Dc x dp idea 84
Jack and Maddie are legit crazy mad scientist.
They moved to amity before jazz was born. Prior to the justice league. Those who didn’t comply when the moved were swiftly taken care of.
All outside new sources come from them amity has only seen what the fentons want.
The Giw were hired by the Fentons. Both are bad. But who would the town rather deal with the shoot first supposed government. Or the wacky Fenton parents.
And how many parents can exactly actively stake out a school. How many times had they been inside the school during the school day.
That is until mr lancer comes into play. Somehow he managed to slip by and entered the town this year. Earning a position of vice principal right under their noses.
He actively promotes Danny doing better. Actually forcing him to do his work and learn.
He takes notes of Danny’s declining health. Falling asleep in class, the bruises and reports the fentons. Only for nothing to happen.
Lancer then takes notes of the eccentric actions of the fentons. The screaming of tearing the ghosts apart. He knows about the truth of the outside world. He knows this would go against the meta human protection acts. So he makes a mental note to contact the proper services of the need arises.
After the events of the town being yoinked into the infinite realms. He finally acts. Sending out an email and call to the justice league hotline. Unbeknownst to him both being stopped by the Fenton parents.
Obviously they plan to deal with him when the time is right.
The only reason he stays is because no other adult seems to care about the kids. He was the only one who event attempted to check in on them during the ghost flu.
He can’t stand by any longer when he sees the two Fenton parents hunting phantom. See them getting skilled shots in. Actively forcing phantom into Danny. But they don’t stop. Still shooting at Danny.
Mr. Lancer watches as Jazz, Sam and Tucker manage to get them away. He ushers them to his car the five hardly manages to make it out. Danny seriously injured.
It’s only then does the phone connect to the justice league helpline.

Danny switching languages
So i like to think everyone in the fenton household is genuis in something.
Obviously all of them inherited the engineering skills,
Maddie is amazing at martial arts, and physical activity
Jazz is a prodigy in phycolgey, while being good in a little of everything else
Jack i think would be a good baker or something along those lines
Danny would be good with linguistics and either engineering or chemistry
I like the idea of danny being too sleep deprived to properly pronounc any words his brain forgets so he just uses one of the others he knows
Mr.lancer calling on him and danny says maybe half in english before switching to Arabic, then looks down as if he said everything in English
Mr.Lancer is looking in shock that DANNY FENTON knowes another language let alone can use it so fluently
Sam and tucker are thinking about how dannys hit a new level of sleep deprivation and making plans on how to get him home the easiest
Everyone else in in a state of confusion over fenton saying...what ever he said, Mr.Lancer looking shocked and fentons friends looking like their having an invisible conversation
Then Mr.Lancer thinks its a good idea to ask danny how he knew Arabic
Danny says the first half of his sentance in Latin, a quarter in engligh and the other quarter in German
Mr.Lancer looks like he wants to intergate danny so sam and tucker intervein
Sam starts telling Mr.Lancer and the class about how dannys amazing in language and chemistry, he just sucks at school work because of his ADHD and because his parents tought his a vastly different way than the school dose
Meanwhile tucker is picking danny up and subtle carring him out the room after he texted jazz saying
: New level unlocked 🔓 multi-lingual: school parking lot
.
.
.
2 days later all the teachers get fenton to take a few tests in a way he can learn and find out the prodigy gene was passed to danny

PhantomVision
Please go read the rewritten better version here please
When Bruce woke up, his mind was filled with fog. Why? What happened to-
His wife turned in her sleep next to him, and he smiled down at her. Her red hair fell around her shoulders.. red? Bruce blinked again. Diana’s hair was black, dark ebony, not- oh, he sees, of course, her hair was just a dark, dark red, of course, how could he miss it.
He gently leaned down and kissed her temple, watching as her eyes snapped open, then blinked slowly as tenseness faded.
“It’s morning time, Diana, time to get up. We have a big day today!”
Diana smiled as she sat up, pausing to briefly rub at her forehead with scrunched eyebrows, “Of course, dear.. I’m just, I think I had an odd dream..?” Diana looked slowly around the room, confusion lacing her features, “Bruce, where..why is today a big day..?”
Bruce paused, “I… don’t kno-“
Their bedroom door slammed open, “Mom! Dad! Get up! I don’t want to be late my first day of school!”
In the doorframe stands a young boy, 14 or 15 maybe, with dark black hair and bright blue eyes.
