More g/t stories with dating apps and awkward first dates please! I want mixed societies with humans and giants living together. I want the main characters to match on an app and think “ooh, you’re my person and perfect in every way”, only for them to meet in real life and realize “oh shoot there’s a huge height difference”. I want awkward to the max — The giant trying so hard to be gentle and not scary but the tiny is very taken aback and has no clue what to do. I want the giant to be so smitten, and so is the tiny but they just need a bit more time to adjust to everything. Been thinking about Willy. He's an awful, shitty dude. And in AMoD, it's implied that he was pretty awful as a child. Killing cats and generally being horrible to Stud.

But I've been thinking. This child's father drank himself to death. And who knows what happened to Willy's mom. I don't remember her being mentioned at all. And then his uncle just disappears. What a crap hand to be dealt.

I don't think it excuses his behavior. He could very well be a born psychopath. But it certainly reinforces the idea of generational trauma. Which is amplified in Willy. Because his behavior is affecting all of these families (and the Doodler), not just his own. His desire to live forever is now impacting Scary. And I'm fully convinced that he intends for her to die so that he can live.

(Side note: Isn't the Doodler his patron? I don't think someone would have to have a great relationship with their patron for it to work, but I wouldn't think he'd be able to actively work against them either... What is his relationship to the Doodler???)

I'm just really curious how this is all gonna play out.

Have any of you guys realized spotify changed the song "Naatu Naatu" from telugu to hindi and now it's called "Naacho Naacho"??? Like, the original version which won an Academy Award for best song just totally disappeared from the platform. And, even though it still appears as Naatu Naatu on my playlists, the song, lyrics, and even cover is totally different.

Now, I don't speak either telugu or hindi, but Naatu Naatu is still a banger, and I know it's the first song in telugu to win the award. Also, the whole point of the song is ethnicity and resisting colonialism through their language and costumes.

I don't know why it's changed, I don't know what's going on, and the whole thing looks fishy to me.
