so what are my thoughts about this song? This whole album is underrated! the songs are beautiful and you could feel what Landon was going thru in this relationship! The vocals are beautiful like always, I wish more people would listen to this band! I don't see many people talk about The Plot in You, even though they do have over 2 million listeners on Spotify, I still don't see many TPY fans, and its sad to see them not being recognize for their music! They always leave me with tears and crying in the shower! This song is a prime example of how amazing this band is! Landon opens up about his struggle with his relationship with (unknown). The relationship brought many mental health struggles, him feeling used and feeling like the relationship was toxic. This song brings a lot of memories of my previous relationship of 4yrs, the relationship left me feeling used, damaged, and feeling like I was never going to be good enough for anyone. I wish now that I could've left that relationship when he first cheated, but love blinded me and I stayed...only to cheat on me 6xs in total. I was 18 and he was 22. Being new to love I didn't know what I was doing, all I knew is that I wanted to be with him. fast pass Aug 2021 we broke up and would go back and fourth on texting, only to be Feb 2022 when I finally decided to cut ties with him and said goodbye. The mental damage he gave me will always be scars that have healed, but the marks will always be there. This song is beautiful to its core the instrumental done by Ethan Yoder (bass) Josh Lewis Childress (guitars) Michael Cooper (drums, percussion) flows beautifully with the lyrics and you could just scream "FACE ME!" from the top of your lungs! and if you relate to the lyrics, then this is the song for you! I give this song a 9/10 tears.

My Most Anticipated Books of 2021!
There’s a lot of exciting new releases coming this year, and while this list is pretty far from complete*, it does paint a fairly good picture of what 2021 releases have my interest piqued... so far.
1. Later by Stephen King – Until further notice, just assume my most anticipated book of any year is whatever King has coming out.
2. My Heart is a Chainsaw by Stephen Graham Jones – I really enjoyed both The Only Good Indians and Night of the Mannequins.
3. Once Upon a Time in Hollywood by Quentin Tarantino – “Quentin Tarantino’s long-awaited first work of fiction – at once hilarious, delicious, and brutal – is the always surprising, sometimes shocking new novel based on his Academy Award-winning film” Enough said.
4. A Bright Ray of Darkness by Ethan Hawke – I’ve always been a fan of Hawke’s, and this sounds right up my alley: “A bracing meditation on fame and celebrity, and the redemptive, healing power of art; a portrait of the ravages of disappointment and divorce; a poignant consideration of the rites of fatherhood and manhood; a novel soaked in rage and sex, longing and despair; and a passionate love letter to the world of theater, A Bright Ray of Darkness showcases Ethan Hawke's gifts as a novelist as never before.”
5. Project Hail Mary by Andy Weir – I wasn’t wild about Artemis, but I love me some sci-fi, and this sounds like it fits the bill.
6. The Ghost Variations: One Hundred Stories by Kevin Brockmeier – 100. Ghost. Stories. Yes. Please.
7. Mary Jane by Jessica Anya Blau – They had me at Almost Famous meets Daisy Jones and the Six. This might be higher if I was more familiar with the author.
8. Nightbitch by Rachel Yoder – Its film adaptation is already in the works with Amy Adams starring. That’s enough for me.
9. Survive the Night by Riley Sager – It almost didn’t make the list because I was underwhelmed by the only Sager I’ve read so far, Home Before Dark, but the ‘90s setting and plot that feels straight out of an ‘80s slasher flick have me very hopeful.
10. Klara and the Sun by Kazuo Ishiguro – I haven’t read anything from him, but I’ve heard nothing but good things, he’s won a Nobel and I really liked the film adaptation of Never Let Me Go.
*There are surely at least a dozen that I’ll go crazy over that haven’t even been announced yet. And then there’s Gillian Flynn’s Hamlet for Hogarth Shakespeare, which is a very exciting idea, but sadly doesn’t have a release date/artwork. Plus, there’s Silvia Moreno-Garcia’s Velvet is the Night and the re-release of her Certain Dark Things, which should really be at 2 & 3 respectively after the powerhouse that was Mexican Gothic, but I decided not to include them since they don’t have artwork yet. Finally, I almost included the Star Wars: The High Republic books on here, but I’m currently undecided if I want to dive into those potentially extremely deep waters.