Barbara comes up behind him, stark red hair contrasting with the teal headband pushing it back, “Come on Danny, we still have an hour, we’re not going to be late, we still have to have breakfast.”
Bruce smiles, “Don’t worry Danny, your pops can cook up breakfast fast enough to get us there on time!” He practically jumps out of bed, sweeping Danny into a hug as he goes past.
The cloudiness of his mind is easy to forget as he starts on scrambled eggs for the family. He drops the first two eggs with shells in the pan with a wince, this is why Alfred never-. Who was-?
“Here Bruce, let me take over,” Diana slides in beside him with an indulgent smile as she empties the pan and starts again.
“Thanks Di, you know I was never much good at cooking,” he leans down to kiss her.
She turns to briefly return it before grabbing a spatula, “Well, I didn’t marry you for the food, Bruce.” She smiles.
“Ughhhh! Gross parent germs!” Danny groans from the table, already eating a piece of toast.
Babs walks by with a smile, ruffling her brother’s hair, “They’re just like that Danny, you know you’ll have to get used to it right?”
“Never!” He says, but there’s a smile on his face.
They all laugh at that as Diana takes the plates and puts them in the sink.
“If you don’t want to be late we better get in the car soon Danny,” Bruce says, checking his watch even though he doesn’t remember getting dressed with it this morning.
“Dang it!” Danny shouts, grabbing his backpack and running towards the door. Babs walks calmly behind him, both already in the car when he gets there.
Bruce listens to the family chatter of his kids as they drive, only to pause at a stoplight when it falls deadly silent.
He glances back, surprised to see Danny staring out the window with a glazed, hurting look.
Bruce follows his eyes to a closed burger restaurant on the other side of the street. Yellow tape is placed across the darkened storefront.
“What’s that place Danny?” He asks, curious as to why the boy is reacting so strongly.
Danny stiffly turns forward, “It’s nothing, Dad, just go. It’s just a closed restaurant, we don’t go there anymore.”
Something scratches Bruce’s mind, “Why not, Danno?”
Danny slams his hands down on the seat, “We just DON’T, OKAY!”
A horn honks behind him, the light green and Bruce presses the gas forward.
“Have a good day at school!” Bruce says, waving at them from the car window as they get out.
Danny waves back at him, shyly embarrassed by his dad’s display, but accepting of it anyways.
His mind blurs, thick as molasses- B! Where!- gray fog that smothers his que-
Bruce watches his kids come back down the steps as school ends, surrounded by a flood of other teens.
He gets out to stand and greet them, a smile on his face as their teacher introduces himself.
“Hi there, I’m Mr.Lancer, and you must be young Daniel’s father… Jack?” The man asks, grey hair pulled back in a ponytail.
Bruce scrunches his brows, “I’m Bruce,” he shakes the extended hand firmly, “Pleasure to meet you.”
The man’s smile brightens, sharpening at the edges in a way that makes Bruce’s head tilt, “Of course, of course! It’s a pleasure to have Danny in my class, I just have so much to teach him,” The man smirks.
“Come onnn, Dad, let’s go!”
Bruce turns around, still waving to the teacher as he gets in the car. The eyes stay on them through the rear view mirror as they drive away.
Bruce pries his eyes away from the schoolfront, glancing at his son.
“How was school, Danny?”
“Fine, I mean Dash is still here but at least he’s in different classes this year.”
“And how about you, Princess?” He says, looking at Babs.
Babs looks up at him through the mirror, a hint of tightness on her lips, “I’m… fine. My legs have been hurting all day though. I can’t figure out why.”
“I’m sure it’s no big deal. Let’s go inside.” Danny says, getting out of the car. They’re already home, though Bruce is sure it should have taken longer. The thought is lost to thick cotton in his mind.
Babs is able to get out of the car on her own, following them up to the entrance. Why does that seem odd?
Diana greets them as they come in, giving them each a hug. Bruce notices a shine around her wrists.
“What’s that, Dee, new jewelry?”
Diana looks down at the thick golden bracelets with a lift of her eyebrows, “Oh.. I was.. cleaning out the basement today… we just have so much stuff down there. I found them in a box… I think.. I think they’re from my mother.” Diana runs a gentle finger along the smooth metal surface, face soft with nostalgia.
When Bruce looks up, he sees Danny standing in the kitchen, eyes glued to the basement door with an empty stare.
“Our basement? … isn’t it…”
The doorbell rings, making Danny look over, trance lost.
