day -checks notes- 13 without imogen temult, i fear i am losing my sense of direction. i wonder these wastelands under a red moon, searching for some way to gain my bearings however i know there shall not be any reprieve for more days to come. i shall persevere if only to see the one with lavender locks once more, in nine days time. i will continue to report any findings i come across worth noting. for now i will do so sparingly, as to conserve energy.

Oh my fucking gods. Christ.
That was some powerhouse acting from Laura Bailey. Which is expected, but still hits me so hard every time. She's amazing.

I seem to be always searching for something to lose myself in completely. … It's like we say in seminary - beyond measure.

I have loved you my whole life. I've never loved anyone but you. You were my great, consuming love. And most people don't get one of those. I did. I have no regrets.

Trying to go to bed (work tomorrow, ew) but I have got to do something with Bailey, Gavin, and Bette going on a Girls' Night* adventure. Almost definitely post Space Road Trip, maybe after the Little Mercies arc. When Bailey moves to LA? I gotta get that part of the timeline untangled and nailed down. And figure out where Laney and Katie are during all that
*Gavin is not a girl but will be a sulky pain in the ass if he is not included in Girls Night Activities like pub crawls, bar fights, light arson, and gossip

Celebration. A time when friends and family come together in a breathtakingly beautiful setting to rejoice in one of life’s milestones: a wedding, a birthday, an anniversary. Collected in this book are dozens of the most recent, most extraordinary celebrations created by the unparalleled event planner Preston Bailey. These are events shaped by Bailey’s use of myriad elements, especially his extraordinary work with flowers, but also including architecture, set design, furniture making, lighting and art installations, and even tableware and textile design. In the first half of this visually spectacular book, arranged thematically to give hundreds of design possibilities to the reader, Bailey lays out the key elements to successful celebrations, including the importance of making a single dramatic statement, the elements of table settings, the impact of the ceremony space, the magic of tents, and the power of details. In the second half of the book, Bailey presents the best of his most recent work, exceptional parties shown in their entirety. The reader will find innumerable inspirations for planning a breathtaking, unforgettable event.

Usually, Bailey is good about their balance and footing. Usually, they're graceful, even with a thousand pairs of eyes on them. Not like now, where there's relatively no one else around, and they're just delivering a DoorDash. Of course, they trip over an uneven piece of sidewalk and almost go tumbling, only to be caught on their way toward eating pavement, drink in their hands sloshing on their savior. They look at the other with wide, grateful eyes, half-clinging to the other's appendages as if afraid they still might fall. "My god, thank you so much for saving my life!"
