Finally working on this woohoo!

Time’s End is part of a bigger series I’m working on called “Multidimensional”.

it’s going to be a long explaination so all info from here should be under the cut (if it actually WORKS this time…)

Story The story follows two members of the Everywhere Circus, Aria Sillia, and Tippi Turvy. One day, they’re getting ready for a big performance, when suddenly the rest of the circus is mysteriously murdered!

The police determine that the murderers were the two most infamous criminals in the entire Inbetween, The Time Mistress, and the Executioner.

Aria and Tippi work with a detective named Cyrus Cogs to track down, catch, and arrest the criminals, gaining new team members along the way, such as Spite Aurelia, an incredibly famous singer (who Tippi happens to be a huge fan of), Eris, a mysterious talking amulet they found in an abandoned temple, and Vega Silver and her husband, Sterling silver, who also happen to be celebrities.

Characters

Aria Silla

Note: on the ref it says “no powers” I meant to write magic 😭 idk why I wrote that pretend it says magic lmao

Aria Sillia is a performer (or at least used to be) at the Everywhere Circus. She had been working there for apparently a very long time, long enough to personally know at least a few of the previous ringmasters, so she would often be the one to go to for various traditions and stuff. The Circus was pretty much a family to her, so she was absolutely devastated when they were killed.

According to some, she's a lot older than she seems. How long she's lived is a mystery, but some have created conspiracies that she's actually a god in disguise, while others say she just got lucky with her ancestry. She refuses to answer any questions about her life outside the circus, and seems to get pretty mad if she's asked.

The reason she and Tippi weren’t murdered was because before the show was supposed to start, rather than going to the pre show cast meeting they were supposed to, Tippi dragged her over to go look at the audience, because their favorite singer, Spite, was there.

Tippi Turvy

Tippi used to be a performer at the Everywhere Circus. They’ve been with the Circus practically their whole life because when they were young, their mother abandoned them there. The Circus was jests only real family, so jest was devastated when they were murdered.

The reason card and Aria weren’t murdered was because before the show was supposed to start, rather than going to the pre show cast meeting they were supposed to, they dragged Aria over to go look at the audience, because their favorite singer, Spite, was there.

Cyrus Cogs

Cyrus is a hardworking detective from the clockwork sector, and always wanted to get a case bigger than “find out who littered in the park”. This dream finally comes true when they’re tasked with tracking down two criminals, however they soon realize these criminals are the Time Mistress, and the Executioner, and freak out. Aria and Tippi end up joining them (despite their pleas not to, as Aria scares the hell out of them).

They're constantly a nervous wreck, and have been (somewhat derogatorily) described as pathetic by Aria, as well as Spite. Spite Aurelia

Spite is one of, if not the most famous being in the entire Sectional. It met Aria, Tippi, and Cyrus when they chased down the Time Mistress and Executioner to one of its performances. The Executioner caused part of the stage to come crashing down while it was performing, with Aria on it, so Spite immediately blamed Aria, and didn’t believe in the slightest when she tried to explain what happened. Aria attempted to convince Spite to help them track down TTM and Ex, with little success, until Tippi decided that they would just go ask Sterling Silver instead. Spite immediately agrees telling them it would be a much better help than him and starts listing off ways why it would be a better help.

It’s mortal enemies with Sterling, and will do anything to one up him. It's incredibly petty, and will go great lengths to make him look even the slightest bit silly.

It puts on a kind and humble persona, which is very far from the truth. It’s incredibly egotistical, and anyone who says something bad about it within earshot seems to go mysteriously missing, or so they say.

Sterling Silver

Sterling is a famous composer for the hit singer/songwriter and wife, Vega. He's very well loved, and considered one of the sweetest beings in the Sectional. He's somewhat shy, and generally avoids large social events and situations when he can.

Spite is his worst enemy, and while not nearly as petty, he still finds little ways to jab at it. He tries to enjoy his life, rather than focus on his hatred for Spite, however something always comes back to it.

