Texas authorities say a 12-year-old Houston girl who disappeared for over a week, allegedly with a 27-year-old kidnapping suspect, was using a dating app called Tagged.

The girl was reported missing Feb. 22, when she was seen getting into a vehicle in the 7700 block of Waterchase Drive in Missouri City, Texas, around 1:40 a.m.

On March 1, Columbus Police were informed the suspect may be in their city limits and ultimately found and "attempted to detain" Sirterryon Preston "in reference to having possession of the missing juvenile," Columbus Police said in a press release.

"Preston attempted to flee police custody but was captured and arrested," police said. The suspect is charged with evading arrest and was taken to the Colorado County Detention Facility. Authorities are eyeing more charges pending an FBI investigation into the girl's disappearance.

Tagged, a dating app for people 17 years or older, is owned by the Meet Group, the dating app network company behind MeetMe, hi5, LOVOO, Growlr and Skout.

"We were deeply saddened to learn the news of [the girl's] disappearance and are relieved by her safe return," the Meet Group told Fox News Digital in a statement. "Nothing is more important to us than the safety and well-being of the community on our platforms every day. As such, we proactively reached out to Houston law enforcement to offer any assistance we could as soon as we became aware of the situation."

The Meet Group noted that Tagged's policies "prohibit minors" from using its dating apps, and the company utilizes "both technology and manual analysis to help check for minors who may have registered for our platform using a false age.

"Should we be made aware of any attempts to circumvent our process, we thoroughly investigate any report involving a possible minor user or child exploitation," the company added. "We invest significantly in these efforts, and while we know that, sadly, there is no way to make this process completely infallible, we are continuously evolving to stay at the forefront of best-in-class safety practices."

Dr. John DeGarmo, founder and director of the Foster Care Institute, told Fox News Digital children will often turn to dating apps and other platforms to get attention when they are not receiving enough love or attention at home. 

"I think all dating sites present a risk to children," DeGarmo said. "I know Tagged has some type of policy where they don't allow kids under the age of 17, but how many children, like this girl here, are on it? I imagine there are thousands of children on these sites."

Sexual predators are also on dating sites looking to groom minors, DeGarmo added.

The child safety advocate said parents should have regular conversations with their children about the dangers of dating apps and social media platforms in general, where predators may be seeking to connect with minors. Parents should also monitor their children's activity online, he said.

"Parents have to be vigilant with their children in a number of matters. … Parents have to form strong, healthy relationships with their children so their children are not looking for these relationships elsewhere," DeGarmo said, adding that children coming from broken homes or who don't have "loving parental figures" will look for "what they are lacking in their life" on social media and dating websites.

Kris Perry, executive director of Children and Screens: Institute of Digital Media and Child Development, told Fox News Digital "there is limited existing research into how many teens are using dating apps, much less the risks or outcomes of this use."

"There is evidence that predators target minors through social media apps, knowledge that has guided some of the recommended protections we see in legislation such as the Kids Online Safety Act," Perry said. 

"We can reasonably expect that dating apps are no different, except that for many of these apps, users are supposed to be at least 18. Without knowing many details, this case (and many like it) are examples of why we need a stronger understanding of how youth may be using these apps, what risks may exist and what changes can be made to create safer online experiences."

I have been doing some serious self-reflection over the past few years, and one thing I keep telling myself is to never give up is my nature to love and help anybody I come across, regardless of whether or not they return the love.

I was always willing to listen, and I never wasted a moment helping others. That's because I had a head start, which I fully appreciate.

For many years, I have been accessible online; if you were having a terrible day or needed assistance of any kind, I was always here for you to talk to.

I was the Ayya you could always come to for advice when you were younger, and I never made any assumptions about you or what you had done.

If I could, I would stop what I'm doing and lend a hand.

I'll be there to give you morale boost. Good luck to you! I'd be there for you mentally, imagining a bright future and telling you all about it.

In time, Life happened, I had to focus on my vision, I wanted everyone of you near. I chose the name MyCity because of this same reason.

So, I had to gradually distance myself from everyone, not because I stopped caring, but because I value our friendship and want to ensure it lasts forever.

Tumblr app has been glitching for me for the past 2 months so I have completely stopped using it on my phone recently

some people are deep in denial and acting so high and mighty. that's fine. but stop tagging yuzu*ier with the main yuzuru tag!

I blocked the yuzu*ier tag. may the crop never appear on my screen again.

have you ever wanted to date a Kardashian- woods demars

The morning sky was dark and cold, not ready to fill the world with warmth from the sun as the day had come to an early start. A fit of groans and whines pulled themselves from the blanket- a figure desperately trying to cling to some much needed sleep.

but alas, a loud annoying beeping started to float across the room- (y/n)’s alarm clock rolling off her dresser and scooting around the floor on motorized wheels. It was moments like this when she somewhat regretted buying the stupid device. 

finally pulling herself out of the comfortable and warm depths of pillows and blankets, the girl padded across the room- looking for the alarm clock as it steered under her bed, it might be worth mentioning that the alarm became increasingly louder the longer it was on.

