So, I saw my brother made a ship request for The Bad Batch (this is my first time doing one, so I'm a bit nervous), and I decided to do one, too. So, I'm 5'6 with blue eyes and blonde hair in a ponytail. I love reading, and making art and writing. I love fantasy and science-fiction stuff. I love having shirts that the sleeves go over my fingers, and I'm autistic. I hyperfixate ALOT (especially with Star Wars, specifically The Bad Batch) and I have three cats. Can't wait to see the results! ^^
(also requested SFW, and specified cisgender straight female)
I'm glad to be your first ship request facilitator (if that's what it is... idk). Also, tell your cats I say hi!
I ship you with...
Tech!
Tumblr media
Tech is a very logic-oriented person. His mind is very organized, and does very well with structure. On the other hand, art is something he's never really understood, tried or, frankly, even liked. That changed when he met you. When he saw not only your art, but the way you interact with it, he became mesmerized. He wanted to know all about your creative process, and asks how he can be helpful. Tech loves getting you new supplies and doing research on which brands/types of supplies work best with your art styles. When you make a piece of art inspired by him, Tech doesn't have much of an outward reaction, but inside, he's bursting with emotion. He doesn't really understand what emotions he's feeling, but he is beyond grateful that you love him so much to put your time and energy into making something about him.
When growing up on Kamino, Tech and his brothers didn't have access to stories, especially not fantasy stories, so he was fascinated when you introduced him to the fantasy genre. It's well known that Tech ingests information about as well as Wrecker ingests food, so when you hand him one of your favorite fantasy novels, he becomes engrossed in it. Sometimes when he's reading, you'll hear him mutter to himself about what he thinks the characters' thought processes are in order to predict what they might do next, and it can be quite entertaining to listen to.
When Tech finds out you like to hyperfixate on The Bad Batch, he's initially a bit confused, partly because he had no idea that their stories were told here. He asks to watch the series, which you happily pull up. The two of you end up binge-watching the series in less than a week, and you love every second of it. Tech is a bit miffed that the animators don't accurately portray how he and his brothers look, but he keeps his remarks to a minimum while the show is actually playing. However, Tech does like to provide commentary about how certain events actually played out, as well as discussing his own thought processes from while he was in the moment. Ultimately, he's happy that you wanted to share one of your favorite fixations with him, because to him, sharing in one's obsessions is one of the best love languages.
-
Thanks for reading! If you want a ship request like this one, drop it in my ask box, and don't forget to reblog <3 it may take a little bit, but I'll get to it eventually!
Also, I haven't seen anything about #unwhitewashtbb recently, but on my page we support Temuera Morrison-accurate clone protrayals

It's the Cat's Life for Me
Pairing: Ranboo x Reader, Tommy x Reader, Tubbo x Reader, Purpled x Reader
Request: Can I have your take on the yandere boys (purpled, ranboo, tommy, and tubbo) with a cat hybrid reader? Don't overwork yourself and remember self care! <3
Word count: 1.6k words
A/n: This all platonic, nothing romantic. Also oops i didn't make it yandere- misread it.
Tumblr media
Ranboo
He’d definitely be excited to meet you, especially since you’re a hybrid. He’s an enderman hybrid and you are? Oh a cat hybrid! That’s really cool! You two should hang out a few times- it’ll be great.
When he realizes and puts the pieces together, he gets ultra excited. Most cats don’t like water, right? So does that mean you don’t like water or- oh you definitely don’t like water! Or water in that way. Maybe water period- you know what he shouldn’t and won’t try that again.
Now you two playfully threaten each other with water. You, at least, would have a squirt bottle at the reader for whenever the moment is right. Ranboo does the same. Think old wild west style shoot off. That’s what happens.
There has to be loads of cuddle sessions with purring. Specifically to calm one of you down. Or both of you. Doesn’t matter, works all the same.
I don’t care what Mojang said; endermen can and will be fluffy.>:( They have to be. So you just pet each other to help calm down. Either be pet or pet, that is the question. Honestly it’s a “whatever you think works best for you bud” thing.
So I already mentioned how you helped with his anxiety. But I want to go slightly more in depth with it. Anytime he seems like he’s panicking, and you get his permission, you just flop on him and purr up a storm. The combination of weight, sound, heat and feeling is very comforting to him. You’re like a living weighted blanket!
Also you totally nap on him during this time, making it impossible for him to stand up and do anything. Just designated chill time.
When this man enderwalks, it’s a whole cute show. Just an enderman hybrid, slightly hunched and walking around the server, muttering stuff in a different language. Then you got that cat hybrid that’s following him and occasionally rubbing against him. Especially if they think he’s about to get into trouble.
Sometime he’ll just pick you up and carry you around with him. It’s the equivalent of a child picking up the family cat and walking around with it. He isn’t properly holding you so you do that cat slinky thing where they just elongate like a slinky. You aren’t pleased but you can’t get out of his grasp.
Tommy
Okay kinda following the headcannon that Tommy has wings here. But when he finds out you’re a cat hybrid? Oh man this is so cool! What cat things can you do? Do you know? Want to find out? Want to commit science with him?
He will drop you from great heights and free fall with you. It’s a fun activity only the two of you can enjoy together.
Before you hit the ground, he’ll do his best to grab you and land. Other times aren’t that fortunate so you just land on the ground yourself. Mostly on your feet but there were a few times Tommy messed you your angle. He’ll always make sure you’re okay by the end.
Like any bird, he will love to annoy you. There is no safe place. Look away or don’t pay attention when he’s talking? Grab and gentle yoink the tail. Loves to just attack your tail when you’re relaxed or least expect it.
Once he realizes what effect catnip has on you, it’s game over. He can get you to do whatever he wants! After you play, rub, eat and sniff the catnip. And if he can get and keep your attention. Maybe this was a mistake…
Will absolutely get you cat toys. You don’t enjoy them, yet you do. It’s Tommy’s way of patronizing you but they’re also so fun. Man what a conundrum....
His favorite toy to get you is a laser pointer. Easy entertainment for everyone! Plus it’s his secret weapon. Admittedly his newest. It was something he should’ve realized ages ago. But now? Oh it’s his new best friend- besides you of course.
Losing an argument? Pull out the laser pointer? Wanting you to do something because he’s too lazy? Point that little red dot at a point where you pouncing on it gets his job done.
Play fighting is a very common occurrence between the two of you. Happens right out of the blue. You two could literally be chilling on a hill and then you two are wrestling aggressively on the ground.
Tommy also tries to spook you. Is it effective? Sometimes. Usually not. But when he’s able to get you to jump and just bolt away screaming? Man those are the best reactions! You jump so high too!
Tubbo
Aw man, here comes another fuzzy duo!! You two can easily chill out with each other. It’s incredible. You both calm down together. And just chit chat so much. Emotional support friend? Sure.
You’re so good with Micheal too. Micheal just wants to pet you so much. Big cat? But also human? Good friend? Cool friend? Soft and fuzzy friend!! You’re like a giant talking cat to him, for lack of a better description. You can do human stuff. You just got some animal features.
Another duo that will just cuddle. Bring in Ranboo and Micheal while you’re at it. Make it a family cuddle session!! The little group will see two people cuddling and go “I must join”.
I feel he has an area to grow plants in Snowchester. He just has to. So you know what that means? He’ll grow you stuff! Load of cat grass and some catnip along with other greenery that you like to much on. He makes sure they aren’t poisonous to cats- wait how much of that will apply to you? Do you know?
Okay so you two play fight, but much less aggressively than you and Tommy would. You two also include Micheal. Very gentle play fighting then. Like ultra.
You two fight with what your instincts are telling you. Mostly acting out on the funny animal behaviors that’ll make Micheal laugh or just to have fun with it.
He will get you so many soft things. Just so much. Soft blankets, fluffy pillows and so much else man. Especially trying to get the squishy and soft stuff so you can knead it. Honestly a very endearing sight. You purr so heavily doing it.
Now you two will do gentle headbutts of affection. Very gentle, mind you. You two are very wary of the horns that peak through Tubbo’s fluffy hair. Sometimes the two of you won’t gently butt heads, but butt your heads against other body parts like the upper arm or shoulder. To grab attention and show affection.
Purpled
Now this relationship is going to be mildly different from the get go. There won’t be an innate sense of “what’s right” or how hybrids function as a being/person. See, Purpled is a human. You are a cat hybrid. Two very different species. The backgrounds and some of the body language is different, but you two manage quite well.
So he’ll treat you differently than the other hybrids. Well, only a wee bit. He’lll treat you like the others but in a different way, with a different tone to his actions. It’s very sweet, but you tell him it’s not necessary. He still does it.
One of the cat-like things he found out was that you don’t like water. People usually like water and some cats like water, yet you’re like a majority of cats. You despise getting wet. Attempts at smacking anything that’s getting you wet was what clued him in on this. Specifically when he accidentally did it. Oops.
You two can’t swim together. Napping is really out of the question because he has work and sleeping doesn’t seem like the most interesting activity. Although relaxing, it isn’t too productive.
Activities are hard to come by; stuff you’d want to do with Purpled is stuff he definitely doesn’t want to do and vise versa. After a standstill on what to do, you two started to get creative with the ideas.
Building super tall buildings? Although not safe for Purpled, you can easily take the fall. Along with that, Purpled is more than happy to build tall things. You can’t tell me otherwise because this man built a whole ufo.
Sometimes he’ll even bring you on his mercenary missions. It’s a cool way to hang out and have some more one-on-one time and you two get to work together. A very pog situation.
He tries to give you a part of the money; 50-50 for you guys. But you deny. It was his job, you just came around. Although not too happy about it, because you two worked together on this, he’ll concede. After all, he can just slowly slip the money into your house.
On these trips you not only provide companionship but you also are more than ready to work. Maybe playing coy and cute for a patron at a bar to lure them out and away from the public eye to be executed by Purpled. Or it could be a simple distraction of someone running by. Maybe you’re able to pickpocket the target and get what’s needed. You’re a cute and fuzzy swiss army knife
He loves to get on higher surfaces than you and try to pick you up. Even if it’s only enough to just get your feet on the ground. You do the little cat extension thingy and he thinks that’s super cool and funny. So he’ll do it often. Though you try to object, claiming to not enjoy the process at all. Yet that smile and giggles say otherwise.

