when you live alone and have the TV on at least 50% of the time, rewatching a handful of shows again and again... the voices of the characters become like those of roommates or even loved ones. the thematically repetitive music becomes the soundtrack to your life and any narration becomes the sound of your own thoughts.

how fascinating that playing media as background noise makes these stories feel like home

now that I've lived this way... even if I ever lived with another person again I don't know how I could feel at peace without this presence

UPDATE: ITS MY FIC NOW AHAHAHAHAHAHHAHA Hmmmm Is there a fic where Lloyd and Harumi swap places? But the Quiet one was was the mastermind for like- a lot of the events? And Lloyd is still the prophesied Green Ninja but they believe Harumi is the Green Ninja. Mostly focused on Season 8-15

Lloyd would be the same age as the Ninja in season 1 while Harumi is well- the age Lloyd was. But of course, A lot of events has changed

Lloyd and Harumi still have the same like backstory except Lloyd was the one who adopted by the royal family after running away from Darkley's. Harumi however still had her bio parents die but was left on the streets.

Example like in season 1, The Quiet One was already planning on releasing the Serpentine but Kid Harumi came along and well- "spoiled" his plans. Harumi used Lord Garmadon's name as means to steal from the village for food pretending to be his daughter of sorts. None of the Ninja at this time knew about Garmadon having a kid nor the fact that ain't his actual kid; Harumi was bluffing and didn't even knew Garmadon does have a kid. Wu in the meanwhile was happy to realize that they found Lloyd and got completed confused as to why it's a girl.

Lord Garmadon at this time decided to unofficially adopt Harumi in place of Lloyd cause no one knows his whereabouts. Lord Garmadon does try to keep Lloyd existence a secret from Harumi and the rest for the sake of his bio son's safety (Except Wu, He knows it for a long time and respects his brother's decision to keep Lloyd a secret).

Season 2, Harumi was only able to defeat the Overlord due to the power of the Golden Weapons.

Or in Season 3, The Quiet One helping to bring back the Overlord while staying behind the scenes. Zane notices this at like at the last episode but welp, he dead; He doesn't remember him anymore tho when he came back in Season 4

Season 4, The Quiet One teaming up with Master Chen. Master Chen will still of course gain the power to turn his cult into Anacondrai and giving the Green Ninja's ability towards The Quiet One afterwards. But due to the fact Harumi is not the prophesied Green Ninja, The Quiet One ends up leaving but now knowing that they still haven't found the true Green Ninja. He still howevers try to communicate with Garmadon and see if he remembers him but welp, he doesn't.

Season 5 is Season 5, but Morro like met Lloyd before and see him as a younger brother; He believed that if he couldn't be the Green Ninja then he hopes that Lloyd will be the Green Ninja. When the two reunited again, Lloyd was happy to know that Morro still remembers him; Making him his only family left to trust.

Lloyd doesn't know what actually happened that caused Morro to finally move on and return to the Departed Realm so He blamed the Ninja for it.

Harumi didn't know what's going on during the whole possession but she could hear Morro's and Lloyd conversations which lead her to know of Lloyd's existence.

Imma finish rewatching Ninjago in the meantime as I did forgot a few events

Supermodel and fashion entrepreneur Essek Thelyss doesn't believe in fate - only probability. But it seems probability has it out for him too, because his life is getting turned upside down by a series of ridiculous situations, each more improbable than the last. Why does he keep running into the same man? And more importantly... does he want it to stop?

“You weren’t focused in your shoot.” Essek continued to seek the meaning of the universe in his ghostly reflection in the hotel room window. Uraya was a faint blob of color in the background. He sighed. “I know. I just haven’t been feeling… motivated.” The blob drew closer. “Burnout?” “Language,” Essek tutted. “Do not speak such evil here. …And no, not exactly.” “You had a nice time at the museum, didn’t you? You certainly stayed late enough.” “Yes, it was fine.” Essek flicked his wrist, fanning away further inquisitiveness. “It is only just… I feel like I go to these shoots and everyone knows me already and they have all these expectations and presumptions. It’s like a trap. I’m obligated to be the popular version of myself.”

“That’s being famous.” The couch cushion dipped next to him, and Uraya’s face became more clear in the reflection overlaying the far-below topography of Zadash. “Or so I’m told. I’m only the PA.” “The best PA,” Essek corrected. “Yes, yes, that’s understood every time I say it.” A pause. “You could call Verin.” “No.” “Deirta?” “Not looking for a lecture about the family legacy, thank you.” “Hm.” Essek laughed. “The list does run out rather quickly, doesn’t it?”

