enhypen&hi: special season

a special season for the enha family, a couple of years lateromg there were like 58869 requests for an en-family scenario

! so by this time, i'm assuming that korea has fully demolished their 'korean age' thing !

[ BE:LIFT Lab's first group, ENHYPEN! ]

The video began with an introduction to Enhypen, as well as a roll call of the members.

[ ENHYPEN&Hi is back for a season with the kids! ]

[ Park Hajun / 9 years old ]

"Hajun is the oldest," Jungwon starts things off. "He's a calm kid, even as a baby."

Whenever they were describing a kid, the next scene cuts to a footage of said kid.

"He likes to make funny jokes," Jake smiled brightly.

[ Park Junhyeok / 7 years old ]

"Junhyeok is just like his dad-" Sunghoon used his hand to imitate a puppet talking.

"He's a bigg charmer," Jay looked really proud. "He loves meeting new people."

[ Sim Elli / 6 years old ]

"Elli is like a puppy, she's curious about everythingg," Della slightly stretched out the 'everything.' "Why this, how that- I'm glad the members could answer her most times."

"She's superr competitive," Sunoo said with wide eyes. "-and she loves sports, lots of different sports."

"Just like her dadda," Jake, Sunghoon, Della and Heeseung said at the same time.

[ Nishimura Mari / 5 years old ]

"Mari is a lot like her mother, she loves to daydream," Niki described.

"She might be a dancer like her parents," Sunoo and Jay said together.

[ Kim Daehwan / 4 years old ]

"Daehwan is cool as a cucumber," Heeseung used his hands to emphasise the child's calmness.

"In dramas, he's like the tsundere character," Jungwon giggled. "He seems a bit cold but he's actually a big softie."

[ Yang Seokwoo / 3 years old ]

"Seokwoo is so cute," Della chuckled. "He's really cheerful. Always giggling."

"His hyungs and noonas love to mess with him- he really is such a cutie," Niki grinned cheekily.

[ Lee Haewon / 2 years old ]

"Haewon is the youngest and the clingiest," Sunoo said softly. "She's a little delicate but has a very bright energy."

"She's like our princess," Heeseung's eyes sparkled.

[ How does EN-Family spend their days? ]

[ Who is the first to wake up? ]

Della's phone vibrated from beside her, waking both her and Jake, as they were sleeping in the same bed.

[ It's lights sleepers, DELLA and JAKE! ]

They stretched and let out a few groans before Jake took her phone to turn the alarm off.

"Good morning," he cuddled into her again.

"Good morning," Della mumbled against his neck.

[ ... ]

"Oh my God! We have filming today!" she immediately got up upon realisation. "I have to look extra productive. I have kids now!"

"Hello," Della greeted to a self camera in a bathroom. "It's six in the morning and I need to get ready before my kids wake up," she was then seen doing her morning routine.

"I just like to be ready when everyone wakes up- it's a bit of a 'me time.'"

"Jungwon is starting to wake up, and Niki and Daehwan are still asleep," Jake entered the bathroom and wrapped his arms around her. "Engenes, good morning," he lazily waved to the camera.

[ Good morning! ]

"You wanna help me make breakfast?"

"Let's do it."

"We all share a room. Jay and Sunoo. Jungwon, Jake and Niki. Me and Heeseung-hyung. We were so used to it during our early idol years that we just stayed thay way," Sunghoon chuckled. "Della always used to switch every day."

"Hajun and Junhyeok, Mari and Elli share a room. Seokwoo, Daehwan and Haewon still sleeps with one of us."

"Good morning," Jay woke up with a smile.

"Good morning dad-dad," Seokwoo finally said after stretching and tossing for a bit.

[ SEOKWOO is awake! ]

"Had a good sleep?" Seokwoo replied with a small nod. "Hey, don't go back to sleep, bud," Jay chuckled.

"I'm not sleeping!" he raised his head abruptly, making Jay laugh and kiss kiss his temple.

[ Cutie SEOKWOO is still sleepy 💤 ]

"Good morning, sunshine!" Sunghoon immediately went to Sunoo's bed upon entering the room. "How's my baby?"

[ SUNGHOON came to say good morning ]

"What? What?" Sunoo looked at him with furrowed eyebrows

"Not you! Haewonie!" he slapped the younger's shoulder.

