and in part 2 of my delirium audio journey - i've finished my first song for her! being a singer/songwriter is a pretty big part of my offline life, and i've been wanting for a while to turn those skills in a more fandom direction, so here's the first of what might hopefully be a full sandman fan album! (at the very least i have too many ideas to fit into a single song, so others are in the works - this one is inspired by the first page of comic lore we get about her; that her real tragedy is being one of the oldest beings in the universe and yet never seen as more than the baby of the family)

And so that girl went on and on, her pieces came together wrong, she grew in spirals and the world began to fear her

I've seen our truth, I've seen our pain, I've seen our future

And so what happens now

I've found the cracks

We’re all a slave to what we lack

Each choice you make, you come undone

And still you laugh as if you've won

But all I’ve learned’s never worth anything at all

They just see little girl

Officially got word today that the new London model Cahusac fife is available to order!! Super exciting stuff. Our fife major has been working closely with a fife maker for the past couple months to design a more period-accurate instrument for RevWar reenacting… it’s still in Bb to accommodate the fact that most reenactors use Bb instruments but it’s structurally more authentic than the model F fife most prevalent in the hobby. Anyway, all this is to say I’m too excited about it to have all that many qualms with shelling out 200-something-bucks for a professional quality, made-to-order, historically accurate instrument that will improve my impression and last a lifetime. If any other musicians are interested in purchasing their own I’d gladly send along the info.

ngl at first when i saw krystal focus on her acting career, i thought she was no longer interested in music (which is understandable after all she's been through with sm ent). but seeing her sign with beasts and natives (or is it bana? idk which one is the name of the company) made me smile so big. especially when the only 'non-sm' song (i don't wanna love you) she released was with that same company ❤️

The release in september coincides with an exhibition in France - as part of a group exhibition titled 'Flux\Flow'. The magazine consist of 12 visual works and a cdr with soundworks by Les Horribles Travailleurs.

hearing techno curse in videos and hearing chris martin curse in songs have the same effect on me. ppl say "who cares that they cursed, tons of people do, it's nothing special" yeah but they usually dont so hearing it makes it seem more special in the context of who it comes from!! the Power they suddenly have when they curse is really funny jhdjdh. like yeah anyone could have said that but he said it, he cursed with very specific intent. for chris it's about sending a message, techno it's all for the bit 😌
