Writing hangover day
It's a real thing. It's been long enough that I forgot the how-to-avoid bit. Thirteen hours of mad typing, even sitting in a comfy chair at a proper height, is as physically taxing (and hardly physically recommended, for the average body) as it is mentally euphoria-inducing. So, reminders to self:
DRINK MORE
Tea and toilet breaks are not nearly enough movement. Add at least ten minutes of pacing around the flat to each one.
STRETCH YOUR SPINE even if you're sitting generally straight
If your hands and arms are so tired you're "stuttering" as you type, it was time to stop an hour ago.
When was the last time you looked into the middle distance?
DRINK MORE
You're not going to be able to sleep at the usual time if you haven't been expending the usual energy. And your brain will still be whirling.
When you do get to sleep, your leg muscles are going to React to having been kept flexed/contracted for hours and hours
You're going to feel slowed down and crunchy with lactic acid buildup in the muscles, in the morning, and probably headachy too.
Resist the urge to go back to bed, for it will make Monday morning even rougher than usual.

BTS’ “Yet To Come” Breaks Record For Biggest Spotify Debut By A Korean-Language Song
BTS had just made Spotify history.
On June 10, BTS made their highly-anticipated comeback with their anthology album “Proof” and its brand-new title track “Yet To Come (The Most Beautiful).” The album features three new songs - “Run BTS,” “For Youth,” and “Yet To Come” - alongside many of BTS’ past hits.
In the first day of the album’s release, all of the new tracks from “Proof” made high-ranking debuts on Spotify’s daily Global Top 200 chart, with many of the older songs featured on the album entering the chart as well.
Including BTS and Coldplay’s hit collab “My Universe,” BTS landed an impressive total of 28 different songs on the Global Top 200 for June 10.
Their new title track “Yet To Come” debuted at No.3 on the daily global chart after racking up 7,178,605 streams on just its first day - breaking BTS’s own record for the highest number of first-day streams of any Korean-language song released on Spotify.
Meanwhile, BTS’s new B-side “Run BTS” entered the chart at No.6, “For Youth” at No.11, and “Born Singer” at No.16.
As for BTS’ previously released tracks, “Dynamite” shot back up to No.47, followed by “Butter” at No.50, “My Universe” at No.68, “No More Dream” at No.69, “Boys With Luv (featuring Halsey) at No.85, “Boy In Luv at No.103, “N.O” at No.104, “I Need U” at No.108, “Life Goes On” at No.109, “Fake Love” at No.112, “Intro: Persona” at No.116, “Run” at No.119, “Blood Sweat & Tears” at No.123, “Danger” at No.128, “Spring Day at No.130, “Fire” at No.143, “On” at No.145, “DNA” at No.146, “Euphoria” at No.149, “Stay” at No.158, “Moon” at No.174, “Idol” at No.177, “Filter” at No.183, and “Intro: Singularity” at No.197

It was just another day in the year 2043. I got up at the sound of my blaring alarm, commanded my shower to turn on to my perfect temperature of 104 degree Fahrenheit, and allowed the steam to fill the tiled room until every mirror and smooth surface had a fine layer of mist. I stood there surrounded by water, letting everything melt away. My beauty products from yesterday, that stubborn layer of dead skin, the knots in my back, the soreness in my muscles, my emotions, my response-