[ The members still act like teenagers sometimes ]

Haewon giggled at the sight before laying on top of Sunsun. The editors placed cute bouncy noises for the background sound.

"Good morning abeoji, appaji," she laid face down so her voice was very muffled.

"What about dad?!" Jay called out.

[ Dad wants some too ]

"Good morning dad-dad!" Sunsun giggled at their daughter's cuteness.

"Good morning abeoji, appaji!" Seokwoo joined.

[ The EN-Family has to constantly repeat their greetings ]

"Hello," Jungwon said to his self-camera. "So the oldest two are awake and I'm going to supervise them while they get ready."

"We let Junhyeok and Hajun do most things themselves but we're always there just in case they need help or forget something," Jungwon explained. "The oldest girls are still very reliant but they always try to do lots of things themselves."

"Good morning," Jungwon knocked before entering Hajun and Junhyeok's room. "Oh you're already in uniform?"

[ Primary school students, HAJUN and JUNHYEOK! ]

"Good morning appa," the two almost said in unison. Jungwon turned the camera towards them. "Good morning," they waved to the audience.

"Have you brushed your teeth?" they shook their head. "Washed your face?" yet again. "Sunscreen?" and again. "Okay then let's go!"

"Elli, Junhyeok and Hajun are already in primary school. Like their mom, they wanted to join an international school," Sunoo said. "Haewon is still in preschool and everyone else goes to kindergarten."

"Mamaa!" Mari ran to her mother in the kitchen. She was already dressed.

[ Kindergartener MARI with uneven hair? ]

"Yes, sweetie?" Della immediately picked up the child.

"I want pigtails but papa doesn't know how," Mari touched her messily executed hair. "And- and Ellie wants a braid but papa also cannot."

[ My hair! ]

"Della-ya," Heeseung showed up with an awkward chuckle. Beside him was a badly-executed-braided Elli. "I need help."

[ Me too, eomma! ]

"Oh my God," Della couldn't help but laugh. "My poor babies."

"Why? Why?" Jay and Jake stood beside her to see what happened. "What the?! Hyung!"

[ Babies need a do-over ]

"I've taught you so many times!" Della walked over to the older. "Come on, I'll teach you again. Can you guys handle it?"

"Yes ma'am!"

Turns out the two had a hard time coordinating without Della. So Jay sent the Aussie to check on one missing member and child.

[ Our Tom & Jerry, 2J ]

"Oh damn! Our babies!" he rushed back to his room. "Niki-ya! Nathan! Double N let's get up, let's go."

"Engenes, hello," Niki waved at his self-camera. He was awake and cleaned up this time. "Daehwan and I woke up a bit late but we managed. Right, Daehwanie?"

[ Maknae and DAEHWAN are up! ]

「はい！」 Daehwan moved to stand beside his otouchan. [hai = yes]

[ A multilingual family ]

「おはようと言ってください」 Niki pointed to the camera. [ohayouto ittekudasai = please say good morning]

「おはよう...」 Daehwan looked to his otouchan for help. [ohayou = good morning...]

"Engenes," Niki giggled.

"Engenes," Daehwan waved with a sweet smile.

[ ENGENES ❤️ ]

"Okay! Is everyone ready?!" Jungwon grabbed the keys.

"Yess!" all the kids said in unison.

"Let's go to the car! Say goodbye!" Sunghoon and Jungwon will be driving two separate cars. One to the primary school and one to the preschool-kindergarten.

"Goodbye otousan," "Goodbye papa!" "Goodbye appaji!" "Goodbye pops," "Goodbye mom," "Goodbye otouchan!" "Goodbye mama," "Goodbye dad-dad!" "Goodbye mommy!" "Goodbye dadda!" "Goodbye abeoji," "Goodbye appa!" "Goodbye dad," the kids' voices just kept overlapping on top of each other's while they gave all their parents a hug and their mom an additional kiss on the cheek.

[ 😵‍💫😵‍💫😵‍💫 ]

"Be good!" Heeseung called out.

"Yess!" they all made their way to the cars.

"Drive safe, darlings," Della gave Sungwon a brief kiss. "See you in the company."

"Bye guys! Drive safe!"

"Noo!" a few screams were heard in the En-house.