As her knees hit the floor ad her annoyance took over, (y/n) grabbed the clock and smacked the snooze button- sighing in relief as her thoughts were no longer drowned by the screeching alarm.

placing it back on the dresser as she headed into the bathroom, (y/n) saw that it was only 5:30 am. A growl leaving her lips. She had work at 8:00am but because she lived so far, it was quite the journey to make it on time.

The girl’s annoyed frown deepened as she caught sight of herself in the bathroom mirror. A pink tinge on her nose and her cheeks were flushed. Dark circles sinking into her eyes and chapped lips threatening to crack.

And now she was sick.

From the bedroom, (y/n)’s phone dinged with a message alert. Her boyfriend woods was just saying good morning and hoping she was feeling somewhat better.

The previous night he had been over to make her soup and give loads of cuddles, knowing his girl was sick made his stomach twist with worry. 

Her phone felt familiar in her palm as she replied almost instantly. “Feeling worse, but I still have to go in today- might ask matt if i can take off early thought :) “ she was hoping her boss wouldn't mind and that woods wouldn't become too protective.

After emptying her stomach into the toilet, (y/n) turned the shower on, chills raking down her body as she stepped into the hot water and sighed in relief. The heat and steam helped relieve the ache in her muscles while clearing her sinus congestion slightly- giving her at least a foundation to start putting herself together for the day. 

Drying her hair was a task due to the hairdryer making her headache pound, applying makeup just didn’t seem tempting. However, she had to admit, putting a slight amount of foundation to cover the redness in her face made her feel better.

(Y/N) was a Production assistant at a YouTube Studio called HI5, she had been there for a little less than a year after her best friend Samantha or better known as Sam got her a job. They had proposed an idea for a channel called totally trendy to their boss which luckily got green-lit. 

Today’s video they planned on filming was a Kardashian makeover. It was Sam’s idea but (y/n) thought their audience might enjoy it. They were still learning and getting used to everything... the only issue was that they needed a model.

Tanner was the first person that popped into mind since he was usually down for anything. Or maybe CJ. Or one of the girls in the office like Cat, Or sierra. 

Suddenly as (Y/N) pulled her hoodie on and finished getting dressed she came up with an idea. A smile graced her lips for the first time that morning, getting something to eat on her way out the door and locking up behind her.

The drive was surprisingly not as heavy as usual, making (Y/N)’s life easier she had managed to make it early enough so that she could go and buy breakfast for her office mates, which just happened to be Woods, Sam, and Cat. But she would obviously buy something for sierra too. 

they were always the early birds. 

When (y/n) arrived around 7:40am, she was really happy to see that sam was already there making sure their space was cleaned up to film and that they had their checklist done.

The girl had a box of coffee in her arms along with some donuts and disposable cups. waving to sam as she passed their office- woods rounded the corner and almost knocked into the girl.

“Oh! hey, let me help you before you drop something.” the boy laughed as he took the coffee from her arms and let her set everything down in the break room. Soon people were flooding in to get their share so the two had to grab something quickly then escape the horde.

they were sitting in the office preparing for the day when woods frowned. “You know... you look really sick- is there any reason you couldn't take a day off other than the video?” his voice was laced with concern and he just wanted what was best for his girlfriend.

She actually looked somewhat better, Her eyes weren’t as dark and she had more colour in her face compared to the morning. “Trust me its all good...” she trailed off and had a sneaky little smirk.

“But you know what would make me feel better?” the girl teased leaning in slightly as she looked up at woods with adoration, capturing his gaze and watching his curly brown hair fall into his face.

the boy smirked and went to lean in. “a kiss?” he asked cockily, only for his lips to be smushed against (y/n)’s palm as she giggled. 

shaking her head, she pulled away and watched as he frowned. “I was hoping you would be the model for Sam and I’s video today?” she gave him her signature puppy eyes.

Woods went on for a good 10 minutes about why he WOULD NOT be apart of it, but after some persuading and promises from his girlfriend, the man-child caved. He would do anything for her and that was obvious- he just wanted to have his little diva moment.

“Just make sure you don’t buy me a cheap wig.” Woods told both girls quite seriously.

Once sam heard the news, they had got right to work, finishing the last minute edits for that week’s video before setting it to upload- Cat being the one in charge in case their upload failed. 

it was 11:00am by the time they finally got out of the studio to head off, the two girls got into sam’s car and had the channel’s credit card so that they could buy the products they needed.

“Do you think this is wood’s shade?” Sam asked as she picked up a bottle of foundation, they were at CVS and decided to grab a few things. The idea was to go for a more sleek business woman Kim K look.

Their little basket was full by the time they were finished, different powders and brushes along with the makeup of course. Their final stop was going to be party city where they would Buy woods a wig.