When Diana opens the door, Tim and Steph are standing there. Bruce stares at them for a second, unblinking.
“Danny, your friends are here!” Diana yells, making the boy come rushing back down the stairs.
“Hi, Steph, hey Tim, ready to play DOOM?” He says with a smile.
“Of course, Danny!” Tim exclaims, pulling out a slim modified PDA, “I just downloaded the new mods, it’s gonna be sick! Maybe we’ll finally beat Steph!”
Steph playfully kicks at him with a combat boot, “As if, loser! You know I win every time.”
Bruce watches them go upstairs, both barely sparing a look at him as they follow Danny.
Why does he feel like the floor is dropping out from under him? Why do his thoughts keep getting swallowed by this… this.. fog?
Why is he…?
What’s happening?

I think it would be really cool if there was an AU where the whole of Amity Park was convinced that Danny Fenton died in the lab accident. After all, who gets shocked with an entire dimension’s worth of electricity and lives? Nobody. Nobody could survive that.
So they pity the Fenton family, particularly the parents who, for some reason, refuse to believe their son is dead. They send him off to school and make him meals just like a regular living boy, but somehow remain confused when their perfectly functional ghost-hunting equipment locks in on him. They somehow never suspect that their own son is the very thing they spend their lives trying to dissect and destroy.
But Danny… the ghost of Danny… he’s clearly not malevolent. And it’s obvious he doesn’t know he’s dead.
The second month of freshman year, when Danny Fenton came trudging through the halls like a typical teenager too tired to be at school on a Monday morning, the whole school froze. The boy (ghost?) didn’t seem to notice as he grabbed his schoolbooks from his locker, and headed towards first period like it was normal.
The news of the Fenton Works lab accident had been on every Amity Park news station the week before. A tragedy, someone so young and hopeful meeting such a miserable end.
And yet, the Fentons did not appear to grieve.
The ghost of Danny Fenton acted as he did before his untimely demise, and if one didn’t know better, they’d be convinced he was still alive.
However, little things gave it away.
Every room Danny entered was immediately the temperature of a meat cooler. Students took to having jackets on hand if they shared a class with him. He didn’t have a pulse either, which Coach Tetslaff found out one day when Dash Baxter hurled a ball just a bit too hard at the smaller teen, apparently knocking the boy out.
The most damning evidence of all, however, was the fact that Danny Fenton didn’t age.
One could consider him a late bloomer, but it was obvious something was up by junior year as his best friends, Tucker Foley and Samantha Manson had gained inches on him, starting to look more like young adults and less like the awkward duo of adolescents they were at the beginning of freshman year. Yet Danny looked the same as always, face as young and bright as it was at the beginning of high school, never aging past the edge of fourteen.
But Danny was no beast or monster as the Doctors Fenton claimed. He was quiet, and peaceful, and although a bit of a slacker from Mr.Lancer’s perspective, a good kid who just wanted a second chance at life.
So no one acknowledged his miraculous return from the dead.
They treated him like any other student or teenager. Dash Baxter shoved him into lockers like normal, students ignored him in the halls, and teachers called him in for detention if he had late work or missing assignments.
It was the least they could do. The longer they delayed the Fentons finding out about their son, the longer they could keep him safe, allow him to live his second chance at a normal adolescence.
After all, there were other benevolent ghosts too, like Phantom. Surely it was the right thing to do to protect this one innocent spirit?

Dannymay 2020  --  Day 1: EYE
Title: Don’t keep a eye out.
Words: 2,991
Rating: T
AO3: LINK Tags: Hurt/Comfort , Not too detailed descriptions of pain, Fluff. Summary: With a white flash as if someone took a photograph, Danny changed his forms to the more human one. Nothing out of the ordinary, he did this almost every day. Going from human to ghost and from ghost to human. And sure, he's practically sure that at least some part of him died in the incident... but mentally accepting that was still something he wasn't prepared for. For now, "going ghost" could suffice. Fuck- so why is it that my eyes hurt so damn much!? Or Danny experiences eye pain.  -Keep reading for the whole fanfic-
After one whole week of only sleeping 2 hours per day and maybe some minutes in class, to say that he was beyond tired is an understatement. Was there a conspiracy against him going around the Ghost Zone? That must be the cause, because from Saturday to Thursday almost all his time was spent on fighting some noisy ghost who can't take a hint and leave him alone. Really, it wasn't asking much!
