SEONGHWA : I love kpop girlgroups, so when I found a new group was debuting I checked out their music and when I watched the Ponzona mv for the choreo it was love on first sight & The album that I bought immediately after and got me my very first photo card of Yn! (It’s still behind my phone)

SAN : I saw a video of her on twitter which was so cute that I just had to know who it was & my Yn chibi plushy, it’s unofficial fan made merch but it’s adorable

MINGI : It was an accident honestly! I was going to check out my friends performance so I joined the line outside the building, nobody questioned me being there so I didn’t know I was at wrong place until I realized that I was standing in line for a fan sign, I thought just leaving would be rude so I stayed and my breath was taken away when I met Yn! & A t-shirt with their logo, it’s fashionable and comfortable as fuck!

i love choosing muses that aren’t very. canonically fleshed out. it gives me a lot of opportunity to make them into my own ig :3

raikov is generally a pretty blank slate besides the little we know about him ( being violent / sadistic, being in love with volgin, u kno ) and i think he's potentially a really interesting character from what little we see of him. im personally not ascribed to the eva theory bc i think its kinda silly and robs him of a lot of his personal agency, but it is a common theory, so i kinda wanted to build up a characterisation that was more. faithful to canon rather than fanon u kno. plus sometimes my autism just latches onto specific random characters for no reason and in this case it was raikov JDSFHDFKJ my partner loves raiden and when we were scrolling his wiki page for the funnies obviously raikov's page comes up at the top as a "maybe you meant this" and i just kept coming back to him

fluff angst smut grins. they just come a lot easier to me, especially angst because i always have a LOT to say about silly little internal thought processes and i love writing sadness and pain ^-^ it makes me very gleeful ironically jdkhfdjhg i get very emotionally invested in angst especially. smut is a little bit harder? kinda like with combat ironically it heavily relies on the input of both parties but i do feel for the most part its pretty open ended fun :3

i just know. BUT NO SERIOUSLY sometimes it's just Vibes, sometimes it's through reading canon stuff and linking it back to my backstory for him, sometimes it's through interactions with others. there's a lot :3 i do put a lot of thought into my headcanons though, maybe like. too much lmao. but i enjoy it i really love doing a lot of analysis to get to my headcanons

a bit of both ! rn i'm writing in silence and i think last night i was mostly writing in silence on my phone and then listening to music while i finished stuff on pc. i think it depends ? sometimes i just get really distracted when listening to music and end up completely neglecting actually writing HDFJGHED so i think overall i prefer silence, or something in the background that i've already seen before so i don't need to pay much attention to it

dumb reasons i've clicked off of a fic because i take 'don't like dont read' very seriously (a not comprehensive list)

besides the obvious formatting (no space between paragraphs/no paragraph breaks/weird quotations)

author used. too many parentheses (it was a good fic i just couldn't stomach it my head hurts

si/oc was some variation of short/skinny/petite (VERY COMMON) (worlds first skinniephobe)

mc was too basic/had bad fashion taste (ALSO VERY COMMON)

mc has no critical thinking skills (too frustrating it makes me hate mc)

that one bnha fic that assigned 1-A greek god code names EXCEPT THEY WERE ALL WRONG???? first of all kirishima was hephaestus when OBVIOUSLY MOMO WOULD BE???? istg then shinsou was hades which. whatever but it doesn't fit. denki as apollo made me click off. it was obv they were some fucking - [i am dragged away by myself editing this as i do not want to offend anyone]

currently we deep in the k-pop trenches, collecting lil blorbos with compelling narratives and dynamics to smack together like dolls. specifically i've been writing for Seventeen lately, and previously for TXT and BTS, and because i am me, i write niche inter-band shit and collected a couple soloists to throw in for seasoning.

What are your top 5 fics by kudos?

Addicted (to loving you) (Teen Wolf scott/stiles. no, idk either. please don't read it.)

pictures in frames of kisses on cheeks (checkpls bitty/jack/kent. pure fluff no substance the people love it)

love doesn't come in boxes (checkpls bitty/jack)

something good and right and real (hockey rpf benn/seguin, cowritten with @aperfect20)

yes, all the time! it takes negligible time and brain power for me, and i like to let people know how much i appreciated hearing their thoughts, even when it was just a thank you and then we're in a lil awkward thanking circle.