☔Is there a fic concept you have that you'd like to just explain and share because you're not sure you'll ever write it? If so, what is it?

Oh good question. Hmmmm I don't have a nice meaty fic concept to explain because I store those in my cheeks like a chipmunk does chestnuts for winter & the optimism of actually writing them someday. But! Sometimes my brain likes to process other media I watch by suggesting very niche crossover ideas. They don't have many legs to stand on other than the novelty of mashing worlds together, so they have the least momentum to mature into actual writing. For example:

Witcher crossover where Essek, Jester, and Caleb land in Witcher!verse? Excellent, inflict Essek and Yennefer on each other. The townsfolk probably would be alarmed by drow and tiefling looks, too, not being present in that world.

Riddick crossover purely for the fun of Essek with Darkvision looking at Riddick's silvered eyes and going "lol you're not special"? Great, put some of the M9 on a spaceship and have the fish-out-of-water experience. I like Essek and Fjord for that team-up, and maybe a hypothetical Fjorjester kid to activate Riddick's moral code about not endangering children.

Shadowgast wash up on a deserted island, their magic isn't working, and something is hunting them? Why yes I did rewatch some of the first season of Lost.

Anyway these are all in the "very indulgent snippet" kind of category, or maybe "brain movie to pass the time while you're in a boring meeting" stuff.

not to sound like a copycat, but my fave is also Mikey 🤭!! 2k12 has a special place with me because it was my intro to the turtles, but 2k3 is phenomenal- also, the 2007 movie whenever i want Leo & Raph angst lmao. that rooftop fight scene in the rain 💔 hmmmm okay SO initially my fave pair was Raph and Mikey, but then in my most recent rewatch, i was like 👀 the Leo and Mikey dynamic sooooo maybe a tie between those two?? but also pretty much anyone with Mikey is a+. it’s so hard to pick. and this isn’t a pair necessarily, but donnie pov things where he’s like analyzing his role/relationships- i am an absolute sucker for those.

ajsjasjsksk STOP ✋, you’re going to make me cry, i will legit never forget reading that scene for the first time and BAWLING. the movie is such a comfort movie, used to rent that sucker from the library, and now i stream it all the time. it’s nice to have on, even if i’m not actively watching hehe

okay, my turn to ask, if you’d like to answer!! which order did you get into them? for me it was, tmnt, the outsiders, and then batfam 😊

Ahhh that makes me so happy that you're also a Mikey stan! I have such fond memories of laughing while watching 2k12. I was sooo sad when Leo's original voice actor got fired and replaced though. His voice fit so perfectly with the other turtles. That's the one thing about 2k12 that makes me 😭. Well, that, and the season they spent most of in space. I preferred the NYC based seasons. But other than that, 2k12 was fun and angsty. Plus it had the cheese phone! *gasp* The cheese phone! Truly an emergency! It also had the scene of Tiger Claw trying to get Mikey, and Mikey just like... throwing himself off of the subway train or whatever the hell it was. Ahh that was a good season for some little Mikey hurt/comfort moments.

Ohh yes the famous Raph and Leo 2k7 movie fight. I'll be honest, I can't really stand the entire plot of that movie, and I also hate the fact that they cut the scene of Donnie telling Splinter he couldn't have any birthday cake bc of his health, and Mikey then sneaking Splinter a piece of cake 😭. 2k7 is also funny because it's Splinter being like, "Leonardo, you must go learn to be a leader by yourself in the middle of nowhere." And it's like, uh idk, sounds like he kinda needs a team to practice leading alksdja. Why did he even need to practice at all 😭.

Yeees the Mikey and Raph dynamic is stellar, and if you haven't read the IDW comics, I love the moments they have together in that as well. Lol now I'm thinking of that scene in 2k3 where Mikey was pretending to be hurt, and Raph was like, "What is it, Mikey?? I'm right here." And then Mikey just laughed at him ASLKDJA. Love when they annoy each other but also act soft/loving to each other.

I love Donnie and Mikey. They're the fun adhd/autism duo, and I love that some ROTTMNT stans refer to them as the smarts and crafts duo. Smarts and crafts 😭. That's so cute 😭. And yeees love Donnie POV things.