It was unrealistic just how many ghosts were coming through the portal. Right... it wasn't as if anything in his life made any sense from the start. Maybe he could ask Tucker to see if the portal has an actual glitch or something. And yes, Tucker may not be any real engineer, but he was flawless when it came to tinkering with tech.
Anyways, it was a fresh new day and he was up before his alarm rang... which isn't necessarily a great thing since he didn't even get to enter bed yet. Yep, another great day ahead. Hurrah!
Danny could already tell how stressed he'd be by the end of this, it must have become some sort of routine at this point. Not really healthy, but what was health anyways. Ha.. Fortunately, all his NASA and Promotional Space Expedition posters, the glow in the dark stars and space themed stickers all around, helped him calm down enough to not have a mental breakdown on his bedroom floor.
With a white flash as if someone took a photograph, Danny changed his forms to the more human one.
As soon as his transformation ended, his eyes started to tingle with a hot pain that made having them open a struggle. Unconsciously, his hands made their way to his face and grabbed at the sides, his fingers dipped into the eyelids of the now semi closed eyes. Danny groaned loudly and practically threw himself at his bed, one leg touched the floor while the other bent with the pressure of his body, almost kneeling. His upper body reached the middle ground of the bed and he harshly pushed himself onto it. His head was the only thing not pressed against the bed as he used his elbows to propel himself up. Oh it hurt, it really really hurt.
He couldn't see straight with all the tears that managed to form. Everything was swimming and had a strange ectoplasmic-green glow that was almost unnoticeable. With a little more force than needed, he rubbed his eyes with closed fists. Doing painful and quick strokes as he started to shake and tremble more and more. His mind was buzzing with panic, his ears where ringing and his heart thumped loudly against his chest. He heard a sound, was that the alarm ringing? He couldn't tell, couldn't think. Just kept on rubbing.
How does one go from perfectly normal to -this- in a matter of seconds? What he was doing wasn't very smart, but can you blame him? As much as he'd like to be rational right now, it had taken him by surprise. He hadn't been ready for this.
Ok, stop, stop, stop. Danny commanded himself and abruptly threw his arms to each side on the bed.
His breath came out in short puffs and the skin near his eyes stung from the pure force he'd used on it. Gosh, can't he have any peace? First, the number of ghosts pestering him just keeps on growing. Second, he doesn't have time to spend with his friends and family. Third, his grades are a mess and everyone can see. And now what, this? There most be some logical way, what had he done other than fighting Technus moments prior?
His mental thoughts came to a stop as he noticed the sharp pain he'd felt wasn't there anymore. Sighing in victory, he loosened the pressure on his arms and gently rested his face against the mattress. What the fuck.
Is this some new power forming? He remembered almost freezing himself with his ice when it first appeared and when his intangibility acted up and he almost spilled his organs, literally, but it wasn't the same.. didn't feel the same. Sighing once more, Danny rolled to his back and cradled his arms on his chest.
Well, he definitely wasn't doing a good job Resting In Peace.
After the freak out, Danny shrugged off, for now, any deeper meaning behind the sudden pain he'd felt. It definitely wasn't something good, but he was ok now.
He sat up and fished the fresh clothes he was planning on dressing. It was the usual white with red details and oval in the center T-shirt, dark blue jeans and red vans but washed. The alarm had long ago stopped it's infernal high pitched beeping and was now only showing the current time.
Current time... Wait- It's already 8:20? Oh, he was going to be late. Not that he kept perfect record, not after all those times he had to sneak off to fight some random ghost intruder, or didn't even make it into the classroom. But it never felt good to actively go against his morals, especially if it was in his power to attend classes. As boring as they may be. He really wanted to take a bath, guess it needed to wait. Gross, but school was important.
The clothes were dressed in the time record, mostly because he used his powers to slip out of the old ones in an instant. But no time to dwell. With the school bag in hand, his feet almost flew with the speed he'd taken to dash across the house to the front door. A quick glance around made him realise that his parents were probably in the basement and that Jazz had already left. Can't blame her.
Another thing he was grateful for being that people in the morning were always most distracted, be it because they are going to work or because they are coming from work. He used that opportunity to slip into an alley and switch personas. The same white energy ring formed around him as his hair whitened and skin darkened. The comforting sensation of the hazmat suit pressing on his skin as he'd naturally taken to float a few inches from the ground. Again, no time to dwell. He got to be quick!