What is a fic you wrote with the angstiest ending?

ok, i think it just has to be a tie between "only time is ours" and "34 Days", which are check please kent/jack fics about the same pre-canon break-up events, the first from jack's pov and the second from kent's (tho iirc they have different interpretations of events beyond the pov switch, too). they are inherently angsty bc absolutely nothing is good at the end of them.

What’s the fic you wrote with the happiest ending?

this is so hard to decide, bc i primarily write romcoms and by the end of them if your teeth aren't rotting i did it wrong. i will give a shoutout to "doesn't matter what we do", a bts jimin/j-hope that is all about just Letting Urself Be Soulmates and then grossing out ur bandmates about it.

Do you get hate on fics?

no, thank god.

Do you write smut?

yes i have been known to write filth. sometimes the romcom plot calls for it. i'm horrible at pwp bc i'm always giving it plot, but u kno, sometimes the spirit moves me and i manage it.

Do you write crossovers? What’s the craziest one you’ve written?

crossovers of fandoms that have nothing to do with each other actually kind of squick me - i'm talking crossovers where characters who have never and will never meet are there for no reason (think superwholock tbh, tho i was uncharacteristically a lil into that at the time), not fusions or big universes with diff shows or whatever. it's just not for me!

but in terms of things where it's less drastic (crossing over bands in k-pop, for example) i am all over that, bc there's interesting stuff from real life there! my craziest example atm is a baekho/jun fic, and like, it's not that crazy!

Have you ever had a fic stolen?

i don't think so!

Have you ever had a fic translated?

yes, it's always so awesome that someone wants to take the time to do that.

Have you ever co-written a fic before?

yessssss, my favourite way to create fic.

What’s your all-time favorite ship?

this is an extremely insensitive thing to ask a ship whore like me. there are some ships that REALLY set my brain on fire over the years, though. check pls kent/jack drives me insane to this day. harry styles/nick grimshaw was So compelling. 2012 oilers "kid line" (nugent-hopkins/hall/eberle) went off.

often fandom really makes these ships worth it to talk about and inspires me to contribute. i am often very compelled by one character in particular and just ship them with everyone possible so i can examine all their sides.

What’s a wip you want to finish, but doubt you ever will?

hmmmm if i WANT to finish it, i probably will. there are things that i ended up abandoning, though. one of those i'm still kinda sad about was a dylan/mitch/auston sequel to my connor/rystro.

What are your writing strengths?

i write realistic dialogue and i'm great at characterization (shoutout to the mean comment i got circa 2010 telling me to get good at characterization. i did. thanks.) my voice has always been strong, too.

What are your writing weaknesses?

i sometimes slack on depicting the interior emotions of characters. i'm not great with setting or exposition because the brand of fanfic i tend to write isn't a great place to practice those skills. i try to find places to do it, though!

Thoughts on writing dialogue in another language for a fic?

it's the norm in k-pop fandom to drop in localization things like honorifics, and i like it because it can communicate relationships between the characters and so that it's not SO divorced from the context the idols actually live in. this is such a weirdly specific question, idk what else to say about it lmao

Favorite fic you’ve written?

choosing between my children? ok. at the moment i'm quite fond of too real to call it magic, a contemporary fantasy au where the main character is stuck in a dream. i felt really good about what i did with the themes and setting of the source material (a mv, so you're only 3mins and a quick google of the main characters' names away from reading this fic!) and the way i developed the relationship. it's underrated af bc it's a niche pairing.

tbh i dont really like tomrey that much (or most tommy ships for that matter sorry). if i made a tierlist of hlvr ships itd probably be at the bottom. i dont think theyre horrible or whatever i can see why people like them i just dont like best friend ships that much </3 i think their dynamic is funnier if benreys like "this is my best friend tommy were best friends" and tommys like "who are you !" u kno...

i also think its kinda funny if tommy doesnt like anyone in the science team and is constantly trying to minorly inconvenience them so they kick him out its so fucking funny to think about!! they do become friends in my post rescas scenario though because benrey gets ina qpr with darnold and tommy finds out about it (thats also how the rest of the cast finds out about benrey being back. by darnold telling them hes in a qpr with benrey. gordons pissed about it)

