ok I'm not an expert but I'm not seeing much specific info going around here, and there's a lotta Palestine solidarity protests in the UK this weekend, so here is some (including UK-specific) protest info and resources (mostly pulled whole-cloth from Twitter)

policing is heavy at Palestine protests generally

Hamas is a proscribed org under UK law. that means "inviting support" for them or "wearing clothing or displaying articles" that implies you are a supporter is a criminal offence (if you're interested, here's the full list of criminal offences from gov.uk). Palestinian flags etc are ok*, but do not have something that could be mistaken for Hamas imagery. don't go out there looking for convictions pls.

*in spite of what Suella Braverman has implied, the London Muslim Community Forum has just confirmed that the Palestinian flag is not a proscribed flag and is not banned (apologies for quoting the "we advise the met police" group but I thought it was important to have that info explicitly)

don't talk to cops. that includes the police liasion officers in blue bibs.

particularly if you're concerned about your face ending up on social media etc, but also just good practice in general (both in terms of COVID and protest safety)—mask up. cover up tattoos etc.

have bustcards or contact details for protest legal support on you. Green and Black Cross can be contacted on 07946 541 511. write the number on your arm etc.

if you witness an arrest: check if there's a legal observer nearby and if so call them over; if not: if the arrestee doesn't have a bustcard, give them one, find out where they're being taken, and contact eg GBC or a protest support line

if you have the time and can help out, there will likely be arrestee support required after—GBC tend to post callouts on Twitter for this

for particularly children and young people and their families being referred to PREVENT for pro-Palestine statements, contact PREVENTWatch and maybe also Palestine in School (newer initiative I think, I don't have an excessive amount of detail on them just FYI)

Liberty, Migrants Organise and Black Protest Legal Support have bustcards in different languages, including Arabic and Somali (also Liberty's website has lotsa useful info, including advice for disabled protesters, protesting and immigration status, and what to do if you're kettled)

GBC's thread on what to do if you see an arrest is useful, as are all their resources generally

if I've missed anything or made a mistake, lmk—as I said, I am very much not an expert. if you know people who are protesting, pass them the legal support line numbers; if you're attending, stay safe and be vigilant; and ofc carry water.

Hi! Can you write a Xavier Thorpe x Reader one shot, where reader is just like Wednesday, doesn’t show her emotions and is really closed off.

Her and Xavier have had a ‘thing’ going on but Xavier was sick of her not showing how she feels and not wanting to tell people and they have a fight just before the Rave’n so Xavier ends up taking Bianca.

When Reader turns up with Wednesday, Tyler, Enid and Ajax, she sees Xavier with Bianca and actually starts to tear up for the first time in her life.

The others are noticing she’s crying are are freaking out and she keeps denying it before she finally breaks down and runs out.

Maybe Enid is angry and goes up to Xavier shouting and he eventually runs after Reader, and a happy ending please? A really soft cute ending where they fix things and Reader is just desperately apologising and begging for Xavier to stay with her, which is unlike her but she really loves him :))

"I'm so sick of you not telling me how you feel about things. it's not that easy to guess your emotions, Y/n. and what's the problem of not letting people see? what are they going to do, huh?" he said loudly

"if you're sick of me, then leave" you barked

"and let me guess, you won't care, will you?" he laughed sarcastically

"I mean I wouldn't be sad" you shrugged

"of course you wouldn't" he rolled his eyes before walking away from you.

you looked back at them as your friends walked a little ahead of you.

the feeling came back, at a much worse rate, making you feel sick. you felt your eyes start to water again, but they actually fell down your cheeks this time

"hey! hey, what's wrong?" Enid pressed as she turned to you, noticing your state

"nothing, it's just so bright in here" you made up an excuse

she looked over to where you were looking

"are you sure it's not about them?" she questioned softly

"I'm sure, Enid" you nodded your head, subtly sniffling

"it's ok to be upset" Ajax added

"I'm not upset!" you spoke too loud, making some people around you turn your way

"I'm not upset" you repeated as more tears fell down.

"honey, it's ok" Enid comforted

"No it's not!" you cried, quickly walking out of the room to the quad, where you sat down on the edge of the fountain, crying.

back at the dance, Enid watched as you ran out crying. she sighed before looking over at your friends. she turned to Xavier on the other side of the room and took a deep breath

"can I talk to Xavier for a second?" Enid asked calmly to Bianca

she looked her up and down before looking at Xavier "I'll get us some drinks" she said before she left

"what is wrong with you?" Enid qustioned angrily

"what are you talking about" he raised an eyebrow

"you had no right to tell her she can't show her feelings! because she can and it's obvious that she has feelings for you!" she almost yelled at the tall boy

"yeah, it's so obvious" he replied sarcastically

"she's crying over you right now, Xavier. so don't come telling me or her or anybody that she doesn't have feelings. because she does" Enid poked his chest with her pointer finger

"I hate to break it to you, Enid, but I don't think she's crying, are you sure you j-"

"you think you can just show up with a date- who, is not her but your ex and she would be upset about it? you might not have seen much from her but I can tell you right now that now is the time to see her" Enid cut Xavier off

Xavier looked over at Bianca, who was talking to her friend with two drinks in her hand

"you can't seriously be contemplating to stay with Bianca or going to find, Y/n are you?" she scoffed "if you are then don't go to Y/n. but if you can tell me that you 100 percent have no feelings for Bianca anymore, then go"

Xavier looked down at Enid and looked around

"she's in the quad"

"thanks" Xavier smiled before walking quickly out of the dance room.

