One trend about mha chat fics that I love but also don't think would happen is Bakugo trying to always leave the chats. Because let's be honest. He wouldn't leave. I don't think he'd even mute it. Because this is the same boy who lingered to make sure the raid students were okay after their mission. The same boy who after waking up from a 2 day coma immediately wanted to know if everyone was okay. And I mean everyone. Not just his own classmates.
So as funny as it is I don't think for a second he'd leave a group chat in the event something happened. Even if 90% of it just consists of random shit he doesn't care about.

what ghost haunts you?
the ghost of devotion .
your body was crafted to be loved and to be adored. you write with the touch of a poet, the fingertips of a lover. if you are not loved, you are not whole. you are made to be sculpted by the hands of another into something perfect. without their love, you feel as though you may crumble without the support of purpose their touch provides. when ernest hemingway wrote “it was too good to last.” when ocean vuong wrote, “i miss you more than i remember you.” when david foster wallace wrote, “everything i’ve ever let go of has claw marks on it.”
the ghost of the damned .
you rot with the need for something more than what you have. the ghost is built up of the feeling of stagnation. you find it staring at the ceiling with sleep - blurred vision ; this is the third night you have met its eyes in the early hours of the morning. you tear yourself apart looking for comfort, for validation, for acceptance. but it never feels quite enough. you ruin everything you touch, despite every attempt to be more than what you have always been. you would sculpt yourself as something perfect for those around you, but you are no artist. when albert camus wrote, “be silent, heart; there is no hope!” when lucille clifton wrote, “maybe i should’ve wanted less. maybe i should’ve ignored the bowl in me, begging to be filled.” when taylor swift said, “i’m still on that tightrope, i’m still trying everything to get you looking at me.”

I don't have the Expac but I glean much of what I know of it from mutuals + other external factors.
But I'm lowkey drowning in feels thinking about this new arc being a new beginning, with Viil slowly working his way out of active duty as Dragon Champion and returning to a more passive life as he perhaps takes the time to genuinely live his life as his own person. In a broader sense, him taking Fu Kua under his wing for this new "era".... It's a nice mirror to years ago when the Founding Commander, Nohsi, first took Viil under his wing.
[More SotO specific blurbs under the cut. It is very spotty tho bc I don't know the actual story solidly. It is also very rambly and possibly difficult to read.]
Speaking of Viil, the one post mentioning the cultish vibes messed me up a bit thinking of Viil
Like. It wasn't his first rodeo because he had to deal with The Shining Blade... and hell, the biggest harm done to him was by the Sons of Svanir! And I mean...sure, he was more actively harmed by the Svanir instead of conscripted into their fold but it...you know, It's a traumatic experience nonetheless.
And I think him seeing and just...realizing what happened to Zojja all that time that she was absent? It activates... something in him. I honest to god forget what it's called but... Viil always had that Savior complex ever since he himself was saved from death years ago... and I think it would've been ringing alarms in his head when faced with Zojja's situation.
I think, I have less then coherent thoughts but rather, imagery in my mind. I could just imagine the now weary Viilhelm, no longer his over-the-top self, having a moment of pause as he gets lost in his thoughts....his violet eyes are more blue than red, and perhaps he's being uncharacteristically transparent with his discomfort and anxiety as he realized all of that

I think Kingdom Hearts is a lot easier to understand then people make it seem.
I started on KH3 and essentially played the games backwards, and I would say that I have a fairly good understanding of the series.
Plot holes, ongoing plot threads and miscommunication between characters not counted. Maybe I’m looking into this too much, but it really shouldn’t be so difficult to understand the story/ lore.
Now, if you’re wanting to learn/ understand the series and don’t know where to start, that’s understandable, people don’t always make understanding it easy.
I have terrible reading comprehension, so why does it seem so easy for me to understand what’s going on in KH? Seriously, I don’t get it. This series is easier to understand than physics and philosophy for me.
I only got into Kingdom Hearts in early 2020, so I’m fairly new to the franchise. But I have been watching and playing Yu-Gi-Oh! since the first season of Arc V (not due to anything wrong with the previous series, but because I was sheltered as a kid and only discovered it’s existence when Yuto died while I was bored and Teletoon just happened to be on) and my second watch of Bonds Beyond Time (I skipped the theme songs in the credits the first time, who knew a song could spark your interests in shows).
I have a lot of questions for the Kingdom Hearts fandom, but most of those are due to my lack in understanding of humans. I just don’t understand this species, and that can affect my ability to understand why somebody just doesn’t get something.
For in-universe character examples:
In Kingdom Hearts, Roxas and Vanitas look like Ven and Sora respectively, Axel/ Lea pointed out Roxas and Ventus, and Sora, Vanitas & Ven have —in some way— pointed out Vanitas’ similarities to Sora. However, no one has actively mistaken any of them for each other, yet.
In Yu-Gi-Oh! Arc V, everyone is constantly mistakening the counterparts for one-another. Despite knowing that Yuya (the Sora of the show) can not perform Extra Deck special summons(Fusion, Xyz, Synchro), Yuzu(or Zuzu in the Dub; aka the Kairi) isn’t able to recognize that Yuto(the Roxas) is not Yuya. This is in spite of the fact that Yuya has red eyes & red and green hair(shaped as a tomato) while Yuto’s hair is black and purple & he has dark grey eyes. This was only the first time. It takes nearly 20 episodes before Yuzu and Yuya actually talk to and formally meet Yuto.
Why did I mention this?
If we put Sora, Roxas, Ventus and Vanitas in place of Yuya, Yuto, Yugo and Yuri respectively in the predicament(?) surrounding the Yu-Boys, it reflects the way people react/behaviour irl to the many Sortas, Kairis and Xehanorts. It probably reflects this badly, but it reflects it nonetheless.
Sora and Roxas are constantly being called the other throughout KH2 (and late game Days), Yuya is accused of hospitalizing Sylvio Sawatari because nobody can apparently remember that Yuya can not Xyz Summon (‘cept Declan).
Sora is constantly reacting to the Heart Hotel’s hearts resonating, Roxas also had a few moments where it happened. After “absorbing” Yuto, Yuya would react to Yuto’s feelings, often triggering an Awakening (or “going berserk”). (More on this later) I think the parallels are neat.

so either last night or the night before I had a dream and my fav boy steven made a vrief appearance. something had been going on in the dream and I was like "let me check on something" and I don't remember the exact conversation but I distinctly remember being on my phone and then I'm getting a phone call from a contact that is saved in my phone as "Steven <3" and it was my favorite gift-shoppist, his accent and everything. We only talked for a few seconds but I can't stop thinking about that part of the dream
