Hi!

I think I have to move on.

You may have noticed that all of a sudden my posts have become less and less frequent. That's not on purpose I simply don't have the motivation to keep this ask blog going. I made this blog at the peak of my TADC hyperfixation because I knew it would give me the boost to work. At the start I made like, what? 2 a day, wowzas! Then it became like every other day posts. It's not that I don't enjoy the blog, the ship, the asks. Hell, the asks were the best part of this, I love just seeing what you guys come up with for these three and I get to do the even more fun part of drawing the answer.

But I still have no motivation to keep this going. And I have fixated on something else if you follow my main.

So, thank you for being here and still liking my posts even if I hadn't posted often. This was the most fun I've had and being my first ask blog I ever created just makes it more important to me.

I probably won't ever revive this blog but I'll keep it open for you. And if you want to see what the story I originally planned out was gonna be then check below the cut! I'm not gonna lie. Most of the stuff was just created along the way of drawing. I was like, huh this would be cool let's add that in. And ofc I didn't get to any juicy lore in this but it would've been rushed because I didn't plan beforehand... which you probably could tell xd

For Pomni, here's the plot twist: she's dead and her conscience was updated into the game to keep her somewhat alive. She worked in the place that created the game, she even took part in putting people in there. The entire game was just an expirement to test if immortality was possible, but of course.. everyone goes insane in there so they have to keep on and keep on trying with more and more people to get anywhere. They wait until someone goes to edge of absolute insanity and that's when they take them out of the game, their bodies are still kept alive and they go back to normal. They forget everything that happened while in the game. For Pomni she died just after her conscience was converted to the game, for others they were forced to go while alive. Who killed Pomni? Well, her boss, the head of the experimentation. Why? Idk 😭

For Jax, I gave him a dark story. He was isolated in his home and kept away from the outside world, which is why he lacks empathy, because he simply doesn't know how to feel that way when he never really had knowledge of emotions outside or even inside his home. His father was emotionally and physically ab4sive so.. that didn't help. He latched onto his mother the most but they never saw eachother often. That's all I had for him in mind.

For Ragatha, she lived in the country on her own land with her husband. Yup! She had a husband and a daughter too. Husband was a total jerk and she couldn't leave because she didn't want their kid to experience separated parents. She's a doll in the game because it resembles the doll she made for her daughter.

I also had some plot that I made up in my mind. Like.... Pomni at the end would be the last one alone in the digital circus. That being since she's dead she would just be yknow. Dead if she left the game. Jax and Ragatha leave but only because Pomni forces them. Again don't know how, I probably would have made it up while I went along with the story. So, Pomni is just there alone, with Caine. And she lives like that for eternity. She doesn't go insane anymore and it isn't as lonely as it used to feel like. It would feel like home kind of. But she would be there, longing for her partners forever unless she decides one day to just. Yknow, die..

Also since Jax and Ragatha would forget everything after they leave the game, they just don't remember they were in a relationship and would live their lives like before. Sad and lonely.

Goodness, I forget I make the most sad stories ever sometimes 😭

Anyways silly brother hc that would fit into lore if zeref didn’t have a curse and joined fairy tail and wasn’t actually insane

-Zeref definitely constantly makes sure his out fit is correct and tidy like he doesn’t mean to do it but he just feels more in control of himself that way. And when he sees Natsu’s clothes always messed up and messy he constantly fusses about it after he fights and brushes Natsu off without realizing

-Natsu is zerefs biggest weakness if that weakness was he just doesn’t wanna hurt Natsu emotionally or physically at all like Natsu is his baby. Zeref could never actually hurt Natsu badly sure Zeref is fully aware Natsu can handle anything but if he’s fighting and someone put Natsu infront of that attack he would immediately stop it, Natsu is very important to him and Natsu knows that to. which why he used it to get stuff from Zeref

-I know zeref made lullaby as a whole killing thing but it would be really funny if zeref also created things or other instruments that reminded him of people he liked especially Natsu so there’s a flute out there that’s just for Natsu but will never be found cause it won’t be played unless Natsu finds it. There’s tons of zerefs instruments and creations out there that aren’t for anyone but Natsu