What I Thought About "Eda's Requiem" from The Owl House
Salutations, random people on the internet who certainly won’t read this! I am an Ordinary Schmuck. I write stories and reviews and draw comics and cartoons.
...
...
...HOW IS SEASON TWO SO GOOD?! WE'VE HAD SEVEN EPISODES SO FAR, AND EACH ONE OF THEM WAS A HIT!
Take "Eda's Requiem," for example. It's yet another episode where I have NOTHING bad to say about it! That's two weeks in a row where that happened! HOW DOES THIS HAPPEN?!
HOW!
HOW!
...But anyways, "Eda's Requiem." It's another fantastic episode, and I'm about to dive into explaining how and why. Just keep in mind, it's gonna require spoilers to do so, so be wary of that as you keep reading.
Now, let's review, shall we?
WHAT I LIKED
Eda’s Checklist and Grom Photo: Within the first second, "Eda's Requiem" perfectly sets up Eda's central conflict in the episode. Despite spending years being on her own and looking after herself, she now has two kids that she's constantly caring over. Eda can try all she wants to say that she doesn't care, and I bet she has in the past. But given the hard work she's putting into getting King and Luz what they need and having a grom photo of the three of them together pinned in her mirror, it's pretty clear that those two knuckleheads wormed their way into her heart and are never getting out.
Eda’s Worried About King and Luz Leaving: And thus, that's precisely why something like this bothers her so much. Eda inadvertently adopted two rambunctious rapscallions (Yeah, I know. I'll get to it), so the idea of them not being around her anymore is going to be terrifying. That is a situation most parents, especially mothers, can identify with. It’s called empty nest syndrome and it proves just how much Eda loves Luz and King that she can't stand the thought of her babies leaving the nest. It's yet another well-made, wholesome, found-family moment that this series continues to excel at each week, making me extra excited for more like it to come...while also readying myself for heartbreak when one of them eventually does leave Eda.
Eda and Raine’s Music: Ok, I don't know the exact instruments that were played during this episode, but I also don't care because it was all (for lack of a better term) music to my ears. Every time Eda and Raine played resulted in melodies that are so beautiful and filled with so much emotion and feeling that I'm honestly tempted to listen to them again, multiple times, on repeat. Shows rarely do that for me, as background music doesn't always draw me in as much as lyrical songs do. Usually, it takes something so extraordinarily composed to give me the desire to listen again, and that's the case here. So huge congrats to Brad Breek for doing so. Seriously, the man's been killing it this season.
Eda’s Bard Magic Causing Things to Turn to Ash: This was assuredly a surprise side-effect of the curse. The fact that Eda can sort of do magic at all was its own shock. To then reveal that a specific type can do dangerous things to people and environments is...Well, it definitely brings up its own fair share of questions. Like, how can she do this? Will she do it again, one day? And are there other types of spells that can be negatively affected by Eda's curse? We don't get answers for any of these questions, and odds are, we never will. But that's alright with me. Because if a show makes me consider these many possibilities after a brief amount of time, it is a show that has to be doing something right. Even if I don't get the answers I want, the fact that it caused such a reaction makes me less willing to care.
Raine Whispers: Hey, would you look at that. Another fun, interesting, and compelling character added to the list of this shows' other fun, interesting, and compelling characters...how is this series so good at this!?
Joking aside, Raine's pretty good. I like Raine. They could have been this super serious leader who lost all their fun after years apart from Eda, but I'm glad that they're not. There are moments when Raine takes their job as leader of the BATs seriously, as one would, but I still prefer the fact that they kept a jovial nature despite how grim their situation is. It's an admirable trait to have, and it avoids the trope of making leader characters boring just because they're the ones who have to take things seriously.
Oh, and also, Raine's Disney's first non-binary character who has a stake in the plot. This is a tremendous deal, as you don't usually see that many non-binary characters in children's animation, let alone ones that hold importance to the story. So it's pretty cool for the writers to feature Raine, as it helps several kids feel as though they're finally seen and respected. And the fact that Disney of all companies gave the thumbs up is even more impressive. I hear people say that Dana Terrace should have pitched The Owl House to more progressive networks to avoid pushback, and while I absolutely see your point, I'll have to respectfully disagree. Disney is the largest entertainment industry of all time, so if you want to make LGBTQA+ representation normalized, you gotta stop making splashes and start making waves. Because if the same company that made three racist cats in the span of a few years manages to say that being gay is a-ok, then you know there's something wrong with you. Yes, Disney ended up screwing over the show anyway. But for that one moment, when kids felt pride after seeing a character like Raine, then, in the end, it's kind of worth it.
Also, if you're still having issues with more representation like this popping up in kids' shows, then allow me to redirect you to the complaint department.
...I made that post earlier today for this bit. YOU HAVE BETTER APPRECIATED IT!
Day of Unity is meant to be a Secret: At least, that's what I got when Raine stumbled over their own words. So if it's true, then I wonder why? Why does Belos want to keep the most critical change in the Boiling Isles a secret? Does he want to make it a surprise for his grateful subjects, or does he not want to spread worry and fear amongst the wild witches? It has to be something big if he doesn't want his followers to even say the words "Day of Unity." Whatever reason he has, we most likely won't know until the future. A future that I grow more and more afraid of each week.
Hooty Eating Echo Mouse: My heart sank in that brief moment when I thought that Hooty intensely screwed Luz over in getting back home. But looking back...it is pretty funny.
Just the suddenness of Hooty eating the poor creature that Luz desperately tried to earn its trust is priceless in how shocking it was. And also, Luz's expression.
Tumblr media
That was the look of a young girl who immediately shoved her hand down an owl demon's throat the second the scene cut away. The Owl House may not always be a hit in the comedy department, but scenes like this prove that when it's funny, it is hilarious.
Luz and King Entering the Grand Prix: Not much to discuss here. It's just a cute subplot that adds frivolity to the intensity of what's going on through Eda and Raine's story. But I will say that I love how both stories occasionally interconnect with each other through the many moments of Eda being worried about King wanting to leave to find his father and avoiding any conversation about it. It helps both plotlines feel like they belong together, without being something like "Through the Looking Glass Ruins," whereas both stories could have been in their own episode. Which is neat.
How Bard Magic Works: I really love how this season is diving into how the other magic types work. More specifically, the ones that seem a little vague. I mean, stuff like healing, potions, and plants are easy to figure out, but what does it mean when a witch's talents are construction, beast keeping, and bard magic? We've been getting a lot of clearing up lately, with bard magic looking like a witch can control their environments and enemies through the power of music. Which is fair. Music is pretty powerful in the metaphorical sense, and I actually love that it's powerful in the literal sense when in the Boiling Isles.
The BATs: Not much to comment on these three either. The BATs have the potential to have an entertaining dynamic, but they do very little in this episode that I can't say much other than I hope they make a return in the future. But I will make this claim: Amber is my favorite. I'm sorry, but her screaming "You're not our mom!" to then go, "Bye, mommy Eda" is just too precious for me not to love.
I'm a simple man who falls for cute s**t. Leave me alone.
Raeda (RainexEda): Well, EdaxCamila, you were a fun crack ship while it lasted, but I'm afraid that this is now goodbye. The current canon has provided an incredibly adorable and believable relationship that I would be a monster not to support with my whole bi-heart. It's been real.
Ok, back in serious mode: I love these two together. Eda and Raine are grown-ups, and they still act all flustered near each other as if they were still Luz and Amity's age. It's definitive proof that you're never too old to get flustered near a crush, and seeing them interact adds a sense of wholesomeness when seeing them together as well as heartbreak when they're forced apart. Plus, we get confirmation that Eda's LGBTQA+! Whether she's bi, pan, or whatever, now that we know Eda can catch feelings for someone like Raine, it's yet another case that The Owl House is the most important series to the community. Because having the main character be queer is fantastic in its own right. But having the same apply to the motherly mentor figure? That's is an extra bit of normalization that anybody would be willing to appreciate.
Unique Guard Designs: Not many fans are going to appreciate this, primarily compared to everything else this episode does perfectly. For me, I actually like that you see a few Coven Guards looking differently from the others, as it helps make them less like clones and makes it seem like anybody of any body type could be a part of the coven.
Gus Looking Uninterested when Presenting Grand Prix with his Dad: I am positive that you didn't notice this (I didn't even notice it until someone else pointed it out), but there's something to dissect here. It hints that perhaps Gus isn't as interested in his father's field of work as one might think. If he did, he would look a lot less bored and much more excited to be helping Perry Porter present the race. It could just be the race itself, but judging from Gus' expression, it really seems like the kid would prefer to be anywhere but there. And why would he have that reaction to a race that his best friend is competing in? To me, this seems like an inkling of what Gus' relationship with Perry could be, which may not actually get time to shine, what with how little wiggle room the series has now (Thanks Disney). Regardless, it is interesting to notice, and it will certainly have fans thinking for a while.
Bump Being Smug of Luz Being in the Lead: That's it. Principal Bump looking smug as his human student is beating the students of his rivals is yet another moment that proves why Bump is easily the best cartoon principal.
Darius: First of all, this guy is f**king fabulous, and I love him. *Snaps*
Second, he is definitive proof that you do NOT want to f**k around with Coven Leaders. Lilith may have had her intimidating moments, but none of them compare to the guy who can turn himself into an abomination monster where only magic that hasn't existed before can take him down. It's genuinely scary to see Darius lose control, and I fear for the day when Luz inevitably ends up in his crosshairs.
With that said, Darius' still a ton of fun! He may be threatening, but he's just a flamboyant guy that hates the idea of getting his outfit the tiniest bit dirty. And I love that. I love that these Coven Heads have actual personalities instead of being generically evil. I consider it preferable to make villains entertaining rather than blatantly scary as I'll remember the personalities first and the villainous acts last.
Eberwolf: But this one's my favorite. I told you: I'm a simple man who gets easily swayed by cute s**t. And Eber? I mean, just look at her:
Tumblr media
She's just a cute widdle rascal! I just want to pinch her cheeks, give her a belly rub, and--
Tumblr media
...Eberwolf is not a cute widdle rascal. She is a strong, independent woman, and I will respect her as such from this moment forward...lest I feel her wrath.
That is all. Let's move on.
Eda and Raine Attempting a Final Performance: This was the best scene of the episode. It looked gorgeous, it shows the dedication Eda and Raine have for stopping Belos, and it says so much through so little. Go back and look at how Eda and Raine regard one another when performing Eda's requiem. Through their expressions and a few short words, you know they understand that if they complete the song/spell, they probably won't make it in the end. And yet, they don't care. They both know bad stuff will happen if Belos wins, so Eda and Raine put everything to the side, both their feelings for one another and the people they leave behind if it means putting an end to a tyrant. That level of dedication...Words can't fully describe how powerful that is.
Raine Sacrificing Themselves Instead: But in the end, Raine can't do it. Not when they know the life that Eda has and the people she'll be leaving behind. It's an extra bit of nobleness to the character seeing that Raine refuses to take away a woman from two kids who need her the most. A tad bit selfish, sure, knowing what Belos has planned. But when it comes to love, the romantic, familial, or platonic, the best decisions aren't always the logical ones.
Eda Crying: Luz crying tears me up, but seeing Eda cry is a whole different level of heartbreak. Like Lilith, Eda has her emotions locked up tight, with the closest she came to weeping were those two tears in "Young Blood, Old Souls." In "Eda's Requiem," she cries but almost quickly stops herself. As if she knows that doing so isn't going to save Raine. That is...even worse than seeing Luz break down after losing Eda. The fact that Eda refuses to give herself time to mourn losing someone she loved is tragic because crying is the most natural way of showing grief. Turning that off isn't healthy, and seeing her do it with little resistance is sad to me. It's sad to see a character I love can easily shut off all emotions despite how badly she may want to embrace them. It's one of those moments that, again, by doing so little, it shows so much.
“No one watches Crystal Balls anymore. It’s all about streaming.”: Oof. Even I felt that burn towards cable.
King’s Message: King's message was the pick-me-up I needed after the heart-wrenching sadness this episode put me through a few minutes ago. Seeing King say who he is and listing all the things he loves is nothing short of adorable. On top of that, I adore that Eda willingly recorded the whole thing. She may not want King to leave, but that doesn't mean she'll sabotage the one thing he wants. Especially not after Raine gave up everything so Eda could be with her kids. The opening scene may prove how much Eda cares about a rascal like King, but this heartwarmingly sweet moment reveals just how far she'll go to make him happy.
King’s Dad Reveal: ...ok, I'll be honest, I did not think we'd get that reveal this soon. Dumb of me to say, considering the number of times I've said that these writers don't waste time getting to the s**t, I know. But still, it's pretty cool knowing that King's dad is alive and well, added with the fact that we've got a fair idea of what he looks like. At this point, it's only a matter of time before we see him figure out where the Clawthorne residence is and witness the tear-jerking moments that will follow.
King Changing his Name to King Clawthorne: Not the official adoption I was expecting Eda to make...but DANG IT, is it still diabetes-inducing levels of sweetness!
Personally, I feel like the main reason why Eda breaks down this time is not only because she shouldn't be worried about King leaving her life, but also because Raine's sacrifice wasn't in vain. Her kids really do need Eda because no matter how far apart they'll be, she will always be a part of their life...dang it, I'm going to cry too!
What those Coven patches really do: Well...that was horrifying to see.
...Writers, if you kill off the best non-binary character in animation (it's a short list, I know), we are going to have PROBLEMS!
IN CONCLUSION
"Eda's Requiem" is--surprise surprise--another A+. The emotions hit hard, the representation hits harder, Raine is a fantastic addition to the cast, and it was all surprisingly cute at times. Season Two is currently on a hot streak, constantly winning with every episode that's come out so far. When a bad episode does eventually show up (IT'S GONNA HAPPEN!), I'll be sure to sing my requiem then. For now, I'm just gonna enjoy the ride.

