hows everyone doing my head hurts i havent left my house this weekend i dont have to work the last week of my shitty job and i just found out my ebt isnt in need of being renewed so i have money to buy a lot of groceries since my fridge and cabinets are empty. overall this is A Day :-)

also omgshjssks!!! y'all are Quick With It on the pinterest!!! i personally am Obsessed with it and tried to make it really well thought out and am very specific with the things i pin, especially in the face/aesthetic sections bc they’re v important for visualization to my personal hcs bc i feel very strongly about my hc about how the characters look, what they wear, even just what they care abt and i hope you like them. <333 i also try to add sections/pins as we get new information/i develop my rm!cast more — specifically the side characters because they got neglected while i developed stan/kyle.

now...onto Short Hair Jersey which...tbh, i looked at that pin for a while because i was like, hm, this site model is very cute to me, i like his freckles v much...but he has short hair. regardless, i just said fuck it and pinned it to the board as another face reference and didn't do anymore deep thought about it...but ooooough that i am Thinkin...

i wanted to do a short hair jersey moment for a while. hair i feel like is very symbolic/can be analysed in rm, specifically with stan.

basically, you can kind of tell what era were in, his current mental state, and honestly, what point of rm where are in by stan's hair color.

ie. that white/silvery danny phantom color was pre!rm when scotty was still around/calm b4 the storm, blonde stan is post-scotty fallout when the toner washed out, electric blue hair stan is first style breakup sort of manic/mostly depressed stan, blue washing out/color oops, stan having just the tips of his hair blonde is healing stan w/ the dark brown coming in, red hair stan is crazy boy manic divorce stan and pink hair stan w/ the red washing out is cute boy, happy anti-valentines day ravesey reunion stan, with pink tip hair stan being very close to healing/college stan, and dark brown stan being healing/sober, thriving ( hw is hard, but he's okay ) ravenstan.

as far as kyle goes, i think long hair kyle is Default Kyle...short hair kyle is definetly...an Anomaly, a glitch in the matrix...a very, veeery bad sign, tbh. long hair kyle being jersey just sets him apart from my pep kyle and canon kyle tbh, i like his dark academia, maneater, philosophic ice king energy. and i was gonna say that maybe kyle stopped cutting his hair after stan passed away but...nah. nevermind.

bc sheils def had kyle get hair cuts & complains when his hair gets too long ( when kyle came to visit all he did was nag nag nag kyle about his long hair, smh ) but once he started college, i think it just got longer and Longer and he was Going to cut it but bebe BEGGED him not to because he looked so good w/ it long, v chic, giving off duty couture runway model fr. i love you sm, long hair jersey! mwah!

BUT I HAVE ALWAYS WANTED IT BE SHORT FOR AN IMPORTANT PLOT REASON. like not just Because, like, i think kyle agrees that his hair looks better long and likes it like that so he wouldn't just randomly cut it short...but he would if it was an important reason.

my first thought was that maybe he did it before the plane ride, like cut his hair short when stan dyed his blue so they could both be dramatic and quasi-secret broken up together buuuuut...

i had a far, far Worse idea. ;)

so towards the end of RM...

-- which sorry, side bar again, but i just wanted to say, bc i have anxiety abt it and get lots of anons asking me for answers abt things i don't actually know yet. I Did Not Finish Planning Out RM. like...at all. just because its so complicated. so the stuff in the middle is kind of only half way there, some of the stuff even before ravesey get together is kind of dodgy and the end, i have Concepts for ( and plot concepts in gen ) but they're not fully formed and need to be figured out by me. so technically, you are basically building a story with me, or watching me develop it thorugh your asks...i hope that's okay? --

but, *ahem*, towards the end of rm ( i'm so sorry, guys, i'm evil ), i had plans to...FATALLY WOUND JERSEY ;) saving stan in south park, there's some violence and drama and action towards the end that involves a lot of the other characters in southpark we left behind/side characters we don't know about yet...and i kind of wanted to do something Dramatic ala tangled saving rapunzel by cutting her hair off, like, idk some very dramatic and upsetting, heroic reason that jersey's hair gets cut short....

so i'm thinking...he gets also mortally wounded in some violent and horrifyingly sad and frightening way, maybe a shard of glass cuts the hair off...but, tbh, my most Final Canon Answer is the hospital team needs access to a lot of his upper body/head/neck region and they have to cut his hair short to save his life and operate or something. so he wakes up in the hospital with stan there...with shorter hair.