"hey, you ok?" Xavier started, hearing sniffles and sobs from you as your back faced him

"go back to Bianca, I'm sure she'll be looking for you" you spoke wobbily

"you know I don't care about her" he sat down next to you

"I'm sorry" you sobbed

"for what?" he asked

"not showing enough emotions, I thought you knew how much I liked you" you mumbled

"liked?" Xavier quizzed, his voice was gentle and uneasy as he repeated what you said

"I mean I still do, I wouldn't be crying if I didn't" you laughed quietly

"good" he smiled, he kept his distance as you turned to sit looking ahead instead of the water in the fountain

you two sat in silence for a while, hearing the muffled music from inside

you leaned in closer to him, resting your head on his shoulder as you looked down at your hands.

Xavier smiled to himself as he looked at you in the corner of his eyes.

"you look really pretty tonight" he confessed

"thank you" you sniffled.

"you look beautiful every day, I'm just trying to say you look really nice in that dress" he blushed lightly

"I know" you giggled

Xavier sighed happily, letting silence take over again. he reached hand out anxiously wondering if you'll take it or not

you looked down at his hand that rested on his thigh, open for you to hold. you smiled before reaching for it, intertwining your fingers as you held onto it.

How would he react to a transmale reader getting un-stealthed?

(In case you don't know what stealth means; Stealth= when a trans person passes so well everyone thinks they're cis and they don't come out.)

So the reader passed well when he arrived in the entitys realm, but after a few months someone found out about about them being trans and then tells people their deadname and shows pre-transition photos ect.

(You can also do it with characters of your choice ofc as long as Trickster is one of them).

I’ve actually had a similar situation happen to me once! My resentment for the people in said situation might be showing a bit. Thank you so much for the request! :)

Was he expecting you to be trans? Not exactly. Will he tolerate the bull fuckery that is happening? Fuck no!

The next and most important thing is making sure your okay.

He would hold you, rubbing circles on your back. He’ll just be there for you.

He stopped it very early. The asshat could only tell a few people before he put a pin in it.

He’ll threaten the others to not say a word and have his fun with the asshat.

I think you know what I mean by fun. I’ll spare you the gory details.

He’ll find you off by yourself looking destroyed.

He walks up to you and calmly sits down. He’ll pull you into his side.

This man is surprisingly good at making up stories. He’ll do anything to get you to smile.

He’ll spin stories about outcasts and mysterious murders. It somehow helped soothe you.

Once he has you calm he’ll tell you how much he cares about you.

“Sweet thing you mean the world to me. You’ll always be my good boy.”

He’ll give a little note and told you to read it when you have dysphoria.

Reigen Akataka:

He speaks for you. Definitely would tease you by telling a friend that you said something when you actually didnt.

He cares you so much that he wants you to be comfortable to talk more freely. Whenever you guys are alone he makes sure he starts the convo so you dont have to force anything. He appreciates how nice you are to him.

There are some stuff here and there where reigen was mad, but he never let it out on you. During a spirit hunting, he brought you along with mob aswell. One piece AU everyone is marine except for Luffy. He gets into a fight with every single one of them and has to befriend and gain their trust in order to be a part of his crew. They all have their own personal vendetta against pirates.

It's a work in progress but please add some of your intake on this AU I want to hear it

Oh! That is such an awesome idea??? I love it!! Mmmm I would love to give you my thoughts on every mugiwara, but it's kind of difficult when it comes to characters like Robin or Franky. Or Zoro, even- But I'll try to tell you how I think Nami/Usopp/Sanji would become marines because it's tbh pretty easy.

Nami is an easy one: When Bellemere dies and Cocoyashi Village is invaded by Arlong, Nami just decides to follow her mom's steps and become a Marine to save the village because she manages to escape from Arlong. Then the story is basically the same, tbh. She becomes a marine, goes to the village to help from time to time, but she can't do anything bc of the corruption within the marines. She wants to help but she isn't actually free being a marine, yadda yadda yadda. Luffy appears. Same old story. She joins Luffy.

Usopp is an easy one too, tbh: He hates his father and pirates bc Yasopp left him to become one. He becomes a pirate to see the world and become stronger and also bc he thinks it's the only way he has to make Kaya proud and be able to tell her stories, and, well, bc he hates pirates. He goes to Syrup Village from time to time to visit her. And the story is basically the same, tbh. Luffy helps Kaya when Usopp can't do it on his own and he realizes that perhaps Yasopp had a (semi) valid reason to leave, and he wants to have a taste of those adventures too!