He's married to Vega, and loves his wife more than anything in the world. He's incredibly dedicated to her, and many call him obsessed. He sees nothing wrong with it. He loves her and she loves him.

Vega Silver

Vega is a famous singer/songwriter that works alongside her husband, Sterling. She's very well loved, is very kind and caring, and is just an overall nice person to be around. Some have been skeptical of her, thinking that theres no way someone could be this good and not have ulterior motives, but she's proven on many occasions that this theory is incorrect.

Despite her husband's hate for Spite, she doesn't hate it. She's done a few collabs with it, and while she does find it's arrogance unpleasant, she still thinks it's pretty cool.

She's married to Sterling, and loves him more than anything in the world. She's incredibly dedicated to him, and many call her obsessed. She sees nothing wrong with it. She loves him and he loves her. Many have asked about her happiness in her relationship, considering Sterling is asexual and she isn't, and she always says she's perfectly happy, and she is. She wants whatever makes her husband happy, and if he doesn't like something or has a boundary he doesn't want crossed, she'll respect that 100%.

Eris

Eris is a mysterious little thing. She was found in an abandoned temple in the Voidenai Dwelling, and claims to be a goddess, wrongfully locked away. She says that many years ago, a tragedy happened, and since she was the goddess of strife, she was blamed, and locked away in an amulet. Aria and the others were quite skeptical, but it didn't take long for them to realize it was probably true, considering how desperate and socially inept she was. Since she hasn't actually interacted with anyone in thousands of years, she comes off as a little off the rails.

She was taken out of the temple and brought along because she promised in return for freeing her from her prison, she would assist in helping track down and arrest the Time Mistress and Executioner. She insists that she would be of massive use.

The Time Mistress

The Time Mistress is The most famous, or infamous, criminal in the entire inbetween. She’s known for theft, vandalism, murder, possibly kidnapping, and worst of all, messing with time.

They’re known for “possibly” kidnapping, because they showed up around the time when the Celes royal Cassiopeia went missing. Many blame it on them, but there’s no solid evidence to say for sure.

She works with another criminal, The Executioner, and both have evaded capture for around 18 years. They’re also in a queerplatonic relationship.

No one knows her real name, or what she looks like under the mask. She claims she’s “astonishingly beautiful”, but the accuracy of these claims are questionable.

The Executioner

The Executioner is one of the most famous, or infamous, criminals in the inbetween, along with his partner in crime (and queerplatonic partner), The Time Mistress. He’s known for theft, vandalism, murder, and possibly kidnapping. He’s known for possibly kidnapping, because he rose to fame around when the Celes royal Cassiopeia went missing, though he was not seen around that sector much. It’s been reported by eyewitnesses he kills his victims with a purpleish glowing axe he can summon at will. Both he and the Time Mistress have evaded capture for around 18 years. No one knows his real name, as he had no one in his former school really knew him, and his family is presumed dead. Only one body has been found, and it was so mangled, it’s unknown if he was associated with them when they were alive.