( he still looks fine as hell tho! don't get it twisted, i think it kinda still curls around his ears and stuff it's not too short but it's DRASTIC )

anyways...so...Yeah. short hair jersey. dramatic, i know! and i think him groing it out post rm is him going back to being healthy and i kind of wanted to keep it like that....buuuuuut...

I had an Even WOOOOORSE idea...

which was that around the time stan dyes his hair unhinged manic panic vampire red, kyle cuts his hair short again in a sort of He Liked My Hair Long, So I Cut it Short...way.

last song: riot music dropped an absolute flop with their newest band, so i'm currently rewatching the absolutely insane 45 minute long interactive like....live? mo-cap? concert where you could like make dedications in chat and your webcam would appear in the stadium and you could volunteer to kill yourself, stuff like that, it was really campy power metal nonsense and unironically probably the most fun i had during lockdown, i can't recommend it enough (altho i suppose it might be less fun not live). it's like a guitar hero video on acid. pentakill is so weird bc it's a fake band for a game but they put a shitload of money and effort into using real and talented musicians and accidentally made 3 absolutely banger albums that actually got a bit of attention even outside of league fans. they're like gorillaz for people who want to fuck metal band mascots

last film: i finally coerced my mum into watching spirited away, but she has this stubborn knee-jerk dislike of anything animated (she's one of those boomers who call everything animated a "cartoon" in a deliberately condescending way, even tho she like persepolis, arcane, etc), she was "pleasantly surprised".

current/last read: aside from fic, i re-read venus in furs lately. it's generally a shit book but the hold it's held on me.....

currently watching: bf recent informed me he's never seen band of brothers, so it's an obligatory rewatch. unfortunately my bf is one of those people that will put on something to watch and be 100% fully unconcious rem dead to the world asleep on the couch before the title credits have finished.

Hey everyone! I am Belle and as a heads up this is a queued post bc I live on like the opposite timezone of basically anyone in the US so this site is opening before dawn on fri for me and I have work. I'll try and hop on fri night, otherwise I'll get back to everyone on my sat! Anyway, I'm excited for this rp to open, I love surreal and horror. 🔥 My hobbies include writing gremlin bois and oscillating wildly between regular capitalization and lapslock. Also ToF/genshin (hmu if u play tho). This is Noh Harang, resident gremlin, morally ambiguous and in the trade of plots that verge on the wrong side of functional. Here is his about and profile page which has the more relevant of information, but I’ll drop some additional quick facts under the cut along with some attempted plot ideas! If you want to plot just like or dm + I have a discord on request if it’s easier to plot there (i usually prefer it A Lot, so if you want me to add you just drop your user in my ims and when i get online later i can add 6v6 ).

was born in ulsan, his dad died when he was pretty young and was largely raised by his mom w help from other family members. he is ✨inspired ✨ by sharp objects (bc i Love it), only less murder-y, but his mom has FDIS (munchausen by proxy) and it influenced his emotional development a lot.

moved to the island as a teen when his mom remarried, which meant there were new and exciting doctors to visit who weren’t suspicious of her yet. cowabunga, dude. spent a lot of time in his room drawing when he was ~sick~

he’s decently smart, and he did go onto uni for art, but then he got pissed at someone else and sabotaged their assignment by breaking into somewhere he shouldn’t have been and prob broke like 4 school rules in the process and was kicked out his second year. so he never finished. good life choices? check. clearly.

he is vindictive and revenge-driven and will act immediately on those feelings without considering the consequences on getting caught. harang in the moment is always like: i will definitely not get caught. and the narrator is like: that bitch did, in fact, get caught.

is he a good person? no. does he try to better himself every day? also no. memes aside, he does have good qualities but he’s def not sugar and spice and everything nice. if you enjoy complicated, emotionally wrought, and sometimes dark plots 👀 👀 👀 pls come to me, that is what i’m weak and design my chars for.

