Jack is easily the most outgoing person in any room. He seems to always have energy despite having gone through rigorous training or having just returned from a week long operation. It's easy for Jack to spread this positive influence among his friends but people can find Jack annoying when his energy is misplaced.

Jack is cocky. She thinks she's hot shit. While she is performing quite well for her little experience, Jack is far from the best. Jack lives by the motto of 'Fake it till you make it'.

In addition to their cocky behavior, Jack is not the easiest recruit to deal with. Jack does follow orders when required of them, but that is about as far as they would go. Jack is purposefully leaving in their piercings or generally being a bit of a brat, all trivial matters, and giving his superiors headaches.

This however, does not stop Jack from being the most loyal recruit to his team. Jack always has an eye out for her fellow soldiers, even helping out her superiors when their hour of need arises. Jack always tries to make it even with anyone who's helped them.

- Skill Set -

Weapon(s) : Jack relies on questionable gadgets to help him out in fights, ranging from dummy grenades to dupe his enemies to flat out thermal weapons like Molotov cocktails. Now, Jack isn't able to use fire in battle, so he turns to bombs.

Combat Style : The skills Jack picked up are skills taught to her by her mentor(s). This means he's learning marksmanship and close combat.

Specialized skill : While Jack has no solid specialized skill as of yet, they have a really good pair of legs, being able to outrun and outjump nearly everyone.

- Background -

Jack had always known he wanted to protect the community. That and she really didn't see herself at a boring job till she retires. Originally, Jack had planned on becoming a firefighter, but soon Jack learned that her passion lied with fires, not putting them out. So, Jack opted for the military when he reached of age right after his family relocated to Britain.

In the military however, Jack found themselves in a less than desirable situation of being underestimated. For being so short and unfamiliar with the local customs. Jack vowed not to let this weigh him down, using is as fuel to pass selection.

Jack's loud persona soon caught the attention of a certain Lieutenant Ace. Jack doesn't understand that Ace saw a bit of his past self in them. Causing trouble and diving head first into problems without a second thought. Jack continued to train under Ace until he was told that she had been recommended into joining Task Force Cards. Jack would grow attached to Ace, thinking of him as a good friend and lowkey father figure to herself.

There, Jack met King. King doubted him from the get-go, but seeing it was Ace who insisted that Jack is a strapping young man with lots of potential to grow into a good soldier, Jack was them welcomed into the team. King would then learn that Jack was reckless, needlessly loud and outright rebellious. They both keep it barely civil, but don't interact outside of work.

Jack met Queen right after meeting King. King had assigned Queen to mentor Jack, not knowing Ace was already guiding Jack in his own ways. Jack takes in stride, weighing out that the two had valuable skills they could pick up. Despite Queen obviously trying to straighten out Jack, he didn't get shaped according to her norm. Jack didn't find himself liking Queen, but she was loyal to her despite it all.

- Additional Information -

Jack carries around a rope everywhere, being able to utilize this piece of material in many scenarios. Jack is looking to use it in fights after seeing the use of the Punjab Lasso in Phantom of the Opera. Though, Jack doesn't like to admit they found inspiration for it through theatre

Jack doesn't bother to hide his love for fire. Jack would carry at least one source of fire on himself, be it a lighter or a box of matches. Jack also makes her own bombs, building for a more fiery reaction when set off. Her goal is to one day be able to roast an enemy with fire instead of a bomb. Just your local arsonist fighting against the Geneva convention.

Jack is the easiest person, and often the go-to for companionship. Jack cracks the best jokes and laughs at his own lame jokes and funny shenanigans. Jack smiling widely is also very cute, which says even more when all their teeth are jagged and sharp. Jack is also the recruit the called Ace's smile weird. She stands by what she says.

I'm not really in the Hazbin/Helluva fandom nor do I consume their content as often. There is also the fact the fact their type of content isn't my usual content...

But you know the drill: Family stuff convinces me of anything, lol. Lucifer became an instant favourite character of mine. He was absolutely hilarious to watch, his relationship with his daughter made me emotional, and his song "More than anything" absolutely wrecked me gosh darn it! :'D

And with the implication that he might become part of the main cast gives me so much excitement for season 2.