You stream it all the time?? Ahhh that's amazing. I actually have the complete novel version of the movie on DVD, I haven't watched it in a long time. I can't remember if it's the edited version or the novel version that has the shitty music 😭. You know what's funny though is that my phone ringtone is actually a song from the soundtrack. It's "Gloria" by Them and Van Morrison. Think it plays while Dally, Pony, and Johnny are walking to the movies and chase those little kids with the cards alsdkja.

Love that! For me, I know The Outsiders was first. I think I got into TMNT and batfam around the same time, so I can't remember which comes second. Did you get into batfam through comics or from one of the DC shows/movies?

Last Movie/TV Show: Doctor Who... i'm rewatching it with one of my best friends and its honestly such a comfort show for me! i don't really like the later seasons as much tho. last movie i watched was Shallow Grave (1994) for the first time and it was inchresting. ewan mcgregor's hair was pretty gender

Sweet/Spicy/Savory: i love sweet and savory things, especially together... i will add salt to my ice cream tbh

Relationship status: currently in a semi loving relationship with the rot

Last thing I googled: Raffaella Carrà, cause i just learned about her last night while we were watching Doctor Who and i read some of her wiki while listening to her music

Current Obsession: hmmmm... i think nier and drakengard atm, not as strongly as it was a bit ago but i still keep thinking about it. i'm currently playing nier automata for the first time since i got a controller and i'm also emulating drakengard 1 and i've been obsessed with the idea of playing it since i saw a clip of an ending in that game that led to the lore of the nier games. the nier raids in FFXIV led me down this path DSLGJSGKLDS i'm also very excited to play drakengard 3!

Last Book: i actually haven't read a book in years.. but i know it was The Hobbit and i finished it! lately i have been really wanting to get into reading again tho, preferably horror books! its just hard for me to get started

Looking forwards to: SEEING MY BEST FRIENDS IN MARCH!!! and eventually getting to live with them :3 oh and the silent hill 2 remake i guess

i just saw your post about the garcia getting shot plot line and i so agree

i think garcia deserves both morgan and alvez to worship the ground she walks on and treat her like the goddess she is

I haven't seen the episodes with Alvez either (just like with TWD, whenever I watch Criminal Minds, I have an obsession with rewatching the early seasons over and over again instead of just watching the whole show) - but I have seen the one clip where he's like "Garcia, you're the best... available!" and it just gives me such douchebag vibes.

Like I totally understand that the writers didn't want to repeat the dynamic she had with Morgan, but having someone needlessly clown on her is so... icky??? I am unsure how they ended up dating. Maybe I would get it if I watched those episodes, but the Morcia shipper in me is like - bring Derek back and have them get married.

Like how can you have someone say "Woman, you're my god given solace" and then they don't get married wtf THAT IS CRIMINAL

(Especially because even Gideon saw past her weirdness and told her she was appreciated for the very unique work that she did. So I don't understand someone being needlessly rude to her just to prove a point.)

But if Alvez is actually good for her, then she deserves a polycule of men who worship her. She is so perfect and like even the scene where she looks at the woman Derek is gonna marry and she's like "I'm not jealous at all!" it feels like the writers were holding her at gunpoint making her say that lmao.

Even recently, I was watching an episode (Cradle To Grave, I think is the one) - where Garcia says to Morgan "even though our genetically perfect interracial babies would not fetch top dollar on the black market" - like the writers are also acknowledging that part of the reason they don't pair Morcia together to get married and have babies is because they are an interracial couple. like that gives me the ick so fucking bad (if I remember correctly, all of his love interests on the show have been thin black women. like hmmmm. hmmmm. I fucking hate it)

also, okay, I went to look something up, and:

THERE'S AN ENTIRE SECTION ON DEREK'S WIKI DEVOTED TO PENELOPE, BUT NOT ONE FOR HIS CANON WIFE. HELLO ???

I have said it before, but it needs to be said again: Morcia is my Destiel. I was so hurt when I found out they never got together in the canon while being the most fucking obvious canon ship ever

