The idea for this story was born when I rewatched H50 3x20 for the first time in years, and because of my newfound love for Alan Ritchson I was like "what if Freddie lived?". Alan made Freddie's character more than just the one time character that appeared in one episode.

I hope to work in this AU more in the future, for now this is all my imps had to say about it. I wish to hold and protect Freddie and give him all he missed out on.

i'm gonna get shocked by a cattle prod for saying this but glenn's post-supermax character arc, as a prison hater, is so huge to me

i don't know if freddie planned it but the way glenn struggles to re-integrate, adopting a rat that reminds him of his time is solitary confinement, seriously considering not going back home cause he doesn't know if he'll have a life there, getting prickly and aggressive and insecure, the fucking notebook trying to determine if he's good, if he even deserves to be in people's lives anymore-

like, rehabilitation already sucks in real life, but after having your entire life literally ripped from under you, i can see why glenn would think this is as good as its gonna get

your heart is racing when you open your eyes, trying to adjust to the pitch black darkness. your chest rises and falls quickly and you gasp for air. your throat feels sore and the air exposes a damp spot along the collar of your shirt.

your hands fly to your mouth once you realize how loud the strained noises you're making must be, your fingers finding dampness on your cheeks.

as your brain catches up, you remember what cruel imagery your mind had forced you to watch that had made you like this. your hands reach out quickly, patting around the cold sheets until you find the warm body that's right where it's supposed to be.

only the body moves and, in your solitary struggle, you hadn't realized you'd woken mike up.

in the darkness, your eyes manage to make out his figure, sitting up alongside you, his hand the piece of him you managed to grab. he's grabbed you back, analyzing the situation, noticing how you've managed to catch some of your breath back.

"did i wake you up?" you ask hoarsely.

mike blinks back at you blankly before realizing you probably can't appreciate the attitude in his eyes. he ignores you completely, reaching for you in the dark, feeling the goosebumps on your arms. "are you okay?"

it's not the question that breaks you, but mike's face in front of yours; it sets off a piece of what had haunted you in your sleep - a horrid repetition of the injuries mike had sustained at freddy's - only in the version you'd seen, mike had been within an inch of his life, pleading for mercy.

you cry quietly at first, sounds so small mike can't distinguish them. then he feels wetness drip onto him and he holds you tight, which only makes you cry harder.

"shhh, it was just a nightmare, it's okay," mike says soothingly, hands desperately working to calm you down.

he doesn't know what your nightmare had been about, but he has an idea - especially when your hands find the spots on his skin where large scars litter.

mike hates seeing you cry. he hates it a thousand times more when it's because of him.

"i'm right here," mike promises. "i'm okay."

you nod into mike's shoulder, sobs finally tapering off into quiet gasps. mike holds you even after he's stopped feeling you shudder, kissing the salty residue right off your face.

"i dreamt-"

"you don't have to talk about it," mike says, shaking his head.

"it was bad, mike." your voice quivers, real fear making mike wish he could take everything you'd seen away.

he'd been lucky enough to have been unconscious for at least a portion of it. he'd been the one that had been hurt the most. if it had been him that was forced to watch something happen to you or to abby... he would've been worse.

so mike holds you even tighter, whispering affirmations that he's here and nothing is going to touch either of you. he swears it to himself, right then, that nothing ever will. he repeats it like a mantra as you let him pull you back under the covers and he lets you use him like a pillow.

all is really takes to calm you down is to feel mike beside you, alive and breathing. but mike won't ever let you get away with just that - he'll keep making sure you hear his voice until he's sure you're asleep, hoping his sweet promises will bring you even sweeter dreams.

Slashers With Dominant Male S/o On Valentines Day

Backstory: Takes place at a slashers asylum...but its valentines day

WARNINGS: WHOLESOME

You boredly sat at the table, your eyes closely slanted onto the plain white table, where multiple valentines cards were laid out right in front of you.

"Quiet! He noticed them!" Billy muttered to Stu, the ghost face killers intently watching with wide smiles on their faces. The other tables who were at the tables with the two scream killers had their attention to the table you sat at.