Request are open, yay :) Anyways I’d like to request a match up if you don’t mind? For Fe3h preferably
I’m a bi girl so maybe a few matchups, if that’s not too much trouble.
-I really like art and artsy things likes singing, dancing, and writing, as it takes my mind off of the daily struggles.
-I love animals since they’re just so cute!!!
-I’m a huge sucker for comedy and my sense of humor is just anything slightly funny will make me burst out laughing.
-I’m honestly so much like Bernie, we have basically the same trauma, I’m always in my room, and my social anxiety is HIGH
-I’m very loyal and kind of a pushover
-I’m a scaredy-cat, my biggest fear is the dark or my mom
-im super emotional and cry a lot
-it feels weird to keep putting ‘I’m’ because I never really talk about myself that much
-I always want myself and everyone else to be comfortable and happy and I’m kind of the therapist friend
-I’m super insecure and push people away when I’m having problems
I really dunno what else to say so I hope this is enough for you to work with :) Also your writing is super good!!
Glad you find my work super good! I believe I have a lot to improve on but I'm having fun lol
I match you with...
Hilda Valentine Goneril
You both share rather creative set of hobbies. So it's nice to talk about some ideas to distract yourselves.
She doesn't force you to talk about yourself. You don't really need to since she just knows all the things she wants to know. Not that you're easy to read, you're just easy to read for her specifically.
She will scold anyone who dares to try and scare you. In general she's pretty protective of you. Maybe cause you're so darn cute.
When you offer help she gladly accepts it as always, but when she sees that something's wrong she will just toss the task aside and spend some time with you.
Not gonna lie when you push her away from you she's a bit mad. But in the end she knew why was that.
So she wouldn't leave you to yourself no matter how many times you tell her to leave you alone.
Your second match is...
Ferdinand von Aegir
He's super supportive of your artistic hobbies. He'd often invite you to a dance after he heard that you like it.
Sometimes he might get confused by how much emotions you express but he always makes sure to act accordingly.
But when you push him away he will wonder what did he do to upset you. He'd be really mad at himself for not knowing but in the end he's ready to face consequences of his actions and apologize properly for everything bad he did.
He is aware of how easy it is to scare you, so don't worry he'll be your knight in shining armor protecting you!
Seeing you smile and laugh makes him incredibly happy and he made it his mission to entertain you. Ferdinand is willing to make a complete fool out of himself just to hear you laugh.

I’ve been stressing a lot the past couple weeks and I started thinking up this little fluff/comfort fic? Drabble? Imagine? Whatever you wanna call it, I decided fuck it, I’ma post it. It makes me feel better, so maybe it’ll make somebody else feel better too. It might be too specific to relate to, and it’s way more personal than I meant it to be, but here’s the first part anyway.
[Not sure what warnings to advise of? There’s gonna be angst, mentions of depression and the like, so please proceed with caution]
@imtherain
---------------------
Beetlejuice x Reader - Lonely Like Me
Beetlejuice was invisible for a long, long time before Lydia came along. He hated it, but he got used to it because he had no choice. Now he’s got his own weird little family thing going on and he’s the most content he’s ever been. But then he discovers that someone else can see him, too, and he just has to check it out.
Part 1
Delia and Lydia were going grocery shopping. Lydia persuaded Delia to let Beetlejuice tag along so he could pick out his own snacks because his list was always long and bizarre and it would be easier if he was just there, albeit invisible to everyone but the two of them.
Once there they split up, Delia taking a cart to get stuff for the whole family while Lydia and Beetlejuice took a basket to fill with junk. Beej likes watching the hustle and bustle inside the stores up close, breathers are just so wrapped up in their own thing that it can be fun to observe them and guess what they've got going on in their short little lives. It's even more fun with Lydia there to speculate with.
As they're cutting down the cereal aisle a woman pushing a cart almost collides with Beetlejuice. Or rather she would have almost collided with him if he weren't currently incorporeal. But she pulls up short with a gasp and apologizes. "I'm so sorry, sir! Please excuse me." She smiles and walks off with her cart, leaving Beetlejuice standing there slackjawed and bug-eyed, looking back and forth between Lydia's also stunned face and the spot where the woman had been standing when she spoke to him. Somebody else saw him?! WHAT??!!
In a hot second he's taking off after her, trying to flag her down, to see if she can still see him. But even when he stands directly in front of her cart she mows right through him none the wiser.
Which is so weird, right? She definitely saw him, she spoke to him for crap's sake! Unless she somehow mistook tiny petite goth teen Lydia for a "sir", which seems unlikely.
"Lyds, I gotta check this out." "Fine, just behave yourself." "You know I can't make that promise."
Beetlejuice finds mystery lady and follows her out of the store, incessant in his attempts to get her attention. Once or twice she seems to notice something, but she brushes it off in that infuriating way breathers do. This is bullshit, he thinks, she definitely noticed him. So somehow or another he's gonna make her notice him again.
He trails after her for a solid week, determined to find out what's so special about her that she was able to see him for a split second and hasn't seen him since. As far as he can tell from seven days' worth of recon, she's every bit as normal and boring as most other breathers. She lives alone, gets up and goes to her dull desk job every morning, comes right home most evenings, rinse and repeat.
She's got a cat. Like all animals, her cat can see him even though she can't. Beej likes her cat and her cat seems ambivalent about him. At the very least it doesn't bow up or hiss at him.
There are several instances where he allllllmost gets her to see him, he's sure of it. The way she goes still sometimes when she's sitting on her couch at night, muting the tv, sitting bolt upright, looking and listening intently. The bemused look on her face when she picks up something he knocked over and slowly puts it back in its place, her brow furrowing in suspicion.
Despite the close calls, that miniscule contact in the store remains their longest period of interaction. Beetlejuice is ready to give up. Whatever happened must've been a fluke. He can't believe he's stuck around this long, this chick is even lamer than the lovey-dovey newlydeads back home. But there's just something about her that he can't pin down, something so familiar that irks him when he can't put a name to it.
He makes reports to Lydia, bouncing ideas and theories off her. "I don't get it, Lyds. She never goes anywhere, and when she does it's just her. The only people she talks to are the old ladies at her stinkin office and makin small talk with people in the check out line. Doesn't she have any friends? A boyfriend? A girlfriend? Not even a fuck buddy! What is her deal?!" Lydia's barely listening, tbh, more focused on her school project, but she's mostly there for emotional support anyway. "Dunno what to tell ya, Beej. Maybe you should call it quits. I've got a long weekend coming up, we can sneak around town and rearrange the letters on the church signs into cryptic messages."
Beetlejuice pouts, not willing to admit defeat even though he himself has already entertained the notion of giving the girl up as a bad job. "No way. She definitely saw me that day in the store. Something's weird about this doll and I'm gonna figure out what!"