#rat rambles #I decided to give lob corp a try recently since my siblings have been playing it and Ive been having fun #but I also keep getting distracted thinking abt how oni characters would manage here #I have been deliberately not reading the story stuff since quite frankly Im not in the market for new blrobos rn #but I know bits and pieces from my siblings being obessed with the project moon universe and cast #I do like hod and the girl twin from what I do know abt them they do feel a bit like me bait #Ill probably go through the dialogue at some point in the future but probably not anytime soon #Im not making that mistake again after I slipped into the oni rabbit hole from One lore log Im not testing fate again #but hey on the bright side I get to get attached to my lovely lil employees as I repeatedly send them to their deaths #hey my strongest guy became the strongest by being my test dummy to rly I did him a favor #well the downside is that hes the only one I trust with my two waw abnos but realistically others could handle it too #hes not my only level five employee he just got there first and is my reliable lil boy #well I do have a teeny bit of a problem with the fact that I also have a mushroom thing that Im pretty sure is also a waw #I messed around with it a lil bit in a day I ended up resetting for unrelated reasons and from what little I gathered it seems like it #could be real annoying especially if by 'three non insight works in a row are done' it means for everything and not just itself #it seems to have a similar effect to a different abno I have that's a tree that tries to eat ppl but probably a bit worse #the reason I reset that day was because little red broke out while I was also messing around with a scarecrow guy #and I kinda just let things play out for a bit for funsies and when I looked back at the mushroom there was an enemy outside #so Im guessing it lures in ppl like the tree and then tranforms them into enemies #the tree seemingly in theory has benefits to letting ppl get eated according to the guidelines but Im gonna take a shot in the dark and #guess the mushroom is not going to provide fun benefits #I mean in theory if I just work with it only once in a while it should be fine but Im gonna leave it until I finish my abno backlog #Im finally almost done with the stupid scarecrow that bastard caused way more problems for me than it should have #my guys can easily take it when it breaches but the problem is little red #honestly little red is a quite the problem for me in general because of their counter lowering when another abno breaches #this is mostly a problem because I still have to do quests around supressing abnos #and lemme tell you my guys cannot take little red at all #I also have had king of greed breach but at least with her you can easily play the stalling game #maybe I should find out how the bounty deal works and if I could utilize that for the mission #oh yeah I also have the fire girl since I missclicked which is disappointing because shes low level and boring boooo

Christ with Three Faces. The Trinity Talon Abraxas

Kabbalah: The Three Triads The topmost triad is the logic, or supernal, triangle. The holy trifecta of Father, Son, Holy Spirit, also known as Brahma, Vishnu and Shiva, or Osiris, Isis and Horus.

This triad contains the mystery of the trimurti or the trifecta in Christianity. Chokmah, the Christ, is an unfoldment from Kether, the Father. Binah, the Divine Mother is an unfoldment of the Christ.

Ethical Triangle The middle triad is the ethical triangle. Revolutionary ethics have nothing to do with right and wrong as we understand it, but always working to have the will of God prevail, to allow the divine influences to guide the lower.

In this triad contains the sephiroth called Chesed, Geburah and Tiphareth. Here is the mystery of the human soul united to the divine soul, something that happens at a certain stage of initiation, a wedding of the soul to the spirit.

Samael Aun Weor writes in his book, The Initiatic Path in the Arcana of Tarot and Kabbalah that while the human soul, which is masculine, works, the divine soul, which is feminine, plays. This is the union of love that everyone on earth is truly searching for.

The sephiroth Geburah and Chesed represent the balance of justice and mercy. Justice without mercy is tyranny; mercy without justice is anarchy.

Magical Triangle The lowest triad is the magical triangle, consisting of the mental, astral and vital worlds.

The sephiroth called Netzach, Hod and Yesod.

We who have our center of gravity in the physical world can access these higher planes only by uniting our vital force, intention and mind toward the divine. Here is the bridge to access the will of our Being, and the wisdom and love of God. This is the realm of ritual which is an act that vibrates into other dimensions.

Malkuth Malkuth is the physical plane. Malkuth is a fallen sephirah.

It is the “wilderness” where Adam and Eve (the Lemurian humanity) were cast after they had eaten the fruits of the tree of knowledge and broken the law of God.

There are 48 cosmic laws in Malkuth, 24 laws in Hod, 12 in Netzach, and only 1 law: law of love, in Kether.

In Malkuth we have a much greater struggle against materialism to find the spiritual, which is understood with a study of the tree of knowledge. We stand on the brink of heaven and hell.

Above us is Yesod, the 9th sphere, the vital sexual force, the way off of the tree. Below us is the Klipoth, the shadow realms, where there are more laws, more darkness, more conditioning.

Emanations of Sephiroth

After researching the symbolism and meanings of the Sephirothic aspects, I wanted to make something involving it and the main cast of Final Fantasy VII. Almost half a year later, I finally finished.