His feet shifted into his ghostly tail as he turned on invisibility and intangibility and flew straight through the brick wall. Truth be told, Danny was half expecting a ghost to show up mid way to school, but he guessed he was in luck since he arrived safe and sound.
Oh Ancients, Mr.Lancer was surely going to kill him someday. More than he already was. In his opinion Lancer was one of the best teachers, he tried his best that's for sure. Sometimes may come out as too strict or maybe uncaring, but Danny had grown fond of the behaviour and frankly missed having classes with him.
Thinking just about how many times he'd let Mr. Lancer down made him sad. He already disappointed his parents with the fact that he was what they most hated, disappointed Jazz for not trying enough to have good grades and disappointed his friends for always needing to leave them alone.
He carefully slipped into a janitorial closet, it was a small space with no light and a lot of tools to keep the school clean. There was only one door and it had a small opaque window in the middle. There was no fear of getting caught, as the corridors were bare of anyone so with that in mind, he quickly changed forms once more.
The anxiety was making him feel weak, as if his bones decided to become play-doh all of a sudden. Danny didn't need to look at the time to know classes had started a long time ago. And, of course, he was more than late.
As he left the closet, a small hiss escaped his lips as a product of his frustrations. A habit he'd attracted along the years of ghost hunting, of being a ghost, of dying.
Nausea hit him at full force as the bright light of the corridor fully seeped into his vision. The halfa wasn't happy when the same familiar pain crept behind his eyes and, as if someone blew air against his eyeballs or slightly scratched them, he impulsively closed his eyes in an aggressive matter.
Clenching his teeth and angrily grabbing his T-shirt, he slowly walked without a real direction to what he assumed was his classroom door. The vertigo didn't help his walking as he slightly stumbled and almost tripped.
He was determined to have at least one class today, and this wasn't going to stop him. It simply wasn't. Not today, not the day the ghosts decided merely not to show up.
He didn't feel his upper face, or better explaining, it was as if a cold liquid had drenched the insides of his eyes. His eyelids were on a state of coldness and hotness and the skin around furiously itched. The need scratch it was aggravating, but he maintained his control. The imaginary liquid pooled behind his eyes and dripped from his nose, to his cheeks and finally to his lips. He shivered mildly as his face continued to dance around the sensations of cold and hot at the same time, making him feel as if something had paralysed it. When he opened and closed his mouth, it didn't feel real, but as he did the same with his hands, something more alarming made his way into his mind. He also didn't feel it.
He immediately stopped in his tracks. Where was he even going? He didn't know where his class was. Did he even want to go inside.. like this?
It doesn't matter, he needed Sam and Tucker. He knew they were inside, they all shared this period. Danny just needed to breath, open his eyes slowly and act normal. Yes, that's all.
...
Doing just that, he slightly crouched down and stroked his temple with his shaky hands. What a coward he was. He experienced things worse, so why was he like this?
Taking longs breaths and concentrating on the feeling of touching, hearing, smelling something, anything. Time passed rather slow for him as his eyes strained, almost as if touched with acid. But with effort came the reward, as slowly but certainly he lazily opened his sky-blue eyes. They were unfocused and clouded. He could see where he was, could see his class not so far away. That's a relief.
Pushing aside the weird feeling still all over his face and the burning sensation still in his eyesight, he rushed to the door without paying attention to lingering nausea.
The door opened strenuously and he hurried himself inside. His vision swam less that it was seconds ago, but from the looks Mr. Lancer and other kids were giving him, something must still be off.
"Well, look who decided to show up. Tardiness is not accepted, Fenton." Concluded the teacher, Mr. Lancer, not looking the slightest happiest.
"Sorry, something came up." Danny replied halfheartedly, still feeling weak in the knees. Sam eyed him up from across the room, Tucker doing basically the same, but pausing to copy whatever was on the board.
"Go ahead then, sit down." Lancer gestured to Danny's usual and empty seat, only giving him a short and concerned glace before turning again to the used board.
With a slight nod, the halfa did as he was told and hastened to his seat. The school bag flew on top of his table as he removed the books necessary for this class and sat down with a relieved sigh. Unfortunately, he almost directly started to doze off and only stayed awake because Sam decided to elbow Danny in the shoulder, making him yelp in surprise but not loud enough to alert anybody else.
A comeback was at the tip of his tongue, but died out as he remembered that he was needed urgently to talk with his friends.