he’s a webtoon creator/artist. he’s into horror, esp supernatural/paranormal horror. his webtoon is similar in storyline/vibe to something like stagtown? but his art style is different. he takes inspo from junji ito of course. likes consuming horror media/projects as well.

obsessed with herbal tea, has So Many flavors in his apt.

really into vinyl, though he usually collects based on cover artwork first and music second. likes playing atmospheric music when he’s making art.

he smokes, his favorite is cherry tobacco. they’re bad for his body but he’s pretty sure his body was basically destroyed in his youth so what does it matter anymore anyway?

he has a weird vibe but he’s good at covering it. will default to auto-mirroring people’s gestures and personalities around him without super realizing he’s doing it. if you spend enough time around him though it fades, it’s mostly done for people he doesn’t interact w regularly.

he has long hair, and yes, that is a personality trait

he’s not always the nicest person but he’s also not mean for the sake of being mean. it can take him a while to emotionally connect to people. he doesn’t frequently get into romantic relationship because of it, def finds casual to be easier. his sense of love and how it should be expressed is ✨very off ✨

can turn himself into a victim in 4 minutes flat (i_got_it_from_my_mama.mp3)

he hates doctors, not in a take it personally sense, more just going to the doctors and being treated sense. will avoid going to the hospital At All Costs.

can be manipulative, and isn’t always the most empathetic person (in this house we support morally grey chars 👏 )

plot ideas -- tbh i often prefer to like talk apps and come up with something organically, but here are a few ~general ideas~ that might be nice to have, and a few that could be starting off points if we’re really stuck.

an ex that was messily resolved and there's some baggage there is always fun. would love if it imploded due to reasons on both their ends rather than like one person being the Saint and the other being a Villain. I want mutually assured destruction and angst tyvm.

conversationalists. they live in the same area and keep running into each other, harang takes frequent smoke breaks outside for instance. but the strange part of it is there’s no real set schedule, and they just keep running into each other even though they're leaving at drastically different times every day. could be fun if they know some deeper pieces of each other’s life without knowing the like basics of each others personalities (like an inverse of basic friends, unbasic not-friends, if you will)

a bff? like we really click together and even though you make bad life choices and are lvl 500 dumb sometimes i’ll still help you with whatever mess you invite upon yourself. can go both ways, of course.

me, sweating and running out of plot ideas i’m brainstorming on the spot, someone who’s into harang’s webtoon. ofc it would need to be ✨developed ✨ so it could be interesting, but yes. OR his anti!!! OR a mix and they're obsessively into it to the point of being creepy. a creepy stan stalking a creepy artist, creep² if you will

i Am a fan of antagonistic plots, i think they’re really fun, esp when both chars are kind of catty about it and it’s not just one being the ~evil~ one, tho i don’t have any ideas on how to get there but if someone really wants one and to figure out a reason why i’m down!!!!

okay i think that’s it i’m out of ideas, but i’m v excited to plot and write so pls don’t hesitate to let me know if you like something or have another idea or wanna create something organically 👀

Brief History:

Not much is known about his earlier life. However, he lived in Sharlayan for a significant amount of time as a low profile arcanist.

Was secretly banished from Sharlayan for [redacted].

Went to Ishgard since he had some contacts there, making it easier to hide from [redacted]. However, due to starting over completely and relying on those contacts, he owes a major amount of debt that he pays off with his special ability, [redacted].

At some point during this, he becomes an Astrologian.