Best Movies Coming to Netflix in August 2021
https://ift.tt/3yg0gQx
As quickly as the summer movie season of 2021 seemed to come upon us, it’s already about to begin its long, languid slide through the dog days of August into fall. That’s not to say that theaters won’t still have plenty of interesting fare to encounter, with films like The Suicide Squad, Free Guy, Respect, Candyman and The Night House all on deck. Hopefully the other hideous sequel happening at the moment — Pandemic 2: The Delta Variant — won’t set any of these potential hits back.
In the spirit of keeping August entertaining, Netflix is rolling out a slew of new streaming additions as well, including an underrated Spielberg gem, fantastic teen comedies both old and new, a couple of stoner classics and perhaps the finest film from the canon of one of the modern era’s most revered directors. We’ve rounded up our recommendations below, and hope you stay cool and healthy whatever you’re watching!
Universal
cnx.cmd.push(function() { cnx({ playerId: "106e33c0-3911-473c-b599-b1426db57530", }).render("0270c398a82f44f49c23c16122516796"); });
Beethoven (1992)
August 1
Hollywood in the 1990s was a glorious and furry era when studio executives never met a family movie that couldn’t be improved with the addition of at least one animal character. Beethoven is one of the most successful examples of this winning formula. Directed by Brian Levant from a script co-written by John Hughes himself (alongside Mystic Pizza co-writer Amy Holden Jones), Beethoven is basically the story of how a husband and father, Charles Grodin’s George Newton, feels threatened by the attention his family gives their new dog, a St. Bernard named Beethoven.
George eventually works through some of his issues and accepts the charming Beethoven into the family, a process that comes to a head when Beethoven is dog-napped into an animal experiment scheme run by evil veterinarian Dr. Herman Varnick. (Honestly, the plot isn’t dissimilar to the story in cinematic masterpiece Paddington.) The deep supporting cast includes Bonnie Hunt, David Duchovny, Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Oliver Platt, Stanley Tucci, and Everybody Loves Raymond‘s Patricia Heaton. The film’s sequel, Beethoven Second, will also be available on Netflix starting on August 1st.
Dreamworks
Catch Me If You Can (2002)
August 1
As one of Steven Spielberg’s most charming and laid-back efforts, Catch Me If You Can is a breezy and star-studded entertainment. The story is loosely based on the real grifts of conman Frank Abagnale Jr., who beginning as a teenager was able to pass himself off as a pilot, lawyer, doctor, and many other things. But really, this is a cat-and-mouse chase movie between a still baby-faced Leonardo DiCaprio as Abagnale and Tom Hanks as the FBI stiff who hunted him down. It’s all good stuff, with the movie enjoying a light touch and fresh take on Spielberg’s favorite subject matter: fathers and sons.
Warner Bros. Pictures
Deep Blue Sea (1999)
August 1
A shockingly entertaining B-movie about a bunch of genetically engineered super-sharks which break out and take over a testing facility, this is horror silliness at its best with great turns from Samuel L Jackson, Thomas Jane, Saffron Burrows and LL Cool J. Partially shot on sets built around the same water tanks used for Titanic, with animatronic and CGI sharks, Deep Blue Sea is action-packed, schlocky fun from director Renny Harlin (Cliffhanger).
STX Entertainment
The Edge of Seventeen (2016)
August 1
A bit like Lady Bird before there was a Lady Bird, Kelly Fremon Craig’s Edge of Seventeen is an underrated gem that stars a teenage Hailee Steinfeld as a young woman stumbling through an especially awkward time in her life. Steinfeld is terrific in her best performance since True Grit, playing Nadine as a bundle of insecurities, yet still nobody’s victim. Also of special value is Craig’s hilarious and authentic script, which captures the specificity of growing up in the social media age while being near-universal in its accessibility and empathy for a wide ensemble which also includes Kyra Sedgwick, Haley Lu Richardson, and Woody Harrelson.
Paramount
Ferris Bueller’s Day Off (1986)
August 1
Just in time for the dog days of summer comes one of the best summer movies ever. Relying on charm and sharp characterization instead of special effects for its spectacle, John Hughes’ Ferris Bueller’s Day Off is a truly great teen comedy that follows the easygoing bon vivant (or secret sociopath?) of a high school’s senior class when he decides to take the day off in the best fashion: by faking he’s sick and then guilting his BFF into giving him the keys to his dad’s Ferrari.

Never Have I Ever Season 2 Review: This Netflix Teen Comedy Deserves to Run and Run
By Louisa Mellor
It’s silly yet curiously honest stuff about the pressures of young adult life, at least in 1980s suburban America, and a beguiling showcase for an ensemble that includes Matthew Broderick in his coolest role, as well as Alan Ruck, Mia Sara, Jennifer Grey, and a seriously stoned Charlie Sheen. If you haven’t seen it yet, you’re due.
Warner Bros. Pictures
Inception (2010)
August 1 Still Christopher Nolan’s most complete and satisfying film to date (yes, even more so than The Dark Knight), Inception is a cerebral sci-fi set of stacking dolls combined with a rollicking James Bond adventure that all happens to be mostly situated inside one guy’s head. Leonardo DiCaprio leads a team of professional thieves who steal things from people’s minds — only this time they’re hired to implant an idea, even if they have to dive deep into the mark’s subconscious to do it.
Mind-bending imagery and several jaw-dropping action sequences are wrapped around a surprisingly emotional core, with only the usual unwieldy exposition there to remind you that there are some things Nolan may never get right.
Lionsgate
The Lincoln Lawyer (2011)
August 1 Based on a novel by crime writer Michael Connelly, this gripping, suspenseful 2011 drama arguably kicked off “the McConaissance,” a shift from rom-coms to more serious roles by Matthew McConaughey that launched a new, largely acclaimed phase of his career.
McConaughey is formidable as attorney Mickey Haller, a slick lawyer who works out of his Lincoln Town Car and undergoes a crisis of conscience as his new case starts to feel disturbingly like an old one. In addition to McConaughey stepping up his game, this Brad Furman-directed thriller is the kind of character-driven, literate melodrama we don’t see much on the big screen anymore — although we see plenty of them these days on, of course, Netflix.
Paramount Classics
The Machinist (2004)
August 1 Director Brad Anderson followed up his cult classic 2001 horror effort Session 9 with this surreal, Kafka-esque psychological thriller. Christian Bale plays Trevor Reznik, whose inability to sleep leads him to cause an accident at his industrial job that costs a co-worker (Michael Ironside) his arm. Already physically and mentally deteriorating, Reznik begins an even deeper descent as he tries to unravel what’s happening to him and why. Bale is intense and viscerally shocking as the emaciated Reznik, with his riveting performance anchoring an atmospheric, visually striking film that is sometimes an exercise in style over substance.
New Line Cinema
Magnolia (1999)
August 1
Boogie Nights pushed director Paul Thomas Anderson into the spotlight, but it was his massive, sprawling jigsaw puzzle Magnolia that made him into a superstar filmmaker. Following multiple narratives and numerous characters all finally brought together by a climactic storm of frogs, this is high art packed with standout moments.

Top Gun: Maverick Footage Shows Tom Cruise in Real Jet Behind the Scenes

Best Modern Horror Movies
By Don Kaye
Tom Cruise is electric as a toxic motivation speaker, Julianne Moore is brittle and tragic as a trophy wife who has grown to love her dying husband, while the burgeoning relationship between Melora Walters’ addict and John C. Reilly’s cop added sweetness and hope to a tale of messed up people and damaged families. Epic.
Sony PIctures
Pineapple Express (2008)
August 1 After its trailer introduced everyone to M.I.A.’s amazing “Paper Planes,” Pineapple Express’s work was already done. It didn’t even have to produce a satisfyingly funny movie on top of that. Thankfully the filmmaking team of Seth Rogen, Evan Goldberg, and David Gordon Green decided to give us one anyway, because Pineapple Express is the ideal of the little-seen-or-attempted stoner action comedy.
Rogen stars as process server and marijuana enthusiast Dale Denton, while James Franco portrays his annoying drug dealer Saul Silver. When the pair witness a murder, they are forced to flee hitmen, a pair of corrupt cops, and worst of all, Danny McBride. The Rogen/Goldberg comedy catalog has very few misses and this one is particularly excellent.
Universal Pictures
Seabiscuit (2003)
August 1
No one would ever accuse Gary Ross’ Seabiscuit of being subtle. With its voice-of-god narration by Ken Burns fave David McCoullough, which helpfully spells out the themes of the movie every few scenes, and its achingly sentimental score and dialogue, Seabiscuit is a Cinderella story which all but asserts its titular race horse ended the Great Depression. Yet Ross captures some of the simple American grandeur of Laura Hillenbrand’s non-fiction source material book, as well as the beauty of this true story where a horse that everyone counted out as worthless was nursed by three men into becoming one of the greatest racing animals of all-time.
It’s the type of feel-good yarn that won people over in the 1930s and which is still winning now. When coupled with a handful of strong performances, including from Jeff Bridges, Chris Cooper, Tobey Maguire, and a seriously underrated Elizabeth Banks, you have a crowd-pleaser that actually pleases.
Paramount Pictures
Team America: World Police (2004)
August 1 Roger Ebert’s one-star review of Trey Parker and Matt Stone’s Team America: World Police sums up the film’s nonsensical political stance nicely. “I wasn’t offended by the movie’s content so much as by its nihilism,” the great film critic wrote.
Rog was right to criticize Team America’s incomprehensible worldview. Nearly 20 years later, its seeming position that Alec Baldwin and Kim Jong-Il are equally bad hasn’t aged that well (despite Mr. Baldwin’s best efforts). But it’s hard to argue that the South Park creators’ nihilism doesn’t lead to some great comedy. The novelty of Thunderbirds-style puppets saving the world amid graphic sex acts and voluminous barfing never quite wears off.