-Natsu likes to draw not well and he draws like a five year old however whenever it does it just makes him incredible happy and carefree (this is totally not based off of that scene in 100 year quest when Natsu wrote in the library books) and he doesn’t tell anyone about it but he likes to draw people sometimes it’s good sometimes it’s not but it just makes Natsu happy and whenever zeref sees Natsu draws he always sits next to him and watches happily

-Natsu’s very short and I mean like 5,3 and it’s cause Natsu has always been small he’s just small and zeref cant get over how funny it is because Natsu convinced half the people he knows he’s taller than he is by just not standing directly next to them it just makes zeref giggle sometimes Natsu literally needs to climb on him for missions but Natsu being small helps them do a lot of things like sneak into vents or something

-zeref is a big hugger and wraps his arms around Natsu head and in a death grip he rubs his face in Natsu hair. Sometimes zeref will lift Natsu up to see things and he always hugs Natsu before lifting him up on his hands

-Natsu and zeref both speak a different language and it’s not a normal language it’s a mix of old language from there town and draconic which makes a weird language no one knows because the whole town was wiped out. I also believe this town had there own customs and beliefs and coexist with dragons just didn’t care for them which is why they knew draconic but so jumbled with some other language Natsu and zerefs culture and language is just incomprehensible to anyone. This town celebrated life and death which is why zeref is named after death and Natsu is the summer it’s like after a volcano erupts new life begins.

-igneel was fond of zeref and wanted zeref to stay with him when he dropped Natsu at his door and zeref still does not know why

-Natsu and zeref hold hands all the time to not lose each other

-zeref has dragon parts like Natsu but more demonic from his curse but he’s rarely seen with his demon/dragon tail

-Natsu and zeref act so similar sometimes there both bubbly in the same way boyishly happy to be around each other

-would elfman Mirajane and lissanna be the opposite of ignia zeref and Natsu I think they have a “who are the better siblings battle

-Natsu and zeref hate ignias “nieces” (the gold dragons ancestors) because they thing there such great siblings when there just the worst versions of them

-Natsu and zeref can never take things seriously there always giggling and confused by the target

-zeref has a cat called misery which is the opposite of happy and is a Scottish fold cat and also purple (ignia also has a cat who’s a lynx or leopard who can’t stand ignias ass)

TW - just a vent about fandom stuff.

I feel kinda sad about how some creators in the CoD fandom have now abandoned creating content for the game series due to the demanding nature of other fans who used to consume their content. (fics, art, etc)

Like, these artists/writers in the fandom write fanfics/create art, FOR FREE OF COST and dedicate SO MUCH TIME AND ENERGY to their craft despite not getting much in return, only to deal with senseless hate, ignorance, stupidity and get treated as content generation machines; instead of actual human beings with jobs and studies and friends and families that need their time and attention as well.

A lot of us folks who write or draw do this as a hobby. As an outlet for our creativity, and we find this community for the media we are currently fixated on and we create things inspired by it cuz it brings us joy. IT MAKES US HAPPY SO WE CREATE CONTENT FOR IT!!! And then to see the same fandom/community and their horrendous behaviour driving away the creators from the fandom and the media itself is just....sad. Very disheartening.

Like I miss so many of the creators who have just given up on CoD cuz of this issue. Their works have inspired me to start writing again. They make me wish I start learning how to draw and paint again too. Their works have touch my soul, and made me happy - gave me something to look forward to every day.

But I'd much rather they leave the fandom and take care of themselves and their life, than to succumb to this weird pressure fans and fan-content consumers put on them, y'know?

Plus recently, I've seen a lot of racist and stereotypical prejudices from some CoD fans (and even some creators). I know a lot of them are new to the fandom, I was too. But I took an active effort to learn more about this game series. (and it's an ongoing effort cuz I cannot afford to play the games so I have to settle for wiki articles, gameplays, and comics) And I see so many fans not give a shit about it. They treat these characters as blank canvases to fulfill their hypersexual fantasies. (I like me a good smut fic or two, don't get me wrong) But that just makes it impossible for newer fans to get to know more about the lore and the characters. I had just finished watching the campaign for MW, and let me tell you, there are so many complex missions, characters and storylines to explore and depict through fanfics, and it's insane so many people disregard it for their whimsies so easily. That will just stunt your growth as an artist/writer! Read up on the lore, watch the game plays(the OGs and the remakes!) , maybe even read the comics!!! I promise you won't regret it ever!!!

