Okay, look, I know so many brats believe that S3 is going to flop because Penelope and Colin don't have any chemistry and there not going to top the others blah blah blah

But for the love of fucking god, don't belittle the fact that one of the most popular romance series to ever debut on Streaming TV is going to have a fat girl heroine who's fatness isn't something that needs fixing and that she herself is making actual steps to better her apperance by picking out her own outfits and doing up her hair the way she likes it.

And that her male love interest actually fucking likes that she's fat and plain and actively encourages her to go for her goals????

Love.

Watched Queen Charlotte 3 days ago and I can't stop thinking about how it portrayed love in its purest form. We met Charlotte and George for the first time back in Bridgerton and when they were going through one of their bad days. Back then I used to think that George lost his marbles much later into the marriage and Charlotte just had to step up and put up with it. It made watching Queen Charlotte so much more beautiful cause she has always loved him for who he really was.

Charlotte and George had their good days and their bad ones but they always had each other and that's love. I once read that love is a choice. Every morning you have a choice to just wake up and leave. Or you could stay. When you choose to stay, you've made your choice. You've chosen to love.

I would once again like to rant about the ending and how well written it was. I still remember myself sitting on my bed at 3 am crying but with a smile on my face cause that was the happiest and saddest ending one could get. I love how they switched between their old and younger selves, how Charlotte knew how to deal with George when was on his bad days through all those years. That's love. At its finest form. And i love them for it. Love isn't a fairy tale with a happily ever after. Love is hard. Love is full of sacrifices. But it is the most beautiful thing in the world.

Having watched Queen Charlotte (just a few times. On repeat. Not keeping count at all) gives me some hopes for Bridgerton season 3 for Polin. Such as:

1. We could see sexy scenes before the middle of the season. Season 1 started in episode 5 (too late in my opinion) and season 2….well we all know about season 2. Plus Shonda said it’s sexy so she better be bringing it. But the fact that QC had a sex scene by the end of the second episode gave me hope that we could see a Polin love scene earlier than we would expect.

2. Fewer side plots. I think this won’t actually happen because Bridgerton has built this up so much but one can hope.

3. Time hopping. I don’t think that the whole series will go back and forth but I’m praying for a few Polin flashbacks. Particularly when they met. Would it help if we said please?

4. An actual Bridgerton wedding. Simon and Daphnes wedding didn’t deliver for me and season 2….well we know what happened in season 2.

5. Yelling. QC did not hold back in the tension and fighting and I’m for it. We’ve seen Penelope angry before but I don’t think we’ve seen her completely unhinged. And I want to see it. From her and from Colin.