hmmmm as for movies I recommend. At the time I was watching A Silent Voice and it really helped me deal with negative things that I was experiencing. Other anime movies are Kimi No Na Wa (Your Name) and Weathering With You are really good and comforting. Also any ghibli movie (i like ponyo, the secret of arietty, the cat returns and howls moving castle). As for other movies I like that are comforting and interesting is The Little Prince, The Adventures of Tintin, Hugo, Coraline, WALL-E (honestly a lot of pixar movies are pretty comforting), The Chronicles of Narnia, Alice in Wonderland (2010), etc etc. Like you dont have to watch these, but try out movies like them, rewatch movies from your childhood, watch movies that give you a sense of adventure and fun. You can even watch more adult movies if they give you comfort. And if you like anime like I do, I recommend watching some anime shows like ones made by kyoto animations (little busters, clannad, kanon (2006), and the melancholy of haruhi suzumiya), watch older anime like magical girl lyrical nanoha or princess tutu. If you havent seen much anime, I really recommend The Snow White with the Red Hair. anything like that can be just for fun, or has a slight dark twist or can be sad and can give you catharsis. There's plenty of things to enjoy. I don't know your tastes, but here's some of mine. I hope this helps. May good things happen to you. Hearts for you. <3333

This is a great list! I recently rewatched Kiki's Delivery Service on Tuesday while I was sick. Ghibli is some of my favorite comfort media. I have a habit of just rewatching the same stuff kver and over, and even though it's a comfort it can get stagnant emotionally and mentally

I definitely want to check out the anime films - I haven't watched much anime in a while and I'm grateful for the new recs! Maybe they'll get me out of my creative block, could use the catharsis.

Hey! I'm curious, what does your writing process normally look like? So for example how do you come up with ideas and build upon them? Everyone does this differently so I'm curious what this looks like for you! Thanks for entertaining this gay plebian's ask.

Hello, friend, thanks for the ask!!!! <3

I get ideas and inspiration from a ton of places! Main sources: other fanworks (art and fics and amvs and meta and shitposts...), discussions with friends, sitting down and closing my eyes and thinking "hmmmm what would be an extremely silly scenario I could make my faves have to deal with?", trying desperately to sleep and instead having intrusive fic thoughts, rewatching DS9 eps and trying to figure out the absolute minimum that would have to change/occur in order to get any given characters to kiss during or after the events of that episode...

As for the rest of the writing process, it varies a little bit but generally starts with me writing down bullet points about the key details/plot points of the fic (and I gotta do this quick, before I forget!). Then I start writing prose from whatever is the earliest point in the fic that is calling out to me, screaming to be written (and go back and fill in more setup later if it needs it), to get my momentum going. Or sometimes a part of the outline gets a little out of hand and turns into pseudo-prose bc I can't contain my excitement about that one bit, so I start by cleaning that part up and writing that part of the scene out while it's clear in my mind how I want it to go. Often my multichapter fics start with one chapter or moment clearly in my mind, and I have to, like, extrapolate the rest of the plot from there (which I sometimes do not figure out until a few chapters into the fic lmaooo! I cannot recommend highly enough starting a multichapter fic with a solid premise but no idea where the fic will go, and then coming up with the full outline only after you get your bearings by posting a few chapters hahahaha).

As I write, I skip over hard parts or stuff I haven't figured out yet and leave placeholder notes for myself. Then, after I've jumped around and written all the parts I'm excited about (which usually happens at about 75% of the eventual total word count of the fic), begins the less fun task of connecting/rearranging the disparate chunks and editing them for flow, internal consistency, and characterization lol. Well, I shouldn't say less fun, sometimes it's very fun and it can feel like solving a satisfying puzzle, but usually this part is much, much harder for me than the initial drafting stage (but it's usually a necessary step, for me anyway, bc I cannot ever seem to write fics from beginning to end without skipping over stuff, and usually my idea of how things should happen in the fic changes constantly).

Also, woven throughout all of this process is the CRUCIAL step of inundating my friends' DMs with my unhinged fic thoughts, and brainstorming solutions to plotholes/characterization issues with them, and testing out ideas/snippets on them, haha! I LOVE this part of writing tbh, the part where you tell people what you are writing (or simply what you want to write) and they say "bestie you are insane" and egg you on! ^_^ <3

I'M SORRY BESTIE I FORGOT YOU SENT THIS IN OUGH ,,,,,,, BUT THANK YOU FOR ASKING , i haven't watched stakes in a while , and haven't managed to rewatch it (even tho i really wanna - and tbh might do so here shortly ,, ) , but ,,,,,, hmmmm

going based off what i remember , and things i've seen others say , i really like how stakes can be representative of overcoming things ? for marceline , they use her vampirism , but anyone watching could replace "being turned into a vampire" with "a piece of me / something that happened to me" and see themself in her shoes . the whole wanting to escape from it / separate yourself from it , but in the end it's sort of ,,, gonna be a part of you . i wish i could elaborate , but i don't really remember enough to do so -- buuuuut if i rewatch it , maybe i'll come back to this and try to explain my thoughts better !!

