t, i loved your comparisons of gojo/shoko/geto as a piano trio. if i could maybe offer an alternative viewpoint, one that isn't neatly tied up but i think fits their (at least high school) personalities better

1. geto's absolutely cello coded, you nailed it on the head. no thoughts there

2. gojo is also violin coded, i would maybe argue that he can be piano coded but i'm a pianist so i see a lot of pianistic qualities about him. pianists are often singled out, since we're not quite part of an orchestra, but we operate independently and are responsible for so many instruments to show off. also, the amount of solo piano rep is pretty much infinite, no one can possibly comprehend how much music there exists for pianists. the solo and isolating nature of the piano also lends itself quite well to gojo's personality, being that he's the "honored one" - gojo would be an infuriatingly good solo pianist, completely untouchable and godlike

3. imma be honest - shoko's more of a viola to me than piano. violas are often overlooked, but their range in between violin and cellos is so so important. also they read alto clef comfortably, which confuses violinists (read: gojo being confused by reversed cursed technique initially). there's also not many violists compared to violin and cello (supply is low, demand is high though). when a viola has a melody, the darkness it carries in its timbre i think matches shoko really well

for the sake of a piano trio, i'm with you there. i just personally see that trio as all string players 👍🏼

and NOOO omg tbh i have NO idea about anything relating to a viola, hell i’ve never even played in an orchestra before or done shows bc im more of a beginner but YES! i was trying to find something for shoko and i tried to fit it into the piano but it didn’t really fit that well, but i could see some qualities of her that could be compared to a piano. the overlooked part yes yes! it mirrors that part of the manga where she mentioned “i was there too, you dumbass”, referring to gojo’s and geto’s whole shebang and how geto was her friend too, no matter how much jjk’s whole story sort of revolves around stsg’s conflict. also alto clef is insane!!! i have no idea how to convert it lolol and that detail of gojo being confused by her technique is so yum! can’t believe i didn’t see that before. i would also note that shoko’s RCT is not that rare but also not that common, coming back to your point on supply vs demand! and yess, shoko’s morbid personality really fits the viola as well - but i’m not that well versed in violas or viola repertoire to comment much <3 BUT THANK U 4 UR INPUT

Shakespeare took great delight in confusing the audience about gender, and I’m gonna give you just two examples because I’m waiting for take-out. 

The famous best example is Twelfth Night, in which a male actor dresses up as Viola, a young woman who dresses up as a young man who falls in love with another man and who is loved by another woman (who is played by a man). 

[In Shakespeare’s time women where not allowed to be actors.]

But my personal favorite is Othello, when Desdemona’s maid explains women behave badly because they learned all that shit from men, and then you remember both women are being played by men, so the whole scene is really men holding up a mirror and saying “take a long ass look”.

Shakespeare used the singular “they” centuries before it became the target of a cultural war, and it’s funny the OP should cite Macbeth because that’s where Shakespeare wrote “Unsex me here” ffs (take out is late). 

I could do a whole class lecture on Beatrice’s “O God, that I were a man! I would eat his heart in the market-place.” scene and lemme tell you, you would not be sorry. But my pot pie is here so Imma let you go.

-i think in both eras his wardrobe is comprised of royal colors: dark reds and purples and blues. he's full of rich colors like that- it's like a spectacle that's so pompous, while the person wearing them is kinda.... well, grantaire

-modern era grantaire hoards bottles and cans. he has like stacks of cans from seltzer drinks (think white claw) and beers and bottles of wine and liquor just... everywhere. there's a closet that is just littered with them. they're shoved into shoes and crammed together. it's kind of gross and awful. bossuet and joly wanna clean out his apartment so bad, but grantaire is weirdly a hoarder when it comes to bottles and refuses to toss them until it's too overwhelming. then the cycle just repeats

-canon era grantaire was trained in piano and viola at a young age, but decided not to follow it into his adult life. sometimes when he's drunk, he'll tap out a piano melody with his fingers that's been reduced down to muscle memory

-there are birthday decorations in modern grantaire's apartment from a surprise party joly held for him 4 years ago. they're still there- he never took them down. it's really just a few streamers and severely deflated balloons taped to the walls

combeferre:

-he has a lazy eye. it isn't that severe and people don't notice it unless he's really tired- that's when it gets more obvious

-modern combeferre doesn't wear a lot of jewelry because he works in hospitals, but he has this really nice watch he got after his dad died and he keeps that think in pristine condition. it's from like the 30s and combeferre spends a ridiculous amount of money on watch preservation and servicing

-combeferre is also ambidextrous, leaning left-handedness

-because of that, his canon era letters exchanged with enjolras are typically smudged with ink in the worst way possible. enjolras has become really keen at deciphering some things. this also translates well into modern era:

-modern combeferre is the messiest texter. he's really not worried with typos so his messages get a little funky and always look mildly drunk. once again, enjolras is actually really good at figuring what the fuck he's trying to say. it's like reading court minutes shorthand

What do you remember from the hospital

I'm sorta embarrassed to admit it still creeps me out.