Sanji's story is a bit more complex, but hear me out: Everything is the same, except that the marines are who find him and Zeff on that rock. Zeff, ofc, being a pirate and all can't talk directly to the marines so he just manages to steal a boat. Don't ask how, you're the one with the AU, I'm just here for the vibes, bestie. And so Zeff wants Sanji to have a better life bc he's, you know, a kid. And even if he doesn't like marines, he still think the pirate life for this little eggplant isn't the best. But Sanji wants to stay with him!!! So Zeff says very mean and horrible things to him to make the kid hate him and make him go with the marines. Long story short, Sanji becomes a very skilled cook for the marines and he ofc can also fight. He hates pirates bc Zeff left him, but he has mixed feelings for the man bc he saved him. Uhhh, not sure how he meets Luffy. Perhaps they somehow find each other at the Baratie when Sanji just happens to be there too. Maybe he finds Zeff there again and they end up making amends after saying he hates pirates for so long. Perhaps making amends with him and meeting Luffy is what makes him join the straw hats!! Idk. I need time to think about that.

The other crew members are hard af so PLEASE I'd be so happy if you sent me an ask (or a DM, if you don't want people to know about your AU details yet) explaining your ideas <3 My friend said Chopper is just Sengoku's other goat and Chopper keeps telling him that he's not a goat and he becomes a doctor for the marines and I think that's the funniest thing-

So this is how it starts - Chapter 1

Pairing: Matty x original female character Warnings: drinking, smoking, swearing; mentions of: misoginy, cancer (in the past), infertility Disclaimer: some of what the ofc is experiencing is rooted in my lived reality, however I lie for plot purposes a lot. I draw inspiration from things that I read somewhere or that actually happened to me or my friends. It's not proof read and English is my second language so there's either too many commas or not enough commas.

The line connects.

"Hey, are you still at the restaurant?"

"Yes, we just ordered. Is your date already over??" Carly is on the other line.

I let out a breath "yes..." I'm a tad annoyed.

"That bad?"

"Worse"

"Come over, I'll text you the address, then you can have a few drinks with me and the boys and tell the whole story"

"Fuck, are the boys there as well? I really don't want to ruin your guys' night with my moping"

"you're not allowed to mope, just recount the story of your horrible date in great detail, maybe someone will offer to break his legs or something and we'll all laugh about it. Ross' girl and Charlie are here as well. I'm sure nobody will mind, right?" Carly raises her voice a bit as to ask her company rather than me and adds "See, no objections."

We hang up, my phone chimes with the address of a restaurant in Soho and I'm on my way. Great, now I have time to overthink. Until a few minutes ago I was under the impression that Carly was offering me to crash the end of her date night with Adam. The thought of having to socialize with a whole group of people makes me slightly nervous.

When I arrive I spot the group at the back of the restaurant. The fact that there's an empty chair right next to Carly reserved for me doesn't go unnoticed and I make my way over there.

"Hi everybodyyyyyyy, I'm Hannah" I awkwardly greet the group. I don't know why I find it awkward. Sure, I'm friends with Carly (and Adam for that matter), I have met the rest of them at some point or another, and on the few occasions I met Adam's bandmates they've been nothing but nice and welcoming. I'm greeted with a round of smiley hello's, Carly is the only one who gets up to hug me and I'm grateful for that. I can really use the hug but I'm happy the rest stay seated and don't make a massive commotion. I plop down on the chair next to me and let out a breath. What a fucking nightmare of an evening.

It doesn't take long for a waitress to arrive. "Can I get you anything to drink?"

"Yes, I don't know..." I'm momentarily overwhelmed and kind of tired. I look around at what the others are having and just choose the first thing I see "I'll have a glass of wine just like that one, thanks". The waitress nods and leaves.

"Ah, the Malbec, good choice" the man I know to be Matty comments. I laugh and shrug. I have met him a few times, once at Carly and Adam's wedding, a few times when I was visiting baby Hann but I never really had a full conversation with him. I know he's fun, I know he's a bit weird in a good way, I know he's been to rehab and I know he travels a lot.

"I know shit all about wine so I hope you don't let me down!" I jokingly reply before Carly interrupts.

"So tell me everything. Why is this date over after just an hour?"

"Urghh I had to leave before the main course arrived because that guy was being outright rude and disrespectful. I'm never doing online dating ever again! He seemed so nice in his profile but the real him was a total let-down. I mean, at the beginning the conversation was okay-ish, first date-ish, smalltalk, you know? But then after we ordered our food he asked me: 'so how many kids do you want to have?'" I try to imitate a typical gym-bro while saying that "Like, not *if* I want to have children, no, he asks *how many* as if it's out of the question that I want to have kids. Well, I then told him that I can't have kids because of the whole cancer situation and do you know what he says???" anger is rising in my chest and I'm probably talking too loud but I don't care. "He just asks me 'Well then why are you dating men?' and I'm just sitting there like..." I'm temporarily out of words.

"Oh wow, are you serious? What an absolute asshole!" it's the reaction I expected from Carly but to my surprise it's Matty who chimes in.