i also think it's ,,, sooooo very something (/pos ?? ) that we get "everything stays" in this miniseries , since it's the . it's kinda the point . the "everything stays , but it still changes" i think can represent marcy's view towards her vampirism nicely ??? i don't know how to elaborate with words , and maybe i've just got a bad / incorrect grasp on it , but yeaaaa !!!

i also like the symbolic thingies in marceline's dreams !! i like that it's kinda blatant with them , and it doesn't really skip around or cut edges with how marcy feels . like the first dream establishing her fears regarding her vampirism . ALSO THE BIT WHERE SHE REMOVED HER FANGS AND FELL APART ???? holy shit . like she would lose her identity , she would fall apart , without her vampirism -- she's been marceline the vampire queen for so long , it's like ,,, who would she be if she wasn't ??

and her dream about simon and betty ?? makes me cry . i don't care how silly the little pie is . gosh . AND THE SONG IN IT ???? is honestly too underrated , and too short !!!! even if i'm guilty of forgetting about it sometimes , it's one of my favorite songs . something about it is just so ,,,,, ?? lovely ?? anyway , it shows AGAIN how much marcy really , truly , deeply loves and cares for simon . she just wants him to be happy -- and , ideally (for her , in that moment , ideally being : her [and simon] being human) she would be aging alongside him and betty . living life normally , as 3 normal people !! i thought the emphasis on them both aging was pretty neat in general , since ofc both she and ice king couldn't age (and hadn't for ?? 1,000-ish years ?)

auuguughuhgh and the last dream , ouguhghgh . i don't really know how to put feeligns towards this into words ??? but just yk , old marcy , and pb still being young and beautiful , and helping care for her ,,,,,, it's sweet in a way ? like when pb had said she'd be the one to "put her in the ground" when she got old and died -- pb is keeping her promise of sorts ,, ALSO THE GOSH DARN . "YOU USED TO CALL THEM WEEDS , AND YOU KILLED THEM ALL" - "BUT THEY WERE GROWING TOO TALL" gosh . goshhhh . it's just so purely pb . it's really good ,,,

I've been rlly craving some trashy teen tv lately but I have no idea what to watch

#the first person to suggest riverdale gets shot #by trashy I mean 'cheesy and low budget and meant solely for 14 y/o girls'#not something that'll give me actual brain damage #I could rewatch buffy #but I have trouble sitting through stuff I've seen before #unless I'm watching it with someone else #(bc that tricks my adhd brain into going)#('oh! this is other person's first time through!)#('therefore through vicarious enjoyment it's like it's new to me too!')#but it has been a while tho so hmmmm maybe could still work #might check out one of those bad urban fantasy shows that used to be popular #or one of the cw dc shows I haven't watched #never finished any of the ones I did see #could only get through a season or two before my brain started melting #but they were rlly fun while they lasted

i really think it would have been cool if the doctor figured out the mystery of ‘the timeless child’ herself, and the master had a different plot. obviously we don’t know exactly where its heading, so there may be more specific reasons behind these decisions, but i really do think it would have been much cooler if you had the doctor putting together clues across a season

#i also think that while fugitive of the judoon is an awesome ep #that i just.... don't get why ruth!doctor goes by 'doctor' or has a tardis in blue like that.... again could be reasons #but as it is it looks quite silly and like a plot hole from how it's been currently written hmmmm #i do hope (and to an extent think) that there HAS to be more to the idea OF the timeless child #like.... i am just concerned that chibs won't go as deep as this story requires for it to be properly good y'know?#it feels so shallow so far?? idk i haven't rewatched those eps for awhile so my perspective might change again #but i just have vibes suddenly bothering me lol #my post tag

Reviewing the Grishaverse Couples (Canon and Non-Canon/Alternate Universe) just because I can, here we go:

These are not based *strictly* on the books, but rather the Netflix show, which appears to have spawned ✨all the ships✨ as of late.

DISLAIMER: I don't hate any ships! And I won't tolerate any slander. Creativity is the core to all fandoms, and that's what shipping (canon or otherwise) is ultimately all about. Cool? Cool.

CANON COUPLES:

Darkling/Alina aka DARKLINA: What I came for TBH, though not necessarily what kept me watching through the end (damn you, episode 5! you got me so confused! ahhh but also corruption arc for Alina? hmmmm) Jessie and Ben have chemistry in spades, and Ben emotes well for an ancient asshat. These two have great fic potential.