"Excuse us, sleepy princess, but we practically haven't seen each other in 3 days or more." Said Tucker with a smug but concerned undertone.
"Sorry, you know how it is... Fighting evil doers and all that jazz." Apologised Danny, blinking the tiredness out of his mind.
He stared at his table, going into a trance of thought. He needed to tell them.
"I-" Started Danny off, but was interrupted by Sam shushing him.
"Whatever you're going to say, save it. Let's talk after class." She nodded to herself as she spoke. "Try to sleep a little now, you look like hell."
And that was it, he'd tell them and they'd probably have to go to the Far Frozen or something of the likes. He didn't want to think about what if the problem was something... human. Something close to his origins, that maybe not even the ghosts could help. It was scary thinking of something so realistic as maybe going blind. He studied a lot of books about NASA and what the astronauts needed to go on a mission. They needed to be healthy, have good grades, exercise. He was far from reaching one of those things.. didn't want that to turn two.
Worries filled Danny as he drifted into the dreamland. Dreams didn't await him on the other side, but it was peaceful and relaxed him enough.
"Sleeping in class?" Jokingly lectured Tucker as he shook Danny awake.
"Come on, it already ended." Continued Sam, already ready to leave.
Getting up and gathering all his not even used supplies into the school bag, Danny walked into their side and let out a little groan. They walked in silence until they've reached a small corner where most students don't stop at. The halfa wasn't sure why they weren't talking as they'd normally do, he himself wasn't just as energised but he did think this was weird. To his surprise, however, Jazz was already waiting for them there. Pacing around the small space, she stopped when seeing the trio approach and smiled.
"Jazz? Why are you here." Asked Danny confused, but not against the situation. It was his sister after all.
"That's the thing, Danny. We're concer-" With a nasty scream, he interrupted the middle of her sentence. The eye-thing came back, with full blown pain. It felt like the first time, if not worst. As if a butter knife tapped against his eye with scorching temperatures and left behind a trail of molten metal. Without hesitation, they all ran to Danny's side and supported him with their arms.
Small crystal clean tears dripped from the halfa's face and he tried to hold back the vertigo that was trying to settle in, he didn't want this to happen He wanted to talk to them normally, fuck.
"Danny? Danny!?" Called out Sam in a frantic manner. They already knew he was pushing himself, but not this much.
"Ok, deep breaths, deep breaths. Tell me what's wrong." Jazz bent down to look better at her brothers face.
Doing as he was told, he'd push air in and out slowly and excruciating. Keeping his mind concentrated in only the task at the time and nothing else. The tingle behind his eye and the strange sensation of being hyper aware of his eyelashes, wasn't helping but, with he was determined.
"Eh-Eye-" A shaky finger pointed at his eye, he wanted them to look at whatever was doing this to him.
With a silent nod, Jazz cupped his face and elevated it to have a better look. Tucker and Sam shuffled to her sides to see too. A gasp passed around them and he felt lightheaded and reminded that he was in school, he couldn't bring so much attention to himself, or them.
"Oh Danny, if we knew you were this bad.." She sighed and gently passed a hand down his hair in a comforting manner.
"What is it-?" His voice trembled as he forced out his voice. He didn't want to hear bad news, not something irreplaceable, please, not that.
"You just seem awfully sleep deprived." Responded Tucker when hearing the panic in the others voice. "There isn't anything sticking out or pools of blood.."
"Wh- Really? But it hurts like a bitch-" As if on cue, he'd let out a small groan and scrunch his eyes for a few seconds before opening them again.
"And, And, I see everything in a weird green tint-" He continued ignoring the interruption.
"Language." Jazz said strictly, before continuing. "Hmm.. I'm not a ghost expert, but It might just be your ghost side acting up, because you aren't reacting well enough with your human one." She speculated, hoping it could calm him down as much as it could calm her down.
"I can't just rest, ghosts keep appearing everywhere! I need to- I need to-" Before he could finish, Sam pushed a finger in his lips direction and said with an exciting smile.
"Are you forgetting us? We can keep up." Sam scoffed, gesturing to herself, Jazz and Tucker.
"Yeah. We learned a lot from watching and helping in your fights!" Nodded along Tucker.
"Why don't you take this weekend off while we work, ok?" Finish Jazz, giving Danny's forehead a little kiss.
His eyes still stung, a whole damn lot, but we was feeling better mentally. Giving them a small smile, he nodded in agreement. "Ok, I'll try to do that."