After the Dragonsong War, he travelled around more often, figuring it's safe to do so after the time he spent in Ishgard. He still revisits Ishgard to deal with his remaining few debts every so often.

omg speaking of gworls i forgot to share my thoughts on the album here bc i was so excited the whole weekend

anyways! i REALLY liked it. overall, the whole album isn’t as cohesive as savage ngl, but it’s still good. savage was such a tight, top tier album that it would be very hard to top. even in the whole of kpop, savage has to one of the most cohesive album to come, even in all my 10+ years of listening to kpop i don’t think ive come across an album that is so sonically cohesive as savage was so i understand why some mys are a bit let down in that regard. that being said, girls is still very fun!!! & i’m always here for a fun kpop album

however!! the song girls itself has to be aespa’s darkest sound. & yeah, i agree that it sounds like an nct song, but i mean it as compliment!!! because i actually think that despite so many trying to replicate nct’s sound, no one has come this close to actually doing it while still maintaining their own touch. winter & ningning adding those cute & fun adlibs makes it such an aespa song & nice contrast to the loud trumpets in the chorus i love it!! imo girls sounds to me like nice blend between turn back time by wayv & punch by nct 127, while the mv seems heavily informed by kick it (i see a bit of punch in some transitions shots too). but again, it’s still very aespa, especially in the fact that has a clearer storyline. back to the song, the production seems very influenced by turn back time & overall wayv’s use of guitars to build up momento with the added horns from punch to add grandioseness &, well, punch. it makes them sound like characters in a big fight about defeat their big baddie. which apparently they do because i’ve read this is the end of the black mamba storyline. the girls add so much sass to the song— to pretty much any song they touch. sm struck gold when they decided to put all four of them together, they cover every ground just by the four of them, it’s so gorgeous to hear them.

illusion is just. such a fucking good song. the choreo adds so much to the song too. from the strong opening w the alarms blaring in your ear & the slurping, winter’s opening line of “you’re so yummy, yummy, yummy in my tummy, tummy, tummy” 😵‍💫😵‍💫😵‍💫 that…was crazy. insane. there’s no taking out the sexual connotations out of this whole song no matter how much they tried to make it fit into the aespa storyline. it’s so fun & sexy i love it. i loved that the choreo follows pretty closely to the formula the song follows in that it a slow build up that explodes by the second middle of the second verse than it takes its second wind. i think this might be one of their best b-sides & choreographies. it’s almost as good as i’ll make you cry, which i’m still hoping & begging to see performed live with a cool choreo 😭 i honestly think this album could have been a double feature with illusion being the second title track. this should have been the song to get an english version &/or an mv. sm, hear me out, we can still make this work. hear me out!!!! just make an illusion mv instead of leaving my girls jobless once the promotion period is over, you could even get a second boost in sells w this genius idea!!! (hmu for more input 😘).

lingo is so fun!!! i havent gotten into reading the translations yet but i can almost tell this is aespa saying you can make fun of all the made up words & stories their concept requires you to understand but that doesn’t make them any less cool. i see the country influences everyone has pointed out, it’s probably how the song started, but i insist!! this is not a country song!! this is nortec!!! look it up, look up nortec. i know this, this genre was literally birthed in my home city & the streets grew up in. idk who lixa, the producer, is, but they (accidentally??) made a nortec song. lingo is for las norteñas 🤠

life’s too short is cute but i agree it’s not their strongest song. that much i knew when they previewed at coachella. it’s very much elevated by their gorgeous voices & smart layering. the mv was so cute tho!! very dreamy & cute. i think it’s befitting they sing a song like this considering the amount of hate they have received since debut, much of unwarranted. i just hope the girls themselves actually believe as much because they do deserve to enjoy their hard work. they have achieved so much in such a short career & are such strong performers, enough to rival bigger groups. it’s no wonder they keep going viral, they work hard & are good at demonstrating it on stage.

icu…it’s a song. a song sung by aespa. this has to be their most forgettable song imo, i’m sorry. it’s pretty but…it’s just there. it’s the required sm ballad & they delivered. i don’t have much else to say other than they sound pretty.

i know a lot of fans disliked that this album included their previous singles but i’m actually really glad it did! i’m glad i can now have a physical copy of black mamba & dreams come true to play in my car that i dont drive. but if i ever did, i have it & i can cause a car crash while swinging my head to black mamba. plus, no offense to any icu fans out there, but ending the album in that when we had such a strong start with girls & illusion would have been such a snooze. ending it with dreams come true!!!!! feels more befitting ngl.

anyways, that’s all i have to say for now. but i’m sure i will continue to talk about this album because aespa has been one of the most exciting kpop acts to follow right now & i’m always excited to talk about their music to anyone who is willing to listen!!!

