Being With Her Is All That Matters

I think this comic really sheds a ton of light on their relationship. I know that in many other material there is emphasis on her devotion but at first it just seems like it’s going to be the devoted follower who has a love that is not fully appreciated. However, here that Gill shows the depth of how much he appreciates Kolin’s efforts if he thinks that her love is much more than having his powers. I mean there are other stuff that implied their relationship was more than just professional or just a one sided servant devoted to a egotistical master. But I do think this brings in more depth to Gill as a person where he is capable of treasuring others even if he has a god complex. Because if this was Bison he would be such an ungrateful bastard he would have found a way to kill everyone for stripping him of his powers. So again this marks Gill as someone really different from Bison where it hints he really can be capable of love despite his own warped views on relationships due to how he was raised.

I normally can't bring myself to read MxF fanfic but I tried to read one yesterday simply because Gill was a part of the pairing. I couldn't make it very far because they said that Gill was wearing a suit and I cannot STAND this, why would he dress like his brother???? Sure there were many other reasons why I didn't like it but the suit was what did it for me, just use Urien at this point help

They Were So Cute When They Were Little

Seriously, I want flashbacks of them as kids and showing the bond they once had. It’s really sad to see what they used to have and now they couldn’t even be more distant from each other. And in a way, it’s a societal golden child and scrapegoat going on with the two. One is heralded as the messiah while the other one is seen as just the spare. I also notice as even a kid that Gill was interested in his society’s teachings which shows probably he was more devoted even back then. Even though Urien’s animosity doesn’t help with their relationship, his brother drinking the cool aid and becoming detached from other people doesn’t help either. In essence, both brothers’ have issues that caused each other to drift. 

* I also really think that Gill as a kid could be mistaken as a girl and I could so imagine that maybe he once dressed up as one once in a while. 

**  Also I have this feeling that Urien is now being retconned to always have that skin and hair or he activated his powers earlier.
