Glamour and Fat Absorption QM please?
New Quirk Name: Seep In
This Emitter type Quirk activates when someone touches the user. When they do, the user causes the target to start mentally sinking into an illusion. This puts them in a dream state, becoming more vivid and detailed the more the user makes contact with them, such as hug being able to target all five senses. The user can apply this to multiple targets at a time. The user can project out lesser versions of this from their body, able to make minor visual and auditory illusions around their body up to a five-meter range, becoming more affective the closer they are to the user. This gives the user a good subterfuge tool, able to trick and subdue their foes with various illusions. If nothing, it can make the user good at hugs. Though using this Quirk does burn through the user's fat reserves as they use it. especially when making contact with someone. Targets cannot be harmed by the illusions and the user will need to get close to make the most of it.

Hero Shine vs Honda Glamour: The 125cc Battle
Tumblr media
You must be fully aware that both bikes are commuter bikes. Gone are the days when Hero had a JV with Honda. But now, they operate separately after dissolving their partnership in 2011. Furthermore, in terms of sales, as of October 2022, Hero bikes top the chart, followed by Honda bikes. Just so you know, the Hero Glamour also has a feature-loaded trim called the Glamour XTec. Unlike the non-XTec variant, the XTec variant is slightly different in dimensions and features. But coming back to their differences, let's see how these two bikes stack up against each other. Their prices are also more or less the same, which you'll get to know later in this article. So, let's read on.

Specifications
As for specifications, both bikes carry a 125cc engine. For starters, let's talk about the Honda Shine bike.
The Honda Shine carries a 123.94cc engine displacement with a peak power of 10.59bhp and 11Nm of peak torque. This bike gets engine output from a five-speed manual transmission. Further, it has a slightly bigger fuel tank capacity of 10.5 litres than the Glamour's 10 litres.

On the flip side, the BS6 engine of the Hero Glamour with 124.7cc displacement can churn out 10.7bhp and 10.6Nm of torque. The fuel tank capacity of this bike is 10 litres. The front wheel receives power via a five-speed manual transmission. Other Hero bikes receive the same powertrain as the Hero Glamour, such as the Super Splendor and the Hero Glamour XTec. Moreover, both bikes get air-cooled engines.
As for fuel efficiency, the Hero Glamour's real-world mileage is 55kmpl. It is more or less the same as the Honda Shine's real-world fuel efficiency. Please note that ARAI-claimed figures aren't available. However, autoX will do its best to provide owner-reported mileage for your dream vehicle.

On the safety front, the Hero Glamour has a standard IBS feature. For your reference, the acronym IBS stands for Individual Braking System, while CBS stands for Combined Braking System. The former is relatively riskier than the latter system. The CBS feature applies brakes to the rear and front wheels to prevent skidding or stoppie. The Japanese bikemaker has kept the CBS feature standard across the variants of the Honda Shine. Considering the Honda Shine's price, bikemakers usually don't offer the CBS feature at that price range. However, it lags in terms of features as compared to Hero Glamour.

In terms of features, the Honda Shine is nowhere near the Hero Glamour. However, at the same time, the top-of-the-line variant of this Honda bike also lacks several features, unlike the Hero Glamour.
The top variant of Glamour gets a digital instrument cluster with Bluetooth-enabled connected bike technology. There is also a USB charging port and a standby alarm.
The Hero Glamour also features an all-LED light setup, while the Honda Shine has halogen lights. The former doesn't get the kill switch, while the latter has it.
The Honda Shine also gets a silent start with ACG, whereas the Glamour doesn't.

Prices and Variants
The Japanese bikemaker recently launched the Celebration Edition with two new colour options for the Honda Shine. Further, this bike has four variants: Drum, Celebration Edition Drum, Disc, and Celebration Edition Disc.
The Honda Shine's ex-showroom price starts at Rs 78,414 (New Delhi).
The Hero Glamour, on the other hand, also has six variants: Drum, New Drum, Drum Black and Accent, Disc, New Disc, and Disc Black and Accent. Moreover, the Hero Glamour's price starts at Rs 78,018 and goes up to Rs 84,138. These are ex-showroom prices, New Delhi, as of November 2022.  For more information, visit the autoX website.