I’m loving all the twt ppls hating on the dramas plot, pacing whatever cause it just isn’t their style yeah we kno the real reason why it’s not your style, but they’ll still watching cause his acting is amazing (Omg is itttt???? shocking) and to support the actors. don’t make me laugh anymore lollllll you all know your fantasy fucked it up. 😔play stupid games (ship random asian men together bc u have cum 4 brains) win stupid prizes (being mad at an unreleased drama). like if everyone just went into this excited to see the big moose in action there would be a lot less drama!!!! even tho it is bat shit to watch them fight over the most milquetoast of the group i can't say i'm not having fun rooting for junghyun and actively hoping taeyoung gets jumped. i doubt it will go that way but it NEEDS to. plus there's infinite entertainment in the eatage of leo's acting alone. like the musical acting industry is exclusive for a reason i'm afraid

okay tldr im just kinda ... eye twitch at that whole parter LOL

like ehrhgh. SO preface: i think its always the case with "cliff hangers" wherein the reason why they fall flat so often is, like, if the actual cliffhanger itself is so... perfunctory. like they just do it because they felt like they had to leave us hanging on some tense situation - but the thing is, like? you dont NEED to orchestrate that, man; you already had our attention. so its so stupid then if like... they just resolve the situation in 0.2 seconds in the next episode. but its like yknow... its sth a lot of shows do unncessarily and ultimately if it is just a really weird blip when transitioning between eps its like. whatever.

BUT thats all to say... the end of s3 COULD have been a good use of a cliffhanger, yeah? because it's establishing, like, a pretty specific situation with longer lasting consequences than just saving someone from immediate danger in the first scene. but then they FUMBLEDDD ti like...

ough you set up sth genuinely kinda neat. i dont know why they walked it back so fast AND also made the things they did right less effective. like they open up s4 with john sooo alone and its genuinelykinda tragic but then by the end of the ep chiana's already back and its like so what... and then they all IMMEDIATELY reconnect next ep and its like- they dont even really get a proper freaking reaction, when its implied john's been out there alone for god knows how long on a dying ship like... its like nothing happened and

its like. i just feel like if ur not going to utilise the situations you construct - bc this is fiction, and you do construct the situations - why.... construct them? bc if you were gonna reunite everyone with so few consequences, we could have instead spent more time where it was worth instead. but no... and tbh that makes the cliffhanger thing even WORSE bc now u have to waste time walking it back to reset it... and its also a loss of momentum, you know? like- i know im bingeing this, so its a different viewing experience so maybe momentum isnt the right word, but yeah...i guess it just sort of sets the expectations and tone totally out of whack with what they initially establish and not in a good/intentional way

especiallyyyy bc then these two eps after ep 1... arghh!! bc of that they already are building off a strange foundation - but then with these, everything feels so rushed and sloppy. i genuinely had to check- did they kno abt cancellation, pre-production? bc i thought they were trying to speed through it but... naur, like...

farscape in the past has been one of the few shows to pull off the "just fucking throw EVERYTHING IN THERE!" bc it knows how to move quickly, and matter of factly but here its just like... stuff was just weak. i think, usually, when it DOES introduce a lot fast it knows how to really build them up. it uses super simple concepts and then layers them really well. here, not so much... i feel like the whole planet situation was, eh, contrived? is that the best word for it? its introducing a lot of weird mechanics to how it works- and maybe that'd be fine, usually, but again with everything else going on its like they introduce way too much, too fast. like oo-nii, also- i really loved the design, actually, loved the colour, but also kinda a really strange addition in here.

and i hthink its worsened with grammy granola grime bc i SAID I LIKED HER, I DO, but ive always felt with the more "spiritual aspects" (for lack of a better word) such as stark and zhaan they come close but also they kinda ... dont... pull it off ever. SORRY lol. i mean stark- actually stark did have some really good stuff in his first introduction, but i feel like its always so ill-defined in the bad way where it sort of feels like their nebulous abilities are used moreso to plaster over places in stories where they didnt know what to do rather than an actual exploration into something more interesting . like theres always a very shaky core to them- and that kinda sucks, bc you do NEED something even if you are trying to go for mystery or surrealism bc theres a difference between that and just kinda. yeah. anyways

thats all to say like. all of these issues and again entrenching some really important and heavy subject matter... EEK...!