Breakthrough Japanese study shows that cats can understand human emotions, even words
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Today, I’d like to talk to you about something VERY special.
A new form of cat-to-human communication that many cat owners have dreamed about… but few have actually thought possible.
That is, until they learn about the latest science in animal communication,
shocking new information
which I will reveal to you in just a moment.
…on building a deeper, stronger bond with your loving feline friend.
And to be fair, one party already DOES understand the other quite well
Tumblr media
Researchers in Tokyo, Japan found out this lesson through a careful scientific analysis.
“The Japanese researchers found that cats understand humans, not just by voice tone but also by identifying certain words including their names, the owner’s name, various commands you’ve used, and many other stunning eavesdropping techniques that you had no idea about…”
They even understand our body language and vocal inflections.
As the parent, owner, whatever you wish to call yourself, your furry friend looks up to you, and has evolved to learn to communicate with those who stand above them and provide care.
Here’s the thing though… you probably have none of this skill. Not until you’ve finished this presentation, anyways.
But that’s okay.
Cats may have been domesticated to deal with us. But we need to use our own brains to return the communication back.
The Tokyo Research results on cat language understanding sent a shockwave across the animal communication field. As a fellow trainer in this area, I can tell you that this was basically our version of the 16th-century Renaissance, happening right before our eyes.
Tumblr media
Incredibly, they showed it right back. They understood our love.
We continued this process for other emotions, both positive and negative. We were slowly but steadily building a mutual shared language between cat and human beings with every new discovery we made.
Now the process wasn’t perfect, as cats are indeed limited by various vocal and mental features that humans typically have a wider range in.
For example, cats use about 20 voice sounds to communicate to us humans. This is a fairly small number compared to the hundreds or even thousands of unique vocal sounds that humans can produce. This restrained us in some ways and forced us to use body movements to get the point across.
Tumblr media
And boy are they subtle at times. If you shift an octave up or down, you may accidentally tell your feline friend you’re ready to do battle with her!
You can imagine how exhaustive the language deciphering process was. We are now 3 and a half years into this careful cat-to-human language process. Have we succeeded in building a mutual verbal understanding between parent and child, human and cat?
I’m happy to tell you today that the answer is YES.
I’ve titled our work as The Cat Language Bible™. It truly is the go-to-guide for bonding with your cat through language communication.
Tumblr media
Just think about what this means for cat owners everywhere…
Have you ever sat on the sofa with your cat on your lap, just wishing you could actually tell her the level of affection you felt at that moment… using your own words?
Have you ever wished to have true, detailed conversations like a parent would have with his or her own child?
Have you ever desired to instruct or even discipline your cat without using a harsh voice, so that you could change behaviors without projecting negative emotions?
Tumblr media
I’m very happy to say that you now have these powers. Because through our exhaustive cat language interpretation work, The Cat Language Bible™ can give you new, never before seen insights into your cat’s verbal communication abilities.
“Thanks to this book I now know when my cat wants to play and when she wants to be left alone (there are some huge surprises in cat language!), when she is feeling happy and when she is feeling down, when she is meowing for affection and when she is meowing cause she is in pain…not just that but now I know how I can effectively communicate with her. I feel much closer to her now and it takes your relationship to your cat to a whole new level!”
Tumblr media
Mariah Walden & Minne, USA
“Before reading this book I had never realized how often my cat would gesture “I love you” at me! Now, not only do I understand when my cat is showing me affection, but I can also ‘say’ it back to him in a manner he understands. You can’t put a price to that!”
Deborah Smith, UK
I’m a middle aged guy who had gotten annoyed at trying to guess what my daughter’s cat was whining about, hence the reason I got this book. As strange as it sounds, we can now communicate and ever since tending to his communicated needs, he is no longer whining and we’ve become great buddies. I love the furry dude!”
John Higgins, UK
This is the guide that takes you from friendly two word phrases that mean very little to your cat… to actual conversations of the type you would have with a small child.
Cats are amazingly intelligent creatures, in fact in some ways their brain even compares to a human adolescent.
Tumblr media
You may have noticed how your cat even acts like a teenager sometimes! Other animals, like dogs, switch between simple feelings of joy and fear. But cats, having more developed brains can also feel lazy, remorseful, giddy, and a wide range of other emotions of significant complexity.
This is why it truly is my passion to help cat owners like yourself to take the next step and communicate with your animal at a higher level.
Because I’d hate for you to live another day being nothing but casual roommates, who give each other a wink and a nod… but don’t communicate any further.
Tumblr media
Your cat’s meows and purrs are a sign of longing to say something more to you; as natural predators,
cats only make sounds like this when they REALLY want to get something across.
So every time you hear a sound like that, you can be sure he’s trying his best to send you a message.
Will you receive it though?
Does he desperately need kitty litter? Does he want to remind you of your favorite show that the 2 of you watch together?
Is there a rival cat or dog lurking nearby?
Are you forgetting to take him out for a walk?
Or even to go on an appointment that you usually go to at this time?
Yes, your cat knows these things.
We were quite surprised ourselves during the hundreds of experiments we ran with our volunteer parents and felines of just how detailed where the notes that cats took on our lives.
You wouldn’t believe some of the conversations and even exchanges of humor between cat and owner that we witnessed. Who knew cats could make us laugh?
When you order The Cat Language Bible™ ebook, you’ll finally be able to directly translate various verbal and nonverbal cues as well. The guide goes over very specific thoughts, phrases, and feelings that your cat also communicates via body language.
We’re also going to show you how to respond back in a more effective way than the basic words or commands you may be accustomed to right now.
Vocal inflection, which is likely your main method of communication, is a great place to start getting the point across. But using specific word patterns further elevates the conversation. That’s why we use words, after all!
And since you are now finally in open communication with your feline friend, you’re going to learn some new things about your cat that you never knew about in the past.
A lot of this may actually test your current thoughts about what your cat likes and doesn’t like about her home, her hobbies, and perhaps even you, the master!
In our bonus guides, we also share some interesting, never before published information on specific nutritional secrets, care tips, and other items that we’ve personally found many cats greatly enjoy – that their human owners often neglect due to a lack of knowledge of their cat’s true desires.
Now you’ll not only be able to communicate with the little 4 legged one better, but also care for him even more.
I want to be clear that The Cat Language Bible™ is a cat language course that anyone can get to intuitively understand.
In fact, this isn’t something you have to study at all, because you’ll be able to look right at the guide and make interpretations on-the-fly.
Tumblr media
Not everything they say is good, and in fact if you have multiple pets in the household, you may hear some interesting remarks about what your feline thinks about them!
But as I like to say, knowledge is power. I’d rather listen in on my cat’s personal thoughts so I can know him even better than I already do.
The Cat Language Bible™ comes with three free bonus guides to help you maximize your new cat language abilities.
Tumblr media
BONUS 1: THE CAT CARE GUIDE
The Cat Care Guide teaches you how to show love and compassion to your feline family member in a way that few others are able to match. You’ll learn how to accept your cat’s feedback and give him the proper attention, entertainment, support, feeding, and anything else based on what he is actually telling you.
Tumblr media
BONUS 2: TRAINING YOUR CAT
Our second bonus guide, Training Your Cat, is all about raising a well disciplined and highly respective cat. It’s no secret that training cats can often be more difficult than training dogs. But again that’s because they have more evolved brains. And just like human beings will sometimes want to dictate their own paths at the wrong times, cats also need a little extra guidance in the form of strong training practices.
This is a guide to teach you how to build obedience the correct way, using love, instruction, and language feedback all together.
Tumblr media
BONUS 3: A-TO-Z FELINE NUTRITION
Our final bonus guide is A-to-Z Feline Nutrition, and I’d like to think of this one as the fuel that powers our animal’s brains and bodies.
Follow this guide and you’ll literally allow your cat to live a life of strength, vitality, and creativity… or otherwise deal with chronic lethargy, fatigue, and an unfortunate untimely end.
Nutrition is absolutely critical for providing our animals their very best life, and that’s why this guide is so essential.
Tumblr media