[ ??? ]

"Haewon-ahh!" the members all sounded sad that Haewon lost her balance while playing 'Red Light, Green Light.'

[ Maknae lost her balance ]

"Come here," Hajun outstretched his hand for Haewon to hold and indicate that she's in 'prison.'

"We'll get you out, Luce!" Junhyeok announced.

[ We'll save you! ]

"Ya, if you keep talking, you might lose your balance," Elli mumbled loudly.

"You didn't complain when mom and fathers talked," these two are always bickering.

"Did they lose their balance?"

"Did I lose my balance?"

"Hyung, noona- we're in the middle of a game," Seokwoo reminded.

[ Ctrl C, Ctrl V ] [ Ctrl C, Ctrl V ] [ Ctrl C, Ctrl V ]

"Everyone! We're gonna order pizza for dinner, agree?" Jay grabbed everyone's attention.

"I want cheese pizza!" "I want tomato!" "Cheese! Cheese! Cheese!" as usual, it's always chaotic.

[ Chaos ]

"Hold up, hold up- two large cheese pizzas, two large margarita, one hawaiian and some chicken wings, agree?!" Jay listed.

"Pepperoni?" Mari asked.

"Ah sorry- one large margarita and a pepperoni, agree?" Jay corrected.

[ Dad is confused ]

"Yess!"

"Is ordering food difficult?" a PD asked.

"Not really. We just give them three or so options and they can choose," Niki answered. "We don't give them a lot of choices and that makes it easier on both ends."

"잘 먹겠습니다!" everyone said before diving into their food. Though Della, Sunoo and Jake were busily feeding the youngest three. [jal meokkesseubnida = thank you for the food]

"Lala, ahh," and Niki tried to help out by feeding his wife. The boys like to alter between feeding themselves and their children, but Della always prefers to eat after her kid is done.

[ Eomma needs to eat too ]

"Eomma, ahh," Hajun copied.

"Thank you, my love."

what are your favorite parts of origins? like characters interactions idk anything !!

Everythingg.

What i loved about origins is that it felt a lot like the anime cowboy bebop in the sense that it was a very character focused nonlinear sort of feel (but def way more lighthearted lets be clear). Like what shone about it is that there were these characters who had things about them, like o!wilbur and dying, and oRanboo and home/connecting, o!tommy with flying, o!phil with grieving, o!scott and o!captain with losing home (falling from the sky) and there was a ton of improv that went into that but at the same time its mostly a nonlinear sitcom style plot. Like yeah o!wilbur's wings ache but he's died 1000 times in the nether and he's a pathetic wet rag and o!tommy's trying to learn how to fly but he becomes a hitman for the day and everyone's just patting him on the head like he's endearing and a laugh track's playing behind him. And o!phil's grief has driven him to take over the world but everyone secretly thinks he's nice and he's failing and oh god he's making friends even though he doesn't want to and oh god all this empathy and niceness is hard he needs a book on this and yet hes making friends, but he's supposed to be evil, oh gosh foiled again. Like i could go on forever, it was just a really lovely place and it allowed for a lot of fan creation on top of it too. It had so much potential esp with a lot of the new people they added (like o!freddie god we had that for far too short).

ok so I am going to be a bit emo rn bc I am very sad and literally im done and hate everything sm. Soooooo I feel alone and like no one cares what I do bc im useless and I get treated like shit and I feel like I don't exist and im disconnected from my body and im just watching myself do things. And I cannot function and feel like im on the constant verge of tears I just want to seclude myself from everythingg and for once in my life I have nothing to say, I just want to go silent to everyone. there’s got to be some way to fix the olympics. maybe this is US bias? but i feel like there have been a TON of shady hosts the last couple years. This year and Sochi being the most notable, but even when the host city/country doesn’t have a huge sketchy ongoing black mark on their human rights record it seems to bring out the worst in host cities- London and Rio at the very least had big sweeps to get rid of homeless ppl in the area ahead of the games.

like. no one makes money off of hosting the olympics. so unless you can REALLY afford it (the us isn’t going broke over the olympics, a handful of others are in the same boat but it’s not necessarily a popular decision even if you can technically afford it) the main motivation to apply to host is that you want people to come and have a good time and decide that you’re a pretty neat place.

and like. one the brighter side, it’s because you want to up tourism. that’s a big factor for the arresting/removing homeless people thing. but a lot of the time it’s because there are reasons NOT to think of your country in great terms.