Unfortunately, Woods did in fact end up getting a cheap wig. 

The drive back to the office was quite long, (Y/N)s DayQuil finally kicking in and almost knocking the girl out as she slept pretty much the whole way. Sam having to shake her when they arrived.

Meeting with Woods in orange base, they set everything on the table- (Y/N) had decided to go search for an outfit in the prop closet while sam did wood’s makeup, when she got back and saw him in the wig- she couldn’t help but laugh, almost keeling over at his facial expressions as he “posed”

She was carrying the red dress that tanner wore for his bachelors video in her arms. “I thought this might work.” she sniffled through her laughter. Woods smiled up at her but told them both that was a line he wouldnt cross, which the girls respected.

Woods was checking himself out in the mirror when he turned and smirked at (Y/n). 

“Hey babe? have you ever wanted to date a Kardashian?”

Summary: You’re Roze’s sister and you decide to visit her office one day to be met by a blonde vlogger with the same humor as you

“What is up you guys? Today, I am with my sister (y/n)!” Your older sister pans to you and you smile and wave at the camera. 

“Today is a family visiting day so I decided to finally show my lil sis around the office.” 

“I’m super excited.” You say and she turns the camera back towards you once more. “Roze has been talking about her job for ages and I’ve always wanted to visit!”

“So we’re gonna grab some coffee and then head out!” 

She turns off the camera and the two of you head to the closest starbucks before heading out. You and Roze were super close sisters growing up. The two of you always hung out and rarely fought. 

When she started working at Hi5 you saw less of her and that sucked for a while. But now that you finally have your own car, you were able to see her more. She always talked about how much fun her job was and that she could finally live her dream and you were beyond proud. 

Growing up, Roze was always singing or playing the guitar. You could be sitting around in your living room doing nothing and she’d just starts singing a random lyric. It was one of your favorite things about her and you loved listening to her voice. 

“You excited to meet everyone?” She asks as she drives. 

“Oh definitely. From your vlogs and the stories you’ve told me they definitely sound like interesting people.” 

“You’ll definitely get along with Sam and Woods the most. They’re a lot like me.” 

“Well I can’t wait.” You say. Roze drives for a few more minutes before pulling into a small building complex. You look around and spot some familiar things from vlogs but overall the buildings were completely unknown to you. 

As she pulled into her spot you feel a wave of anxiousness pass through you along with excitement. You were always a bit nervous meeting new people but you had a feeling that someone you would meet here would be very important to you. 

“Let’s start in red base. I’ll show you around my office and the studio.” 

We head towards one of the bigger buildings and Roze pulls out her camera. She tells it that we’re headed to chill records and that you would be meeting the famous Michael Badal. 

As you walk around, you’re quick to fall in love with the vibe of the studio. The art covering the walls was simple but definitely a chill aesthetic. Everyone around the office greeted you with big smiles that you were happy to return. 

“Now, the reveal of chill records.” Roze says pointing the camera towards you. She backs up into the office and your jaw drops upon seeing the finished studio. 

Like the rest of the studio, it was simple but an aesthetic. The walls were covered in a light brown tile and a microphone stood in the middle of the room. On the other side, was an elaborate set up that you couldn’t navigate for the life of you. 

“And the famous! Michael Badal!” Mike waves to the camera and when he sees you he introduces himself. 

“I’m (y/n). Roze’s little sister.” You respond. “Your set up is sick.” 

“Do you know how to work it?”

“Oh no way. I wish though.” 

Mike offers to teach you a few things and Roze insists on it so she can get some b-roll. Mike explains some of the buttons and knobs and what they do. He then plays a beat and teaches you how to change a few things on it. 

After a few more minutes of playing around on the system, you and your sister decide to head out. Next up, was a quick stop to orange base. Rekt was shooting for the day and Roze wanted you to see them film.

When you walk into orange base, it seems deserted at first until you get to the warehouse. Before entering, your sister hands you a pair of safety glasses and you quickly slip them on and follow behind her. 

The minute she opens the door, you hear a bunch of yelling and just as you walk in, a loud crash sounds from your right causing you to jump. 

“I probably should have warned you about that.” She says and you nod. 

“Roze!” Gunner yells and she waves to him. “Who’s this?” 

“Everyone, this is my sister (y/n).” Roze introduces you and you smile and wave. 

“Do you watch Rekt?” Woods asks and you shrug your shoulders. 

“On and off.” Woods smirks before turning and grabbing a random object and tossing it over to you. You just barely catch it and just as you’re about to ask why he threw you this he speaks. 

“Hey (y/n)? Does that bounce?” Out of the corner of your eye you watch Roze turn away as you lift your arm and throw the object onto the ground. 

“Ooh! Maybe you can join Rekt with a break like that!” Roze says before walking over and high fiving you. After watching the guys continue the video for a bit longer, you and Roze duck out. 

“How do you like it so far?” She asks as you walk. 

