I have finished episodes 7 and 8 of Hazbin Hotel. Fucks. Obviously.

First thing I will address without exception is Lucifer roasting Adam's game to his face. Yes, King!!! Oh my fucking god! Get him! Physically and mentally! I hollered over the dialogue and had to play it back. Note my volume was at twenty. I've been thinking that exact thing from the start and to have Lucifer vocalize it during battle is legendary.

Bless Jeremy Jordan's delivery as well. Sold it. Phenomenal casting. Wouldn't have anyone else playing Lucifer.

OKAY very quick synopsis: for those who don’t know security units (SecUnits) in the Murderbot universe are half cloned human and half bot constructs that are rented out to clients as security guards. In this au, Security Puppet (or SecPup, if that isn’t too stupid?) is a SecUnit variant built by Henry to protect his daughter when kids mysteriously start going missing at the entertainment hub he runs with his business partner William (im thinking like a regular freddys but in a space mall kinda thing?) This is just a prototype, a new type of SecUnit that is specifically designed to watch over children. As Henry describes it: a SecPup will be a unique, fully customizable personal unit to any family, and because they are a construct with organic components they will be able to personally bond with your child. They are each specially crafted with the highest paternal instincts, strong enough to lift a vehicle and gentle enough to apply a bandaid to a scraped knee. Your unit will stop at nothing to protect its charge, because it will love them.

I'm wondering now if I have a bond with James, too, like... I went and read through my journal entries from the time that we were together, and I was always talking about how easy it was to see him. How I dreamt about him all the time. I was crazy about him.

And in fact, the reason I stopped seeing him wasn't because I lost interest, but because I was afraid of the connection I had to him. I remember him being all I could think about. I remember how it felt like everything around me was changing, how I was changing. And I panicked and told him that we should take a break. And then I didn't feel his presence around me anymore. It was shocking how I had felt so strongly for him one day, and then when I asked to take a break, I just didn't feel him at all. I remember just. sitting there and being like, "Wow. He is really just. Not here anymore."

And then I didn't feel him again until I started seeing Charlie. And then came the dreams of him asking me to take him back. Telling me that we had something beautiful and we should be together again. He wasn't even asking me to leave Charlie, he just wanted to see me again. And I turned him down. Every time I told him that I was only seeing Charlie. And he just kept trying. He didn't give up.

I'm just... idk. I'm gonna have to do some soul searching I think.