My cell phone blared and echoed through the walls. A monotone female voice announced, “Call from Life Supporters of the Great state of Florida.”
I sighed before announcing, “Siri, do not answer. Please send call to voicemail.”
“Okay,” replied Siri in her deadpan voice.
I decided to finish my morning shower before worrying about the missed call. Probably just the call that reminds me to visit Dad this week, I thought.
In the United States, our healthcare system faced a major overhaul in 2032. This took place after the Southeast states finally surrendered in the second Civil War. The war broke out in 2024 after the presidential election led to another Republican loss. When the electoral college votes were counted, it was discovered that Donald Trump had lost his bid at the office again.
His entire campaign was slander and propaganda aimed towards the uneducated, the conservative nature, and the white supremacists. When it was announced the Joe Biden had won the election once again, a shot had rung out at his acceptance speech. In the same second, there was blood. A wounded leader. Screams of terror…. And cheers of euphoria.
Trump’s loss had been the final straw that brought out the most dangerous people of America and their overzealous use of weapons and armor. That act had liberated them from the social contract of order. Neighbors turned on each other. A war had begun in that single action.
States seceded from the United States in order to leave the “corrupt liberal nation.” Overnight, the whole country was at war. Anyone suspected of being a liberal in red states were being lynched in public squares. As for reds in blue states, they were being held captive in a variety of prisons. However, many were killed due to the ignorance and stubborn nature of the reds. When they were captured, they would cry out for Jesus and Donald Trump before committing suicide.
The war had raged for 5 years before the Southeast [the head of the Red Rebellion] finally surrendered. While the country came back together as the United States, there was still a lot of tension, and reintegrating the society was going to take time and effort from both parties.
In an effort to ease these tensions, a singular political party was created called the Purple Heart Party. Their mission was to bring together the two parties that had split the nation and to create a place for conversation, compromise, and healing.
This is the party that is still leading the United States with very few political parties emerging to compete.
In 2032, the United States had elected its first female president from the Purple Heart party - Dr. Elizabeth Carson. She was a deep-rooted American with ties to the country dating back to Jamestown. She and her family had lived through every nasty pothole in United States history, and she appealed to both the older generation [Gen X] as well as the young Gen Alpha that had revolutionized ideals in the country.
President Carson had implemented a test program for Universal Healthcare in America by passing a policy that would pay for any and all medical expenses from soldiers and veterans from the recent Civil War. To access this program, one simply had to show their military ID, whether it was a U.S. ID or a R.R. ID.
Due to the war, the American dollar was worth very little, so paying for these expenses were now based on merit and regrowing the economy.
This healthcare system has flourished and provided the United States with a way to rejuvenate their former economy and citizen programs to be beneficial for all.
One of these programs was called the Life Supporters program. During the war, a lot of AI bots were programmed to maintain a home and do various jobs necessary to keep society functioning, even if it was like a car missing three wheels. The healthcare bill funded jobs and programs that shifted the use of this AI to become full-time nurses to the people with long-term illnesses or in hospice care. This was to help alleviate the burden from all of the families faced with various forms of death.
This program and the success it brought was connected to the federally mandated and monitored banking system. Instead of the taxpayers filing their own taxes, all money was to pass through the federal bank accounts to be properly taxed before it could be redistributed to personal accounts. This is also how funding for many of the newly founded government programs was obtained - with various dying protests.
My father made the choice to transfer all of his assets into my name in an effort to lessen the government’s reach into his life, and now that he is in the Life Supporters program, it has turned into a positive thing. My account pays for his care, and he gets the care he needs.
He had preached to me that he had beaten this system, but sadly it has reached the point where the system may have beaten him.
The automated care had given me at least 10 more years with him, but his quality of life has been declining greatly, and he is at the point to where either it is inefficient to keep him alive in this new system… or he has requested it to end.
My heart sank. I hit the notification on my voicemail and held my breath. “Good morning, Mrs. Hudgins. We are calling to inform you that your father has asked to discuss his options with you as soon as possible. Our systems have noticed that his need for oxygen at 80% will soon be increased to the full 100% and we must evaluate his ability and need to remain in our care. We expect to see you soon. Sincerely, Charity”
So… it is time. Time to experience death in the new world order.
Before the war, death was common and unexpected… but accepted. Many welcomed death like an old friend while others may have had to meet death unexpectedly.
My childhood had only known death as a surprise. From my first pet… to my Papa… to my Mimi… to my MaMaw and Papaw… to my miscarriage. All of that was death that had to come on his own time. There was no rush.
The war had made death a force that needed to be managed… regulated… something to prepare… to chose. Today is that day my father has requested his death… and the AI cannot find a reason that his request should be dismissed anymore.
I dried myself off and got dressed in a blouse and jeans. I threw on my glasses and grabbed my car keys to race over to the Life Supporters center. It was this tall building full of rooms and beds and automated androids whose sole purpose was to support the dying and elderly. My mom was in a similar facility in Mississippi with my stepdad, but she has many more years left if she chooses. In these facilities, everything is clean and smells constantly like concentrated Lysol and bleach. You could hear the shuffling of the residents that can still walk, the beeps of the heart monitors, the hissing of air from oxygen tanks and respirators. At least once a week for the last 7 years, I have come here to visit my dad.