Mal/Alina aka MALINA: Sweet! A little boring to me initially tbh, but much better on rewatch. They are each other's safe haven, and there's something really lovely about that. I like them together.

Kaz/Inej aka KANEJ: GOD TIER. THEY'VE RUINED EVERYTHING ELSE FOR ME. NOTHING EVEN COMES CLOSE. THE FUCKING PINING BITCH. HE LOVES HER. SO SO MUCH. 1000000000/10.

Full disclosure: I came for Darklina, but stayed for Kanej. And, at this rate, will happily suffer countless seasons where the most they do is maybe hold hands but also Netflix please let them heal their trauma together and kiss at least once for my poor shipper heart PLEASE

Nina/Matthias aka HELNIK: They're cute. Almost a little too on-the-nose with the tropes for me, personally, but the actors make it work.

Jesper/Stable Boy: Honestly? Good for Jesper. The only person on the show who actually managed to get laid onscreen. He deserves it.

Genya/David: Also very cute, though they don't necessarily occupy much brain space. I like that David is this awkward little dork but he's just. So good for Genya. It's very pure and she really needs that.

Darkling/Zoya: Zoya, baby, you deserve better. That said, I wish the show had explored their backstory a bit more. These two would clearly put the T in toxic (Aleksander largely being the one to blame here, of course).

Ivan/Feydor: As someone else put it, these two can be summarized simply by -- be gay and do crimes. They're real cute. If only they weren't Team Darkling.

NON-CANON/ALTERNATE UNIVERSE:

AKA time for some ✨multishipper controversy✨

Darkling/Inej aka DARKEJ: I am extremely biased since I've written for them, but honestly? I would like to convert you all. This pairing has POTENTIAL. The sinner and the saint, the immortal and the ordinary. Also they both have this elegant, shadowy grace to them. Bonus points? Kaz getting a whiff of this nonsense and meticulously planning how to cut up Aleksander into a million tiny little pieces lol.

Darkling/Kaz aka DARKAZ: Sexy. So so sexy. Not in a physical sense (for obvious reasons' on Kaz' end, unless you go AU with that aspect, too) but more a battle of brains. Would inevitably end with Kaz slitting the Darkling's throat, somehow as he should, lmao.

Kaz/Alina aka KAZALINA: I didn't understand this, initially. They barely interacted and Kaz seemed more the type to drag Alina by the kefta than woo her. However, I saw a bunch of people on TikTok attacking someone who made a fantastic AU video edit, (and by a bunch I mean at least two attack videos amassing 10K+ likes total) -- so now I ship it purely out of spite, LOL. It only works in an AU where Inej doesn't exist or Kanej is somehow still endgame, but you know what? The saint and the nonbeliever has some potential. I dig it.

Kaz/Jesper aka KESPER: There's some basis for it in the books. I do prefer them as friends (and come on! Wylan!) but again, I get it.

Jesper/Inej: I... want whatever y'all are smoking bc it must be AMAZING (I kid, I kid). While I can't fully claim to understand it, I love both characters, want nothing but the best for them, and am not entirely opposed to it given the right premise. And Jesper did say he'd kill a man for Inej pretty much without hesitation...

Kaz/Jesper/Inej: OT3 vibes. I haven't read anything with these three just yet but I think, done right, it could be absolutely perfect.

Inej/Alina: I feel like Inej's piety would actually get in the way of a true relationship but I think it's cute as a one-sided crush, Inej on Alina.

Mal/Inej: This one is probably the most random of the Inej ships, but I'm team "Give Inej All The Love" so I'll let this one slide. Also, Amita and Archie low-key have crazy chemistry off-set so again. I get it.

Mal/Kaz: ... does this even exist? Lol I think Mal would definitely drive Kaz up the goddamn wall

Mal/Darkling: Objectively hilarious to me on several counts LMAO (that fight scene at the end of episode 8 PLS). BUT there's a fine line between love and hate... maybe it's not Alina they were after but each other all along

Alina/Genya: Again, god-tier. Also, makes Genya's later betrayal of Alina extra tasty in my opinion. So yeah, add in a dash of heartbreak why not?!?

Alina/Zoya: Enemies to lovers excellence. Though Zoya clearly has some internalized self-hatred to work through (baby WHAT was that half-breed comment?), I don't hate it. Maybe some day...