Symbolism below cut

The matchups for most of the characters and branches was found on TVTropes.

The sphere Malkuth represents the kingdom and the physical world. I matched it up with the planet of Gaia.

Yesod is associated with foundation, connection and inspiring action. So matching it with Cid makes sense to me.

The circle Hod represents splendor, majesty and overcoming obstacles. It was matched up with Yuffie because of this.

The next sphere is Netzach, meaning victory, patience (often to follow through with passions), and eternity. It's only natural that this aspect would match up with Vincent.

The next part, Tiferet, represents glory, beauty and balance. For multiple reasons, Tifa is a perfect fit for this one.

The following branch is Gevurah, and it's associated with strength and judgment. This makes it a good match with Barret.

The circle Chesed represents kindness and mercy. Logically, it's paired up with Aerith.

The next sphere, Da'ath, is the most interesting aspect in my opinion. It is often hidden, both in depictions of the Sephirothic emanations, but is also believed to be invisible to many humans. The symbolism behind this aspect is of reflection, unity, revelation of divinity, hidden knowledge and unconscious power. Because of all of this, I felt that Lucrecia would be a perfect match for this aspect.

The circle Binah is said to represent understanding and repentance. As such, Cait Sith was used with this one.

Chokmah is said to represent intuitive insight and wisdom. This aspect was matched with Nanaki.

The highest circle is Keter, representing leadership and compassion. Cloud was, of course, matched with this one.

Our Flag Means Death is executive produced by creator-showrunner David Jenkins and Emmy®-nominated star and New Zealander Taika Waititi. In addition to his duties as showrunner, Jenkins directed the first two episodes of season two. Garrett Basch, Dan Halsted, Adam Stein, and Antoine Douaihy also serve as executive producers. Production for the show moved from Los Angeles to New Zealand for its second season.

Our Flag Means Death stars New Zealanders Taika Waititi, Rhys Darby and David Fane, as well as Madeleine Sami (most recently of the Australian mystery-comedy Deadloch) and Samoan-born Anapela Polataivao.

Many of the key creatives and department heads are New Zealanders, including writer Maddie Dai, production designer Ra Vincent, hair and makeup designer Nancy Vincent and art decorator Megan Vertelle. Together, this talented team elevated Our Flag Means Death, contributing their individual expertise to create a visually stunning and emotionally engaging viewing experience. Of the 780 crew contracted onto the show, 350 worked full time.

Creative talent and picturesque landscapes were key motivators for the move Down Under. Showrunner David Jenkins said “We were looking at the season two budget and asking ‘How do you get the most money on screen?’ New Zealand was the answer. I’ve seen more of our budget end up on screen than it did in the U.S. in season one.”

New Zealand also added a breath-taking backdrop to the swashbuckling adventures of the crew. The lush greenery and stunning coastline provided the perfect setting for the 67-day shoot in Auckland at the end of 2022. There were around 50 sets involved, including the 30-acre forest behind the Kumeu Film Studio, Piha Beach, Howick Historical Village and the wild, black sand Bethells Beach.

And there’s one returning figure impossible to miss on the soundstage: The Revenge, the stately ship that Stede Bonnet and Blackbeard (a.k.a. Ed) commandeered at the end of season one. In real life, it was carefully transported across the Pacific Ocean from the show’s original Los Angeles soundstage. The Revenge is approximately 7m x 28m and there were 3x boat sets that were used to create 10 different boats. The production shot in the Dive Tank at Kumeu Film Studios, built a floating market in the Republic of Pirates, and provided storm water effects for The Revenge.

Virtual Production

Given that many scenes in Our Flag Means Death take place on the deck of a ship at sea, virtual production was the most practical and cost-effective way of filming.

Virtual production is the process of generating motion picture or computer-generated photorealistic imagery displayed on a dynamically active large scale LED wall to create a ‘virtual’ environment or location on a soundstage.

Surrounding the ship was a giant “volume” wall comprised of 1700 LED monitors displaying a photorealistic ocean background with rolling waves. As a crane-mounted camera weaved around, the images on the digital display moved with it, creating a seamlessly integrated backdrop.