grave layers of misunderstandings chapter 1
Chapter 1.
They're going through changes.
Danny and Tucker we're leaning against the lockers of Middleton High School, shooting the breeze like they usually did during a Friday afternoon, they didn't actually have a class next period, this was their study hall time, still other students milled about heading to be wherever they needed to be, the boys noticed a pair of girls passing them chatting about something neither Danny or tucker really cared about, "you ever wish to know what goes on inside a woman's mind, Danny?" tucker asked offhandedly.
"Sometimes I wish I could, it would make life so much easier for me, girls are so confusing" Danny replied. Suddenly, Danny gasped as his ghost sense went off, and he heard a feminine voice say "so you have wished it, so it shall be.'' Danny and Tucker felt a jolt of energy hit their body, they felt their chest grow, their skin become softer, their hair grew, everything about them was changed, Danny didn't know where the ghost was when she cast her spell on them, he figured one day like this couldn't hurt, but he needed to find her as soon as school was over, he thought of a quick lie to tell the teachers,
he'd say he was Danny Fentons, cousin, yeah that would work, Danny turned around and saw tucker was in no way dealing with this as well as he was crouched on the floor, shaking and holding himself, " tucker are you alright?' Danny asked his friend and noticed both their voices were more soft and higher-pitched, tucker was saying something but he could barely make out what it was, Danny reached about to shake him, but tucker smacked his hand away "don... Don't touch me"
it sounded like tucker was having trouble getting the words out, Danny thought of a different approach, Danny grabbed his bag and emptied out his paper lunch bag into his backpack so the bag would be usable and handed it to tucker. Danny started talking slowly and calmly "here, take deep breaths into this, in and out, we will figure this out, all we have to do is Survive one day and I'll hunt down the ghost who did this to us and make her change us back, for now, though we need to find Sam, we need to get a change of clothes, so we don't appear suspicious, she's in class right now but i can get her attention pretty easy, for now, go hide in the girls bathroom stall", tucker raised his eyebrows perplexed "won't the girls notice us?" Danny just stared at tucker.
"Right, I'll just head off to ladies room now" and with that tucker wandered off, Danny quietly, whispered to himself "I'm going ghost" turned himself invisible and incorporeal then headed to find Sam, she was pretty easy to find he knew she had English class around this time, he made himself sink into the floor until just his head was showing and floated over to the classroom, he was right Sam was currently listening to Lancer read about hamlet to the class, he got next to Sam "Sam, its Danny, me and tucker need your help".
Sam looked up from her textbook," Danny? What's wrong with your voice? it sounds weird.,'' Sam asked. " no time to explain just head to the girl's bathroom and we will explain from there". Sam put down her book and raised her hand, "Mr.Lancer can i go to the lady's restroom?", lancer glanced up from his book and said in an annoyed tone "can't you hold it? we are about to get to the best part". Sam shook her head, "I actually need to take care of some lady things if you get my drift".
Lancers faced turn bright red, "oh.. Uh go ahead then, just be quick about it." Sam grabbed her backpack and walked out to the girls restroom, when she got there she saw Danny and tucker, covering their chest, and with a lot of hair they didn't have when she saw them that morning. "ok, explain, why do you have long hair? and why are you covering your chest? And why are you both in the girl's room?." Sam asked.
Danny slowly uncovered his chest. "Oh, ok that explains the past few minutes, I've got some measuring tools here, your lucky my mom makes me do seamstress Lessons when at my home, anyway I'm not about to allow my friends to go around the school without a bra and a proper outfit, ok Danny first, I can tell by looking he's probably bigger than me, so I'll need to have his size for later in case we can't fix this in a day".
Sam grabbed Danny's arm and yanked him into the stall. "Thanks for doing this Sam," Danny said in a grateful tone "you're a lifesaver i don't think we'd survive without you". Sam then smiled " you totally wouldn't, now lift your arms for me" Sam then began her measurements and before no time she was finished "ok Danny you are now a 36 C, I don't carry anything that big with me, but I can probably make a makeshift cupless bra really quick but I will have to go shopping for you, to get you something properly fitting, also not gonna lie it's probably not gonna be very comfortable, anyway, luckily, she left the other part of your figure alone, you can borrow a skirt and a tank from me, also I'm guessing you can't go home in this state so feel crash with me as well".