Cat lovers all across the country have ordered The Cat Language Bible™. Here’s what they’ve had to say about it:
“I found the information in this book absolutely fascinating! It gives a thorough explanation with pictures on how cats use their eyes, ears, whiskers, mouths, meows and tails to talk to us and communicate to us not just their needs but also their emotions. It also gives very good information on proper cat care and invaluable tips on dealing with issues such as spraying and excessive night meowing. I love that I can now finally express to Jinny how much I love her!”
Tumblr media
Henriette Marandi, France
“How would you like to have a tool that could translate what your cat is communicating into plain English? This book is that tool that you were looking for – fully illustrated with cute cat pictures so you become an expert at cat speak!”
Jody Small, USA
“This manual is a must read for every cat lover. I’ve been through several cat behavior books but none come close to this one in breaking down cat language to a level that is so easily grasped. The pictures are extremely helpful in conveying the message across and after going through this manual I immediately understood my cat better and now I’m a much better care giver and I have since noticed that my cat is being even more affectionate towards me. A great gift to any cat owner!”
Tumblr media
Duncan Brown, USA
“Warning: a lot of the things you think you know when it comes to cat behavior are WRONG and this book will shock you! I always thought that it was fairly evident when a cat is happy, angry, playful, loving etc…but this book showed me that I was hugely misunderstanding my cat. I now realize that I always mistook her apparent annoyance with actual affection, her apparent grumpiness with loneliness, and I could never tell when she wanted company and when she just wanted to be left alone. Now I do and I have noticed that she is much more receptive to me and actually for the first time ever she has started sleeping next to me rather than running around meowing. It is an incredible feeling to be able to communicate with her – we now ‘say’ I love you to each other every morning!”
Therese Linn (& furry Wendy), USA
There is no risk in this life-changing guide. If you don’t learn to “speak cat,” you won’t pay anything.
If those stunning success stories weren’t enough, I wanted you to know that you’re completely protected by our ironclad, paypal-verified 100% money-back guarantee for a full 60 days after your purchase. That’s two whole months.
It works like this – if for any reason you weren’t able to communicate with your cat to the high level you expected, or maybe just didn’t have the time or motivation for it, feel free to send us an email to receive your money back in full. Without another word, we’ll promptly send the money straight back to your account.
Tumblr media
Now’s the time to change your cat family’s life and open the door to truly understanding one another.
There’s so many more interesting conversations you can have with an animal that just aren’t available even with fellow human beings. I’ve seen it time after time, and the testimonials you’ve seen, as well as my own research, have made The Cat Language Bible™ the path to understanding your cat at a deep, personal level like never before.
It’s a bond forged from meow to hello, from cat eyes to your irises. The unmatched power of communication through speech.
This is Jonas Jurgella a.k.a. the CatMan, and I look forward to helping you discover the gift of cat language today.
“This is a huge eye opener for people who have cats and for all animal lovers in general. It is a very easy read supported with lots of photographs that clearly illustrated a cat’s language, whether it is communicated vocally or through its body language including eyes, ears positioning, whether the whiskers are forward, downwards, backwards, etc… It is an incredible wealth of knowledge on both understanding cats and communicating with them, so you can be a better cat giver and be able to adequately show your feline family member how much he/she actually means to you!”
Ute Fischer, Germany
“Being a ‘cat parent’ for most of my adult life, I was surprised at how much I actually did NOT understand when it comes to cat behavior and now after reading this guide, through understanding correctly my cats’ needs, they have practically stopped all ‘bad’ behavior and I have definitely noticed them being much more affectionate and loving towards me. It’s an incredible feeling being finally able to break down the language barrier between us and our most loved companions. This should be required reading for every cat parent out there!”
Anabel Daley, Australia
“I’ve got three cats – Bobby (in picture), Tiger and Max – and they have very different personalities. The Cat Language Bible has enabled me to see them in a totally different light – I now understand exactly how each one of them is feeling and what they’ve always been trying to tell me. I’ve found the part on feline-to-feline communication particularly fascinating as now I can finally understand their dynamic and I can adequately comfort Bobby when Max has been mean to him (Max never does this in front of me but now I know!). Great work Jonas, keep it up and keep us updated!”

Bojack Horseman (Season 4) - A Review
Tumblr media
Back in the ‘90s, in a world populated by both humans and anthropomorphic animals, BoJack Horseman was in a very famous TV show. It was a silly, vacuous, ‘Full House’ type of show named ‘Horsin’ Around’, and it was about a horse adopting three human orphans and getting into various wacky shenanigans for half an hour each week, complete with terrible catch-phrases. After nine seasons, the show was cancelled, and since then, BoJack has lived in soul-crushing limbo.
BoJack is famous and wealthy enough to have anything he could want, and somehow, he even manages to get away with being shitty to strangers and friends without losing their misplaced support. Adoring fans and the general public are happy to be around him, but they don’t want to get close enough to know him, and his friends consistently find just enough reason to never quite sever their connection to BoJack. They allow themselves to be pulled into his orbit and find it difficult to leave, often because they’re dealing with their own personal issues.
While you can’t help but cathartically enjoy spending time with BoJack for his cynical jokes and his egotistic indulgences, you slowly realise that he is a sad, lost person. He hasn’t done anything important or fulfilling for the best part of two decades, and there was little substance to the thing that made him famous in the first place. He has made mistakes and hurt people, but what’s worse is that, despite his efforts to be better, he keeps finding new ways to damage himself and those around him. Born from a home that showed him no love but saddled him with huge expectations, BoJack went into the world, got famous, and it still isn’t enough. He’s desperate for some answer that will fix his sadness, but the more he tries and fails, the more he fears that he is broken beyond repair; that he’s always been broken, and the only thing he can ever do in life is repeat the same cycle of ruining everything of value he touches, and getting nothing in return to sooth his endless dissatisfaction. BoJack is a reverse Midas, doomed to never hold onto golden things.
Did I mention this is an animated comedy?
Well, a year ago I watched all three seasons of ‘BoJack Horseman’, this show from Netflix that really deserves your attention. It’s witty and very amusing at times, but it stuck with me less for its comedy, and more for its powerful drama (though its sense of humour strikes a chord with my own more and more as the seasons progress). Its moments of humanity and sincerity resonated with me because it looked at characters who felt real, whose issues, personalities, and traumas felt developed enough for the inhabitants of this ludicrous world of animal people to feel tangible. There were no predictable arcs, no clean progression for the characters to undertake and come out as fully-adjusted people with all their problems neatly resolved as a result. With some shows, you’re watching to see how things end, and discover how the fictional characters have lived once their story is finished. ‘BoJack Horseman’ is not about endings, but the state of ongoing. Its characters aren’t heading to some obvious end-point, they’re just endeavouring to sustain themselves and find meaning in a world that often robs us of control. It’s not a neat story where the main characters find an answer to their worries and then get to live their lives free from trouble. It’s a series of attempts to figure out life made by people hoping to find some philosophical solution to the daily problems they face, and then those convictions are tested on a day-to-day basis until something bad happens to make them break under pressure. Because in life, nothing really concludes. There’s always tomorrow, and there’s no way to know for sure if you’ll be okay with whatever it has in store.
And yet as scary, as impossibly daunting as that is, we never stop hoping. BoJack often talks as if he’s given up on ever improving, surrendering himself to the notion that he is a lost cause. But every now and then, he manages to find a glimmer of hope to cling onto, whether it’s through the little moments of goodness he sometimes finds within himself, or by interpreting external signs in the world around him as proof that he should keep trying to move forward. Life is impossibly hard, but we somehow find the strength within ourselves to keep facing it. That’s what ‘BoJack Horseman’ is about, and that’s why it’s one of my favourite shows.
That is my review for this show overall. I think, or at least hope, it works as a spoiler-free introduction for the uninitiated, as well as a reflection on the show’s successes for people who are already familiar with it.
But I do want to review the specific themes of Season 4, which recently released in its entirety and is what prompted me to write this. I’ll still keep this spoiler-free, but this is just a way of processing the ideas this season prompted in me, and my way of articulating why this might just be ‘BoJack Horseman’s best season yet.
Season 4
Tumblr media
A lot happened this season, so I’m going to try and get a handle on it by looking at what each of the five main characters went through during Season 4.
Todd, the undeterrable force of optimistic positivity who crashed on BoJack’s couch one night and never left, continues to be an uplifting presence in the show that saves it from becoming too bleak. His development doesn’t occur in an arc that you notice gradually unfolding each episode, so you may think he comes off a bit short at first. However, episode 3, joyously titled ‘Hooray! Todd Episode!’, works so well as a self-contained thorough examination of his role, both in the show and in the lives of those around him, that you don’t feel lacking in rich Todd content. Considering how heart-wrenching the rest of the show can be, it’s immensely rewarding to see Todd tend to himself and his own identity, quite possibly gaining the most healthy and content mindset in the entire series.
I’m glad I recently rewatched the entire series before Season 4 came out, because I had completely forgotten where the last episode of Season 3 had left Diane and Mr. Peanutbutter. If the previous season wasn’t fresh in my mind, I would’ve been blindsided by the swiftness with which we move into Mr. Peanutbutter running for governor. In the past, Diane has gone from potentially being the most mature and level-headed character in the show, to being almost as unsure about her life and as disillusioned with her career as BoJack. Meanwhile, her husband Mr. Peanutbutter, a yellow Labrador Retriever whose naivety and relentless happiness would be grating if his chipper charisma wasn’t so infectious, has stayed more or less the same. He occasionally shows his emotional insight and how he is less oblivious than you might think, but he’s still the same chipper dog we knew back in Season 1. Their relationship is fascinating to watch, as you initially think they’re completely wrong for each other, until you start to notice the good things they do for one another, and you start to root for them. But as Diane starts doubting herself more and her patience with Mr. Peanutbutter stretches thinner and thinner, you start to worry. Seeing what has been building up for three seasons come to a head in Season 4 is explosive, but not so dramatic all at once to make it apparent which way their relationship is heading. This fictional marriage is believable, organic, and a brilliant illustration of how people are often drawn to relationships that make them feel like they can be a better person, even if they fear that this is not who they really are.
Princess Carolyn is one of my favourite characters throughout the show (though if you ask me on another day I could say the same for any of the five main cast members). When we first met her, this pink cat was introduced as a side character in BoJack’s life; she was his ex-girlfriend and the agent that bailed him out of the troubles he got himself into. However, since ‘Say Anything’, the seventh episode of Season 1, ‘BoJack Horseman’ has fleshed out Princess Carolyn’s character. She’s torn between her romantic side and the pride she takes in her work, as it allows her to help people, and she believes she’s good at it. Her life is a tug and pull between two things she dearly wants, but she can never quite keep hold of either of them. The impact of one episode focusing on her in Season 4 was admittedly lessened for me because (without getting into spoilers) I wasn’t buying it and the episode reminded me of one ‘How I Met Your Mother’ episode which it ended up following a similar path to, so I saw the ending coming. However, the progression of her character was still terrific to watch. Princess Carolyn is the master of keeping up a juggling act even when things aren’t looking too good, but in Season 4, we finally saw her stumble as she lost some faith in herself.
Finally, BoJack’s storyline, as always, left me feeling raw in the most bittersweet and satisfying way. The sixth episode, ‘Stupid Piece of Sh*t’, gives us a telling glance at the inner workings of BoJack’s mind. It provides a poignant look at how crippling anxieties and self-doubt manifest themselves on a day-to-day basis and why they can feel so inescapable at times, while also somehow managing to be hilarious through narration that can hit close to home as we find it mirroring our own thoughts. Hollyhock is a welcome new presence in the show. She represents a more innocent, younger version of BoJack that has come into his life at a key moment when he has the potential to change and become a better person. The moments when she challenges his cynicism create an entertaining and often hilarious dynamic, and BoJack’s trepidation around her is understandable and heartbreaking.
My favourite element of Season 4, however, was the storyline with Beatrice, and the devastating way this culminates. The only major criticism I had rewatching the first three seasons was how the cruel behaviour of BoJack’s parents, and how they are responsible for many of BoJack’s deep-rooted issues, seemed to be exaggerated to almost cartoonish effect. These scenes would be darkly humorous, but given how seriously the show took its deconstruction of BoJack and the rest of his life, it seemed mismatched whenever it would have a joke where Butterscotch or Beatrice would be excessively cruel to a young BoJack. In the absence of any explanation as to why they were so harsh towards BoJack, the only way we could take their mean nature was as a dark joke about the cruel unfairness of life. Season 4 retroactively fixes this issue for me, because it provides context by characterising Beatrice. We, as omniscient observers, are informed of the past, and are allowed to see how BoJack has inherited the wounds of the past and is haunted by family ghosts. But despite our omniscience, we are powerless to help BoJack, who may not fully comprehend what he has inherited, and can only ask why he suffers as he feels its effects. ‘BoJack Horseman’ has gained a reputation for having each season’s penultimate episode be a gut-wrenching climax to the dramatic thread of each season, and Season 4’s is no different. I will say nothing more about it, because it’s the kind of television that is so excellently crafted and so not worth spoiling that it feels clumsy to even attempt to describe it through words.
Season 4, like each of ‘Bojack Horseman’s seasons before it, has more going on than I can adequately address in one review. It continues to deepen its lead characters to the point where they have gone far beyond being fictional and start feeling like real people living tangible lives that we are checking in on. The humour and the drama has never been balanced better, and I would argue that each half is at the top of their game. As I reached the final shot of the season and heard the closing music, feeling full of more hope and happiness for BoJack than I had ever felt before, as fleeting as it may be, I knew that this really was one of my favourite shows.
10/10.
Sad, silly, beautiful, and sobering, ‘BoJack Horseman’ is brilliant television with exceptional character writing. It is worth your time.