like even just the minor shit. jool and d'argo. eh, man. just burnt through the whole damn thing in this ep... OK, LOL. IDC ABOUT IT? sorry... i just think its so weird how they handle other romances bc johnaeryn are so fucking organic and well-paced and claudia and ben do such a good job with the intimacy between them that just makes it real as fuck whereas like... everyone else is strange, man... eh. why'd you do it. come on man. its a shame bc i praised them in s1 bc they were pretty normal about zhaan and d'argo- kinda saying "oh, there's tension sometimes but otherwise its like eh theyre not super into it theyre just chilling as friends tbh" which is a dynamic that i actually find refreshing tbh... the more casual nature of it, yeah? as its told moreso through subtext and interactions whereas its like man what the fuck. everything with dargo otherwise has been, like, just so tell not show wtf...

and the major shit. i know the confirmation that jool's species are related to humans somehow is important. but its like... amongst this whole ep that whole thing really didnt have any impact bc like i said. its kinda all over. uhm. idk how i feel abt that. uhm well ... i dont like it. ok. SORRY. LOL.

but thats less so about it being done here even if it wasnt so good andmoreso i dont really want... them to be related... i dont know. what i liked about farscape was how it treated humans- john was never something special in the way trek always put "HUMANITTYYY" on a pedestal and forced the universe through human's perspective and culture and morality etc.... i really fucking hope it isnt some, like, "humans are their great ancestors" type of thing, that'd be the worst - ive had enough of that through shitty dw fan theories

and also just, like, in general ughghghg i DONT LIKE it when like.. there's a whole univers,e yes? its so infinitely huge and... well idk if it's coincedental, yet, but i dont like how small it makes the universe feel when it just so happensss that its humans like... AGAIN i think it detracts from whats established already, about how crichton is so far away from everything hes ever known ... it makes everything so much smaller in perspective and its just... ssorry to 🤓 but its soo 🤓unrealistic! What makes me happy about them:

What makes me sad about them:

That they may never see each other again at the end of the show, but then that's a generally quite miserable finale for everyone, isn't it?

Things done in fanfic that annoys me:

It doesn't annoy me as *such* but I do get very confused by the extensive detailled fanon about what's in Garak's pants, like sometimes I'm reading a fic and I have to stop and go "wait, what did he just put into his whatever that is?"

Things I look for in fanfic:

Horrible darkness, but I think more people are into it being sweet and fluffy which is also good but less my jam. I just want the odd bit of murder sometimes!

My wishlist:

Something about the war crimes. I feel like the war crimes are under-utilised in fic, though I can see why. I don't know how I'd approach that without having to break them up over it and nobody wants that. But I mean Julian is very (VERY) given to righteous indignation about things, and the war crimes are RIGHT THERE and it seems like that would be An Issue for them eventually.

Who I’d be comfortable them ending up with, if not each other:

I don't really mind who they end up with. I mean, there's ships I prefer, but most of them have some sort of issue involved, like how you can't make Miles/Julian happen without fucking over the rest of the O'Brien family, u kno?

like lester bangs seemed to prefer raw power over funhouse and i def think theyre both masterpieces of albums but like nothing will ever beat the insane bottom end that is funhouse. tho also the fact that i dont even like own a legit raw power cd and just have the rough power cd like ugh i neeeed to get some! not gonna get the columbia CK catalog number one til i see it in the wild hopefully for v cheap since i kno CK catalog columbia US CDs tend to be masted p badly and never have a particularly strong sound which for this specific album is like a death sentence tbh. but id also need one to actually compare if some of the european CDs like the CBS one and the essential castle communications are actually different masters or just copies of the columbia CK one. honestly those three are probably the only id get. like dont seem that interested in the 1996 or 97 idk iggy mix cause u kno like may as well just stick to rough power even tho it has u kno shoddy quality but yea. like the iggy mix has too many problems for me to imagine myself having any reason to pick it up. cause honestly i wanan get the 3 releases that are of interest to me (the US columbia CK catalog number one, the european CBS one and the european essential records/castle communications one) but like after having them for a while ill probably eventually decide which to get rid of and which is the best master of the original bowie mix. obv NOT gonna be thee CK one cause id only be getting that to compare u kno to make sure that like the european CDs actually are different masters (if they are which i actually dontkno at all im convinced they are or atleast the castle one cause castle communcations tends to sound different and release stuff on its own schedule compared to whatever other labels release i have safe as milk on CD by them and like ive heard ppl say its not a great master compared to later 90s releases n stuff and also to another master castle did and bundled w/ mirror man but like despite that it still has a strong sound imo the only weakness being its like not a master tape or anything but like rly sounds strong imo then also shortly had kinks kontroversy on cd from that label and that was also a strong sounding master like none of the thin sound stuff that u experience from some 80s CD masters). my moneys on the castle CD sounding better than the CBS one rn but ya guess id have to get both and see T-T kinda been waiting for it to appear on ebay shipping from US for cheap but honestly doubt thats gonna happen so probably gonna have to just wait til any1 lists it and gets it. i think if i wanna start my lesterbangsification for real im gonna have to be blasting raw power n stuff. already was listening to metal box daily in high school senior year and then 70s miles davis so much around pandemic time so like im halfway there lol. dude im so much like lester bangs its actually kinda crazyyyy

