The man on the radio is idling his way through the classics, the clock change has slowed his efforts. No traffic lady today, perhaps she's sat in the car queues along with everyone else. The weather man says it's not raining yet, but keep 'the umbrella' to hand.
Someone texted in with a news report ... "Just in - British travellers have been informed that they'll have to wear flip flops when travelling as they'll be obliged to not only go through facial recognition, but also provide toeprints as a way of getting around the current legal roadblocks to obtaining fingerprints."
Could this be true? Or has the wine finally gone to the heads of the grape crushers in charge? ...

Jug
Byzantine; Eastern Mediterranean, probably Syria, 6th century
Glass vessels were one of the many kinds of objects that were made for pilgrims of different faiths who visited Jerusalem. This jug was probably used to store blessed oil or water.

Glass oinochoe (jug). Roman late 1st century BCE–early 1st century CE. x
This elegant jug, whose shape imitates that of a metal vessel, shows how quickly the newly founded Roman glass industry mastered its medium. It represents a masterpiece of glassworking, using techniques that are now only imperfectly understood. After it was applied as a rough blank, the jug's handle was cold-carved into its final form. Similarly, the rim has been tooled and carved, and the base was added and cut down on a lathe. A similar method, combining hot and cold working, must have been used to produce early Roman cameo glass, notably the British Museum’s Portland Vase.

Giving your favorite blorbo all your personal hangups and quirks regardless of whether they fit established canon is a rookie mistake. Now you've practically turned them into an OC and the number of people who care about your iteration of them will decrease significantly.
The pro strategy is to distribute these across the whole cast / across multiple characters, putting each trait where it makes the most sense.
Silly trait example with my personal blorbo...
1) After a long day at work, Akechi says something like "God I need a drink" and go home to pour himself a nice cold glass of milk.
2) Akechi loves wearing cargo pants.
The first one sounds way more plausible for him but the second one is pretty incongruent with his love of formal old man clothes and detective styling.
It would make more sense to give this one to Aiura, who wears street fashion and would definitely fill her pockets with all sorts of glittery crap.
Similarly, if I wanted to write about a contentious relationship with a helicopter mother, I'd pick Kaido as a subject. He's not blorbo to me, but his situation with his mom is a lot closer to mine than any of the other characters. Other candidates that don't have canon mom problems but that might fit that role would be Teruhashi or Yumehara, or I could switch the mom relationship to a dad relationship and project on Kuboyasu.
Trying to arm wrestle Akechi (whose parents were too busy fighting each other) or Aiura (who clearly got plenty of freedom from her parents) into the role would force them to be way OOC.
Of course, that's totally fine if you enjoy that kind of thing and don't mind a smaller audience! Just thought I'd throw this out there for people who want to relate to our develop headcanons for characters and then struggle with them changing too much from their canon portrayals.
