A compilation I originally started to show my Amicae some of the brilliant absurdity of G1 (well, the first two seasons; I haven't yet watched the rest). It got away from me a bit...
(Posted in two parts because Tumblr doesn't accept videos more than ten minutes long. A fact I found buried in the Unhelpful Centre, after days of failing to upload the whole thing.)

Rant at me about warpath PLSSS
HE'S SUCH A LITTLE GUY!! I LOVE HOW HE CONSTANTLY MAKES HIS OWN SOUND EFFECTS
Bro is so cool too 😭😭💕 like he turns into a TANK?!!! That's so badass???? I wonder if his tank mode would be stronger than Megatron's :0
Erm! I'm so normal about him... I loved him so much in the wfc and foc games, he's such a fun character to play as and interact with- the way he bursts through whole aft secured doors is already amazing on its own, but accompanied by his silly little sound effects???? Cherry on top fr! BOOM! KABLAM! I quote his sound effects on the daily 😭😭🤝🤝
In g1 his friendship with hoist has me in a chokehold- chaotic dumbafts fr!!
Warpath getting into weird situations is my favorite flavor of transformers-!

I don't know these characters, and i don't know if the characterization in their Universe profiles actually matches their G1 cartoon depictions, Jetfire's/Skyfire's certainly doesn't, Devcon doesn't have one, and Cosmos' has little substance). But basically, according to said profiles;
Powerglide — Enjoys showing off. Prideful about his ability to fly, his overconfidence often gets him in trouble with enemy jets. Wants people, enemies or allies, to think highly of his skills.
Warpath — Overestimates/has too high an opinion of himself. More concerned with showing off than he's with the other Autobots, or at least it seems like that. His boisterousness, loud-mouthedness, and a raucuous sense of humor make him welcome company and make him good at lightening up situations. In what i'm convinced is a dick joke, he's very proud of his tank barrel and doesn't take even a scratch well, and would get depressed if it was actually damaged.
Perceptor — Has an endless thirst for knowledge which he seeks above all else, and Earth is a goldmine of new stuff for him. His job is to study Earth for the Autobots. He's absent-minded and has poor awareness of his surroundings when doing his thing. Good-natured and friendly, but unlikely to join the other Autobots in non-work stuff. (So the profile doesn't really give him personality besides autistic-coding and being nice)
Seaspray — Enthustiastic about his navy job and Earth's sea and the life in it, Cybertron doesn't have this kind of a thing. Prefers his hoverboat altmode and being in water to his bot mode/being on land. Loves the thrill of battle, and the risk of drowning if his altmode is damaged apparently only makes it better.
Blades — Street-fighter type who thirsts for up-and close violence, which to his anger he isn't getting because he's the air support. Considers long-range air attacks unsporting and cowardly, and would rather be spoattered with the blood of his enemies.
Except for Perceptor, these people are all pretty similiar actually. Not sure if the G1 canon had any depth.
Though at least this gives me an idea for G1 SG au Warpath; Shy, quiet, perhaps scared, tries to make himself small.
Ooo okay okay makes sense
There is no way that's not a dick joke. Like. That's gotta be.
You're right on most of them except Percy being pretty similar, I feel like for SG Perceptor there is a lot of fun to be had leaning into the Mad Scientist character. I am biased because I love Mad Scientist characters.
That'd probably be a good bet for SG Warpath

One last round of trivia:
"The Stunti-Con Job" exists as both a comic and a BotCon script reading; the plots are the same, but the script reading added a subplot featuring Minerva, a medibot determined to meet Ratchet at all costs, who's somehow dragged Warpath along on her quest. (She does also appear in the comic version - see below.)
The script reading also featured a musical interlude - a duet sung by G1 and Animated Grimlocks. I don't think it went according to plan.
Like the story's title, the comic's original cover pays homage to the classic British comedy film "The Italian Job". (As do the picture captions on the relevant TFWiki page.)
Sideswipe and Breakdown share a body-type (first seen on Rodimus Prime) - possibly a callback to the G1 episode "Masquerade", in which that iteration of Sideswipe was disguised as Breakdown. (The same applies to Jazz and Dead End, and, more or less, to Optimus and the Motor Master.) In-universe, all the Stunticons underwent spark transplants into Autobot frames - except Toxitron, who's a clone of Optimus. Not a very successful one.
Cheetor, meanwhile, is a retool of Blurr - a fact Sideswipe remarks on four BotCons later, in "The Return of Blurr". which takes place at about the same time as "The Stunti-Con Job". Hence Blurr's appearance in the latter, in the High Council box alongside Cliffjumper - still cubified, and no doubt still talking twenty-four to the dozen.
Strika's Team Chaar, seen at the very end of this story, has undergone a reshuffle since "Transwarped" - Oil Slick is still there, unfortunately, but Cyclonus, Blackout and Spittor have been replaced by Mindwipe, Sky-Byte, Scalpel and Blot.
As for Autobot cameos, there are too many to list, but most of them are here:

(Botanica is also in this frame, but further up in the High Council box. TFWiki claims that Tap-Out is somewhere in the crowd; I can't see him, though.)

ON THE WARPATH! (≧∀≦)
If there was ever a mech to match his name, it’d be Warpath. Plated with thick war-grade metal, they don’t call him “Warpath” for nothing. He’s loud, ready to fight, and interjects his speech with onomatopoeias. His appearance speaks volumes to everyone around him, with a giant gun seated right in the middle of his chassis. here’s nothing he loves more in life than his gun, and she’s one of the few to see the calm and quiet side of the usually boisterous red tank. Whenever she is damaged, Warpath is too.

Humanformers Perceptor, Hound, Beachcomber, Seaspray and Warpath!
On a journey for science and stuff.
Perceptor leads, spewing all the scientific facts.
Hound is a strong boi and enjoys giving his bestie a life, while Beachcomber takes the opportunity to get great wild life photos and get a closer view of the animals. #makebeachcomberadisneyprincess
Seaspray is musing and Warpath too is enthralled and does their best to keep their voice down.
Overall an interesting friend group.