everything that happened in caroline's life in tvd is canon. so to make a very long story short, after she became a widow on her wedding day, caroline decided to focus on building a safe place for supernatural kids who may be in need of guidance.

while alaric stayed in mystic falls getting things ready for the grand opening, caroline set off across the globe to recruit students while simultaneously searching for a way to stop the merge and save the twins. leaving her daughters behind wasn't easy, but she knew that what she was doing would benefit them, as well.

i'm gonna be really honest here and say i haven't watched all of legacies out of sheer pettiness bc of the way they handled caroline's absence, but i know some bits of information about it. however, i might struggle with some context so help might be needed lol

she has just recently made the decision to come back to mystic falls for a while. as wonderful as traveling and seeing new places is, caroline misses her home and wants to spend time with the people she loves. especially now that it seems like there's a new big bad heading towards mystic falls.

all in all, caroline is still the same cheerful, loving, kind and neurotic ball of sunshine she's always been. she's fiercely protective of those she cares about, not afraid to jump in front of a literal bullet for them. but she's also still very sensitive and insecure, but learned to hide it better than when she was a newbie vampire, which means the chances of you finding her having a sad girl moment are slim to none. she does that in the safety of her room, when she's sure neither of her girls are around to use their magic and unlock her door.

omg, was it The Bewitching of Anne Gunter by James Sharpe?? because that one's definitive. I have it on my shelf right now lmao

I'll say that it can be a little dense to get through sometimes (Sharpe is obviously an academic, for better and for worse) but the information is so good that it's totally worth it. He's pretty good at giving additional historical information to contextualize what's going on in the story, but if there's anything you want to know more about, hmu!!

like lbr, every story about historical witchcraft is interesting, but Anne Gunter's story really has it all. mystery, romance, evil plots, court intrigue, witchcraft, soccer riots... lmao

I will not rest until everyone I know knows her story!!! and someone finally makes me a movie to watch.

Prev information: (tw for transphobia, medical mistreatment)

I'm a trans nb person who has been denied HRT & Gender Affirming Healthcare for MONTHS (it's now nearly an entire year trying to access it) in a province that BY LAW it has to be provided. It has not.

I have been harassed, insulted and mistreated in every way imaginable- I will not include the details here so I do not trigger anyone (hmu if needed). I've also been denied basic care in retaliation for my insistence- things completely unrelated to this. I am chronically ill and disabled- I require regular medication and appointments. These are being denied to me.

TLDR: The doctors have discriminated against me to the point that I've been denied any and all healthcare / support for 6+ months, ended up hospitalized due to a crisis last week bc of it, and they are STILL refusing to provide me with the basic healthcare they're required to. Legal action now needs to be taken.

So now I have to:

Find & Travel to a new Doctor (costly)

Take legal action against the former ones (even more costly)

Cover the costs of my earlier hospitalization & ambulance (*No, this is not free in Canada, that's a common misconception. Feel free to hmu & I can explain more.)

All this is going to be an incredibly stressful and expensive situation and I'm hugely thankful to anyone who helps (or already has) in any way at all- it is an actual, literal life-saver. It's keeping me alive and I'm so grateful to everyone ♡

hi sorry to bother you but youve mentioned working in a library? whats that like. ive been considering volunteering at my local one but i have a few other places im also considering so id like to ask if you'd recommend it? thank you in advance!

hiiii yes I totally recommend it!! ofc there’s lots of different parts and jobs in a library so if you just volunteer you might be asked to interact a lot with patrons (something that’s hard for me bc autism) so you can always ask if you can just help with shelving etc!!

some public libraries (depending on where you are ofc) don’t require u to have a degree in library science or a diploma of library and information technology (that’s what I got) to work there as a paid position but if they do I really recommend going through the training if you can afford it! (i did it at a TAFE and it didn’t require an ATAR)

it’s sadly a dying industry even though the world needs libraries more than ever (only two universities in australia offer the diplomas, and only one offers the degree 😔) so it’s rlly good to try to help out however u can!! if u have any other questions hmu!!!