Young child ran over by pickup near Cheney Lake
An 18 month old girl was ran over by a small pickup Saturday just north of Cheney Lake. According to the Reno County Sheriff’s Office the incident occurred in the 20500 block of South Riverview Drive, just off Parallel Road, where some vehicles were being moved at a residence, one by a 16 year old friend of Hadleigh Haynes’ father who did not see Hadleigh behind the truck and struck her at the rear tire. The father, Ethan Haynes, and another person heard someone yelling, as did the driver, who immediately stopped. Her father placed Hadleigh in his car and set off for Hutchinson Regional Medical Center... they met up with EMS and deputies on Yoder Road about a mile south of US 50 and after evaluation she was taken to Wesley Medical Center in Wichita. The accident remains under investigation.

New story in Politics from Time: Republican Candidate Kris Kobach Echoes Trump on the Birthright Citizenship Issue
(TOPEKA, Kan.) — Republican candidate Kris Kobach echoed President Donald Trump’s assertion that Trump can deny U.S. citizenship to babies born to parents living in the country illegally, intensifying a focus on immigration in the final days of a close Kansas governor’s race.
Kobach, the Kansas secretary of state, is Trump’s biggest political ally in the state and has advised the White House on homeland security issues. He also has made pursuing tough state measures against illegal immigration a cornerstone of his campaign for governor.
But in backing Trump on whether the president can end birthright citizenship without an amendment to the U.S. Constitution, Kobach broke with some fellow Republicans, including U.S House Speaker Paul Ryan. Like Trump, Kobach contradicted legal experts who see the issue as long-settled and clear under the Constitution’s 14th Amendment.
“That’s one of the interesting things about birthright citizenship. There are many people who are under the misimpression that the 14th Amendment commands it,” Kobach said during a Fox News television interview . “It doesn’t.”
He added that Congress could end birthright citizenship or, “The president could do it through a regulation.”
Kobach is in a toss-up race with Democrat Laura Kelly, a veteran state senator from Topeka. She has argued that combating illegal immigration requires comprehensive legislation from Congress and that Kobach’s get-tough approach would damage the state’s economy, particularly in western Kansas and when it comes to agriculture.
Kelly’s campaign declined Wednesday to comment on Kobach’s comments. But Ethan Corson, the Kansas Democratic Party’s executive director said: “As Republicans like Paul Ryan and legal scholars from across the political spectrum have stated, the president obviously has no authority to alter the Constitution by executive order.”
Patrick Miller, a University of Kansas political scientist, said Kobach needs his conservative base to turn out to defeat Kelly. He said raising birthright citizenship as an issue after it’s remained relatively neglected represents “a fresher angle” on immigration issues.
“If you want to kick life into some kind of advertising, whether you’re selling a candidate or toothpaste, having a fresh angle is sometimes good to reignite interest and engagement,” Miller said. “Kobach also likes to push the envelope on a lot of things.”
The 14th Amendment begins: “All persons born or naturalized in the United States, and subject to the jurisdiction thereof, are citizens of the United States and of the State wherein they reside.”
Kobach, an attorney and former law school professor, argued Wednesday on “Fox & Friends” that immigrants living in the country illegally are not under U.S. jurisdiction, allowing Trump or Congress to deny their U.S-born children automatic citizenship. But a move in line with that thinking would likely spark a legal challenge.
States ratified the 14th Amendment after the Civil War to secure U.S. citizenship for newly freed black slaves. It later was used to guarantee citizenship to all babies born on U.S. soil after court challenges, including one that led to an 1898 decision by the U.S. Supreme Court.
Trump said in an interview Tuesday that he wants to end birthright citizenship and could do so with an executive order. Ryan responded in a radio interview, saying: “Well you obviously cannot do that.” That drew a tweeted rebuke from the president.
Trump’s comments also were an issue in a debate Tuesday between Republican Rep. Kevin Yoder and Democratic challenger Sharice Davids in Kansas’ 3rd Congressional District, where immigration has been a major issue. Trump, who narrowly lost the Kansas City-area district in 2016, has endorsed Yoder, the chairman of a House subcommittee on homeland security.
During the debate, neither candidate said directly whether they would support an effort by Congress to end birthright citizenship, though Davids said an executive order by Trump would “violate our Constitution.”
When asked after the debate about ending birthright citizenship, Yoder told reporters that if the U.S. secured its borders adequately, “That’s not an issue then.”