Lucifer slowly growing to the idea of a sinner's redemption would also be cool. #Because let's be honest he doesn't seem to have hope for the sinners. He's not even into Charlie's cause considering how hesitant he was. #But he was still willing to help Charlie's dream even if he felt scared that she'll end up badly rejected like him. #So the idea of Lucifer slowly believing in that dream as he watches sinners actually try to redeem themselves sounds really cool #He would have a small glance of the good in people(or sinners in this case) and it gives him hope that things could get better. #And it was Charlie who showed him that hope. Who continued on his dream of bringing good. I watched the BC movie with friends and I have a lot of thoughts about it. I loved the animations, the voice actors, the fights, the teamworks. It’s a must watch movie for every Black Clover fan.

However the movie also reminded me why I think Clover Kingdom is a shitty hellhole of a place with no hope for changing and that Julius is an incomptent Wizard King and the Black Bulls should’ve been vigilantes or anti-heroes or their own self-proclaimed squad untied to the system that is built to discriminate them.

I like this series but it’s full of hypocrisy and pro-authority agenda that were only ever truly highlighted by Zora before he also ended up indirectly serving it.

long fucking rant about the joy of reading a good book. (not at all accurate title)

I just finished reading Felidae! incredible book I really love the story and- okay bear with me. I got the book a few years back because my mom mentioned reading it when she was younger. I told her I'd want to read it as well and she went through the painstaking process of finding it (which was not easy because the Author is a right fucking prick so his books aren't really sold anymore.)

so we found it on ebay eventually.( god knows I am not givin that author my money) I left it alone for a few years, had other shit to read and actually did not read much at all during that time...

right fast forward I decide I should read it because one of my terrible habits is starting thousands of things at once and never really finishing any of em. SO AND THIS IS WHERE IT GETS INTERESTING! I read the first 3 pages or so n talked to my mom and brother about it shortly, saying I liked the way it was written, the characters, the exposition, etc etc- AND at the mention of the plot my brother goes "oh! I've heard of that! it's the book that some german studio made into that horrifying animated movie adaptation!" AND IT ALL CAME CRASHING DOWN

because I remember what he meant because you KNOW tiny me with unrestricted internet access had seen some clips of the gory , disturbing cat-movie before! and you know what? I was unfortunate (or maybe fortunate , seeing how I'm a massive horror fan now) enough to watch "Watership down" as a kid so when I saw Felidae being ranked even HIGHER than that movie in those "ooh horrofying disturbing kids movieees ooh" lists, I swore I'd never watch it..

and here we are, I read that boook so fast and it is actually incredibly entertaining (i also just have never read a "krimi" before so I definitely have a high appreciation for the genre now)

I am incredibly excited to watch the movie. JUST AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH a 2D animated thriller-detective cat movie with horrorfying scenes and absurd amounts of gore??? COUNT ME IN TL:DR : I realize that reading is fun if you actually have a good book to read and obsess over the story of a cat solving a series of cat murders

Kira's here to ramble about his King more, so here we go folks.

This is high key important to stuff to Kumo's characterization.

Kumo's end goal is to assume control of Wonderland and take the throne so he can become Wonderland's next reigning King. However in order to do this, he knows he has to be the one to bury the White Devil once and for all. Kumo does not believe the ends justify the means. Kumo does not think that any amount of life is worth fighting Chaos and he thinks the idea of throwing lives away in the name of fighting Chaos is foolish and idiotic.

Chaos feeds off negative emotion, so causing more damage, turmoil and death is the exact opposite of what they should be doing in his eyes. He spent over a decade living with the beast, so he knows it well. He knows how it functions and how it thinks. He's been subjected to being it's play toy for 12 years. Kumo was reduced to being Chaos' pet in order to survive and in that time, he did everything he could to understand the monster on a deeper level so he could combat it more efficiently. Even when it was killing him.

Every death is a win for Chaos. But he doesn't believe that the emotions themselves should be punished, but instead that Chaos and Chaos alone should earn his ire.

Kumo's end goal is to take the throne and lead Wonderland, so he can unite the scattered sectors, and bring hope and prosperity to the people of Wonderland. Healing Wonderland is the greatest blow they can make against Chaos.