Also, please! For all that is holy, stop putting these complex fictional characters into restricted boxes and label them. That just makes them so one-dimensional. Like -

Soap is not always cheery and bubbly and your fellow bestie. Simon is not an abuser/emotionally dead asshole just because he has a hard time expressing his emotions like everyone else. König, despite the lack of storyline/lore we have on him, isn't an uwu social anxiety babygirl, damn it. Stop excluding Gaz from your HCs and fics! He's a complex man with so many interesting things to explore about his overall story and psyche as a part of 141. He's not always begging for Price's approval either, he can and has objected to how questionable their methods have been regarding their field/work. Stop excluding Gaz from 141 stuff! It makes you look like a POS, and a lot of the people who exclude him are doing so for....pretty racist reasons. As a POC, this shit sucks balls. Also stop stereotyping POC characters in CoD - Alejandro, Rudy, Valeria, Gaz, Farah....just stop. Their ethnicity or race should not deter you from writing about them in a way that doesn't come across as prejudiced and ill-informed.

Also, not necessarily a rant, but please consider/remember the fact that the military has always been a bit of a morally dubious field of work irl, and just cuz CoD is military-centric and features characters who work in the army or PMC and take out bad guys - that doesn't take away from the violent history military has and how they have contributed to the deterioration of many countries (mainly in the Middle East). Heck, even these characters in the CoD games have done extremely unethical things and employed treacherous methods in order to get the job done. These characters may be good people in fiction, but that doesn't mean that they have done great things or have always stayed morally pure. Explore the dubious nature of it all - explore how dark and harrowing it can be for them and for the people that unwittingly or knowingly get involved in their work. It's dark and twisted but it's crucial since it's inspired from our world and it's necessary for us as humans and as artists to explore such themes and analyse them! It's crucial for the soul!!!

really proud of my boy Vince as a whole 😩 my son, my muse, my safe space; first human oc ever made, first oc that i ever truly loved and adored. 🤲 boy really helped me with some shit, made me realize some more; generally speaking he was - and still is - a very healing experience

each new piece of him forces me to be more creative, more detailed, more dynamic, more experimental - like in this pic; i've always been rather detailed but i never thought i would end up being able to draw complex cybernetics and military gear just so i can dress up my stupid old pixel man

many good things followed after his creation in 2020, it was for him that i really started trying my strengths at drawing people, he's the reason i stayed here and continued to draw and post stuff

he went through so many design changes, so many ref sheets, changed his whole finished story and wrote a new one and he only keeps on growing

the amount of lore i have for him is insane and it only keeps evolving, changing; created three whole fictitious companies set in the CBP77 universe to include in his story, over fifteen side characters, researched and meticulously picked by hand his exact time of birth down to a minute so that all his zodiac signs would fit his personality and overall person perfectly; so yea in short i put a lot of work, time and brain effort into him

for now i'm satisfied with what he has become and i couldn't been more proud of him 😌

oh god sorry this took so long to answer i saw it in my inbox and wanted to draw smth for it but completely forgot about it

anyway i’ve decided not to draw anything and finally answer this laying here in bed at 10 o’clock at night

putting it all under the cut cuz this is gonna go on for a while

general tw!! some sensitive topics cuz this is oc lore and it must be as traumatic as possible

- sona/addy

she’s got interconnected lore w/ 2 other ocs, (which i have yet to make proper drawings of) rachel and dakota

she grew up in this hidden village of sorts, where people range from human mages with insane arcane powers to mythical beings who bake bread

anyway even though it’s forbidden she sneaks out but oh no oh dear she gets found by humans and gets taken to be studied or whatever

now we branch off into dakotas lore

- dakota

so they’ve lived in the lab place thing for their entire life cuz they were actually created there. the creation was flawed, so they have a bunch of black splotches on their body (usually only the one on their face is visible)

they are actually completely sex-less, the technology was not advanced enough to really give them a sex

they lived on their own most of the time, that was until addy came along. the two became fast friends.