I remember there weren't a lot of actual doctors n' nurses. Viola's 'spposed to work with like.. surgeries and whatnot. Someone higher up apparently "assigned" her to me - don't know what that means, but it made it where no other doctors or staff or nothin' was allowed into my room apart from her an' Flower. If any of the other celestials want to see me, they had to go 'round the entire building! Maybe that's why only Furnoss or Attmoz visited. I can't see th' rest being all too happy about that much walkin'.

I kinda wonder why they chose her out of every other monster. Maybe it's 'cause she doesn't really care about anything. Maybe I should'a questioned why seein' a God didn't scare her. Flower was definitely frightened! I felt kinda bad, honestly.

From what else I can remember, I think I was awake during a sort of "reconstruction" as Viola called it. If you're sorta squeamish, I wouldn't recommend readin' the next two paragraphs imma type-

Basically, my body didn't deteriorate or rot in any way after dying because it sort of expected me t' come back to life. Since I wasn't able to, and my "celestial healing abilities" or somethin' weren't all too strong, I was just in a weird pause. After Attmoz's spark of life, and after I was in th' hospital, Viola had to put me back together. From what Furnoss said, the fire took away a lot of myself.

I had t' have something called a 'skin graph' where they moved healthy skin t' spots on me where I didn't have any skin at all. I call these parts of me patches 'cause the words "scarring" or "bald spots" just kinda make me feel bad. I know it aint for everyone, though. As for my eye, apparently, it had long since started rotting, so it got removed completely. I have a sort of hole there, now, as I can't exactly regrow it. I don't need t' wear my bandages there anymore, but I still do.

I.. remember how scared the rest were when they saw me. It was like they saw a ghost or a zombie. I know they're young and don't really understand, but it hurt a lot to think that they saw something in me that was enough to almost run them out of th' hospital. Attmoz bein' there helped a lot, though, and explaining what all the machines hooked up to me did seemed to calm 'em down.

Loodvigg was there, too. Seeing Galvana try an' approach them made me feel the same way I had back at the castle.

It was real uncomfortable when Attmoz left. I was moved to another room to try and get a bit more privacy, but all the machines came with me.

The beds were uncomfortable, the lights, the sounds, the medicines, the needles - I hated all of it. I feel like a baby saying this, but sometimes it would overwhelm me til I started t' tear up. Flower brought me headphones, though, and that helped sometimes.

I know all of it was for the better, but I ain't ever going back to that damn place. Not anytime soon, at least.

are you named after anyone? my first name is original to me (in my family obvs), it’s a common name with an uncommon spelling and I have a very uncommon nickname! My middle name is my paternal grandmother’s, who I never knew but seems like she was pretty amazing.

when was the last time you cried? I haven’t had a full-out weep in a while but I get teary all the time. When I was talking to my husband this morning about the impact of my new meds and realizing how fucking compromised I’ve been, now that the fog is starting to lift. I got teary.   

do you have kids? well it’s in the name! Yes, I do. I have three human kids and two cats. 

do you use sarcasm a lot? I do some? I’m super SUPER concrete so it’s difficult for me, because It often just feels mean and I cannot handle that. It’s taken me 23 years with my husband to be able to bicker/banter in that way, because he’s the person I trust the absolute most in the world, and I know he would never be mean to me. My kids often will spell it out for me (IT’S A JOKE MOM).

what’s the first thing you notice about people? smile

what’s your eye colour? It says blue on my driver’s license but I do have some center heterochromia so I have a ring of yellow around my pupil.

scary movies or happy endings? oh I am way way WAAAAY too anxious to handle seriously scary movies. I cannot do horror. I do, however, deeply enjoy natural disaster films, especially involving asteroids or volcanos. I always want a happy ending though. I’m well-aware that reality doesn’t always give us that, so I like it from my entertainment.

any special talents? I’m pretty musical, I have a good ear and a decent enough voice. I play violin, viola, some piano and was doing guitar for a while but kind of lost momentum.

where were you born? Large city in the midwest of the US!

what are your hobbies? too many omg. Knitting, sewing, photography, reading, writing (obvs), taking classes (my husband has BANNED me from any more degrees goddamnit), music...