The New Zealand vendors that worked on the screen were NEP Sweetwater, NEP Big Picture, Riggaz with Attitudes, Theatrical Solutions, Xytech and Disguise.

The creative benefit of shooting on the volume wall was that the production could shoot in multiple locations and times of day all within just a few hours. Additionally, the actors could interact with what they are seeing and the lighting shifted in real time.

Careful planning of scenes and shots resulted in the rapid and efficient deployment of a select number of pre-processed moving plates (backgrounds) on set. Paihia, Bay of Islands, Mercer Bay Loop and Waitakere were among the New Zealand locations featured in the plate shots.

The New Zealand Screen Production Rebate - (International) and 5% Uplift

The New Zealand Film Commission (NZFC) and Tourism New Zealand (TNZ) partnered with Max on season two of the show as a part of the New Zealand Screen Production Grant 5% Uplift.

The partnership recognised the significant economic, cultural and industry benefits the Our Flag Means Death production brought to New Zealand. This included a marketing partnership with TNZ and NZFC to promote New Zealand as a tourism and filmmaking destination. It also included a knowledge-sharing programme related to the LED Volume Wall used during production, and collaborations with New Zealand-based virtual production companies and a wider industry workshop.

The 5% Uplift has now been redeveloped:It’s simple to navigate, and the criteria is clearer and more objective. Has increased opportunities to earn points in the test. Has increased weighting on New Zealand screen workforce development and production activity. Recognises repeat business to encourage studios and productions to return. Introduces sustainability criteria to support Aotearoa New Zealand’s shift to a low-emissions economy.

Applications open for the redeveloped 5% Uplift on 1 November 2023, documentation and guidance will be provided before this date.

The New Zealand Film Commission administers the NZSPR for International Productions on behalf of the Ministry of Business, Innovation and Employment.

The purpose of the NZSPR for International Productions is to incentivise the production of foreign and domestic large budget films, television and other format productions in New Zealand in order to provide economic and industry development benefits to New Zealand. More information here.

About Our Flag Means Death

Our Flag Means Death is based (very) loosely on the true adventures of 18th century would-be pirate Stede Bonnet (Rhys Darby). After trading the seemingly charmed life of a gentleman for one of a swashbuckling buccaneer, Stede became captain of the pirate ship Revenge. Struggling to earn the respect of his potentially mutinous crew, Stede’s fortunes changed after a fateful run-in with the infamous Captain Blackbeard (Taika Waititi). To their surprise, the wildly different Stede and Blackbeard found more than friendship on the high seas…they found love. Now, they have to survive it.

In New Zealand, season two debuts on Neon on October 6 and is coming soon to Sky Open.

here's a small crack fic about Hat Kid Bow Kid Mu and Snatcher playing DND together based on the Song Perception Check because I thought this was funny

(DISCLAIMER! I have never actually played a game of DND BUT I really want to and I've been doing research on it (and yes before anyone ask Snatcher is playing a homebrew race that's a playable version of the hostile Shadows because he can)