"Right?!?" I reply.

"As if the only reason to seek human connection is to reproduce." he scoffs

"EXACTLY?! He then continued to tell me that he's a 'high value man' - whatever the fuck that's supposed to mean- and that he has to spread his DNA or some bullshit and that if I don't plan on having kids I shouldn't try to snatch a fertile man off the market or some shit. The whole experience was uncomfortable, misogynistic and probably homophobic"

"Fucking hell, I'm sorry you had to go through that" I just look at him and bam, I'm in love. Wait, no, I'm not in love with Matty, I'm just impressed by his emotional intelligence that I'm not used to in men. At least that's what I tell myself.

The waiter appears with my glass of red wine and I take a huge gulp. I don't really want to process what's happening right now.

"Yeah, dating in your 30ies isn't fun. I'm probably gonna die alone. And I'd actually hugely prefer dying alone to spending my time with an idiot like that." I continue. That earns me a light chuckle from Matty and a stern "you're not going to die alone! I won't let you!" from Carly.

The wine in combination with no dinner goes straight into my bloodstream and takes some of the anger and agitation away. I'm calming down and I find myself enjoying the company. The conversations flow easily.

"Right, smoke break. Anyone?" Matty asks the group around the table.

"I'm still good, mate, nobody can smoke as much as you" George laughs and nobody seems in the mood for a cigarette.

He gets up and I suddenly decide that I do indeed need a smoke break. Do I smoke? no. Do I want to stand in the slightly chilly evening air and watch a handsome stranger give himself lung cancer? absolutely yes.

"I'll join you!" I grab my coat and follow him out of the restaurant.

In front of the restaurant he fishes a pack of cigarettes and a lighter out of his coat pocket. He takes one out and goes on to offer me one. I wave my hand in decline and add "thanks, I don't actually smoke". He looks at me confused, almost offended and then just chuckles.

He lights the cigarette "why did you join me for a smoke if you don't actually smoke?"

"I just felt like I needed some fresh air"

"If you want some time alone with me, you could just ask me on a date, you know?"

"haha, very funny" I retort

"I think it's kind of cool that you came here, and that you're angry at that twat and not yourself"

"What d'you mean by that?" is what I say and internally I'm like what a weird fucking thing to say.

"I don't know how to explain that but often people go on a shitty date and afterwards think there's something wrong with *them* and not with the other person who was being a dick. It's kind of cool that you're kind of pissed at that asshole and not drowning in self pity"

"Rrrright. Thanks, I guess?" I laugh and he starts laughing as well.

"Sorry I sometimes have thoughts that make total sense in my head and when I try to say them out loud I sound like a total loser."

"Don't worry, I get it!"

We stand in silence for a few moments after that. I enjoy the fresh air which just emphasizes the buzz from the wine. I feel warm in my coat and relaxed.

"So what's the cancer situation?" he asks

"'xcuse me, the what?" I'm a bit confused

"but I just realized it's not really any of my business, I'm just curious, you obviously don't have to tell me"

"Oh... Oh yeah, I had ovarian cancer when I was 14, they had to take everything out. Turns out that I have a gene mutation thing that had me at a very high risk of getting breast cancer, so I got a preventative boob job out of that as well"

He looks at me for a few seconds and then just drily says "Oh fuck!"

That's a new reaction, it's refreshing. Usually the reaction I get from people is pity, which I hate because I don't really mind my situation. I'm fine. I‘m healthy, I have a good job, great friends, fun hobbies and most importantly: I'm alive!

I'm a bit tipsy, my mood has significantly improved and so I add "I mean I'm happy the doctors were brave enough to do all that because as I learned today I have a lot less value as a woman if I can't produce babies" I roll my eyes and chuckle. He smiles but apparently doesn't find me particularly funny in this moment.

"I hope you don't really believe that"

"Of course I don't actually believe that. I was trying to make a joke. But I guess I don't have to tell you about jokes that don't land, Mr. Meta"

"Mr. Meta, oooooh I like that nickname, please never use it again" he laughes and infectious.

I love this. I find myself craving... him. I wonder how warm his hugs feel but before I can get lost in that train of thought he stubs out his cigarette and holds the door open for me.

The rest of the evening is spent getting to know everybody a bit better, getting even tipsier and hearing funny stories from the band's latest leg of the tour. After the bill is paid and everybody makes their way out of the restaurant the group gathers on the sidewalk in front of the restaurant to say their goodbyes. I hug Carly and Adam, enthusiastically wave to the rest. Before I have a chance to turn around and be on my marry way, Matty asks "Which way are you going?"

"Just down the street to the tube station"

"Mind if I walk with you? I'm headed roughly in the same direction"

He seems like a guy who has the funds to take a cab but I guess he's a grown man who can make his own decisions, so I just say "sure" and can't help but smile.

