8. “I want to throw up” or “I need to throw up”?
Ooh, I feel like "I want to throw up" has potential for bad stomach aches, since the sickie might be thinking that vomiting will make them feel better, but it's gotta be "need to" for me! The urgency, the confirmation of sickie being nauseated, the knowledge that there's no way they're getting through this without emptying their churning stomach 🔥
12. After vomiting, character is hungry and ready to fill their empty gut again or doesn’t want to even smell food for the next couple of days?
While I can see being hungry and ready to eat again as a cute trope for certain characters, I have to go with the second option, not wanting to even smell food afterwards, but... I think the sweet spot, for me, lies somewhere in the middle; Sickie hasn't vomited for a while now, and their stomach is so thoroughly empty that the first pangs of hunger have started setting in, but Sickie still doesn't trust themself not to gag if they try to eat, so they curl up and endure the (hungry? nauseated?) gurgles coming from their aching tummy...
17. Sick feeling tummy from a stuffed belly or nausea from not eating for a while?
Always nausea from hunger for me!!! "Stuffing" is a topic that makes me kind of uncomfortable, but even if it didn't, the hunger trope would still win. Especially if the sickie puts off eating even longer because their stomach doesn't feel right, only to feel even worse after another couple of hours. And maybe eventually, someone notices and realises that's happened, and brings Sickie something easy to digest, encouraging them to at least take a few bites despite the disgusted look on their face.

Keeps waking up in the middle of the night, not eating much again (think I even saw him throw up a couple times :(, and had to help him calm down a bunch lately...
And! The muttering at his desk! The markers! Hid them so it can't do that! Cause it always stays up too long when it does! And ends up freaking itself out more, too! No good! At all! He ALMOST found my hiding place earlier, so I moved them again! Not letting it get them!
Does seem tired lately, like he's been saying! Even when he was still sleeping, he did! Seems hurt, too, but! No clue why... Worried. Scared. Want him to be okay :(

11) hmmm. for my IBS-D id say that it’s not all fun and games, people love to make jokes about IBS-D even if they don’t have it. i am currently medicated for it but still get flare ups that can look like this: running to the bathroom every five minutes, horrible stomach pain, throwing up from pain, having to use anal creams because you get sores/wounds from going to the bathroom too much and wiping often, not being able to eat whatever you want without immense pain. so yeah poop jokes funny haha but in reality? not fun lol. and in general for chronic pain: i am not being lazy. i am in pain. constantly. leave me alone💀

Ooh, this one is hard. My automatic response was towards squeezing too hard, because maybe the intention was to hug the sickie and comfort them, but it all goes wrong, which is lovely... But I've actually written a scenario with the second trope so I guess my preference leans towards accidentally knocking!

Bug!!! We never used the term "stomach flu" where I grew up, and when I first read it in a book, I was suuuuper confused about how you could have a flu (which in my mind involves sneezing, coughing, etc.) in your stomach. And to this day, the phrase still irks me just a bit lol so it's "bug" all the way for me.
