seriously though, this turned out to be harder to answer than I thought! I did actually manage to pull Stitch Lilia (THANK YOU TWSTFEST for the free bonus keys!) and he's absolutely adorable, I've literally been doing random battles just to watch him surf around and high-five Stitch. a fine addition to the Lilia collection!

in terms of proudest/most unbelievable achievement, that is 100% when I somehow managed to pull every single Scary Monsters card except one (only missing Rook!). I think I used up all my luck on that one, but at least it was for the Halloween cards! (after Scary Monsters and Glorious Masquerade, I'm so afraid of what this year's Halloween event is going to be, what if they look amazing how am I supposed to save my keys nooooo)

if I REALLY have to pick one, though...there is actually one card that I think I would call my favorite! he just makes me happy every time I look at him. :>

Went to a really cool Japanese culture festival yesterday -- I wasn't sure if it would lean more towards serious culture or weeb territory, but it ended up a pretty even mix of both 😂

It was a really good time hanging out with some super nice new people and trying out a local event! I even got a little Sayori charm as well as earrings that look a lot like Mappi's ;--;

oooo okay so this one is a peterick fic where pete’s a spirit tied to this magical piano in the woods (hence. yeah) and i was gonna have patrick stumble upon this piano and like. fall in love with it because it’s a gorgeous piano and we all know he can’t resist a musical instrument. and one day while he’s playing it, this guy (pete) shows up and he’s very mysterious but then it gets revealed that pete is a nature spirit and patrick moves the piano into his house and through the power of love they form a band and whatnot etc etc.

Deep in the woods, shaded by trees stretching miles high, surrounded by thick bushes, and creeping with ivy, is a standing piano. It’s a dark, brassy brown, with weathering keys made of ivory, and lovingly carved fleur-de-lis and oak leaves set into its panels. The wood is weathered and faded in places where the sun frequently rests, but the lacquer hasn’t lost its sheen, and it’s always in tune.

It sits, nestled into the brush and the grass and the dirt, and waits.

Patrick is so close to shoving his foot up this lady’s ass, and resisting the urge is making his neck sweat.

“I’m truly, truly sorry, but due to the shipping delay, we won’t have oat milk again until tomorrow,” he explains for the eighteenth fucking time.

“This is an outrage,” the lady screeches. Her neck stretches higher as she attempts to posture up to him, like an extendable straw. “This is-is—This is against my rights!”

Patrick sighs. She’s been raving about rights and outrages and calling the police (over oat milk? seriously?) for eleven minutes and thirty four seconds now, and Patrick is about to just give up and launch fair trade paper cups at her until she leaves. “I’m sorry, ma’am. Could I recommend the Starbucks two blocks over? I’m sure they have the services you are looking for.”

“Y-You!” She splutters. Her face is bright red and glistening with effort and misplaced rage, and there’s spit all over Patrick’s counters.

Finally, finally, Patrick’s replacement walks in through the belled doors.

“Hi,” Andy calls out. “Sorry about the wait. You said there’s a problem with a customer?” Patrick could kiss Andy right about now. Andy Hurley, co-owner of Groove Beans Cafe (<- no), is wearing a worn tank top that shows off all of his muscles and heavily tattooed skin, his signature basketball shorts are hiked up on his waist so his thigh tattoos are also as visible as possible, and he’s holding a black baseball bat that’s chipped at the edges.

The lady takes one look at him, pales dramatically, and leaves. Not even a good-fucking-bye, Patrick thinks. Not that he wants her to continue talking for even one more second.

“You are a fucking god-send,” Patrick praises.

Andy shrugs and slips his hoodie back on. It’s embroidered with a little coffee cup, and it’s got both their initials on it. “Couldn’t leave you to the sharks. Besides, I could feel the tip jar getting full.”

Patrick sends a flat stare as Andy looks into the “tip jar” (a giant mug with I <3 UR MOM hand painted on it) and shakes it so the coins clink. “For someone who’s so against capitalism,” Patrick says, “you sure love money.”

Yeah the part two would mainly focus on the town's folks first interactions with the twins and their Pokémon. Most would be completely made up since we haven't fully seen everyones take on them.

Potentially interactions were:

Pierre's hostile first meeting the twins and their starter, he places a 'no Pokémon allowed' sign on the door because he's subtle. (He also hints that all Pokémon were driven out by removing all berry plants when they try to buy berries)

Harvey being a good person but they mistake his friendliness as professionalism, he falls in love with Klinklang.

Emmet and Durant mets Sebastian out on a walk, it is painfully awkward. Sebastian thinks a giant metal ant is cool.

Jas and Vincent sneak into the railway. They met Archeops and call her a turkey since she's 'too big to be a chicken'.

OK I've realised I actually have alot more scenarios then I first thought (I have four-five more tucked away) so that part two is actually possible.

Most of the people are just awkward around the twins and their Pokémon but the few who are hostile kinda warp their views on things.

Fun fact: in the drafts of the fic, the scene between Lewis and the twins was called 'Lewis pulls some petty manager-esque BS to bully Train Boys into not fucking up his train station'.

For Harvey, we were thinking that he isn't opposed to Pokémon exactly, just more concerned about the health risks they pose. The twins themselves aren't the healthiest people (Emmet collapses from overwork in his 2-heart event....) and they're a bit out of the norm even among other Pokémon trainers. He's worried for them and they find a mutual annoyance between Harvey's nagging and the twins' stubbornness. Here's their checkup dialogue! Ingo is haunted and Emmet is immune to paralysis due to prolonged exposure. They're fine.