Norman bates was the first to speak up, "Do...you think he will like them?" Norman hummed out, his voice gentle but held no sense of shyness. "Of course he fucking likes them." Chucky aka Charles lee ray spoke up, ruffling his hand through his hair, he wasn't in his doll form currently, he took a drag of his cigarette which he had took from one of the nurses he murdered.

Bo Sinclair turned to his brother in annoyance, before speaking out to the rest of the killers, "Here comes the silent fuckers...----no offence." He mumbled the last part to Vincent who just stayed silent under his wax mask.

Both Jason Voorhes, and Michael Myers had finally arrived at the dinnng room , following after behind them was Thomas hewitt, with his sluggish and sleepy like movement.

All three of them had sat near [Name] With their eyes glued to the valentines cards directed to you, obviously they had already placed theirs there, so they could only wait.

"Thanks everyone." Your husky voice spoke up which was pleasing to everyone's ears, as they melted just by your words. The more demonic slashers had finally arrived, chains both on their neck and wrists were glowing a light blue color, it had restricted their powers.

Pinhead headed over to the table, curious about the silly cards which were in shapes of hearts, and gifted to you, he was pleasured with the panging jealousy inside his chest, which caused him a different sensation of pain: It greatly pleased him.

Freddy Kruger was muttered curses, while staring at pinheads--well pins. Freddy had resisted the urge to grab on of the pins and stick it into a guards eye...he has done that before, but he only ended up getting tackled and months in solitary for killing a guard. "Heyy~ Babee~ Did you read mine yet!" Freddy teasingly asked as his burnt features twisted up into a rigid smile.

"HEY- Freddy, why don't you take your burnt sausage dick and shove it up your ass!" Chucky cackled, while throwing a heart shaped chocolate at Freddy's head. "Say that again! Killer Carrot top! Once I get out of these shitty chains, guess whos dream I'm coming to??---YOURS BITCH!" Freddy insulted right back, but before he could say much more Hannibal had stopped their argument.

"Why don't you two, sit down, and let us enjoy our meals, I'm sure [Name] does not appreciate your tussle as he is trying to read the cards." Hannibal stated, while he stared down at his tasteless food.

Slowly you inhaled a deep breath, "What time...will we go?" You slowly asked, the asylum was getting boring fast, and you were ready to leave.

Pennywise had giggled on your words leaning down on the table, his eyes flashing gold as he suddenly slipped off his shackles once you had spoken. "Penny is always ready." The clown teased, ready to help the other slashers who had chains on.

Lifting up from your seat, you stared at the slashers at the other table, who were also standing.

It sounded like a swell plan...

He couldn't help but heave a sigh once again, his clawed fingers fidgeting with the tiny zipper on the 'disguise' Gregory and Vanessa had insisted he continue to wear during their ventures out into public.

It wasn't that the jacket was bad.

Just… the zipper pull was once more slowly raised and lowered before returning back to it's original position, his rounded ears twitching at the steady click of plastic zipper teeth …it paled in comparison to the marvelous wonder that had been his original chest compartment that had brought forth merriment and baked goods to so many.

He couldn't carry anything in there and it was awful.

Even if the alternative was still being just a head.

The endoskeleton that now carried that head of his was an older model cast off from some long defunct upgrade - now a wonderful bargain from back of a flea market. He supposed being a head alone couldn't bring much happiness and being able to travel in something other than a duffel bag was an upgrade.

But you could still put things in the duffel bag...

Freddy couldn't help but miss the old things despite being surrounding by such an amazing world that had always been just outside the doors.

He just felt a bit... lost... at times.

Bright eyes turned in response to movement, as Vanessa - 'Not Officer Vanessa - Just Vanessa, Okay?' - stomped past with her arms laden with another pile of soggy clothing towards the dryers.

He had offered to help, but she had firmly insisted that they stay put where she could make sure both of them didn't get into trouble.

Though he did not fully understand how washing clothes in an otherwise empty laundromat in the middle of the night would bring about trouble.

But Vanessa had only repeated that - unless they really wanted to talk to the police who might come upon them on their own - they would listen to her and 'Not. Cause. A. Problem.'