Aaa u guys r so cool!! Can I ask for the boys with an S/O who gets obsessed with things but it's shortlived? Such as liking one thing for a week, collecting a bunch of stuff to do with it then moving onto a new obsession? Ty!
I actually kinda do this myself… it was more when I was younger but I can’t help myself.
Korekiyo Shinguuji
Of course, he supports you.
Some of your obsessions are strange and require a lot of many, sure, but it’s still a fun way to live life.
He just hopes that nothing extremely expensive will come up.
He can still never get over the look on your face when you’re outbid on an online auction.
You just look so depressed.
“S/O, there are probably others available-”
Nope, you’re not having that.
You wanted THAT one.
After some affection and possibly a new gift from your boyfriend, you seem to be all healed.
It’s just an endless cycle.
He suggests maybe you get a part-time job in order to be able to pay for your obsessions.
But you could miss an auction??
No WAY is that happening.
So that option’s gone.
He keeps trying to tame your obsessions to a reasonably cheap degree.
It doesn’t always work, though.
Rantarou Amami
At first, he just thought it was cute.
At one point, it was pusheen merchandise you were hoarding.
Just pusheen in general.
He thought it was cute, all the tiny cat plushies and posters strewn around your room!
Then, one day they were gone.
It was all replaced with anime merchandise.
“Aww, where’d the cute cats go?”
You tell him you got bored of that and they’re all packed away in the closet.
Well, okay, he’s willing to embrace this too.
He liked the cats better.
He likes to occasionally surprise you with a gift coming from your newest obsession but…
More often than not you already have it.
How do you still have space in your room, though?
And, if you find your pusheen merchandise… missing, let’s just say, it definitely wasn’t him.
Kokichi Ouma
He tries to get into your obsessions as much as possible.
Since he’s into some underground things himself, he knows the struggles of not being able to fangirl/boy with anyone.
Except, he finds it hard to catch up with your obsessions.
And once, it got to him but he didn’t let you find out.
He had started crying because he was overwhelmed but he had made out that he stubbed his toe.
He likes to sit down and watch your TV Series with you since you really like them!
He tries to act very headstrongly, saying things like ‘I won’t cry!’ and such.
But more than often, he’s a snivelling baby when it gets emotional.
You often have to hug the hell out of him to get him to stop crying.
Except, sometimes he falls asleep during the shows.
So you quietly move him onto your lap and get distracted.
Later on, you blame him for missing out on the show just to mess with him.
He doesn’t remember any of this??
Why are you so mean to your small boyfriend-
Shuuichi Saihara
He’s so confused…
He’s super into his detective shows sometimes but… this is so strange.
You seem absorbed in these things like your life revolves around them…
Sometimes, you get into these rather… raunchy looking series.
Once, he accidentally walked in on a fanservice moment and…
Oh boy.
He literally ran out of the room and hid behind any suitable piece of furniture.
“Why a-are you watching those things?! Is it because I’m not l-like that or-”
You cut him off by saying that no, it’s the plot.
That’s what they all say…
He JUST puts up with the more adult-oriented series but he rather likes watching the fluffier ones.
Or the angsty ones.
Yeah, angsty wins.
Kaito Momota
He gets super into it!
If you love it, it must be good!
He’s just relying on you for interest ideas now.
He loves space but obsessing over space isn’t always easy and fun.
So, whenever he wants to do something simple and quick, he’s always asking you for ideas!
Once, you were obsessed with rhythm games.
It entertained him for ages and long after you stopped liking them, he kept playing them!
Once, you caught him playing them.
“That… that’s so dead! Why the hell are you playing that?”
He quickly stopped after that.
“I’m only playing it for the irony! Just to laugh at it, see! I’m not even doing good!”
He says as he beats your high score which is nearly impossible to do.
He is such a bad liar.
Kiibo
Wh-
What.
How do you… how does one simply lose interest like that?
You literally told him that you’d die for this specific video game cast recently!
And now, you never talk about it.
You show NO interest!!!
How?!
You then explain that these things are called fads.
Whatever’s cool at the time is cool to you and then when it’s not, you move on.
You can almost hear the “???” emitting from him.
He doesn’t get it.
He tries to roll with it and can’t really be bothered getting into these things with you.
Gonta Gokuhara
Similar to Kiibo, he doesn’t really get it.
It confuses him as to why you don’t like some things anymore.
Like, once you had an obsession with horse riding.
Gonta found it cute, so he rolled along with it!
At that point, he didn’t know that it was short-lived.
So he was REALLY into it.
And you can imagine how devastated he was when he found that all of that effort was for nothing.
He spends days pestering you on why you don’t like horses anymore!
You two even developed a list of breed-hybrids!
He spent so long on that and now it’s all for nothing?!
Yeah, pretty much, you tell him.
You explain that you don’t really get into things for a long period of time.
He grumbles for an hour but can’t really stay mad at you.
Ryouma Hoshi
He doesn’t really care.
He actually finds it kind of funny.
He just lets you do whatever, he finds it easier to listen than to take part.
He’ll probably get it wrong anyways.
He’ll offend you somehow by mixing up some facts about your obsessions.
Then you’ll leave him and he’ll be alone and nobody will ever care about him-
Let’s just say that it’s easier to observe.