“I love it!” While walking over to blue base, the feeling that something was going to happen increases. Normally, you would brush away this type of gut feeling but it was so strong you couldn’t ignore it. 

“This is the common office.” Roze says upon walking into blue base and hanging a left. “It’s  where Sam films totally trendy. 

Upon walking into the room, you see Sam talk animatedly to a camera but stops when she sees the two of you. 

“Hey Roze! Who’s this?” She asks gesturing towards you and you wave. 

“I’m (y/n).” 

“Oh hi! Roze has told me so much about you!” 

“What are you filming?” Roze ask and Sam tells us that it’s another cake pop video. 

“Cake pops are my weakness.” You tell her and she smiles. 

“Wanna help me make some?” 

You nod in response and Sam tells you where everything is and you grab the ingredients so you can start making. As you’re working, Roze tells you she’s gonna dip for a little bit but will be back soon. 

“Do you mind being on camera?” Sam asks as you’re finishing up mixing the cake ingredients. 

“Not at all!” 

She grabs her camera from the desk and hits record. She introduces you before telling them that the cake pops are almost ready and soon we’ll start decorating. 

After we finish up decorating, Roze comes back in just as we’re filming the outro. She tells me we’ll finish up the tour and then head out to lunch. You big your goodbyes to Sam and walk away, happy to make a new friend. 

“Okay the last few people you are meeting are, Tanner, Paul, and Matthias.” She says leading you upstairs. 

You meet Matt first, accidentally running into him as he leaves his office. The two of you talk for a bit about school and what Roze does here before he quickly heads out. 

You then turn into the last office and your feeling of urgency returns. As it washes over you, your eyes lock with a blue eyed beauty. You briefly hear Roze tell you that this is Paul and Tanner but you realize you’re staring too long and offer an awkward smile. 

“Hi.” You say and Tanner flashes you and reassuring smile. “I’m (y/n).” 

“Hey.” He greets. “I love your shirt.” You look down to see you’re wearing an old Spider-Man t-shirt. 

“Thank you!” 

“Have you seen the new movie yet?” He asks. The two of you then launch into a conversation about the new marvel movie. 

“Uh (y/n)? Do you want to go to lunch?” Roze asks bringing your attention back. 

“Uhm yeah.” You respond. 

“Can I come with?” Tanner asks and you begin to smile again. 

“Why don’t you two go out alone?” Roze suggests and you whip around to give her a look. 

“It’s fine.” She says reading your thoughts. “Bring her back on time though okay?” Roze turns towards Tanner and he nods. 

“So, where do you want to go?” 

You two end up at In N Out and decide to eat together in Tanners car. After ordering and getting your food, Tanner parks and the two of you dig in. As you eat, you talk more, about Tanners job at Hi5 and where he grew up and such. 

You find yourself lost in your own little world as the lunch moves on and you end up missing three calls from Roze. When you call her back, she’s definitely not happy. 

“I’m really sorry we’ll be back soon.” You apologize to her while signaling to Tanner to start heading back. 

“It’s okay I was just worried. I’ll see you soon.” After hanging up, Tanner offers you a smile. 

“Sorry for getting you in trouble.” 

“It’s all good. Not like you kidnapped me or anything.” You smile and Tanner laughs. 

The ride back to the office was way too short and you find yourself a bit sad to be heading back. You hoped this wasn’t the last time you would see Tanner but you were also way too much of a chicken to ask for his number. 

“You’re back!” Roze exclaims when you walk through the door. 

“Waiting for us to come home mom?” You ask sarcastically and she shoves you. 

“Come on. I wanna show you one last thing and then we gotta go home.” 

“Before you leave!” Tanner says and you turn to face him. “Do you maybe wanna go out sometime?” 

“I’d love to.”

Why I think Twitter is the best Social Media yet.

I've advocated for people to join twitter for only forever. I see literally no downside to being on the platform, apart from maybe if you decide you're the kind of person that wants to engage with political opinions on it. Here's what I'll give away in this one though. If you've had an account for a while, and dont know how to get kickstarted OR If you dont have an account, and just dont see the value in it yet - I'll tell how to get started, and what you gotta do to get started.

I know politics has the tendency to really rile us up, but more than being either an echo chamber, or a place to garner hate, I dont think Social Media changes anything much. Unless you're someone aiding people in some way at the time of a political crisis, dont bother. I get it, we all "talk about" all of our political stances, but in Chet Faker's most famous words, "Talk is Cheap my darling"

2. Make friends. 👯‍♀️

After having been confined to our homes for the last three years, there's reasons why the "Creator Economy" has boomed right at this very moment, but that's something to ponder about in a different article. Focus on wanting to find people you connect with - whether it's someone who wrote about the background they come from, or how they grew a mailing list - and that's your pain point, go looking for those people. At the WORST you know what'll happen - they won't engage with you. Imagine that. It's not even half as bad as irl, where you can be ridiculed for saying or believing something, you can LITERALLY hide behind your screen. And as someone who has a small following - you have absolutely nothing to lose.