Perception Check

Bow held the "designated book of lore and important stuff" in her hand as Hattie and Mu prepared for their turns. "on the horizon of the woods you see a group of mysterious cloaked figures making their way towards you" Mu springs up in excitement "my Half Orc Barbarian prepares her battle axe-" Hat Kid interrupts her enthusiasm pointing to the dice. "I rolled a one" Bow sorted through a stack of papers"critical failure... Your turn Hattie!" Hat kid rolled the dice "well my Human Rouge darts behind a tree!" Only for her to realize what number the dice landed on. Bow looked over at the dice in slight disappointment. "Another critical fail... Snatcher what does your Shadow bard do?" The groups attention was turned to the ghost in "Prince Mode" (as Hattie called it) sitting at the very end of the table with his clawed hands placed behind his head and his legs propped up on the table "act of perception check!" He said with a smug smile pulling out a violin for dramitic effect. Bow looked through the pile of random papers. "You percive that the hooded figures are looking for a fight!" Snatcher played a note on his violin. "WELL KIDDO'S LETS MESS THEM UP!" Hat Kid and mu rolled together as Snatcher prepared to play another note. "I rolled a 1..." "I rolled a 1!" "PECK!" The note was played slightly off tune. Bow read from the "designated book of lore" "so you notice that one of the hodded figures is a little shorter-" "I CAST VICIOUS MOCKERY!" Snatcher shouted rolling the dice. Hat Kid and Mu watched the dice land and they both shouted "NAT 20!" as Bow stared in pure shock Snatcher stood up on the table "LETS GO!" he then proceeded to play his violin and musically rant about how nobody loved the hooded figure because of how short they were and that everybody thought they were just a head when they were born. Bow Kid gazed upon the scene in pure horror as Hattie and Mu cheered him on. She looked back at the book scanning the page "Your attack absolutely shatters the mind of the cloaked individual roll..." the spirit grinned holding his violin "perception check!" The smug ghoul declared. Bow shouted in distress "you percive that the figure was so short because it was a CHILD!" The spirits grin did not falter "specifically the child that we've been trying to return to their mother for 15 days in-game and 5 days of our actual lives..." Hattie and Mu looked less enthusiastic now as the whole party proceeded to stare at the anxiously grinning ghost "well... the body is just laying there right?" Bow knew exactly where this was going "RIGHT?" "please dont-" Snatcher got back up on top of the table played his violin and shouted "LOOT THAT BODY!!!" causing Mu to slam her fist down, Hat Kid to go into a laughing fit, and Bow to put her head into her hands and start sobbing as Snatcher continued to play his violin "that's enough for today im done..." Bow was defeated. Hopefully the campaign would be more manageable the next day.

See I love all actors of HOD but there's nothing wrong in having fancast. Don't take it as I am downgrading anyone of HoD actors. They are amazing. Just sharing initial my fancast😂. I would love to see your earlier fancast too ♥️

For Aegon 2nd - louis hofmann

If I say about his acting, he would be nailing as Aegon. Regarding age and all would be best in every way. He would have done so well with acting range required for Aegon

Daemon - alexander skarsgård

Sorry but on this ! You can't disagree. I wanted him so badly as Daemon before the show started. I would still if it was anyone beside matt who would be perfect Daemon. It's him ! for me he was perfect fancast for Daemon perfect in every way whether it's looks, acting, physical traits

Daeron - sebastian croft

Acc to me, he's someone who would fit Daeron very well actor who should look like a teenage, smaller than his both brothers but aprrox equal to jace correctly with his age N acting skills, looks. In young actors he's the one who I think who can act really well for someone that should be cute, babyish, pretty, gentle guy but at same time should able to play a bitchy bad side too. He's my fancast for Daeron even now ( when I know he won't be there😭)

Aemond - alex høgh andersen

He is the one I literally fan casted Aemond while reading FNB😭. The craziness, brutal shit, physique, dialogue delievery and all others which were very important for Aemond, he would have given it all. He was the only one iws would have done Aemond perfect. Believe me when I say Ewan Mitchell as Aemond's casting is God's work because I don't think anyone would have done justice to Aemond except these two only. Beware - Interview with the Vampire thoughts (and spoilers)!

I am not going to lie, I have found the interview part of this show so much more interesting than the flashback parts (not to say the flashbacks/story isn’t interesting but there is so much going on in the present time scenes) So in my musing, I was wondering why they were doing the Interview again almost 50 years later and I think I have figured it out. I don’t think it is because Louis wanted to set the narrative right (we all know his story is full of holes and he is being controlled. Even he was confused by parts of the story he supposedly ‘lived’) I think it is because Armand wanted to see Daniel.

Its been years since I read the books but I remember that Armand and Daniel had a seriously toxic and obsessive relationship which drove Daniel to almost die before Armand turned him. In this reality, Daniel was clearly not turned *coughyetcough* but I think the relationship still happened.