When I say I dislike family headcanons, especially parent / children ones, it's not just me disliking them because I started shipping them prior to headcanons (though I must admit this is never a good feeling lmao) or me hating the fandom having fun, but they make me deeply uncomfortable and I want absolutely nothing to do with them most of the time

I don't take afterlife smp very seriously, idc about the jokes implying they're related that fwhip joel and co does because it's not like I'm invested in the lore since this server isn't lore based.

Because in one joke they will say they adopt Jimmy and in the next one they make a sex dungeon joke of some shit like this, because it's not like they're taking it too seriously either, they're just friends making jokes together and inevitably these jokes happens and yeah! They make me laugh! As jokes

I honestly just make my own canon (or not since I just draw random shit usually) based of the characters and some of the settings, and unless they specifically say "yes this is my son canonically" I won't be treating Jimmy as such.

hi I just want to let u kno. I never really shipped Scott with anyone. Dott is lowkey cute. Scourtney was fun. but your scoeyposting sold me. it's just so interesting and i always liked their conflict towards the end of roti (and i like how you talked about that) I do have one question (if that's okay!! Feel free to ignore) but: how do you feel about scott and Zoey in tdas? cuz personally I like that zoey apologizes to scott for eliminating him in ep12 and they had a couple of moments where Zoey shows concern for him. however I know it's a different dynamic than their interactions in roti. so, thoughts? and do you prefer TDAS scoey or TDROTI scoey?

see, i don't love all stars scott as a character? he feels... super different from roti scott, and not in the way of like... he experienced character development and growth, but more in the sense that the writers dumbed him down and put him into more of a comic relief role to make mal look better. which is also something they did with the majority of the antagonists, which does a disservice to all of the characters. rather than making mal a more formidable antagonist, they just make their actually good antagonists worse. but i digress. like, yes scott got the brunt of a bit of slapstick/physical humor in roti (something a lot of td antagonists get, tbh), but idk. i don't like how they essentially made him just... the butt of a ton of jokes in all stars, with no real like... good moments.

there are a few good qualities of all stars scott, but he's a lot less interesting to me there? i feel like there was a natural way for him to progress post-roti into less of an antagonist and more of just . a bit of a jerk? like... the dude went through some shit! he absolutely could've reflected and mellowed out a tad. and i did like the zoey scott interactions in all stars, but again... i didn't love zoey much in all stars, either? i preferred her in the back episode of roti, specifically the two without mike (one of which was like . the basis for my scoey shipping, so...).

like, i like mike, and i like zoey (not to the degree i like a lot of other td characters, but still), but like... (and this is not a hot take by any means, it's been said to death at this point) when they're in a room together all of their individual interesting traits are sucked out of them, and this is MUCH more of an annoyance to me in all stars than it was in roti for some reason?? obviously this is more of a "td writers" problem than a mike and zoey in general problem, and i do like the idea of a dynamic between them, written by people who know how to make them not just.... revolve around each other!! but because zoey's storyline centered around mike and mal in all stars iirc she was just . not super memorable to me in that season the way she was in roti for being like. a dick SJDlSDFL.

so like.... i wouldn't say i'm a fan of all stars scoey because all stars scott has a lot of the qualities of him that i saw in zoey that made me want to ship them like... super diluted with no explanation? and zoey doesn't really get her own moments to like... have character traits?

but then at the same time, i don't think they're ready for a relationship during roti's run. so ideally, it'd be a post-roti setting with consistent characterization and development. but this is total drama we're talking about here, so it's really no wonder we didn't get that lmao.