Sam began to ramble on a bit, but Danny appreciated the gesture, he stepped out of the stall, wearing one of Sam's mini skirt and tank tops. " ok tucker, it's your turn". It took less time for the measurements to be done, and they were out of the stall, tucker was also in the same styling as Sam, but it looked better on tucker then Danny, at least Danny thought so, "he's the same size as me, so shopping for him won't be necessary, so I just gave him a few of my extra pairs" Sam explained, tucker stepped out the stall looking miserable, as if someone had just kicked his puppy.
"uh Sam, why do you have extra pairs of bras?" Danny asked. "you're not always around Danny, other teenage girls can be really mean sometimes, one gets stolen every other week, and no one speaks up about it either." Sam said a bit timidly. "Why don't you tell someone, about it?" Danny asked. "And then what i get labeled as a snitch, and even if I did it wouldn't help, it would just make it worse, anyways sit down the both of you and let me do your makeup, I don't want you getting teased like me".
Tucker glared at Sam " no way, I'm not wearing makeup that's where I draw the line, the clothes are necessary but makeup is an aesthetic choice". Tucker protested angrily. "It's ok tucker, you don't have to wear any" Sam said calmly. Danny opened the stall he was previously in closed the lid and sat down "well, I don't actually mind wearing it, Sam you can do mine, can I ask you something Sam?"
"Sure". Danny rubbed the back of his neck nervously " you've never given a crap whatever's thought of you, never backed down from a fight, it's like you have this impenetrable shell about you, so why are you being so open now? is it because we're both girls now?".
"Im being open because we are both in very vulnerable circumstances right now, and just because you have breast now doesn't automatically make you a girl, there are people out there who have them that are still guys, you know what you are, not me, not society and not some ghost" Danny then breathed a sigh of relief hearing Sam say that.
Sam then grabbed her makeup tools out of her bag, she first grabbed a tube of mascara, “ok, this going to feel weird for someone who hasn't had their makeup done before, ok look directly at me and look down for me” she gently placed her thumb on the center of Danny's eyelid. She then lifted the eyelid to expose his eyelashes, she then started applied the mascara. “Ok, that does feel weird, but in a good way” Danny commented about halfway through, “shush, this takes some concentration and i don't want to mess up”.
Sam finished, the mascara and then took out a color pallet of eye shadow, “normally id just give you purple or black, but I'm sensing the goth look isn't for you, so I'm allowing you to pick a color”, Danny shrugged “as long as it's a light purple, i think i would be fine with that.'' Sam opened up her color pallet and gently rubbed the eye-shadow on Danny’s eyelids.
“ok, one last thing, some lipstick, I've got some normal light pink with me today, ok pucker your lips for me as if you ate something sour” Danny did as he was told, after that his makeup was complete, Danny was about to reach for the door, when Sam stopped him, “Danny, can i ask you a question? I get why tucker is freaking out, having your gender changed against your will is a big deal, and is probably really traumatizing, but why aren't you freaking out?”
Danny just shrugged, “....i don't know, i mean weird stuff kinda happens to me all the time, i guess i'm just kind of used to it.” he said a bit uncertainly, sam raised an eyebrow at this and let it go, she figured Danny would open up in his own time, then the bell rang,
Lancer was standing outside the door, “no, arguments, Detention!”, he yelled. Danny didn't want his friend in trouble, “she was helping me out, with some things” Danny tried to explain “well since you were the reason for her being gone so long and missing the rest of class, its detention for you to young woman” Danny started to protest “im...not” Sam quickly jumped behind Lancer and made a cut it out motion with her hands, “not what” Lancer glared at him, daring him to challenge his authority
Danny sighed a “never mind” Lancer straightened up his back “that's what I thought, I'll see you after school… Miss..miss, you know I never did get your name?” Danny had thought one up earlier for this exact situation “its Danielle, Danielle Fenton, I'm a cousin of Danny's”
just then tucker strolled out of the bathroom, “ah, another student out in the hall during class” tucker quickly reached for something in his pocket, only to discover, there were no pockets.
“It’s, actually my study hall,” tucker said quickly. “Fine” lancer said unhappily, “get to the appropriate study hall area before I change my mind about giving you detention as well, now you two where are your next classes so I can escort you there?” “I'm heading over to the study hall area, there is really no need to escort me there, since there’s no teacher there” Danny explained.
“I'm heading to home economics” Danny looked perplexed by this, “my mom's making me take it”, that explained a lot Danny thought, and then he headed off to the study hall.