Doja Cat’s Continued Live Success Shows That Cancel Culture Has Its Limits
Ken Franklin
Amala Zandile Dlamini has gone from cat, to cow, to duck all in the space of a month, illuminating the dangers of viral success and the limits of so-called “cancel culture” in the process.
The 22-year-old Los Angeles native had spent the last several years making a name for herself as the colorful internet rapper and singer known as Doja Cat, garnering a small, but loyal, following of fans with the quirky, internet culture-influenced tracks found on her 2014 independent EP Purrr! and on her eclectic Soundcloud page. That following was enough to land her a label deal with RCA Records which spawned her debut album Amala earlier this year. Amala came and went without much fanfare, but Doja Cat experienced an explosion in fame when her jokey video for loose track “Mooo!” went viral on social media five months later in the middle of August.
youtube
“Mooo!” was almost guaranteed to become a viral sensation from the jump, with its lo-fi aesthetic, created by Doja herself using iMovie, a green blanket, and a few hilarious props to declare, “B*tch, I’m a cow.” In the video, she twerks and primps in front a series of blog and pop culture-culled background images, including the old Windows XP default wallpaper and a bouncing pair of anime boobs, while she rhymes Mother Goose-ish flexes full of subtly clever wordplay and old school hip-hop references that belie the frivolous concept. As a loose goof, the video is a gift; as an introduction to her expansive back catalog of more polished, artistically focused material, it was a savvy bait-and-switch, disarming the dubious doubts of knee-jerk skepticism endemic to internet natives for whom detached snark is a default reaction to practically any new artist who arrives petitioning their serious consideration.
But then, just as the wave of both critical acclaim and social media approval began to crest, it all came crashing down. Doja Cat “milkshake duck-ed” — aka when a suddenly viral entity reveals itself to be racist/homophobic/otherwise problematic after content mills start doing background research on the newly famous meme subject — in world record time. Years-old tweets wherein the young(er) Doja Cat freely used homophobic terms and expressed disgust for the idea of queer sex (as many unworldly teens — especially the ones raised mostly on hip-hop — are wont to do) resurfaced, and nearly instantly, the breakout star was denounced as canceled, the dreaded state of internet-enforced exile whereby mass denizens of social apps like Twitter declare an entity persona non grata. Her feel-good story of overnight celebrity was at its end — or was it?
It certainly didn’t appear that way from my experience at the Los Angeles stop of her Amala Tour last Friday night (September 21) at the Echoplex. From the line extending down the block even further than it usually has at other hip-hop shows I’ve attended there, to the enthusiasm on display from the wide-ranging, diverse crowd of starry-eyed teens and LA hipsters, it didn’t seem like the online backlash had extended to dampen Doja’s fans’ spirits in the least. Energetic but shy preteens crowded into the all-ages venue alongside teens and young adults and even a few middle-aged concertgoers, with their cat ears and cow horns on headbands all to take in the live spectacle that is a Doja Cat show.
Even more intriguing, there were plenty of fans taking in the concert at home as well, courtesy of live streaming app .WAV, which gained a slew of new subscribers with its previous partnership with Kanye West for his Wyoming campfire Ye release party. As a sponsor for the show, the app provided yet another avenue for the digital and physical worlds to cross over, even as the concert itself highlighted the ways in which both diverge in practice.
For one thing, it quickly became obvious that nary a fan in attendance was there because of the virulent success of “Mooo!” despite the bovine accessories adorning many of their hairdos and wardrobes. Their certified appreciation was evident as they sang along word-for-word to older, more obscure material from across Doja’s discography. Over the years, I’ve observed how cell phone cameras make appearances at concerts at the start of specific, meaningful songs such as hit singles and emotional deep cuts, but this night, those phones continued to pop up at the beginnings of nearly every song Doja performed.
youtube
Tracks like “No Police” and “So High” from Purrr! were given equal import with “Cookie Jar” and “Candy” and “Go To Town” from Amala and both received similar reception to Soundcloud staples such as “Nintendhoe.” When she performed the ’90s sitcom-inspired ode to her “twins,” “Tia Tamera,” complete with the screen behind her alternating images of the titular fraternal duo and even more anime clips of the metaphorical variety, the crowd reacted like the song — which currently only exists online as a snippet captured from an Instagram live stream — was a top ten Hot 100 single.
Far from being “canceled,” Doja Cat’s star power and charisma shone from the simple stage setup of a cow print tablecloth over her DJ’s table and the aforementioned screen. By the time she did perform “Mooo!” at the end of her set — with LA underground rap vet Verbs in a literal cow mask prancing across the stage for good measure — her assembled fans were more than willing to participate in the onstage antics, as she pulled three bold souls up to dance with her as she writhed and bounced her way through the novelty track. One was male, with a full face of Youtube-tutorial quality makeup, one was a bashful ten-year-old girl who practically shrank into her shirt under the spotlight, and the last was a full-figured Black woman in her twenties who Doja complimented on her top. They couldn’t have been more different, yet here they all were, united by the love of this “problematic” artist, having the time of their lives.
In trying to learn more, I talked to a number of attendees to find out why, with the tide of public sentiment seemingly turning on her, so many of them turned out in such force to support Doja Cat in spite of the backlash. What I gleaned from those short chats is that Twitter’s reach is a lot more limited than it looks from the other side of the screen. Sharra, 28, and Lexi, 27, told me that they didn’t even have Twitter accounts — news of the outrage against Amala hadn’t even reached them. Sharra told me she first found out about Doja Cat with “So High” while Lexi said she’s followed the singer online for years through Instagram instead, joking that Twitter had “too many words. I don’t like to pay attention to what people talking about.”
The ten-year-old from the stage turned out to be Jaden, along for her second concert ever with her mom, Megan, and her sister, Layla, 11. Megan had been a longtime follower from Instagram as well and roped her girls onto the bandwagon. Her daughters told me they loved Doja Cat’s voice and her style. Jaden, despite her bout of stage fright, has her own aspirations to become a singer, a dream fully supported by her mother, who said that she uses the content in the lyrics to talk to her girls about things she knows “they’ll hear anyway” and was peripherally aware of the controversy of the old tweets.
youtube
“I feel like it’s really hard because we’re picked apart and judged for every single thing that we’ve done in the past,” Megan explained. “Now we have our past documented online, but we grow and evolve so much over the years that it’s not fair to throw something we’ve said years ago in our face today. I think that we still have to be held accountable, but a lot of us talk certain ways in private that, once it’s thrown online, can be misconstrued or blown out of proportion.” Megan’s view is one that has been reflected online as well; many outlets have covered the respective dangers of “cancel culture,” while Uproxx’s own Caitlin White is currently publishing a series of essays on Medium about the causes and effects of online trauma, such as the bullying that can occur when “woke shaming” Twitter users pile onto a celebrity or even a regular person for out-of-context or old tweets that speak more to who we were or what those users project onto those tweets.
However, while the echo chamber of online social networks can lead to a false sense of increased cultural homogeneity, where we begin to think everyone in our sphere believes all the same things as us — or should — in reality, the old axiom “different strokes for different folks” holds as true as it ever has. People still learn things at their own pace, and what seems obvious to Aaron or Megan may not seem so much so to Amala. Cancel culture is ugly, but it’s only the dark shadow of the necessary process of online accountability and the sometimes painful learning process online.
With that said, it’s intriguing to note that those “different strokes” can also include opinions that haven’t been touched by the ostensible ubiquity of social media. It would appear that much of the online hand-wringing about “canceling” entertainers for screwing up can only go so far. In the case of someone like Doja Cat, she may have learned a much-needed lesson about how her public comments can be received, but if the real goal truly is to hold everyone accountable for their words and actions, canceling them on Twitter will probably never be the most effective tool. As for Doja, let’s hope she’s learned her lesson, because whether she’s a cat, a cow, or a duck, her clear talent deserves a second chance.
Amala is out now via RCA Records. Get it here.

Myth About Your Dog #1: Do Dogs Share Happily?
I’m starting a little summer series of  “myth busters” about the way we misunderstand our dogs and cats, unwittingly applying human-type emotions and desires to animals, who are actually cut from a different piece of cloth than we are.  I hope these will serve as little reminder “taps on the shoulder” to us that we should respect other species for who they are, both as different mammals from us, and also as individuals.
Myth #1 – Dogs enjoy sharing the way people do. Some of us like to think that our dogs are happy to share with other dogs. Share our love and attention. Share their toys. Share their sleeping places. Share their hunting spots. Share the back of the car. Share the prime spot on the sofa. Even share their treats and dinner!  Really!? We encourage sharing. We like to think that “share and share alike” is a positive quality that we can imbue in our dogs, even if they don’t come to us ready to embrace the concept. We expect dogs to share, we’re delighted when they seem to, and we even get annoyed if they don’t. (We’re a little unrealistic in believing that sharing is natural for people, too – but more on that below!)
It isn’t logical for dogs to share Without specific scientific evidence close at hand, I’d have to say that it is rarely true that a dog willingly shares her valuable assets with another dog. Why would she? Where will that get her? “Survival of the fittest” is still at the root of it all, isn’t it? On a primal level, how would a dog survive as an individual – beginning with her littermates – if she always gave up her turn at the “milk bar” or the toy bin to those who wanted it more?  That’s technically called the runt of the litter! What creature has an innate desire to wind up at the bottom of life’s totem pole…which in the cold, cruel world of the animal kingdom is sort of where “sharing” gets you!
Hang on! But I’ve seen dogs who share and take turns Yes, I’ve seen those dogs, too. My own dogs! But it doesn’t happen naturally or without constant and firm intervention. I actually raise all my dogs to share – and most of them join the family at random times in their lives from Weimaraner rescues, so who knows what their backgrounds were? Sharing happens because I play refere: “You wait: it’s Wanda’s turn to lick that pot, you’re next,” or “Let Maisie get on the bed.”
An exception to the not-so-quick-to-share can be when dogs have grown up together and developed “an understanding.” Most likely this is is simply a hierarchy in which one dog has evolved as the “top dog” so both dogs proceed on the assumption that “what’s his is his, and what’s mine is his, too!” That can look like sharing.
Wait! Do people actually share freely with others? If you think that dogs should share the way people do, you clearly haven’t seen the vocalizations or physical expressions of indignation that can be expressed by toddlers (or older) whose snack or toy is under siege from someone else. Not to mention grown adults trying to get online at a wedding buffet or get a seat on the subway!
When dogs have high value treats or food they really love it can create an even greater reason not to share (my girls adore their Halo food – the kibble, but also the canned Spot’s Stew – so I’m extra careful to feed them at a distance from each other since Wanda eats a whole lot faster than Maisie).
Real Life Vs. Wishful Thinking Sharing is a concept that might look good on paper, but in a dog’s real life (or ours) it doesn’t come naturally. Teaching a dog to share requires negotiation, patience, persistence and even the offering of bribes or recompense by referees  (like Halo’s Luv-a-Lots). For true harmony between dogs, you’re probably best off supporting the idea that each one gets his own stuff and his space is universally respected as his own.

SUPERBONUS 4: FREE LIFETIME UPDATES!
The Cat Language Bible™ is the culmination of all my research and everything that is currently known about cat behavior and feline-to-human communication. It will show you everything you need to know to be able to communicate with your feline friend and be the best care-giver possible. However, I am still actively involved in the research and therefore I am promising you that if in the future (following new discoveries), I release a new version of The Cat Language Bible™, you get it for FREE! And you don’t have to do anything from your part – I will simply email you that latest version, so you can keep at the forefront of feline-to-human communication research.
What’ll I need to invest for the gift of cat language, Jonas?
Altogether this package would normally run you $199, and it would be well worth it at that price. You’re not only learning to speak to your animal and develop a bond and connection very few cat owners ever get to experience firsthand…
..you’ll also learn how to turn this knowledge into the best care, training, and even nutrition for your cat that even your Vet doesn’t know about!
Speaking of which, you’ve probably spent thousands of dollars at the Vet for basic health checkups so $199 for elite level understanding of cat language and care is like a dream package, even at our retail price.
But because I want you to experience the joy of communicating with your cat without thinking about the financials one second longer, I’m giving you an incredible offer today.
Order on this page, and you’ll get our entire system for not $199 – or even $99. You’ll get the whole system for one low payment of $27.

Great work Jonas, keep it up and keep us updated!”

It’s an incredible feeling being finally able to break down the language barrier between us and our most loved companions. This should be required reading for every cat parent out there!”