3. There's never enough content. 🗺

In business and in content creation, there is LITERALLY never enough content. No matter what you say, nothing is ever SO ORIGINAL that it has never been thought before. So stop it with your stupid imposter syndrome, and get to it - just start sharing, if nothing else, you'll find some friends you really, really vibe with. If you're feeling shy about creating your own content - here's a thing none of you think, even your favourite creators, aren't making NOVEL content, it's just packaged differently.

4. Package differently.

Things aren't new - but guess what, you can do them differently! I'm no Harry Dry, so I won't be able to give you a product by product comparison, but I think I know at least 10 examples in the back of my mind, if I think hard enough - of products that have changed our landscape, simply because they were different. Think about it - ClubPenguin & Polly Pocket paved the way for today's Gather Town & RPGs probably(gamers dont come @ me, I a noob). Hi5 paved the way for Facebook & Orkut, Myspace paved the way for literally all of streaming & the creator economy. But with things diversifying so much, there is literally no end to differenciation - so maybe you're good at illustrations, maybe you're good at writing, maybe you're great at treating people like they're people - there's a nook for everyone.

5. Finding your nook, corner, niche, tribe.

In simple words - do things YOU like to do. Don't stress so much about needing to find an "audience" that you forget to have fun, that's purely the magic of not having to run a business off of your own personal twitter. Whether this means sharing the music you love, or writing about what your favourite musicians love, or diving down the rabbithole of people who write about psychological triggers in marketing, the niches are endless - but go looking for them. If you cant find them, I'll drop a list of some of my favourite creators at the end of this, and maybe that'll help

6. Help/Aid someone.

That's human speak for what we call "Adding Value" in twitter speak, but essentially you want to be saying something that people might derive some kind of value from - there are more than ENOUGH creators who do this on the platform. Sometimes even different aspects of the same topic, other times adding to someone else's content. Maybe you noticed something or a connection only a small subset might've, but what's stopping you from sharing that There is absolutely 0 reason for something like your own opinion to limit you this way.

WEEKLY ENCORE 2022 – Week 2 (January 10-16)

Hello Birdies! Hope you had a nice week. It seems our boys did. While not as crazy as the first week, the boys have been keeping themselves, and by extension us busy. What have they been doing you say? Do not worry, I got us covered.

This week we had our anniversary, yes. But before jumping to that, lets visit each boy's week individually.

While keeping relatively quiet, Jay B had a few important moments this week. One of which was sharing his babies photos with us. His adorable little fluff balls seem to be keeping him busy. I can only imagine; my one and only cat is very attention demanding himself. Five cats must be a fun challenge.

Thank you for showing us your cats Jaebeom, we are honored.

This week had a food theme going on from Bambam’s live where he was eating dinner to Youngjae’s mukbang… Bbomdi had a whole night dedicated to food, specifically ramen. It seems he was on a diet but all the talk about food made him hungry.

Bbomdi also said they were thinking of a live on 16th but it was hard to arrange since all of them are in different places, plus the Covid restrictions. He essentially spoiled Bambam’s surprise but it is bbomdi. The only thing he doesn’t spoil is GOT7 comeback much to ahgases disappointment.

JayB also donated 50 Million Won to Goyang City Daycare Center in his hometown through the GreenUmbrella Children’s Foundation. This man has such a golden soul, giving back to the community. It makes my green little heart so proud for stanning him.

Thank you for setting such a good example to us best friend.

Mark revealed release date and title for his next single: it is coming out on 21st. Since none of us knew the title, nor we even thought to Shazam the song, the title is “My Life” and it is depicting a part of his life and hardships. But, as it was with Last Breath, he wrote it in a way that was relatable for everyone.

There is something so delicate about Mark’s lyrics. It always makes me so sentimental.

We also got stunning photos of Mark from style director Park Jeongah. Model Mark is quite breathtaking no matter how many photos we see of him.

Jackson.

Talking about personal songs that makes us cry, Jackson just released a song named after himself. The music video and lyrics tell his life story from his fencing days to JYP trainee to idol and Team Wang’s CEO. There are quite touching parts, you have to watch it to see. The animation itself was also so fitting and Jackson’s expression throughout the video is so melancholic.

Jackson was also revealed to be the cover of Cosmopolitan China’s February Issue. He definitely looks stunning in those photos!

We all know Jinyoung likes to ghost us. Last year we lived by pixel Jinyoung most of the days and got one update from him each month. While he seems more active on the social media front this year we still have less information on him than the others. It is okay, we know how busy you are Jinyoung, just remember to sleep too.

However we learned the script reading for Christmas Carol took place in 15th, and from all accounts it seems it was quite emotionally charged. I can’t wait for the actual movie to come out and bawl my eyes out.