We say goodbye to the group and head towards the tube station.

has/had multiple situationships to keep things interesting, and yes, she's doing a very good job keeping them all separate and unaware of each other

has never addressed any rumors that circulate about her; because she's been doing such a good job keeping everyone on the need-to-know basis only, a lot of true and false details could have gotten around. she only ever responds with a laugh, and never directly addresses it

because she's here for the long haul, she needed to have some kind of 'hobby', and unfortunately, that is people watching and collecting info on people, may it be gossip, secrets, or anything that will be 'useful' later on really

sometimes she will stir drama because she's bored (with muns consents and permissions ofc) and best believe she will get away unscathed

ironically has strong feelings towards fairness and justice; she abhors nepotism... but it's not above her to make use of connections to get to where she needs to be

Sleep had always been difficult for you. Your body knew it needed rest, but your mind kept you from reaching it until you'd reached the point of absolute exhaustion. It led you to harsh burnouts and disorders galore, but that all changed when you met him.

Dream of the Endless was not what you expected. You'd stumbled into him in your dreams, or well lack thereof. Your dreams had been filled with blank places, nothing fleshed out or detailed just blurry figures and incoherent words. This was apparently something that Dream found curious, so much so, he ventured into your dreams to get a closer look and found you.

After hearing your explanation of things he came every night to help you sleep, insisting that your dreams were better to him when you could see them. It was the start of a beautiful friendship that turned into more. You cleaned up your kitchen, barely reacting to his sudden appearance beside you. "You're early tonight."

"Yes, I finished my work quicker than expected."

You looked up at him with a smile. "You say that every night."

Dream's lips curled up only a fraction. "And I mean it every night."

"Unlikely," you said. "You know I don't want to burden you."

"Finish your tasks, dreamer." He said fondly.

Once you'd cleaned up and gotten yourself ready for bed you joined Dream under your covers. It was a recent development, him staying and cuddling you while you slept, but you wouldn't complain. He took his pouch of sand out of his coat and grabbed a small pinch of it. "You don't have to stay, you know."

He paused and looked at you. "Do you not wish me to?"

"I do!" You clarified. "I just don't want to keep you from doing anything important."

"You and your rest are important, Dreamer." He assured you. "Now relax and sweet dreams."

"Goodnight, Dream," you whispered as the sand settled over your face and lulled you into his world of dreams.

Rumps, I genuinely mean this in the nicest way possible, but you might need to go to a different therapist if they refuse to/ can't diagnose you with something despite you having the symptoms™? I'm saying this out of personal experience, but lots of doctors simply suck ass when it comes to anything but mild standard depression or anxiety, especially since there's still lots of stigma surrounding anything else. Also I get the desire to stay unknown™, but seriously when it comes to stuff like mental health, it might be best to continue looking for someone who knows what's going on and can help you with things that may distress you. You don't need to ofc, and I really hope this ask doesn't come off as being too controlling or smth, but yeah

Ok I dont like going into detail on this stuff but basically, while I have various symptoms, I don't fill the full criteria for any DSM-V diagnosis (acc to three differently specialized therapists), which really just means that a lot of the most helpful types of therapy and medication for specific disorders may not be helpful to me. A diagnosis is mostly supposed to help you know how to manage right? Well I manage pretty good mostly!

That said I'm not in distress, I'm seeing a doctor soon about a possible route to go, and I do fairly well on average so dont worry bout little ol me

Oh let’s start with the fact that your writing style was INSANE .I really love the way you describe things .Dark Alicent my beloved you were done justice in this .

And Alicent having Aegon to attend lessons ma then granting him so wine was such a goof bit and I do think that was in character for both of them .

Alicent played the dutiful way after Viserys died (“Let him rest!”) was such a delicious detail .I really felt for Aegon when he takes the throne and it’s such a nightmare but if he stays delusional his family (and any possibility of recognition)is dead .I SEE what you were doing with Helaena’s warnings and I love it .

The politics in this were all so delicious .Weird word for talking about politics but reading about the Black box and Corlys as hand and Lord Arryn and Rhaenyra’s pregnancy was so engaging .

Alicent losing three kids was a change that struck me ,and I find it interesting because a lot of women lost children in medieval times and now we don’t even know if they actually lost them or even had them so it was interesting in the historical sense .And really sad because the scene where she is caressing her empty belly really did something to me .I stared at the phone for like ten minutes .

Alicole in this was INSANE ,like wdym she literally said she wanted to have his babies ? What do you mean she’s PLANNING to make him hers ? Not that it makes me unhappy actually I was kicking my feet the entire time .

Alicent’s dream was such a haunting and good bit .Aemond being his cunty self my beloved .And you mentioning Daeron with Criston …the way you wiew Daeron is so heartwarming he is such a KID .

And ofc her last words to Viserys were so cunty and so hunting .The way she took his life and the only possibility to ease his guilt after what he did to Aemma was probably the best bit of the entire chapter .”See you in Hell” GODD

Lessons in exchange for wine is something that totally would happen, this is soft manipulation/motivation.

Alicent must be a cancer, I can feel it, it's in my blood. I have wondered for a long time what is a major manipulation feature one can express, and I totally would play dumb and heartbroken just to see the outcome and cover my actions, I gave her this to make her truly unhinged.