and i feel like a lot of these problems would be fixed! if we could get together in the supposed nature of the games! and like. idk make an international fund with donations from countries that don’t have to worry about their finances taking a huge dive from it so that hosting costs don’t fall so completely on a single country (who are then motivated to make a good showing both in the games and in hospitality At Any Cost). Get together an international advisory think tank that can make sure info on what’s worked best in the past gets shared to prospective hosts. hell, even adjusting the rules so that corporations can sponsor the games as a whole so long as they had safeguards against undue influence! i know there’s been some talk about adjusting the amateur only rules so that athletes can like. have money.

like i adore the olympics but if we can’t make them actually tangibly benefit hosts and athletes (vs rn where it kind of feels like everyone except the handful of athletes well known enough for big sponsorships is working “for exposure”) we shouldn’t have them

#olympics #like it feels unreasonable that the cost falls so entirely on one place when everyone comes #especially when the host is somewhere like korea or brazil that may be powerful but isn't like. a Superpower #(london isn't on the list on non superpowers bc british empire. im still counting it)#it IS possible! to do it and not go broke/have everythingg rot!#bangs my slc still uses all the olympic facilities but one drum!#thats WHY we keep applying to host again lol. bc it WAS a benefit!#TONS of athletes in beijing rn train here lots of the stuff is in use for tourism #and a lot of the rest was converted for less recreational local use. the olympic village is university housing #like at the very least places that manage that should be on some kind of board #so you can like. share the plans of how you built an ice rink that can be converted into a stadium for your local sports team or whatever #note what effect that building had on your local real estate economy. stuff like taht #ink post #beijing 2022

Sonic: Well, he doesn't really moved in or anything. He only comes here for Ganondorf's League of Villains Club or whatever. Not only that, but Hades actually brought him from hell and everything.

Ren: Now that's freaky.

Ryuji: I know, right. I'm guessing this was after Cloud killed him in that Advent Child movie I watched a while back.

Makoto: I can't believe Hades would go as far as to bring someone back from the dead....

Sonic: Tell me about it, but there is another reason why he did this besides joining some villains club.

Futuba: For real!?

Ryuji: Hey!

Sonic: Yep. You guys remember that whole World of Light fiasco we all been involved in, right?

Ren: Yeah. Those were some really crazy times for all of us back then.....

Ryuji: But what does that have to do with anything?

Sonic: Well, you guys remember we all had to split into two groups to clear out all of the remaining forces of Galeem and Dharkon.

Morgana: Oh yeah, I remember now. We were all assigned to deal with the rest of Dhakron's mess.

Sonic: That's right. While you guys did that, me and the other half of the group face off against Galeem on our own. It was hard work, but eventually, Sephiroth came in at the right time to slice that thing in half, causing an army of Master Hands to disappear.

Ren: Huh. That's.... actually pretty cool of him to do that for everyone.

Sonic: Yeeahh, but.....

Ren: Oh god. What did he do next?

Sonic: Nothing too major.....He just attacked us is all.

Makoto: Why?

Sonic: I don't even know myself, Queen. He just flew in and bodied almost all of us without breaking a sweat. Greninja, Pit, Rosalina, Samus, Bayonetta....

Ren: WITCH MOMMY!?

Sonic: Yup! Especially her! And I haven't even gotten to the part of what he did to my poor pops!

Morgana: You're talking about Mario, right? What did he do to him?

Sonic: Wellllllll......

Haru: That's wonderful news. I sure do hope his presence doesn't cause Cloud Senpai too much trouble in the future.

Sonic: Same. The poor guy look like he's been stressed about it for days.

Makoto: While we're on the topic of Sephiroth, I think it's best for all of us that we stay clear from him for now.

Ren: I agree with Makoto on this one. If.the guy's that strong enough to beat half of everyone in this mansion, I stutter to think what would it be like if any fight him. So let's not get in his way, alright?

Ryuji: Right.

Ann: Roger.

Yusuke: Very well.

Haru: Okay.

Morgana: Good enough for me.

Makoto: That means you too, Futuba.

Futuba: Why me specifically?

Ren: Because we all know how much of a fangirl you are in almost everythingg video game related. Sephiroth looks like the type of guy who is dead serious on everything and I don't my baby sister to get hurt because of him.

