wouldnt it be sick if in Futures Rewritten Ultimate you have to awaken the primals (kinda like UWU) from Eden's Promise's memory crystals and if you dont then EP uses your party members to as vessel to summon them. and if you do awaken them then in the last phase when youre fighting some crazy Yuri Fusion Oracle of Light and Darkness Prime all the primals come back and do their own captain planet fusion into an overdesigned Eulogia monstrosity that smites the boss. or even your party members summons them as vessels to nuke the boss (because Ultimate LB spam has seen its course I think)
also this would be one last punchline re: the WoL's bad memory because they would be conflating the Primals with the Twelve and their combined form Eulogia

Actually not only is Ravana cool as shit but he's the first original primal (aka not based on a previous Final Fantasy summoned creature) of XIV! They fully made up a 20 feet beetle sword saint and i'm very happy they did!

*insane person voice*
Do you think the fact that primals are god like beings materialized by mortal desire that often doesn't reflect what they actually are and tempers people to become undyingly loyal to them to the point of insanity is a metaphor for the weaponization of religion and how often times a religion's lore is taken out of context and used as justification for bad things

“dance to the song of ringing steel!”
so in my wacky headcanon, Tristanne is having a Bad time during StB and when faced with Shinryu/Zenos, she decides to fight fire with fire. Taking a page from Ysayle, she summons Ravana (whom she has a History with) onto herself, fusing with the primal.
she wins, but when zenos decides to take the coward’s way out, she loses control and ravana takes over, looking for a stronger opponent.
cue Raubahn stepping and a in-game duty where you play as him trying to stop Tristanne’s rampage starting, with the royal menagerie gardens as the setting (and the music being a waltz arrangement of the stb theme)

shitpost warning. i wonder if there hasn't been a lot of ffxiv dragon-human romance since shiva and hraesvelgr because hraesvelgr managed to convince everyone the ultimate expression of dragon-human love is ~sacred vore.~ there were good times had by many pairs before but life is life, mortals gonna die, everyone knows this, the dragons kept things technically casual by dragon standards in that they don't take a lifelong mate but who's to say they feel less love? now whenever a human starts flirting with a dragon the dragon has to quietly think "are they into me for me or is this a little pervert that heard about grandpa's fetish?" (ysayle sneezing in the aetherial sea) and the human has to ask "is that really the relationship endgame for a dragon and human? it's not - it wasn't a metaphor?" and the dragon has to mumble something but it's awkward because word will get back to hraesvelgr if they say "actually eating you seems completely unecessary, i have a perfect memory and will remember you long after you're gone" and hraes will be pissy about it undermining his and shiva's consensual but weird, um, lifestyle (deathstyle?) choice, and it also sounds like they're trying to avoid commitment when it's really they're just not into eating people, yikes
way to ruin it for everyone, vore fetish broodfather
*hits post and crawls back under a rock*
