7 - Worst character death: Since I can't really think of one, I'll give my favorite character death - Irene's (she’s my favorite villain)

8 - This made me so happy you have no idea: Man, so many moments in the final season, though my favorites have to be Wendy performing a personality enchantment on Irene's old body and using it to take back her body, Erza telling Jellal to live, Lucy telling Brandish that being confused is a part of life, Natsu scolding Zeref for being a little whiny bitch, and the very final scene when Snow Fairy plays and Natsu and Lucy are meeting the others to start the 100 Year Quest.

9 - Saddest moment: Even though Makarov doesn't stay dead, I still weep so hard when he uses Fairy Law in the final season and dies. But a close second is Lucy breaking Aquarius' key to summon the Spirit Key.

10 - Favorite location: Fairy Tail's guildhall? I guess?

I really love Fairy Tail, I love its progression from “friendship is magic” to “my family gives me the strength to go on”, and there’s one scene that really stuck with me, really struck me to my core.

It’s in episode 319, “Compassion”. It’s right after Zeref killed Larcade in the middle of his and Natsu’s fight, and is declaring that his curse denied him any sort of happiness. It’s what Natsu said in response that really hit me.

“It’s not about being allowed to be happy.

Happiness is something you create.

That’s what a family is about.”

It really struck me, as a person who has lived through quite a lot of misery at the hands of those I considered friends and family, but also as someone who identifies as aroace, because yeah, I don’t love the same way others do, but I can still create my happiness in other ways. I don’t need sex and romance to be to be happy, I’ve got my own kind of happiness, a family of my own creation.

And it’s not just about love, either. This applies to aplatonic and loveless and low empathy individuals, too, because they also don’t feel the same kind of love as other people, some don’t love at all, but that doesn’t stop them from being happy. They create their own happiness with their own hands because they can.