Aegon is doing it for his children and his siblings, this is the sole reason, wine also. I think he used Helaena's vision to justify his actions and feel less guilty about it, but don't worry, there will be no remorse coming.

I'm not a politics girl, like I don't understand anything about it, so in my head I always justify everything as "political undisclosed reasons", but then, Alicent is a politician, her father and life taught her the hard way, so she had, as queen mediator, to act. Including taking risks with helping Corlys raise to position - one snake + one snake = naja and coral. She must be suttle, must analyze everything, every step, no faux pas.

Corlys is playing for the winning team when is convenient, though don't ask me what he will tell his wife.

I also pondered who would be a major Lord who could prove himself against Rhaenyra, and who better than the brother of her mother. Throughout s1 she stroked me as being relapse and naive about the power of court women, while Alicent entertained them, Rhaenyra was mostly doing faces and throwing some tantrums. Who's to say she wouldn't offend, unknowingly, a member of her own extended family? The Arryns are a super important house, and are her relatives, losing them is losing the vale.

Let's not mention Viserys health deteriorating and her doing what? Thousands years of honeymoon? Alicent was pregnant and holding a child while the world was falling apart and pretty girl was doing what? This will be brought up again in the future. Viserys would 100% overlook and think nothing of it (as always).

I have an hc that she had at least three more pregnancies, though she would have lost them by natural causes, I decided to make her get rid of them herself, and lamenting it because obviously she wouldn't want to do it, but she couldn't bring herself to birth more children to an ungrateful crown. I believe after Aemond, she would often tell Criston like "oh, i wish they were yours" both because she lost faith in Viserys, but also because Criston was the dadTM and she's in love with him.

They are very much aware of their feelings, but my intention was to do it much more mature and heavy, more wild and on edge, they are certainly more touchy, more open, not that many notice or see it happening beyond some of her servants and Westerling (he have a keen eye).

But again, they would never be caught red handed (god I really want to post the second chapter, people will scream).

Even if he's already hers, Alicent doesn't content herself with halves, she wants the whole meal, the whole experience.

Daeron will always be a baby, he's not allowed to grow up, he stays in mini size, pocket size. Though she would want it, Alicent won't get pregnant again, she doesn't have the energy to do so, and she is Dowager Queen, she has an image to keep.

She hates Viserys, like, actively, fervently. Alicent wanted to say those words when he was alive but she couldn't risk him not dying.

I'm so glad this made your day better, this is always the major intent! Chapter 2 will come soon, I'll try to post it as soon as possible.

This one…really got away from me 😅 in a good way though! Under the cut for length (and ofc this is post-s3, pre-s4):

Cisco thought he’d gotten to know Iris pretty well over the past few years. Even amidst Barry's coma when they’d first met, they’d become fast friends. Iris found him more approachable than Caitlin at the time, and Cisco found Iris a welcome spot of bright optimism in a dreary place filled with loss.

Iris was always like that. Always encouraging, optimistic, nurturing. Cisco had seen her cry plenty of times, but he’d also seen her brush it off when she saw him, change the subject. And he’d never really felt like it was his place to say much about it. Especially since by the time he did feel like they were friendly enough for him to do anything, Barry was awake, and Iris was dating Eddie, and...Cisco knew where he’d be more of a hindrance than a help.

But now…in the wake of Barry leaving, it fell to Iris and Cisco in different ways to cope. Barry had placed the burden of leadership on Cisco’s shoulders, told Iris to keep growing, loving, and running, and Caitlin was...off dealing with her own stuff.

Cisco tried, but...he was no leader. He could give Wally direction behind the comms just fine, but...really, he was more intent on getting Barry back, so that he could set everything right. Maybe things would make sense again. Maybe...

Maybe his best friend’s bright smile would stop haunting him. Maybe Savitar would.

(The sight of that hand, so close, so close—he knew about Cisco's nightmares, he knew how much it hurt, how Cisco remembered every agonizing detail, and he'd still—

“Not you,” Savitar cooed, “her.” His other best friend. As if that was any more merciful.)

Iris wasn’t doing much better. She’d quit her job, she was apparently still living at the loft...and more often than not, she offered to run comms while Cisco went to see Harry, or Dr. McGee, or Jay Garrick's wife Joan, or...

Or while he just went home, curled up into a ball, and sobbed, screamed, dreamed about Barry returning, woke to that being only a fantasy.

It got easier, passing that torch to Iris. He hadn't even realized it until it had already happened. He didn’t even realize that she was there after he left hours after sunset, and there before he came by at 7am.

What he did know was that one day, he left, realized hours later that he’d forgotten something, came back in...and found Iris hunched over the desk, sobbing quietly.

And then it hit him. Hard.

“Iris...?”

She startled, wiping at her eyes and trying for a smile that didn't hold. Once, twice, thrice. “Oh. Cisco. I...I didn't realize...I thought you’d—”

“Yeah, I just...I forgot something,” he said. “I, um...” He was almost tempted to make a quick escape, but Iris’s heartbreak rooted him in place. “Are you...?”

“I’m fine,” she said quickly.