Harvey and Klinklang would be cute though, I haven't considered that!! It fits well since we were thinking that Maru would adore Klinklang too... We were thinking that Maru would be the one to look into getting better Pokemon healthcare in Stardew Valley (with the help of Marnie, since they're essentially animals)... the hospital nerds and Klinklang!

And oh god..... Emmet and Sebastian..... man do I have thoughts on that. Any interaction would definitely be awkward between them and quite possibly end in disaster. I know a few people want to see Emmet and Sebastian together but outside of both of them being the "rude but really just socially inept" type, I think they would clash. Since the twins are on good terms with Maru because she watches over the pokemon for research(/babysitting), Sebastian might be bitter towards them out of association, the twins themselves would feel sorry for Maru for having her brother hate her for no reason of her own. The twins support each other and push each other to be the best they can be, they're inseparable (or at least... shouldn't be separated...) and the thought of their sibling hating them terrifies them. I wouldn't say that they have a healthy relationship since they're a bit dependent on each other, being a two-car train and all.

Ingo would dislike Sebastian for being a bad big brother, and Emmet would dislike him for how ungrateful he is for the people in his life; Emmet's distaste would be stronger though. Along with being terrible to Maru, Sebastian's relationships with his friends would also raise red flags for Emmet (poor guy has trust issues and a low tolerance for that kind of thing). Sam and Abigail both favor Sebastian, but Sebastian has lines about not really seeing Abigail as a friend and thinking that Sam is clingy/annoying to hang out with. Emmet is a little insecure about being the lesser-liked twin and an outcast, he's lonely and while he doesn't bother with faking courtesy like Ingo, he is still verrrry grateful for anyone who isn't deterred by him for whatever reason that may be. Emmet is also a bit clingy with the few people who do win his trust and would probably make Sebastian feel bad for being a bad friend. Emmet and Sebastian are opposites in a conflicting way.

Here's some dialogue made super early on referencing how Sebastian visits the Railroad in his schedules:

Sebastian has a line about how he used to like trains when he was younger too, but it's very distant and angsty, like much of his reflections. He'd probably think of the twins being passionate about their special interest in trains to be a little cringe.... they would think he's cringe for not liking trains as much as them. I feel like they would project a bit and see each other as a reminder of their insecurities so.... they would not be good being together for too long.

Sebastian taking an interest in Durant would be interesting though..... Durant and Excadrill in this mod are drafted to have a henchman and mafia boss dynamic with each other and are always getting into trouble together so maybe he'd enable their shenanigans.

We do have a bit about Jas and Vincent liking Pokemon too! They'd love Archeops since he's basically an extra big and colorful chicken... the kids and Evelyn are the three people who aren't initially deterred by Pokemon, they get used to it for the most part later though.

Do you have a favorite season? Or a least favorite one?

Season 2 is my favorite. The show's overall quality improves a lot in season 2 (as is usually the case with cartoons) and Double D is still fairly laid back and not afraid to act like a kid. The Eds also get along really well in season 2 while still getting an extra kick of spiciness and sassiness between them that season 1 didn't have as much. Season 2 is also the one I remember watching most in my childhood, so it's very nostalgic for me. I have especially strong memories of mirror mirror on the Ed and one+one=ed. Season 3 is a close second for my favorite season, followed by season 4, then season 5, then the first season.

A fictional male character you wish was real?

Ooh see that’s difficult to answer because I have so many and all have specific stipulations, moral/ethical issues, and personal reasons for me wanting them to exist. So I’ll just kinda list a few because I have no chill lol

Simon “Ghost” Riley (Call of Duty)

Based on canon, he’s a very compassionate man despite his career choice. Seems like he’d actually do a lot of good in our world and we could really use that. Big scary dog tax and I’d absolutely love to be the love of his life. BUT!!! Mans been through SO much trauma and loss canonically that I struggle with the ethics/morals of bringing that man into the real world if I was given the chance. Would I really want a real living, breathing human to endure that all so I could have them in my life? I don’t think I could. And if I could make him real without all his trauma, he wouldn’t be the man the fandom has fallen in love with.

Captain John Price (Call of Duty)

If I had to pick one guy from COD who’d I’d have zero hesitation or moral issues bringing to life in the real world, it’d be Price. Seems like he’d make a great husband and father. Would do anything for the people he cares about. Mans got a quokka smile and it has me weak. I’m a sucker for soft but dangerous men with ridiculous facial hair. Downside would be that, as his wife, I’d be constantly at risk of danger because of who he is and what he does for a living. Not to mention long deployments where one day he might not come back to enjoy retirement and domestic bliss.

Scar (Yautja from AVP)

I know the Predators are terrifying and likely (definitely) would kill me before I’d get the chance to try and make them fall in love with me, but I just think they’re really neat. Love the lore and character design. There’s the moral/ethical issues of them hunting our kind for sport, but I’m a bit morally grey here. They only hunt bad guys or very competent fighters. They don’t just strike down anyone indiscriminately unless they themselves are Bad Bloods.

The Doctor (Doctor Who)

Not too set on which incarnation of The Doctor I would bring into the real world because I know he’ll just regenerate eventually—though Doctors 9-11 are my favorite because they were my firsts. I would love to go along for the ride as a companion, I just think it’d be neat. But I’d definitely fall in love and that always ends in heartbreak canonically. There’s also the moral/ethical issues of the inevitable alien threats that he’s always gotta save the world from. I’d imagine there’d be a lot of death and destruction in their wake. But on the other hand, he could take me on some really fun dates through time and space. Double edged sword.