Jinyoung also got praise from fellow Hi5 actor Yoo Ah In and the director Kang Hyung Chul as well. There is reports that he got applause on set. Our actor Park has done so much, don’t touch me I am emotional. I can’t wait for what else he has in store for us!

As I said before this week had a food theme going on. The weeks Vlog is Youngjae’s mukbang. The staff arranged quite a few meals and snacks that are popular among mukbang youtubers. I’ll stop here not to give any more spoilers but beware, you’ll feel quite hungry after viewing. Get your snacks ready.

We also got a Coco vlog this week. Talk about cuteness overload! Ahgases are already feeling full and happy this week. There is something so infectious about Youngjae’s warm content just like his laugh, it makes me happy.

For Bambam, as expected he has been quite active on socials. It is Bambam, what did we expect!

It was revealed earlier in the week that Bambam will be the first artists to be futured in Thai documentary “Men in Light”. The show gives insight on artists journey through stardom and their struggles behind the scenes. We are still waiting on the details but this will be another touching if not heartbreaking episode into the boy’s life.

Bambam has been keeping us on our toes with all the revelations. He is endorsing crypto currency Popcoin, and he is still actively posting about the NBA All Star voting for GSW. We also got behind clips for ‘Who Are You’.

Bambam has been quite busy with lives this week, three lives to be exact. He has chatted with fans about his albums and what to expect. During one of his lives an ahgase asked for a bite since he was having dinner. Bambam refused of course, throwing a jab at JayB and his ‘just one bite’s all those years ago living in the same dormitory. Our leader-nim was surprised Bambam still remembered this after so long when an ahgase brought it up during Bbomdi night.

On his last live Bambam also give spoilers on his album, played parts of his songs and even gave us a tiny dance performance. Ever the sweetheart, he also explained everything in three languages: Thai, English and Korean. No ahgase felt left out, he is so precious.

As active as Bambam was, his bestie Yugyeom was quite. We only got a selfie in stories from him. We don’t know what he is working on behind the scenes but we are happy to see him. I hope you are having just as fun as we are with all the content the boys are giving us. don’t forget to rest and take care of your health too.

Now we all know it was anniversary week, everybody was anticipating something. Did the boys deliver? Yes, yes they did. We got our OT7 live. We were all anticipating this, but we were also convinced that we were clowning. Because what is life in Ahga-Land if not clowning every other business day, right?

But we did it, we got our GOT7 live we wanted. For some of us (ahem, me) it was the first time seeing them together in real time. Nonetheless we were all so emotional and internally screaming at seeing Jaebeom go live with Jinyoung on his side, Maknae line joining, Mark hopping from facetime to the live, Jackson trying to live on Bambam’s phone while the mug holding the phone kept failing him.

How was the live you ask? It was chaos, it was fun, it was… something hard to describe with my words.

JayB and Jinyoung kept freezing due to bad connection, maknae line kept laughing at them and making fun, Mark, despite just woken up, looked happy, and Jackson in middle of a schedule halted everything as much as he could.

Each member gave little bit of on what they were working on and a little message to us ahgases; too bad Jinyoung’s was sabotaged by the wifi monster. At this point we are sure that pixel jinyoung is a curse.

While talking about their projects Bambam said he was done spoiling anything about GOT7. Sure Bambam, of course. Just like how we won’t snitch when you do.

After ‘The Live’ JayB, Bambam, Mark and Yugyeom went to Instagram and twitter to post their debut picture, celebrating their 8th anniversary. Youngjae also used the much-debated anniversary hashtag, thus ending all the fight. The boys do bring peace wherever they go, even within their own fandom.

Youngjae also arranged an online fan chat on the morning of the 16th on Universe app.

Jackson also went out to eat rice to celebrate the 8th anniversary.

What can we say, ahgases were well fed and happy by Sunday evening.

We close the 2nd week with full hearts. I wonder what the boys have in store for us in the upcoming weeks.

- How long have you been playing the Sims? Hmmm, a long time. 17-18 years? I was still in High School when I was introduced to Sims 1. A then-friend had it with all expansions on her computer and let me play a bit. Makin’ Magic did it for me; I was hooked. Can you imagine... virtual people I could do whatever with? Muhahaha... That sounded evil. LOL, I grew up playing with Barbie dolls, so hell yeah, now I had Barbies that actually moved! Sims 2 was already out at that time, so we jumped on that wagon as soon as we could get our hands on some discs.

- How long have you been a Simblr, and why did you become one? Since 2020. Before that I was part of some now inactive-forums and kept hearing people saying Simblr this - Simblr that. So smart me searched all over for that thing called simblr. Finally found out it’s what simmers called their tumblr account. I thought it was something like Twitter, Hi5 (yes, I’ve been around for a while :P), you know strictly social media, so I kinda avoided it. But more and more I had to click on tumblr links on the forums to see more stuff from a certain creator. So we crossed paths a few times. Then I started to read stories that some of my friends posted on Tumblr and I couldn’t comment like before when we were all posting on Blogspot. So to make things easier, I made an account. And thank God for instant messaging. Something still sorely missing on GoS (hint-hint you guys) We have to communicate through mail, which can take a long time.