Futuba: Rennnnnnnn I'm not a baby!

Ren: You are one to me damnit.

Futuba: ಠಗಠ

Ren: Okay. Okay. I kid lol. But seriously though, just try and stay away from him for me, alright?

Futuba: 'Aye, 'Aye, Captain!

Yusuke: I apologise to ask you this so suddenly, Sonic, but do you still have the picture you showed us not too long ago?

Sonic: The one Fatal Strike one? Yeah, I still got it. Why? You need it for something?

Yusuke: Yes. I must make a painting of this immediately!

Ryuji: Dude, seriously? Why?

Yusuke: I am not too sure about the reasons myself, but.... the dark, gloomy atmosphere of the picture alone has already peaked my attention. And it's telling me to create a masterpiece of it immediately.

Futuba: Of course you would be interested in making something like that, Inari.....

Ann: Could we just focus on our Christmas Shopping plans instead please? I don't even wanna think about that photo.

Haru: Me too. It makes me sad every time I see it.

Yusuke: Very well. I suppose I can try painting it in memory. Or at least, I hope I can....

guys the new queens of drag race season thirteen!! i looove soo many, delani, symone—the looks she's gonna serve!! i'm so ready to be served mama, gottmik—hurray for the trans representation!! she's so talented and that pastel pin-up look was flawless!! definitely my favorite look from the bunch, giving me violet chachki vibes, olivia lux—i'm already obsessed with her!! she has such a magnetic and charming aurea, her smile is b e a u t i f u l and i definitely see her being the little light that brightens every room she walks in, i can't wait to see what she does!! Kiznaiver Review

I just finished the Kiznaiver anime and I am not okay, so I decided to do a review with my opinions and thoughts on it, so beware the spoilers and rants on different aspects of it ;w;

Spoiler Free Overview ~

Before actually going into the spoilers, I wanted to leave a little spoiler free plot overview for those interested but not convinced on watching it. Basically Kiznaiver is about 7 teenagers connected by an experiment to their wounds and pain, making the pain of one, that of the others. The anime follows the story of these teenagers and their friendship with the mystery of the experiment and the future of it in their city, making it emotional and addictive to watch.

Although there is a lot more to say, if you don’t want to be spoiled on the anime do not click on read more but if you don’t mind, go ahead <33

Plot

So as mentioned above, the anime consists on the union of 7 characters (representing the 7 sins) through the Kizna system/experiment which bonds them through their pain so if one gets hurt, the other six will feel the pain too. Each of the teenagers choose represents one of the deadly sins, which I will go into further in my description of each character, and they all have to work together throughout the summer in order to free themselves from their Kizna. Everything is running smoothly and they all become friends until some of them begin falling in love with others and it all kind of crumbles. In the final episodes we discover that the experiments have been running for a while and in the past, they were done to kids but it failed miserably as some gathered too much pain from the others while others didn’t, making them feel numb and emotionless. Our main character, Katsuhira was originally connected to the first kizna experiment but became numb to any sort of pain due to another kid (now leading the project?) named Noriko taking all the pain. In the end, Katsuhira is able to convince Noriko to give back his pain and those from the other kids involved in the experiment through a f r i e n d s h i p speech and the whole group ends up becoming much closer, with Katsuhira and Noriko confessing their feelings to each other.

Characters

okay, so I will admit I kind of may have fallen in love with some of the characters from this anime and I am going to list them in order of which I liked the most explaining a bit on who they are and what I believe they must be protected. I also decided to place a song that reminds me of them in order for you to gather a feel of who they are in my opinion.

Katsuhira Agata (Kacchon)

Rise - Ashes Remain

So this gif pretty much describes his attitude and face throughout the whole series (except the two times he actually cries). His sin is “sloth” but referred in the anime as “the imbecile”. This is due to his apathetic behavior to everything happening around him due to the lack of emotions he has. He is precious and even as a kid he has always been looking for those around him (even in his kind of oblivious way) and I love how even after going through everythingg he went through, he is able to forgive Noriko and even loves her with all her faults and imperfections <33.