No doubt she was wanting to 'Get this done' judging by the muttering covered by the sound of the solitary dryer already running and the tinny beeps and boops of the handheld gaming system that Gregory had 'liberated' somewhere along the way.

Freddy would have possibly considered the levels of success involved in convincing the child to go back to sleep in their vehicle - had it not been for the extremely familiar figure suddenly looming in the light of the window, pointing towards him with a long digit pressed against the glass and excitedly waving with muffled jingling from outside.

"I ....uh... Vanessa..." He was going to regret saying this.

"...I think there is a problem."

Spending New Years with the bear boy ;3

In a party amongst coworkers there was only one person you sought out, Freddy Fazbear. As you navigated through the crowd, reminiscent of parting a sea, Freddy stood out, solitary and prominent, near a table. Your lips twitch up into a smile as you approached, instantly drawing Freddy's gaze. His ears perk up just from the sight of you, a warm look in his eyes that drew you in closer.

"Hello superstar!" "Hey big man!" You say in a cheerful tone. "Not like you to be a wallflower, what are you doing here all by yourself?"

Freddy lets out a simulated sigh, shrugging his broad shoulders. "I... I suppose I don't want a lot of company tonight."

Your brows knit together from his response, that was unlike him. There was nothing Freddy loved more than making everyone around him smile with his charming personality. You reach out, placing a hand on his shoulder.

"That's okay, nothing wrong with wanting to spend a holiday alone. I mean, if you want I could give you some space?" You suggest in a careful tone, feeling worried for your friend.

"No, no. If I wanted anyone here with me, it would be you superstar." Freddy's tone carried a warmth that could make you melt. If only he knew how much those words meant to you.

"Me too." You confess quietly, eyes scanning the people around you. "Parties suck anyway, same with New Years. I mean, what sucks more than everyone around you kissing and you're stood there, god, it is so incredibly awkward." Unbeknownst to you, your words became a blur in Freddy's audio receptors, every syllable merging into a soft hum as his focus shifted to your lips. The crowd's countdown began, the one thing he was able to focus on this very moment.

His fist clenched and unclenched, debating on what he was going to do.

You finally realize he wasn't paying much attention to you, "Freddy?"

The animatronic makes his decision, internal fans whirling so fast it hit your ears. His large hand finds it's way on your cheek, making your eyes widen in disbelief.

As he leaned in, realization finally dawned on you, your eyes flutter closed, your head tilting up in anticipation.

Cold metal brushes against your lips, and you didn't expect the hard shiver down your spine from the contact. Your hands find its place on broad shoulders, pressing back against his maw with gentle pressure.

Freddy was the first to withdraw, and you find yourself chasing after the contact. Your eyes slide open once his forehead rests against yours, heart skipping a beat at those bright blue eyes staring back at you.

"Happy New Years, Superstar."

The thing is I don’t care if Louis was a dad, I actually can’t wait to see him as a dad. But from what I’ve seen, she was never pregnant. I will never accept the fact that he is a dad. I wish I could just be like oh he’s a dad and not let bg bother me but I will not insult my own intelligence like that. Briana -> never pregnant = Louis -> not a dad.

Yeah same. In fact, I have gotten a lot of shit for saying that I think Louis is a good person for Freddie to have in his life, regardless of his true role/nature for being there. (A funny amazing kind generous millionaire?? Uh… I could pretend to be six if he wanted a pretend sibling for Freddie)

But Briana was never pregnant. She just wasn’t. And we’re eight years deep and she has never produced a solitary piece of believable evidence to the contrary so… here I sit. She was never pregnant, so Louis isn’t a dad.

I am not okay. Glenn deserves the world. Nick deserves the world. Taylor deserves the world. I am not okay.

The fact that Glenn stayed away because he was terrified of hurting them the way his dad hurt him and yet he inadvertently did the same thing his dad DID *chefs kiss*. It hurts. The fact that Glenn brushes off all the trauma and tries to move on and make it better WHEN HE STARTS CRYING AND THEY ALL INNATELY KNOW THAT “THIS IS AS GOOD AS IT GETS”?!?!!? AAAAAAAAAAAAA

Anthony Burch, Freddie Wong, you geniuses I love and hate you two sooo much.