Chaos does not feed on worlds it is not connected to. It only feeds on worlds that it has connected to Wonderland either via a Pillar of Darkness or mass world destruction and absorbing it into Wonderland. Therefore if you are inside Wonderland, Chaos is feeding on you. Healing Wonderland is stripping away Chaos' main food source.

Kumo's goal here is to effectively stare Chaos to death. He knows he cannot stop negativity. That's impossible, but destroying life to prevent it is both idiotic and arrogant, and those means will never be justified for any reason. It makes him just as demonic as Chaos is. The greatest weapon he has against Chaos is healing both Wonderland and himself.

This is literally a situation of love triumphs all because love is something that Chaos cannot thrive off of. Chaos cannot live off love and knows nothing of it. He's been planning this war against Chaos for ages and slowing but surely he's putting the pieces in place. This is one very complex game of chess and Kumo is moving his pieces very carefully and deliberately, and he's doing it in a way that costs as few lives as possible.

This is not fight fire with fire situation. He is working to put out the fire because hatred against hatred only makes the problem, worse.

Kumo was raised to lead and he intends to do so. He's a brilliant strategist and should never for any reason be taken lightly.

FOR THE GREY WARDENS!!!!!!!!!!!! GO KING ALISTAIR GOOOOO #anyway time to load in and do this one battle again i was almost finished with it >:((( #oh also HOLY SHIT RIP RIORDAN like i knew he had to die because the sacrifice is up to me but NOOO I WAS SCREAMING #also i had planned earlier to do morrigan's ritual (male warden) but when actually making the decision.... it was hard #i was thinking of what my warden would do. that he was totally ready to make the Sacrifice if he had to. and protect alistair the soon-king #but in the end i decided that zevran was more important to him than following honor in this situation #in death; sacrifice. but not today #also speaking of pre-made choices i almost backed out on: i also planned to have alistair rule alone #and he is! thats what ended up happening and im happy with it. but i sat there for like 15 minutes debating with myself #on if i should marry him to anora and have them rule jointly or not #but no :) maybe another playthrough #i LOVED the cutscene of alistair executing loghain. who can deny his ascension when he beat the snake in an honorable duel #ugh i know im ranting but ive never played or even seen videos of the landsmeet and the battle of denerim before and im SO EXCITED #YOU!! Also though I think via last post, emotional silly liveblogging is kind of expected anyway. Nice pretty well weighed meta is impressive but it's not liveblogged in the moment usually. (Also people liveblog being angry at a scene in the moment Because it's meant to make u angry, even as in the long term they appreciate it for making them angry and making a brilliant thematic point - like Bai Lin being so awful and abusive and violating I coukdnt stop screaming seeing him, an excellent subversion of the usual xianxia romantic lead turning it into the villain. Or people love waxing poetic on a ship when it's overall a very small part of their appreciation of the material, like me with pingxie I do care about it but it's a very small part of my enjoyment of dmbj, or even weilan while written to hit very specific things I enjoy I actually love the mutants as metaphors and commentary on society Guardian does and that alone would have made it one of my favorite shows so Zhao yunlan being bi like me and a romantic relationship hitting as much I enjoy as theirs and as close as spirk like theirs is just extra wonderful but not the only thing I care about by far, etc. Liveblogging just tends to skew emotional reaction and quick fun tidbits one notices - or painful ones lol). At least that's what I assume is sometimes the case...

#rant #also fyi i love when mutuals liveblog. bothing makes me intrigued by a show #like incomprehensible but interestjng commentary on something ive got no context for but sounds Intriguing #all the cang lan jue liveblogging prepared me zero percent for how GREAT #it is as a xianxia doing things nuanced and not traditional and doing them exceptionally well #jnstead the liveblogging was very surface level demon king and fairy tropes. but it got me to check it out so im very happy it did!! #gay vampires being messy is gonna get people into iwtv #and i do enjoy that part. but i think the meat of iwtv #is more louis grand view of morality and good and evil and guilt and himself ans his loved ones and furure and past #which i relate to greatly. and its interaxtion with and contrast to lestats broken relationship with belief in other things #to lestats impulsive here and now and good is what we want and outside of that morality is unimportant #and claudia as a character study all her own is intricate and emotionally a lot #thats the real draw. but if gay fucked up vampires is an intro. it def would get me to chexk it out. u know what i mean