do you have any pets? two cats and three kids!

what sports do you play/have you played? I am... let’s call it, not really an organized sports kinda of pal. I studied martial arts for about 10 years, I’ve done a LOT of yoga, running, barre, recreational skiing. Oh wait, I swam on the swim team for a few years as a kid but that was approximately 8 billion years ago. I played soccer for literally one day, but my god. So much running. 

how tall are you? 5′ 4.5″ and I’m the fucking shortest one in my family

favourite subject at school: honestly I love to learn, and if the teacher is good, I’ll be into It. I took some philosophy classes in college that absolyutely blew my mind wide open and changed me as a person. I loved research design, psychopathology, my counseling classes in my MA and PhD. I fucking love statistics SO MUCH. Like, a lot. Linear algebra was super fun. In my MS program, I really enjoyed my research design classes, my quant class, my digital behavior data class, text as data is cool but the prof was not so good, and my causal inference class was incredible. I’m taking data ethics right now which is so fun except for how the entire class is, you know, wrong. So, I guess I just really love a lot of things.

dream job: realisitcally, a data ethicist in health care resarch. If I could get paid and health insurance to sit around and read and get spa treatments, well, I’d definitely do that. I’ve learned that I actually really do not want to be paid for the hobbies I do for enjoyment (crafting, photography, writing etc), as it completely saps the joy from it for me.

ANSWER:

Tate was responsible on giving Human Travelers a "Tour" and "allowing them to travel alongside her to roam around the Jade Country", Tate stands by on Stations or Checkpoints on each areas of the Jade Country.

Human Travelers get to be tasked and tested by Tate with an EASY challenge which is to search for a "Emerald Crystal" in order to call her. "Only, Humans with good heart and intentions are allowed in to pass the entrance of the Jade Country"

After obtaining and found the stone, The Human Travelers must look for a CHECKPOINT for them to place the crystal to a Crystallized Tree like bark on its center. Once the Crystal is placed, there the green light from the crystal will gleam from Tate's mark signaling her, A human wishes to explore the Jade Country.

2. What did Viola and Prisma do to the "mysterious man" that have summoned them?

ANSWER:

After serving and made the man's petty desire, power hungry thirst for governance, and ambition came true, The duo betrayed him.

Viola did the gruesome part by killing the man infront of other humans, While Prisma unleashes a DEADLY STORM and A TSUNAMI wiping all the man's servants that fought along side him.

Because of Prisma and Viola's actions on killing humans which leads them falling from grace on their role as the Deities of the Jade Country.

BREAKING AND BENDING THE RULES, of their OWN realm, REBELLING, MISBEHAVING, COMMITING TREASONS AND MORE OTHER MISDEED and MISDEMEANOUROUS actions both upon the MORTAL WORLD AND THE JADE COUNTRY.

3. What is your Y/N's nature as a person? And What is she like when it comes to seeking the dream or goal she desire on meeting mystical / mythical creatures?

ANSWER :

My Y/N in this Au is an adventurous curious gal. She have this belief that every mystical creatures she reads from books, stories, and history are real. Of all humans hating and fear the Denizens of the Jade Country, only a few beliefs they exist and they are still out there somewhere, Y/N disagree on some of the people around her that keep telling her stories that the Deities are fake and some tells her they're dangerous and they kill humans like them.

She have this imaginative mind, that she never ignores and she was eager to search, look and meet one or more of this fascinating mysterious creatures personally. She wants to see it with on her own eyes. To figure out what is truth behind the story of the Forest Deities.

4. Why did Winter go for an "Hibernation"?

ANSWER :

Winter mysteriously undergoes Hibernation, with a unknown reason only Snowy knows, Why.

As The Merman slumbers under the depths of the Cerulean Lake inside his home, in a Bubble.

One of those possible reasons why, Winter fallen asleep because he doesn't want to hear anymore of humanity's negative opinions about him and his fellow forest Deities friends.

Or he was hiding from Viorel, And Winter fears Viorel what he is capable to do, he doesn't want Viorel to hurt his remaining Merfolk family and friends if he refuses to come to him. He made a heavy decision by sealing himself away.

5. Are there other creatures that are higher ranks than the "Denizen of The Jade Country"? Like Elders, Ancient Beings etc.

ANSWER:

hmmmm-- you mean like higher beings? i mean the whole denizens in the JADE COUNTRY are all DEITIES, although there could be only less propability if there is still a surviving "ELDER" or "ANCIENT BEING" governs some hidden areas of each habitats of the JADE COUNTRY.
