Hey y'all, weird question time! Asthma related this time:
Can the smell of mildew/damp/whatever that is be an asthma trigger? A pipe broke in my house earlier this week, and it is fixed but now anytime I go near the room it was in it's triggering an asthma attack, and the door to that room is like right next to the kitchen so that's a fairly large problem.
We set up an air purifier and a dehumidifier in the room, but is there anything else we should be doing? how do you get rid of mildew?
What blends does Puukko put in her pipe... I wonder...
Back in her pirate days, it was pretty much just whatever got plundered from other ships! She didn't do much experimenting aside from trying whatever she got her paws on. These days, living in the lonely mountains, she tries to get dried or fresh herbs and unique blends from wherever her travels take her or from the odd traveling salesman. Usually, she'll mix up a big batch to have on hand for a while. Something like 3 parts tobacco, 1 part lavender buds, a pinch of rose petal, and 1/2 part mint for a little tingle on the back. But what she has on hand and the ratio she uses varies.
Ahhh I'm so glad people are taking an interest in her again lately, makes me all sorts of giddy when someone asks me about her! Thanks for the ask! ❤️
alright having mostly played thru rain world (havent finished gourmand bc i'm not emotionally ready to be a slugpup parent, havent finished hunter and saint yet bc i suck at this game) im going to weigh in on the slugcat fur argument. i think they all have fur, however, i think its constantly way too humid on account of the daily torrential downpours for it to ever be fur-like in appearance, and is instead has more of a gel-like feel to it. like if the structure of the fur and whatever skin oils are produced reacted with water/humidity to form an insulating coat. saint, however, doesn't get the daily downpours and humidity is much lower, so it's fur is fluffed, which helps insulate against the cold. basically all of them are wet cats all the time, except saint bc climate change.
what an extremely awesome and convenient time to be unable to heat my house (temps finally dropping below 25°F, ran out of propane, no money for more propane)
