Scrooge: since you seen him in a comic when he was a kid and the comic took place in 1877 we just went ahead and used that and made his birth year 1867 and said he was 10 in that comic

Goldie: we like the idea of Goldie being born in that year and how we make it to where she is technically immortal and she was cursed and encased in gold and after she freed herself from the gold the curse was never broken and and she got an amulet that made her stop aging completely (or whatever was the cause of her immortality in the show)

Dawson: when she was a baby she was encased in gold with her mom and after Goldie got out of the gold she couldn't get her daughter out of it so she had to leave her that's why she's technically was over 100 years old (obviously not her real name but we think it fits her)

Dickies dad: we just like it for him

Dickie: we just like that year for her because we wanted to make her technically an adult

Ludwig: the sole reason we made him born that year is because of what gyro said in the final episode

Daphne: we don't really have a reason besides wanting her and her brothers be close in age

Goostave: he just seemed like he would be older that them

Gladstone: we just wanted to make him a year younger than the twins because he seems like he would be

Eider: we wanted to make him and Quackmore Irish twins (which means they were within 12 months of each other)

Lulubelle: we just like the idea of her being two years younger than her husband

Abner/Whitewater: we may or may not wanted him to be an accident

Mary: we just like the idea of her being six years younger than Abner

Fethry: we just like the of him being the second youngest cousin

Dungan: we just thought it was a good year

Gloria: we just like her being older and Fethry would have had a crush on her when he was younger

Elvira: we just felt like it fit

Humperdinck: just felt like it fit

Casey: we liked him being 9 years older than his sister

Gretchen: we liked her being 5 years younger than her husband

Fanny: we just liked it

Luke: same as his wife

Gus:it just seemed right to make him the oldest out of the cousins

Cuthbert: we just like it

Kildare:we liked him being the youngest out of the cousins

Furgus/Old Scotty: we wanted him to be in between

Jake: we just wanted him to be the middle child also side note we wanted him to get called "high society Jack " as a nickname so he wouldn't be the only brother with out a nickname

Angus: he just seemed like he would be the oldest brother

Molly: we just felt like it was a good age specifically for the time she was in

Dirty Dingus: we just like the age for him

Downy O'Drake: we just liked her ages as the youngest of the O' Drake sisters

Rumpus: we wanted him to be older than Scrooge because he is the son of his dad and his mom's oldest sister

Missy: we just wanted her to be fairly older than Downy

Griseldis : we just felt it was a good age for her being the second oldest sister

Vera: we liked it was her being the second youngest sister but still being a little older then downy

Duckson: we like the age for him

Jenny/Jee: we like her age being this

Clinton: we like like being this age for him and we wanted to make him be a lot older than you would think because he was cursed by a treasure that he stumbled upon

Gertrude: we made her an Amazonian woman so we wanted to make it to where she lived a long time

Cornelius: we like it and we felt like it fit pretty well with the timeline

Erasmus: he is one of cornelius's brother in a few things we liked him and decided on him being the oldest brother

Johannes: we like him being the second oldest brother

Jeanne: we based her off Jeanne de clisson and we made her johannes' wife because he was technically murdered by pirates and we felt like that age fit her

Cornelia's Father: we just like the age

Cornelia: we wanted to make her a lot older than what she technically is in that one comic that she was shown in because we wanted to make her one of the first women to be considered a doctor but she worked in duckburg when it first was made

Long story short it's just a lot of we felt like it fit and immortality curses.

Seeing the newest promo got me thinking...

There are four empty chairs here, right?

Hortense and Quackmore would obviously take two of these chairs, but what about the other ones?

Just imagine, Goldie sitting in one of the chairs and meeting Scrooge’s family. And I’m not sure on the status of Matilda’s spouse (if she even has one), but I like to think Ludwig Von Drake is there two. A family having a grand time with each other...