I think at the end of the relationship, Armand was faced with the choice to either kill Daniel, turn him or let him go and in this reality, he chose the last option. He wiped the relationship from Daniel’s mind and tried to set up shop with Louis to forget about him but on learning of Daniel’s diagnosis, Armand decided he needed to see Daniel one last time.

He manipulated Louis into thinking about the interview again so there was a reason for Daniel to return and he hid out as a servent so he could see Daniel but still have the option to walk away while Daniel didn’t remember him.

He saw how sick Daniel is getting and knows Daniel doesn’t have long to live so he was trying to spend as much time with Daniel as possible (the prayer scene, the dinner scene etc) and help him by getting him the best medical care.

I think this reveal has shown Armand’s hand. He has decided he wants Daniel back and is going to allow Daniel to remember him now. (Also, I think he is now remembering how much of a little shit Daniel can be when he is going after something he wants, be it the truth from Louis or being turned because that reveal was insane)

I hope season 2 will go into their past relationship (and not just because of the amazing casting for young Daniel. Seriously, I thought HOD was good casting but young Daniel and old Daniel are spooky in how much alike they are) and I think Armand’s end game is now going to be Daniel. Daniel doesn’t realise it yet but he is no longer in control of his own life (but we know that he is not going to take that laying down.)

Armand has gotten his claws in Daniel again and I think its gonna be a wild ride from here. Bring on Season 2.

Alright I've had enough What is Lor? You've posted enough, I'm intrigued

LOR stands for library of ruina, project moons second game. It'd also my catchall tag for project moon because changing all the posts to that is a lot of effort and I'm a mobile user.

Project moon has three games out: Lobotomy corporation, Library of Ruina, and the newly released Limbus Company (each with a lot of world building)

Lobotomy corporation is an scp manager (monster management etc), Library of Ruina is a deck building game (/ card game), and Limbus Company is a dungeon crawler rpg (I think?? Also a gacha but is f2p / free to play friendly)

Both lobotomy corporation and Library of Ruina share most of the same cast while Limbus company has a completely new cast (though the whole game isn't out yet so I have no idea if anyone from past games show up but I hope they do).

In both Lobcorp and LOR you have Angela and the 9 Sephirah (Maluth, Yesod, Hod, Netzach, Tiphereth, Gebura , Chesed, Binah, and Hokma) as well as Roland in LOR. (I'm not about to name 9ff all of the reverberation ensemble but theyre the general antagonists of that game)

In Limbus company you have Dante, Vergilius, Charon , and the twelve sinners (Gregor, Rodion, Sinclair, Yi Sang, Ishmael, Heathcliff, Don Quixote, Hong Lu, Ryōshū, Meursault, Outis, and Faust).

All of these games take place in a place called The City. The city has 26 districts (A-Z but Z isn't on the map). The city has a place called a wing (megacorp who runs a district) which have nests (towns) , feathere (people inside the nests), and backstreets (the place the nest doesn't encompass. Also where syndicates control. Each being the Five fingers ( The Thumb, The index (hands out prescripts), The middle, The ring, and The pinky). Each syndicate has subsidiaries but I'm not getting into that). ) There are also Fixers (hired mercenaries). Theyre graded from 9 (lowest) to 1 (highest) and then given a color (color Fixers are higher than 1). Theyre given these ranks by the Hana association (big association that hands out fixer titles etc).