they never were actually taught to speak or read or anything while there, so addy had to teach them a lot. even then, they were still mostly nonverbal

shenanigans occour, ur typical testing, observations, experiments, jerk scientists, all that jazz

eventually addy devised a plan to escape, but it kinda goes to shit, with a dakota getting severely injured. addy, fueled by her emotions, lets out a very powerful magic blast, and manages to escape before collapsing in an alley from overuse of magic abilities

this is where rachel comes in :)

she literally grew up in a cult

as a mark of the cult, all members had a lock of their hair permanently dyed magenta

the cult was also very homophobic, and when her twin brother came out as trans, it sent the cult into madness

eventually it became too much for her brother, and he took his own life. this lead to her mom blaming her and uh it got pretty ugly

she eventually ran away and lived on the streets for a while

that was until she found two weird beings near the outside of her makeshift shelter :)

pancake tortoise, was originally a turtle at a pet store that ate an oozequito by accident

so they are just kinda chillin in alleys contemplating their new awareness when the turts stumble across her

long story short they eventually lead her to the hidden city and there they find a job at a florist and are from then on a casual ally of the turtles :)

so she lives in the nexus hotel, she’s the daughter of that one fox yokai employee

that’s basically all i have for her lol

and finally, dnd ocs

he is from a very silly campaign, so ima just copy paste the notes i have of his backstory here lol

uhhh so like selineus's parents got killed by a something or other when he was like 2 but it did give him a sick ass scar over his nose

so he was found by a group of traveling druids and they raised him and taught him to be a druid i guess (i dont know shit about druids)

ok so he was raised on the move so hes seeing the sights, keeping journals, all that jazz

so he eventually finds out these traveling druids are like a cult and they plan to sacrifice him to the sparkle god when he comes of age (18)

so he hatches a plan to not only escape but to gain the ultimate power of sparkles

he succeeds (he rolled a nat 20 fr)

so yeah now he has the ultimate power of sparkles and he roams the land, spreading his sparkles

then he ends up in new york after the animepocalypse and fights raccoons for a sandwich before finding a bunch of gay people and becoming the most based member of the party

just realized this will make little to no sense without some context from the campaign but y’all ain’t gettin any of that hehe

anyway next one that’s more serious

was part of a little elven society in the woods, living her best life with great parents and her girlfriend :)

until the fire nation attacked until her date was very rudely interrupted by forest creechurs who lay waste to the town, and she loses everything. she also earned a big ass scar on her face

now she is a cold, calculated mercenary/bounty hunter, with the only thing she has left from that village, her girlfriends faded red bandana, tied around her forearm.

So, I came to the furry/larger CS community from a smaller art community where closed species existed, but in a very different format. Every CS I had seen and been in before had constant, easy access to MYOs. You could send the owner money for a slot at any time, there were raffles, and some even had art prompts where you could get MYOs for free just by doing a few prompts. Even the bigger CS were super accessible. The communities were generally nice, and it was really fun to find friends or partners for your OC because of how many people had other OCs from the CS.

When I came over to the furry community, and by extension, the CS community, I expected the same thing. I joined a few small CS and they generally had free MYO events and then died out. But now I've gotten into Terraliens (which I love, although I don't like the artificial scarcity), and man, seeing everyone want shit like CCCats, Chimerons, Dainties, Chowlings, etc., I was so confused as to why people were so desperate for MYOs. Then I found out that it's insanely hard to actually GET an MYO for most pop CS, and to make matters worse, I looked some of them up and they're just...generic furries or humans with a bland trait slapped on.

I'm really disappointed to see so many CS create such artificial scarcity. The point of a CS, to me, is for the members to have fun participating in events, drawing their ocs and others' ocs, enjoy the lore, and not feel stressed about getting an insanely hard to acquire MYO. I love Terraliens, and I know they're kind of new so I'm sure the scarcity of MYOs will decrease as time goes on, but it still just feels too hard to get an MYO for me. Or maybe I'm just too used to CS where you can get one at any time, idk.