- What type of Simblr are you? Posebox creator, Decosims creator and Storyteller. I have 2 stories that are my own (of which 1 is already posted on Blogger. The other is still WIP) and I’m also Simmifying a book (not posting yet)

- Which generation of Sims do you primarily play? Nowadays most people start out with the sims 4, without knowing the others (not that they really care to). I’m one of the few that has actually played them all. However, I stick to Sims 2 like velcro. Mostly because I know what I can and cannot do with it. If it bugs out, you can find a working solution online, without needing to contact support (nightmare) or wait for a new update/patch that will probably break all your new stuff. Lolz, no thanks. Also Sims 2 is a finished game, so no cash-cowing me!! Almost everything Sims 2 (and 1 & 3) has in full expansions, is being watered-down into stuff and incomplete packs for Sims 4, so there’s that! But you’re missing out on the new stuff? No I’m not. Google conversions and you’ll see that almost 90% of Sims 4 stuff has been converted for Sims 2. Now think on that for a little bit... and ask yourself why? XD

Since this Simblr is fairly new and I’m not posting regularly yet, not many REAL followers to tag, so..........you there, yes, you reading this post... TAG! You’re it!

Like ofc I would be sorta nervous to meet Paul and I definitely feel like and awkward situation would happen when I would go to hug him but I feel like overall I could talk to him fairly easily and oml the thought of meeting Connor it seems even easier than meeting Paul like I just imagine being at a convention and seeing him and suddenly heading towards him and being like “Yooo Connor!” And him turning and being a little confused and then me saying “it’s pam.” And him smiling and being like “oh no way! Sick to finally meet you dude!” And then him like seeming to debate whether to go for a hug or hi5 but then deciding on just doing both and so we hi5 and then he pulls me in for a hug and we hug for a few seconds and then we just talk for ages and ages but with woods oh gosh i- oof we- I- I would be shaking and like probably try and shake his hand and then apologize for being so formal and then apologize for being so nervous and then him be like “it’s totally cool dude just relax I’m just a normal dude like you,okay I’ve said dude way too many times but you get what I mean” and then he laughs and I get the biggest smile on my face just enjoying the sound of hearing it so clear and in person and then he like asks if I want a hug or something and I say “of course!” But then try and calm myself and say “uh yea sure” and he laughs and smiles as he holds his arms open and I gladly lowkey almost run into his arms and he almost falls a bit but catches himself and chuckles as he hugs me back just as tightly if not more tightly than I’m hugging him and he just lets me control the hug and so after like 5 seconds I slowly start to loosen my grip and then fully let go and so then I’m less nervous but still kinda stumble over my words and everything and so then we just sit on the ground and talk for ages and then when he gets ready to leave he iniates another hug and this time he controls it and does it a little softer than the last one but still really comforting and he kisses the top of my head and slips something into my pocket making me giggle and jump a bit as he either on purpose or accidentally grazes my side as he puts it in and then he smirks slightly before smiling and telling me how it was great to meet me and to hit him up sometime and so I’m just smiling widely as ever and I nod as I say “I will for sure!” He laughs a bit as he says “I know you will” and so then suddenly Connor comes from seemingly out of nowhere and says “ooohhhh someone has a crush on woods and just got his number” and I turn snd say “oh shut up I do not and I did not” and so then he says “mmm sure why don’t you see what he left in your pocket then” and I say “alright!” And so I pull out an empty gum wrapper and say “Ha! See he just gave me his trash” and Connor rolls his eyes as he grabs the gun wrapper and turns it around showing me that it in fact does have his number on it “holy crap it does have his number, woods gave me his number! The woodland demars gave me HIS number!” And Connor laughs as he ruffles my hair a bit “why wouldn’t he you’re a great person Pam” I smile as I hug him again and say “thanks uncle Connor” he sighs but laughs a bit as he hugs back and says “you’re welcome” and so then Paul shows up and says “woah woah woah what are we thanking uncle Connor for? Excuse me I am your dad and you didn’t thank me for anything” and before I can say anything Connor says “oh nothing just that I kept her from missing out on a certain boys number she was about to throw away cause she thought it was just trash” and so Paul raises an eyebrow and says “oh really guys already giving you their numbers hmm? Who is this boy?” And I start blushing as I stare at the ground quietly saying “it’s woods...” and then Paul cups a hand to his ear as he says “hmmm what I couldn’t hear you” and then I compose myself a bit as I look at him and say “it’s woods” he looks a little shocked as he says “no way woods like never gives his number to anyone!” My eyes widen as I say “really!?” He nods and says “yes really! I didn’t even get his number until like last year”

Lets Play Ball- Tanner Malmedal

If there was one thing that everyone knew, it was that- when you love someone, you try to take part in the things that they enjoy. For Tanner Malmedal, that was Baseball, and (y/n) (l/n) would be dammed if she didn't get at least one home run in her life time.

