Since coming out of the hospital and learning of the spy, Vincent has been more vigilant of his surroundings. He felt uneasy that someone might still be following him...even in another country. After resting he was a bit more alert, so just to be cautious, he asked Jay if he had any hats to wear to hide his face, especially in the busy town centre.
Some paintings in the building caught Renee's attention and she took some photos. One stood out in particular. It had a plane statue and she could see some people in the background. Armed with weapons.
Transcript:
Renee: Jay do you know what these paintings are of?
Jay: These are of Chestnut Ridge and the plane one…I dunno. Maybe the next town? Or made up?
Renee: Oasis Springs doesn't look like that. I wonder if that's Strangerville.

I'm half asleep and running basically entirely on hyperfixation fumes so this thought process might be literally nothing but I'm thinking about how we as the viewer don't get to start making decisions in the Markiplier Cinematic Universe Canon until after the DA's death in WKM. We experience the entire series through their point of view and it's presumed we continue to inhabit their character throughout the canon (at least through date and heist, I'm ignoring space for my purposes bc my grasp on how that fits into the story is fuzzy at best on a good day lmao) but it isn't until after the events of wkm have played out that we start making decisions on their behalf
But anyways something something at the end of wkm they die at the hands of Wil, and they give up their body to Damien and Celine, and their story to Mark, and their autonomy to the viewer. Someone who isn't eepy as hell turn this into a more coherent line of thought for me

I have a vague memory of seeing one of your posts on reddit like a year ago, but I have no idea if it is a real memory or not.
A year ago?? What bangers was I putting out a year ago reddit felt the need to repost?
Even if you're hallucinating something that didn't happen, that's still impressive.

Me: Mother, we should dress the baby up for halloween.
Mother: She's not even four months old yet, she doesn't need candy.
Me: I didn't say anything about candy???
Mom: But then why dress her up?
Me:....You know, just because you've dressed up two babies before now, doesn't mean that it's not still fun >:C
Mom: I've dressed up two babies before, which means I already know how much this one is going to squirm and fuss when she gets uncomfortable.
Me:
Mom:
Me: But-
Mom: You already bought a costume, didn't you?
Me: YES, look at it, it's a little pumpkin overalls set, with a matching hat-
Mom: She'll be too hot-
Me: I considered that when I bought the fabric. It's made out of muslin, so depending on what the weather is like, we can put it on her as just clothes, or we can get her cozy with something warmer underneath.
Mom:
Me:
Mom: You made this?
Me: Yes. the costumes at the store are scratchy and they smell weird.
Mom: ....we should try it on her to make sure it fits...
Me: I mean, it's pretty loose already. I wanted her to be able to wiggle around if she wanted to. Plus I added some extra snaps in case we needed some extra room, or she decided to get significantly bigger in the next month.
Mom: Honey, I'm saying that I would like to put the baby in the pumpkin suit right this very second, because it's very cute.
Me: Oh. Okay! I think Dad has her?

I've been going full on nostalgia the last little while, and opened up Gaia Online recently for the first time in a decade. I got so carried away with dressing my avatar up, I had to draw a couple looks lol

So, seeing a random thing on the dash about how folks who try to make amends and grow from past mistakes are better than those who dig up dirt reminded me of a post I saw a while back about callout posts. I wound up giving my onion on that one on one of my sideblogs.
It was about how callout posts don't do anything but hurt people - they tend to punch down, gang up people on somebody, will be based on rumors and conjecture more than fact most of the time, whip people into a frenzy and sometimes even if the allegations are true, just don't really do anything. (And when not true or needlessly hurtful, cause real harm).
I had this whole spiel about how that happened to me in one of my fandoms - how a private fight confined to Discord snowballed out of control and in conjunction with me having bad mental health times and a personal spiral led to someone who was only tangeitally involved, but who was a fandom bigwig in a small subfandom-of-a fandom doing a tumblr callout post instructing the entirety of the subfandom, including people who weren't on Discord and weren't involved to shun me / called me an emotional predator / insinuated that the suicidal ideation that I was posting on my own personal blog (that named no names, it was just me whining and expressing a very precarious mental state) was fake...
And how that drove me over the edge into... need for hospitalisation.
The sub-fandom, for the most part, still hasn't forgiven me, despite any and all attempts to approach and make amends. Even just leaving everyone alone never did anything. It was three years ago, so everyone's moved on and I met new people in that fandom and have since, recently, moved on to a new-old fandom of mine that means much more to me (I've been into a specific anime / manga since 2001 and a recent reboot renewed my fandom) and is overall a much more chill fandom. So, it's not really a big deal anymore.
It's just that I still have some wounds from it. And that thing I just saw about people bettering themselves and moving on made me think of the whole mess.
I've never done a callout post.