I was just disappointed by all these super popular CS. I honestly expected something much better.

wyngrow: lmao . owner is a narcissist who thinks everything bad happening isn’t her fault. clear favoritism. p2p mechanics. tracing without permission, still using ex-mod’s artwork, the list goes on there’s a comprehensive blog for it

milqilins: lmao lmaox2 big tiddy cow species you’d think would be simple but somehow riddled with problems. constant accounts of racism, favoritism, loli/sho pedophilia, and people cheating to get another myo ticket. they all look the same but turning one into a subspecies cost 500$ 

griffia: enough drama to end up on reddit boring. keep changing and redesigning mechanics that didn’t need to be fixed while offering less and less rewards. idk what’s happening but i know novinaut things haven’t gotten any lore in 4 years

grems: the same as above but i still hope densy gets hit by a truck. too expensive, somehow thinks their magic blood is special. no lore or arpg despite promising it. just shit out on-base adopts for 300 dollars each. has the most prolific hoarders like digimitsu and soyu-k. i remember a whole fiasco with users asking for changes a few months and idk how that’s going 

scarfox: original owner kakiwa let an offbrander turn their illegal scarfox into a legal one for free. lots of people butthurt since before it’s been really hard to get one. kakiwa gives species to darci. darci proceeds to beat her cash cow to death and pretend she created the species. shits out the ugliest adopts with her asskissers enarista and benaberry and tanks scarfox value. often sucks money from community to pay for expensive adopts. somehow thinks she’s a business owner. makes controversial changes without running them by users or even staff and gets defensive when there’s backlash. the current face of how not to run a species.

kebanzu: idk about them but they’re dogs and you need to pay to give them scars or missing limbs

worcimex: idk again but i think the owner left everyone high and dry for a while with no explanation

browbirds: expensive af with people thinking it’s worth and arm and a leg for an ugly furry. probably most unfair arpg grind i’ve seen so far with high exclusivity. owner basically uses it as a circlejerk with friends only

tomoyokis: boring. literally humans with container parts. the poorman’s dainties

dainties: humanoids with deer legs and socks. somehow the most successful business model. most of the mods can’t design though and they only thing to do is trade fodder for better things because people will give their firstborn for a CB slot

grabuki: they’re ugly as fuck and nothing happens from what i’ve read

impims: they’re also ugly and kunmao’s a lazy piece of shit so expect anything to take weeks. no trait restrictions at least but then it comes down to whoever can get the pop designs

chimereons: the one i hate the most. full of kids and greedy assholes. rampant “full resale+swaps/multiples” for a cham with no traits. incredibly hard to break into and only defining ‘feature’ is their nose horns and curled tails. which means shit like this is considered perfectly valid. also insanely expensive with an owner whose too busy drawing furry porn. mods also don’t do their jobs at all 

annies: slavery lore. owner yamio doesn’t do anything. insane costs and fanbase for what boils down to anime girls. i have no idea what an annie even if and I want them to burn

esks: mods can be hostile i’ve heard. forced positivity. easy to make but people cream themselves trying to get an owner-made one. they’re uh undead nature dogs i guess if that’s your cup of tea

baobears: these cost hundreds of dollars

midveilers: i stopped playing but people only care about collecting owner-made designs. there’s also bunch of other artists who aren’t as good but still try to sell for the same price so a bunch of designs don’t get sold because no one’s stupid enough to pay 250 dollars for something a highschooler drew. also apparent huge problem with candygore and community full of minors

cccats/skire: no arpg and cost too much for eye-straining on-base adopts. traits of having an extra set of antennae can be 200 dollars alone. bought a small species that immediately turned them from 30$ adopts to 300$ adopts overnight. thinks spending 2 hrs making 10 on-base flat colored adopts is considered a job and too much work

T does not have a hole in his chest! i just drew that for last minute symbolism (kinda regret drawing that hole tbhhhh)

and yes T has so much lore!!! heres a quick summary:

he was first created in the early 1980s as a tulpa alternate from the stanley program by a lil girl. he was a basic go to alternate, gonna terrorize the family and make em kill themselves etcetc. but he slowly developed basic human emotions and connected with the child since, especially when this lil girl deemed him as her best friend. he watches over her for sometime before shit hit the fan, an alternate replaces her babysitter and kills her father, her mother sends her away out of mandela county, and he drives the mom to suicide for sending away his best friend. later on T is alone nd wanders fron home to home, watchin nd learnin human culture nd emotions nd history before he feels displaced as an alternate, seeing no need or having no purpose to harm anyone. this goes on nd soon enough he dislikes other alternates nd how they hurt people. other alternates began to dislike him too. he stays in the shadows for some years, watching and learning and developing this sense of humanity. he begins to wonder just how far he can push himself as an alternate when it comes to strength/speed/etc. he plays with forms, tests his strength, tries to increase his durability, nd so on. he didn't have anything else to use as a coping mechanism for all this moral doubt and sense of loss from not following his path as an alternate. he didn't even see himself as an alternate anymore. he was shunned from his 'religion' and decided to just become his own individual. soon he grows a searing hatred towards other alternates, watching as they tear apart the town he once studied. one night an alternate was terrorizing a home and T had enough. he went inside and battled it. he didnt know if alternates could be killed or what would be the consequences of his actions, but in the moment he didnt care. after a battle that disfigured the home, he threw the alternate thru a wall to the backyard and tore up its body. it was dead. seeing its mangled body would drive any human insane he believed, so he needed to dispose of the body. the only way he knew how was to just eat it.