Nico Niiyama

Hello Kitty - Avril Lavigne

She is one of those characters you either love or hate, and I absolutely looove Nico! She represents the sin of greed I believe due to her wanting of attention and reassurance. I don't know if its because I see myself in her craziness or just her whole attitude throughout the series but Nico is in top place with Kacchon for my favorite characters. She is much more than the I-am-cute-love-me character as we advance through the series we began seeing her need to find friends in those surrounding her and how desperate she tries to fit into this “eccentric girl” stereotype to fit in (if that makes any sense). I also loved how she was one of the first to come back and unite the group after their Kiznas were released even though she was hurting over Tenga, which I thought was really brave and a bit underrated, thanks for coming to my ted talk.

Yoshiharu Hisomu

Highway to Hell - AC/DC

So hear me out, Hisomu is a bit of a weirdo but through the small things he did and said he was able to win me over. Hisomu represents the sin of lust as he is a masochist and finds pleasure over the pain inflicted upon himself. I was a bit skeptical over his character as he appeared on the third episode unlike the others but he grew on me. Not only do I l o v e his character design but I think he has a personal growth over acquiring friends. He is close to Kacchon and never “abandons” him or leaves after all the others decide to part their own ways. Yeah, he may be a bit apathetic and unconscious towards the situations surrounding the others but I think in his heart he is actually a really good friend and sappy as it sounds, he cares deeply about the others and their suffering ;w;

Chidori Takashiro

Camouflage - Selena Gomez

Chidori is our tsundere-ish character. She represents the sin of envy as she is always second best when it comes to her unrequited love towards Kacchon. I really like her character and I feel bad for her as she often throughout the anime feels things very deeply and through Kacchon’s apathetic attitude, she mostly ends up hurt.I enjoyed her reactions as I know in the situations they face, I would definitely react similarly and she is very lovable overall.

Tsuguhito Yuta

Someone you Like - The Girl and the Dreamcatcher

Yuta is a classical popular kid with a soft side character. He represents the sin of gluttony as when he was little he used to eat a lot thus was seen as the fat kid and becomes kind of obsessed with his appearance after the fact. He may seem superficial at first but he is very caring and notices a lot of things others take for granted (like being able to be there for Maki even though she is a tough nut to crack). Also being a fellow cancer according to the wikia he went up my list :3. That being said I felt his character was all about Maki and he never really shined if there wasn’t any Maki story line involve which was kind of sad as I thought he had a lot of potential, but I still love him <33

Noriko Sonozaki

Never Enough - Loren Allred

Noriko is a weird character to me, as in some moments I really like her while in others I don’t really understand her. She has undergone a lot through her childhood due to experiencing the pain of her friends altogether and the constant fear of being left alone and not being understood even though Kacchon often reassures her of this but whatever. She may seem kind of like a psychopath and cold at the beginning but as we learn about her past I guess her behavior is kind of understandable but honestly I prefer the kid Sonozaki version which is adorableee. I like her relationship with Kacchon however and how they are able to grow from each other through their connection.

Honoka Maki

I Found - Amber Run

Maki and Tenga are my least favorite from the group but I don’t totally dislike them, I just don’t connect with he way they act most of the time. Maki represents the sin of pride as she often acts as if she is above everyone and everything going on around her placing a barrier between her and the other Kiznaivers. She has a rough past as she wrote a manga with her best friend Ruru and through their friendship feelings began developing. Ruru had a terminal illness and as Maki was afraid of getting hurt decided to cut all ties with her, which brings her to be the coldhearted person she is. Throughout the series she often rejects the other Kiznaivers refusing to call them friends inserts dramatic eye-roll until at the end she realizes its inevitable and accepts letting people in slowly.

Hajime Tenga

Counting Stars - One Republic

Honestly Tenga is pretty neutral to me and I don’t have much an opinion on his character. He represents the sin of Wrath as he often acts impulsively and resolves his issues through rage and anger acting with his fist rather than his head. He is quite loud and a bit obnoxious at times with his tough guy act but he means good. We don’t get much backstory on him other than he is afraid of dogs? which isn’t mentioned again after the second episode sooo… I mean he is a good character and has good intentions but I more often than not don’t understand his reactions and think he goes a bit over the top in most of them.