If you couldn’t guess Glenn is my fav along with Henry.

But Glenn’s story man, it gets me every time.

This man: went to another world, lost his son, found his son, gained magic powers, made friends with other dads, found out his own deadbeat father was alive and had kidnapped his son, fought them to get him back, got tempted to join evil because they could bring back his dead wife, he refused and kept fighting for his son, he then gained a cursed guitar, drew from the deck of many things, got his soul trapped in said guitar, was put on trial by his own father, lost said trial and had to choose between death or a rewrite of the timeline where Nick is not his son, he chose the other timeline so his son wouldn’t be an orphan, got sent to a maximum security magic prison, got put into solitary confinement with a muzzle over his face in a cell that speeds up time, spent TWENTY FUCKING YEARS in there (for him, it was only three days for everyone else), broke out of prison and found his son, his son wasn’t his anymore and he was replaced by another guy, had nothing for him to live on for, still fought for his (no longer) son, found out that the guy who replaced him was the demon who inhabited his cursed guitar, his former son now a half demon, his wife is alive in this timeline but love the demon guy because he managed to save her, his son then goes to live in hell, he dies by having his heart explode in front of his friends, he goes to hell, becomes a demon, and reunites with his son, has a rivalry with his sons new demon dad, fights his own father who turns to their side when he realises his son is alive in a way, then sees HIS DEAD WIFE, who is now happy with the demon guy, introduces himself as a friend of the family. AND THATS JUST SEASON ONE.

My god it hurts to know that even after all that, he still gets the short end of the stick, his family is broken and according to the dm, always will be. I still have hope for the Closes, they cannot be controlled, even by fate, and I dearly hope they can find a way to make it work.

I’m trying to pick apart Glenn in ep45, and from an unbiased standpoint since he’s one of my favorite character in all of DnDads. (long post)

It’s a bit strange that after everything Glenn went through and all he said at the end of the finale that he would end up falling back into his shitty ways again. My theory as to what the fuck happened is that he just… forgot to keep improving himself? Which unfortunately seems like something his character would do.

Because you’d think after being written out of your own reality, 18 years of solitary confinement compressed into three days, the multiple severe injuries that came with that, and DYING — being MURDERED — not long after your escape, that he would’ve kept good to his word. But his words, loosely, were that he wanted to give the Fosters their space. Yet he became part of their family again. We know that Nicky wanted to keep Glenn in his life and that he sees him as a father figure still, and that he ‘got Morgan back’. Jodie is a part of their lives too, but essentially Glenn has gotten both his wife and son back.

And, even though he was also heavily drugged at the time, we know that Glenn has a severely warped perception of his own life. Only from seeing himself from an objective perspective did he realize that he kind of hated himself and the things he did.

In the Talking Dads for Lord of Chaos pt2, they discussed what each of their characters loved, hated, and wanted. Here is Freddie’s answer paraphrased:

“Glenn loves freedom, hates authority, and what he wants is for everything in his life to stay exactly the way it is”

So in the end, Glenn got what he wanted. With the exception of irreversible changes like being a demon and the timeline being rewritten, he still gets back his life of a cool rocker with a wife and son. So why would he need to keep improving if his life went back to the way it was before anything went wrong? So he ends up falling back into the cycle he inherited from his own father and was absent when he was needed most.

I’m not trying to defend him in any way, especially with my heavy bias for his character, but what I’m getting at is that the new timeline graciously accepted him back into the role he had in the first, so Glenn just settled into what he had and didn’t think to continue making himself a better man, possibly thinking he’d already gotten to his best self because he got what he wanted. But self improvement isn’t a journey that ends, especially in the case of Glenn. He had a lot more work on himself that he could’ve done, but I think he just ended up not doing that.

I don’t think who killed Bonnie matters but what caused it and who Bonnie was is more important.

Something I’ve always thought about in security breach was that Bonnie’s green room changed locations.

In security breach his green room was in rockstar row

However I think this was changed in ruin with this becoming his green room. The pause menu message even calls it Bonnie’s green room.