“Right. I just. You don't look—”

“I said I’m fine!” She snapped, sighing right after. “Sorry. I just—”

“No, I shouldn’t have..." he sighed. “Look, you don’t…owe me an explanation of anything. You loved him more than anything…I get that. I just wanted to say...if you ever need a place to stay, let me know, okay? My apartment’s big enough for two.”

Barry was a hard person not to love…and a harder person to not grieve. Cisco was nearly torn apart by it…he couldn’t imagine Iris’s pain.

Iris's eyes widened. “I...what?”

“Well, I just—I know your loft is really important to you, and I don't mean you have to move out,” he rambled. “I just. If you wanted to. Temporarily. Just...just until...”

Until when? Until Barry came back? None of Cisco’s ideas were yielding results, he couldn’t promise th—

“Okay.”

Cisco blinked. “Okay?”

“Okay,” Iris agreed, smiling shakily. "I, um. Just for a couple nights, maybe. Change of scenery could be nice. If…if that’s okay with you.”

“Y-yeah, yeah. That's what I was thinking. Um...” Cisco ran a nervous hand through his hair. “Whenever you want. Tonight, even.”

“You’re sure?” Iris asked slowly.

“Only if you are.” He didn’t want to push her into anything.

“Cisco, it's...I mean, it's your apartment you're offering, I don't...I wouldn't want to impose—”

“It’s not an imposition,” Cisco insisted, “I’m offering. We’re friends, right? And this is what friends do.”

“Yeah.” Iris’s smile was a little brighter now, which Cisco counted as a victory. “Yeah, this is what friends do.”

Question, how would you advise a beginner to animate? Like, tips and tricks qwq

Hmmm... Idrk if I'm qualified to be answering questions like these considering I've never taken art or animation classes but I'll try to give a list of some personal takeaways I've had from my journey in teaching myself to being an animator.

It's going to be a bit of a long read so I'll keep it under the cut for those interested!

Here are a few things I learned in my ongoing learning experience as a self-taught animator:

The 12 Principles of Animation - I'm going to start using a bit of technical terms here so I suggest you first study this video to understand my ramblings below!

Break things down one by one - this was one of the struggles I've had when I first started animating. I wanted to make smooth and completely extravagant animations without planning what I wanted to animate into pieces. You really ought to break down body parts, starting off with the limbs that are dominantly leading the main body first (for example torso and legs) before adding the arms and other appendages that are often dragged along by the main body. Here's an example of a study I did months ago showcasing what I mean! (Though it's not the smoothest I've ever made, but it's the only study animation I have readily available lmao). This doesn't have to be for animations alone though, it can be for animatics as well. Make sure you're doing them step by step, starting with rough storyboards to sketching then moving up to lining the backgrounds and characters and adding effects last to not overwhelm yourself.

Pacing - I loved it when I had that epiphany moment after first realizing this. Be it if you're trying to make smooth animations or trying to tell stories with simple animatics like I do— pacing will always be a key and important principle in animation. You can make the smoothest looking animations with only 8fps (as opposed to industry standards of 24fps) if you know how to pace your frames, and you can tell the most impactful stories with only a few shots if you know how long or how short a scene should stay on screen.

Other Principles - ofc pacing isn't the only principle we have in animation that serve significant purposes as well. There are many others as well as linked in the first bullet of this list!

References and Studying - I don't think I need to elaborate further on this. Even animators need references they ought to study to make their creations more life-like!

Animation Program - this advice is not for everyone. Simply because some people can work with any animation program, but I can't. I struggle with programs that don't feel "intuitive" to me, so if you're anything like that I suggest finding a program you're most comfortable with in order to focus on the animating part more than the technical stuff.

Simplicity - another major struggle I had in the past. I used to animate with a semi-realistic artstyle. Not that it's bad or wrong to do so, I'm sure as hell there's tons of people out there who have semi-realistic animation art styles and are rocking it. But for beginners, it's best to keep your style simple, this is so you can focus on worrying about how you can apply the animation principles you're learning without getting too overwhelmed with the amount of details you have to add with each frame. You can develop a more complicated style later on as you progress!

Continue - ofc no one ever gets better just by learning for a day and completely stopping. Rome wasn't built in a day, take your time in accompanying yourself through this journey and soon enough you'll be looking back at the already long path you've taken.

Aaand that's it! I might one day look back at this list and go "Aw tf you telling this person right now, that ain't right" because I've learned some new things as well but this is the best that my present skills and knowledge can give you. Do keep in mind I've only been animating for 2 years and I am just as much as a beginner as you are, in a sense, but I like sharing what I know so I hope this helped a bit even if I'm probably not qualified to be sharing this at all LMAO

Good luck on your animator's journey! It's gonna be one hell of a struggle at the start but there'll be some wonderful payoffs once you start to greatly improve! :}

Even though he scolds you once per attack, he only does it after you’re feeling better enough.

While you’re still in pain, he’s taking very good care of you.

He still seems like his usual stand-offish self, but he’s actually very worried about you.

If it’s just the two of you, he’ll be a little softer with you.