As the sun beat down against the pavement, (y/n) fixed the baseball cap that tanner had slapped onto her head- amongst the bright blue sky and Valencia palm trees, the blonde scratched his beard. His smile was shining brighter than the sun as he looked at the girl sitting at his feet- 

Lying in the grass, (y/n) finished tying her shoe laces, making sure they were secure- the last thing she needed was to fall flat on her face. “And you're sure this a good idea?” she asked him, placing her hand on the silver baseball bat in which he was holding.

Tanner laughed, tossing his head back and nodding eagerly, he walked her over towards the baseball diamond and stepped behind her. Wrapping his arms around the girl’s body- he made sure that she was in the proper form for batting. 

“Absolutely... you're gonna be a pro in no time- and then eventually you can start coming to games with me and Gunner... Maybe he’ll even let you hit.” the boy winked. 

(y/n) laughed softly and jerked her elbow into his rib softly. she had a grin on his face and shrugged. As the pair settled into a routine, Tanner explained the rules of the game- everything from singles, to doubles, to home-runs and fouls.

Once it was finally time to see if (y/n) had picked up any skills, she has shaking with nerves. “I think I take back everything i said about baseball being easy.” the girl whined. “This is seriously hard!” she groaned.

Tanner chuckled, at the pitcher’s base with a ball in hand. he winked at her before twisting his hat backwards and blowing on the ball. “Get ready sweetheart.” he smirked. 

After many failed attempts at actually hitting the ball, (Y/n) was getting quite frustrated with herself. “come one! don’t give up now!” tanner laughed, he thought the whole ordeal was hilarious and couldn't contain his laughter.

(y/n) lined herself up and went to swing the bat, as she went forward- the bat slipped from her fingers and flew through the air, immediately a yelp launched itself from her throat. 

Tanner immediately ducked out of the way, missing a metal bat to the head- he looked at (y/n) with wide eyes- his heart beating a thousand miles a minute. he walked over to her and wrapped an arm around her shoulder. “babe- i’m sorry to say it, but i don’t think Baseball is your sport babe.”

(Y/N) took a deep breath- “I almost beheaded you.” she couldn't help but giggle. “maybe i’m a better pitcher.” she suggested.

Tanner shrugged, the two of them walking around the filed and gathering the rest of their belongings. Tanner kissed her cheek as they headed back to his car. “Eh- either way, you’ll always be my home run darlin.”

Spirit- Have you ever been in love? 

Yes and no. I’ve been in love with the way light filters through the leaves and pour gently over me, the way wind rustles through the leaves and car noises fade somewhere far away, the little ants rushing around at my feet or the way I swing toward the sun with such a glimpse of longing and freedom all at once my chest fills and I want to cry. I have been in love with the flow of music in a filled hall, when a dream comes true. I’ve been in love with life and what it’s made of, in brief glimpses. And I’ve loved people, to point there are charred holes in my soul still from which they’ve been taken from, though they slowly overgrow with moss now.

But no, I don’t think I’ve been in love romantically.

There’s also always a list of 10-15 songs I cycle through vaguely in a month or longer period that I love excessively. But one overall favorite, which is rare for me, is definitely that song.

Poltergeist- Favorite song lyric? 

Oh nooo. This is so hard. I am very, very lyric based person, so, if I love a song, there’s probably a line I absolutely adore from it, and more likely, the whole song’s lyrics seem great to me.

Obviously lot of Day6′s lyrics are up there.

How to Rest - The Crane Wives

Ghoul- Who is someone that makes you laugh easily/who’s company you enjoy most of, if not all of, the time? 

Someone who is not here anymore, someone who I can only try to imagine being with me, making me laugh. Hold onto the memories of them.

But there are also handful of friends that create the same easy, safe and joyful space around us. Even when it’s not funny and light, it feels like place I can come back to and rest, and be myself, be comforted and understood and that itself, picks me up and out of the worst of darkness. I appreciate it more than words can say, truly.

This especially rings true for my friend, V. I know I can go to her with basically anything and she will have my back. She will be angry when I’m not sure if I have right to be. She will make me laugh. She will indulge my nonsense and genuinely listen and care, even if’ it’s not anything of her interests. She has brilliant way of looking at things that make me see things in new light, but she’s never arrogant about it or not up for discussion. She has helped me embrace parts of myself, just afford to be more myself with someone. I can cry with her, I can sit in silence with her or let the music fill that space for us. If I get to chat or spend time with her, my day has become good. There’s never been a time when I’ve not enjoyed time spent with her. Even when it’s hard for one or both of us, I want to deal with it, with her. She’s supported me through thick and thin. I can only hope I’ve been able to give the same feeling of acceptance and happiness, and safety to her.