Notable Color Fixers are The red mist, the blue reverberation (guy in my icon), the purple tear, and the black silence. (The vermillion crost exists but I'm not mentioning that bc spoilers. Also the Red Gaze but that's for limbus company)

In Lobcorp you're tasked with managing your abnormalities (scp) to make power (and I won't spoil how that goes)

In LOR you're tasked with fighting people (in receptions) and turning them into books so Angela (head librarian) can learn more about the city

In Limbus company you're tasked with finding and retrieving Golden Boughs (leftovers from the seed of light)

This is the like, easiest way I can explain them without slapping spoilers all over the place and trying to explain them in full.

wasn't in love with most of the cast; patterson, joe, and julia were all good, though. david was significantly not weird enough although i did love the dead animals. i hated yassified barnabas way less than i thought i would mostly because he was a weird, violent, offputting freak even though he looks like handsome squidward.

one hour 30 minutes later still not really sure who daphne is. possibly mark collins' daughter and this is what i'm truly hoping for.

the interior set design was delightful and honestly a redeeming feature. clock too tiny though.

dialogue was excellent! i've heard barnabas' speech about the global network and exploitation of labor necessary to build collinwood three times and by god if i won't eat it up for a fourth time.

carolyn obviously coming onto vicki for most of this episode, as it should be

julia working at nyu is so right. i believe you. that woman teaches downtown not uptown for sure.

Kabbalah: The Three Triads

Logoic Triangle The topmost triad is the logic, or supernal, triangle. The holy trifecta of Father, Son, Holy Spirit, also known as Brahma, Vishnu and Shiva, or Osiris, Isis and Horus.

This triad contains the mystery of the trimurti or the trifecta in Christianity. Chokmah, the Christ, is an unfoldment from Kether, the Father. Binah, the Divine Mother is an unfoldment of the Christ.

Ethical Triangle

The middle triad is the ethical triangle. Revolutionary ethics have nothing to do with right and wrong as we understand it, but always working to have the will of God prevail, to allow the divine influences to guide the lower.

In this triad contains the sephiroth called Chesed, Geburah and Tiphareth. Here is the mystery of the human soul united to the divine soul, something that happens at a certain stage of initiation, a wedding of the soul to the spirit.

Samael Aun Weor writes in his book, The Initiatic Path in the Arcana of Tarot and Kabbalah that while the human soul, which is masculine, works, the divine soul, which is feminine, plays. This is the union of love that everyone on earth is truly searching for.

The sephiroth Geburah and Chesed represent the balance of justice and mercy. Justice without mercy is tyranny; mercy without justice is anarchy.

Magical Triangle

The lowest triad is the magical triangle, consisting of the mental, astral and vital worlds.

The sephiroth called Netzach, Hod and Yesod.

We who have our center of gravity in the physical world can access these higher planes only by uniting our vital force, intention and mind toward the divine. Here is the bridge to access the will of our Being, and the wisdom and love of God. This is the realm of ritual which is an act that vibrates into other dimensions.

Malkuth

Malkuth is the physical plane. Malkuth is a fallen sephirah.

It is the “wilderness” where Adam and Eve (the Lemurian humanity) were cast after they had eaten the fruits of the tree of knowledge and broken the law of God.

There are 48 cosmic laws in Malkuth, 24 laws in Hod, 12 in Netzach, and only 1 law: law of love, in Kether.

In Malkuth we have a much greater struggle against materialism to find the spiritual, which is understood with a study of the tree of knowledge. We stand on the brink of heaven and hell.

Above us is Yesod, the 9th sphere, the vital sexual force, the way off of the tree. Below us is the Klipoth, the shadow realms, where there are more laws, more darkness, more conditioning.

Dad Naofumi and the multiverse

Naofumi keeps getting summoned in random worlds where at leaste one of the main cast pre cannon or cannon that has daddy/mommy issues, he'll just adopt them somehow keepinh in contact with them after he had left the world. It still continues in rotsh

Whenever there's a holiday celebrating parents in any of hod children's world, he'll get presents and letters (yes everyone contacts each other and have met, yes he has gotten letters that say grandma/pa) that he saves, and clothes are given to Raphtaila, Filo, Metly, Ren and any other children he adopted in this world.

Naofumi sent one letter gushing about therese and larc leading to his "doom". He got spammed on the phone one of his kids sent him that somehow works in the world asking if they were hot, kind, special, worthy of him. Some asking if he got laid which he didn't answer and some going k.