Gently helping you do things, helping with the pain however he can.

Definitely lets you stay in bed and rest. Rest will ease the pain at least.

Makes sure that you’re feeling better before letting you get up and do things.

As much as he talks about the crew needing you and how every crew member is necessary and needs to do their jobs, he actually won’t let you go back to work until he’s certain.

Really wants to just make it all go away like he did with his White Lead.

If he can’t use his devil fruit to make you feel better, he feels kind of helpless. He hates it.

Hongo

Refuses to do much drinking or partying while you’re having a pain attack.

How can he party when he’s worried about you?

Still does his usual doctor duties but otherwise takes time off to take care of you.

Will straight up tell Shanks to not bother him unless it’s serious.

If it’s anything less than a broken bone or needs stitches, they can manage without him.

You, however, need his attention right now.

Thankfully the Red-hair crew understands

Another one that’s kind of upset that the disease progressed this far.

It’s fixable in its early stages, so why did yours advance this far?

Still, he doesn’t say anything about it.

He’s just worried about making you feel better.

Does everything he can for you.

He’s a senior member of a Yonko’s crew, if you need something and it isn’t too insane, he’ll get it for you.

Like, obviously he’s not going to invade Marijoa (Mary Geoise), but he’ll totally steal from marine admirals or other Yonko’s or whatever.

So long as he knows he won’t get caught, he doesn’t want to cause too much trouble for Shanks.

Like, if it’s for you, he doesn’t mind causing some trouble, but he knows there are limits.

Even if you’re all better, he’ll tell you to continue to take it easy for a few more days just in case.

Will totally party and get super drunk once you’re better though.

You’re not sure if he’s making up for all the missed party time or celebrating that you’re feeling better.

Chopper

This sweet little puffball.

He’s freaking out at first.

What should he do? How should he treat you?

Legitimately sobbing.

He feels like he’s not a good enough doctor because he can’t magically fix it.

You have to reassure him that it’s alright, that he’s still a perfectly good doctor.

Absolutely stays by your side, only leaves when necessary.

The crew knows not to bother him unless they have no choice.

Once literally threw Luffy out of his office for bothering him about something that wasn’t your well being.

He’s such a good doctor, please give him head pats.

This isn’t like after Luffy fights a strong enemy or when Zoro is covered in bandages. He knows how to fix that.

He doesn’t know how to fix this, he doesn’t know how to make it better.

Researches the fuck out of the disease.

Seriously, he’s doing anything to try and cure this.

It’s one of those moments where he’s like “I’m definitely going to cure all diseases!”

Because he wants to cure this.

If you tell him the reason you got better so quickly is because of his care he’s doing that blushing “I’m not flattered, idiot.” thing.

100% keeps a very close eye on you for both flare ups and if you’re still in pain.

One of the few times he’ll go against Luffy.

Like, if Luffy wants to play with you or do something stupid or whatever, he’ll totally throw Luffy overboard or something (If Nami doesn’t beat him to it).

Being a reindeer (and therefore an animal), he understands how this can happen.

One thing I really love about Taylor besides becoming famous in his 30s and therefore older and more mature than when people normally become famous is that he is actually a man who experiences the world and is in touch with reality.

I don't know how much you have read of his old interviews but he is a person who travels a lot (and not just for work where then lives in hotels), has a strong contact with nature, he literally studies and learns because he wants to know how things work around him and what he learns he takes to other people, he is active on social issues, he has participated in many demonstrations, he has been active for the votes in the US, he has moved to raise funds and help Latin families in difficulty, he has been educated by his parents in 'humility and knowledge of the privilege in which they lived and he wants to be an actor it's his dream but he would like to see a change in that world for Latinx actors stuck in stereotyped roles... However I'm very far from praising celebrities that we don't know but I really think for once we have someone who is mature and educated enough to do the right thing and I hope his hard work and patience pays off sooner or later

Thank you for sending this and sharing your opinion! I think I pretty much agree? I didn't really actively look for old interviews and contents but I attentively stumble enough stuff to generally agree with what you said.

I don't know how exactly he started as a model/in the fashion industry (i mean i know how since i have eyes but i don't know if it was something he wanted to try or if it was only an easiest way to pay his bills whike starting as an actor (and both would be respectable ofc)) but my guess is that he's making his best to highlight the less shallow sides of a perceived-shallow-industry while still trying to make it fun and light? Obviously he's still paid for showing farmers' work and sheeps or whatever but it's an editorial policy he choose for his public image that many other people in the same industry don't bother doing?

And even without knowing in details about the other things he did in his life, the example alone speaks enough for itself about who he must be in other aspect of life.

I hope he'll manage to stay that way. Many celebrities don't manage to and even if for some it's because they lost touch with reality, I think that for others, it's because it's so hard to do or say anything when you're on the receiving side of millions people's attention that it's easiest to not do anything and stick to a very controlled and kind of robotic public image.

I tend to ramble a lot so I tried to keep my answer on the short side but I'm not sure if I made much sense. Long story short, thanks for your message + i agree with you 😅