Ships

Although I know Kiznaiver isn’t an anime focused completely on the romance but rather a science-fiction/mystery kind of anime, I still had to mention the ships through the series starting from the one I like the most. Also note that some of them are non cannon so keep that in mind and note that this are my personal opinions ;w;

NicoxHisomu (non-cannon)

You can’t even understand HOW MUCH I WANTED THIS TO BE A THING. From the moment Hisomu appeared and had the first interaction with the group I wanted him and Nico to end together sooo badly. I don’t know if its because of their eccentric ways or how they are often looked upon as the weird ones from the group, but I always thought they would make such a cute couple! Even at the end when Nico is ranting on about Tenga, Hisomu is attentive to her and I honestly think their friendship is so pure and perfect ;w; I will be crying in the corner until this becomes a thing.

NorikoxKatsuhira (cannon)

Although I will forever be frustrated that NicoxHisomu didn’t end up together trigger please consider making a second season, I am actually really glad these two did! It was pretty obvious the two wouldd en up being cannon as the whole show premise basically concentrates in their relationship, and I am glad they did. I feel like both complement each other very well and stabilize one another through their feelings (or in this case, the lack of). I feel like both Katsuhira and Nori are very mature and overall I love their pairing as they both deserve all the happiness <33

ChidorixTenga (Cannon-ish?)

I really like this two together and I feel like through the finale we can kind of maybe say its cannon? I mean they never actually confessed their love to one another like Sonozaki and Kacchon (well, Tenga did), but Chidori kinda implied that she was starting to develop feelings? I totally feel like they work together as they level each other out by their protective mama bear attitude of Chidori and Tenga’s impulses leading to him being defensive of those he cares about. Also can we take a moment to appreciate their red aesthetic, like common they are adorable together.

MakixYuta (Cannon?)

This is also an odd pairing, as we see Yuta’s clear interest on Maki since episode 1 and where she only corresponds his feelings at the end of episode 12. Although they never truly became a couple I believe they both like each other so its kind of cannon? I like how they both have rough pasts and they help each other grow from them (cue to Yuta’s scene at the beach were he runs in the water although he may look like a fool) and they level the other out.

ChidorixKatsuhira (non-cannon)

The following two ships are ones I don’t like but I found important to mention as many people do ship them. I honestly can’t see this pair due to Katsuhira’s strong feelings towards Nori. I feel like he sees Chidori as her best friend and will never be able to see her as more than that. Chidori’s often explosive and overprotective character just doesn’t mash well with Kacchon’s laid back apathetic vibe, which is why I wouldn’t see this pairing working at all.

NicoxTenga (non-cannon)

I do not approve of this. I honestly can’t see this working and lets be honest Nico and Hisomu deserve each other so I am too blinded by that. I think their personalities wouldn’t work as Tenga is too aggressive and Nico much softer. I feel like Tenga is most of the times confused by her behavior or just doesn’t understand her eccentric behaviors which would definitely cause a problem if this were to be cannon. I can’t with this ship and if there is a season 2 I really hope this doesn’t become cannon otherwise ill just go cry myself in a corner.

To finish off this review on Kiznaiver, I would like to point out the things I like and the things I didn't like so much.

Liked…

- The characters is one of the things to really highlight from Kiznaiver. They are all so different but so lovable in their own ways and with their own faults which makes everything 10 times better.

- I haven’t been able to mention this before but I really liked the intro and outdo songs, I think they are catchy and represent quite well the anime.

- I adooored the character designs, specially Nico, Hisomu, Sonozaki and Katsuhira’s. I feel like the tones and designs of the characters with their little quirks really lets the audience gather who they are and why they are the way they are.

- I think the concept of the experiment and the characters being connected by their wounds and pain is very interesting! I dint know what to expect at first but as the story developed It really got me thinking what the Kizna system would look like in the real world.

Disliked…

- I feel like the character development could have been a little better for some of them? Specially Yuta, Tenga and Hisomu which even though we got to know, never really learned much about their past other than some random facts.

- The fact that Hisomu and Nico weren’t cannon

- Sometimes due to the small amount of time the creators had to create the episode, I feel like some things weren’t explained very clearly (like Sonozaki’s reasons to try committing suicide when she was young) but maybe its just me being dumb idkk

All in all, I really liked the anime and would definitely recommended to those who enjoy good characters and a little of science fiction as well as troublesome pasts. Remember this are just my opinions and feel free to ask me my opinions on anything related as well as I would love to hear all of yours :33