Trionfa la Svezia all’Eurovision Song Contest 2023.
A godersi la vittoria è Loreen con la canzone Tattoo, dominando nella classifica delle giurie. L'Italia ottiene un bellissimo quarto posto con Marco Mengoni e la sua Due vite. Per Loreen è la seconda vittoria dopo il successo con Euphoria nel 2012.
Per la finale è stato applicato un sistema di votazione misto. Hanno votato le giurie di esperti delle nazioni in gara e il loro voto ha avuto un peso del 49,7% sul totale, mentre il voto del pubblico ha inciso leggermente, ovvero per il 50,3%.
Le giurie e gli spettatori da casa hanno potuto votare per tutti i cantanti tranne che per il rappresentante del proprio Paese, (come detta la regola d'oro dell'Eurovision Song Contest). Il televoto è stato aperto al termine di tutte le esibizioni; ed è stato chiuso ufficialmente alle 23:20.

to all of those parents saying that disney has betrayed them by making such an inappropriate movie, disney animation studios did not create this film. pixar notoriously puts out films that are not just for kids. adults have been loving their work for years and pixar knows this. now, there is nothing wrong or inappropriate about the subject matter of turning red, but it’s also not targeted toward four year olds who are going to demand merch so they can storm disney world dressed as their favorite character. pixar movies are often coming of age stories and turning red is one of their most authentic ones. some parents are less focused on the subject matter and are angry about the depiction of a child daring to defy their parents. to them i say: one, you clearly don’t remember your own childhood accurately and two, what pixar movies have you been watching all these years?? nemo defied his father and wound up being kidnapped for it. remi defied his father and became a world famous chef. russell defied his elder and wound up being integral to carl’s survival. merida defied her mother and in doing so changed her kingdom for the better. riley stole her mom’s credit card, miguel lied to his entire family, luca snuck up to the surface, and there are probably other examples i’m forgetting. pixar has been doing this for years and if you have a problem with turning red then you have a problem with pixar not disney. you also have a problem with reality but i can tell you to avoid pixar films in the future easier than unpacking all of that right now.

104 days until consultation!
I've been cycling rapidly through feeling super excited, super nervous, dissociated or surreal, absolute euphoria, and verge-of-throwing-up on the daily since I've scheduled it.
I've been obsessing over trying to find ever single little thing I can about it. I feel like I can't possibly get enough information and it burns me out so fast. There probably isn't an article or video or post or advice thread I haven't seen.
I keep trying to mentally and emotionally process all the information and feelings as they come but also all at once. Part of my brain thinks I'll at least be somewhat mentally prepared when I go through the process and see the results (its not uncommon to faint or feel faint/nauseous at the first binder removal, shock is normal, brain will do what it wants. its electricity meat), but you can't process an experience you haven't gone through yet So I'm just cycling through the emotions and thoughts and trying to process them and talk to them as they come.
Consultation:
I called Turkle and Associates to schedule the consultation. The woman on the phone was very informative, and walked me through basically the whole pre-op process and what to expect from now until then and a basic run-down of some post-op stuff. They even gave me homework! Which was just videos about the surgery itself and more if what to expect.
It's going to be about $7200 (6600 for the surgery things, includes all the surgery stuff and post-op consults and the like, up to $400 fee for sending breast tissue from surgery to a lab for testing) for surgery, and I've built and been editing an amazon list of all the pre and post op stuff I'll need (if you dont have all the supplies, my list came out to about $275 including the soap they tell you to buy).
I've been looking over these at least a couple times a week for the past couple months. Obsessing I just want this to go as smoothly as possible.
Emotionally, I've been bouncing back and forth between feeling so so alone in this, and feeling so supported. It really is a lonely process especially when your immediate friend circle consists of mostly non-dysphoric people so it's difficult to feel understood in how heavy and important this is, the weight this has been holding down on me. I've never really been the person to showcase my processing, my constant pain or discomfort (in my social circle) and I feel like people judge that. But I'm also getting past caring about judgments at all. It's weird that I get to make this decision for myself and no one gets to tell me if its right or wrong. It's just my decision.
I have been thinking a lot recently about how I will be treated. The way the world treats me will be different, but I have people who, while supportive, still struggle with my pronouns and identity. How I will be treated differently among friends and family is a mild concern, but I'm not sure if i want them to treat me differently. I do, but I don't. There's too much nuance but thats how all of this is.
Just constant constant constant processing thinking obessing.

Unconventional Desire
As the many shocking factors that have been discussed in the series by now it should not be a show to watch with your parents. The show includes BDSM relationship but it is not trying to shock you with it, but show you who it involves. The new girl in town is named Jules (Hunter Schafer) and we are introduced to her by going on a date with a much older man. By the end we can clearly see that this will be the main plot to the show. Which is also another expanse of the bare-boned rawness Rue (Zendaya) warns us at the beginning of the episode.