(I probably know this was probably a retcon but let me dream real quick.)

Of course they’d move his stuff into a spare room if Bonnie was decommissioned. However, how do we know if this was the case?

Most of the messages in security breach have no specific date on them. We just have to guess where they take place in the timeline based on the contents of the message.

I’m going on the wild idea that Bonnie was being slowly taken out of the spot light. Now you might ask “Bonnie was popular that kids asked about him, why would the company want him gone?��

It’s quite simple. In security breach and ruin, there’s no clear picture of who Bonnie really was. We have no idea what Bonnie was like. Sure, Freddy loves and grieves him but bear in mind, Freddy still considered Roxy, Chica and Monty as his friends despite the fact they were hunting down Gregory. He was still horrified with their fates even though they threatened Gregory because Freddy still saw good in them. The same goes with his relationship with Bonnie.

All the animatronics in the pizzaplex all act out in some form. They each have their problems. I think it’d be more strange if Bonnie wasn’t doing anything bad. Most of the animatronics have attacked staff bots: Roxy decapitates them, Chica attacked them for food, Moon (and probably Sun to a degree) rips endos and staff bots. Monty hasn’t been said to have attacked a staff bot but he has broken fences and Freddy was in safe mode during the game.

Besides don’t you think it’s quite interesting the bowling screens show Bonnie attacking the pins in an almost sadistic way?

That’s why they’d move Bonnie away from the spot light. If he’s becoming a major problem, Fazbear Entertainment does not want him to possibly damage their reputation further therefore they need to put a stop on him. They made first help wanted game to build their reputation back up and to play off past mistakes as “rumours”

The glamrocks contradict the personalities they were programmed with. Roxy is the cool one with a beauty salon but she has major insecurities. Chica is the fitness guru centred around food but has an impulse control issues and binge eats. Monty is a laid back rising rockstar yet has anger issues and stays away from shows.

But Bonnie? We don’t know. The stuff in Bonnie bowl is little to go off in all honestly and the most you could get was that he’s also this sorta laid back guy but is that really all?

It’s also really funny to note alligators, rabbits, wolves and chickens are mostly social animals meanwhile bears are more solitary except for a few.

If Bonnie was becoming a problem for the pizzaplex, fazbear entertainment would slowly relegate Bonnie to just a side show in Bonnie Bowl like how Monty was probably just a side thing in Gator Golf. They don’t want to risk anything with him. They no longer let Chica sing because of the risk of lawsuits after she did instead of trying to fix anything. If Bonnie is popular and held no risk, why wouldn’t they try to bring him back? Yeah Monty could be more profitable but Monty is just a side thing like the Daycare Attendant and DJMM compared to a popular member of the main band.

Fazbear entertainment wanted Bonnie gone. His decommissioning was the perfect opportunity and they took it. They just needed a replacement and Monty was the best option and next in line.

I’m not saying Bonnie was 100% evil or 100% good. But the circumstances and what drives something to attack him is interesting. Was it out of malicious intent? Self defense? Or an accident? Who knows. But the reason can change everything.

I'm quite curious what it is about Sonic that makes so many media turn him into a jerkass or an imbecile who doesn't see value in his companions. SatAM, Sonic the Comic, Archie, an attempt from Boom RoL and also the TV show at times, IDW, Prime... Why Sonic? He's so nice and he loves his friends!!

It's conflating cockiness with jerkassery. In the same way Shadow is also turned into a giant rude prick when he's just curt and solitary.

It's funny when you remember that Sonic and Shadow are actually polite, in their own way. Sonic has a soft spot for young girls and does things like bowing to the Wisps who saved him, Shadow is the only one who respects Eggman enough to call him Doctor (and in Japanese he uses boku, same "mild" pronoun as Tails). something something that nice song penned by freddie mercury that came out in 1980

Of course, it still takes talent to take Sonic the Hedgehog, the dude who has unironically fought in the name of the Superpower of Teamwork™, and write him as someone who would take his friends for granted at best, or deliberately guilt trip them to win an argument at worst. Might as well write Eggman opening up an orphanage pro bono :V