from then on T began killing more of his 'brothers nd sisters' nd eating their bodies all while rebelling against gabriel. he grew angry, wondering how his 'lord' could be so vile and disgusting. he saves countless people from alternates or other dangerous situations, learning his limits and strengths as an alternate, becoming more keen than the others. he forgets his early history due to him growing a consciousness, and now he has a very grey moral code. he kills both humans/alternates as he deems necessary/when he wants, but will not harm children. gabriel gets word of this and tensions grew between the pair as T works to stop this mess while dealing with his own place in reality. he plans to overthrow/kill gabriel, especially after certain events took place. bc of those events (which need their own writing lol its a lot), T becomes traumatized from gabriel nd his religion, nd vows to tear everything down that stands in his path. now in the late 2000s, we see the lil girl who he once knew come back. she looks for him but meets an alternate in an abandoned mall. it almost drove her insane until T smashed in and killed it. she recognizes him from his voice as he has changed a lot, but doesn't know how to tell T or connect with him or what the hell happened, but still follows him around and tries her best to establish a connection with the same alternate that protected her when she was a toddler. T doesnt know how to fix any of this, where he is going, or what his plan is, but he will die trying to stop this mess of christianity.

grossly summarized bc his character is way deeper than that nd im developing the girl rn. overall T is very awkward nd borderline paranoid, tries his best tho. hes nice in his own way and if he isnt eyeing u up and questioning u then ur on his good side. hes collected and reserved, still trying to find his place nd the many what ifs in the mandela county. he is stubborn and very protective and if you make him mad then you are about to go insane or about to die. physically hes very resilient, quiet, and strong. hes fast and sneaky, and can hold the weight a car for a short period of time. he can climb walls and can boost himself off the ground. he can take on other forms but he doesnt choose to, he is comfortable with what he looks like currently. he will adjust it depending on the situation tho like extending his jaw, legs, etc. he can be VERY scary but he holds back, limiting himself so others arent driven to M.A.D. just by looking at him. he tends not to speak in front of humans bc his voice alone is quite terrifying, but actively speaks to those who aren't scared. hes very physical when it comes to fighting and efficient as well, but prioritizes the safety of others around him before throwing himself into a rage and fighting. he has a lot of inner turmoil he struggles with once he is alone with his thoughts, damning himself, the religion he came from, nd anything else that has caused him harm. hes caring nd soft when not fighting tho, still always on guard. he doesn't like physical contact but doesnt mind it if he is fighting or protecting smth.

hes also good with kids which he doesnt understand lol, they're drawn to him nd not scared of him that much for whatever reason.

I watched the clexamovie recently b/c I was too tired to use my brain and read fic but I needed my daily dose of clexa before bed…and it kinda sucked. You are 110% correct when you say the rich history, lore, and everything that we LOVE about Clexa was created from breadcrumbs by fans(by you! And other fabulous creators) The show; writing and character development, the acting, was sorely lacking. The imagination and commitment of this fandom and its creators is amazing.

But I do think with the material that was given, a lot of them turned literal trash into something that has resonated with people for years. I thought Lindsey did great, Marie was good even tho I,,, cannot fucking stand Octavia (don't @ me I'm just speaking my truth), Richard is a goon and I love him, muh baby Ricky!!! Jessica Harmon is also great, props to playing Lexa's sexual stand in for like 5 seasons 🥴 girl legit had to have sex with Clarke while Clarke had to stare at a drawing of Lexa on her wall just to come. Oof, tuff break ol' girl.

Plus, I mean the depth and emotion that Alycia and Eliza brought to their scenes? When playing off of each other? Their chemistry was just insane. Especially when you consider that the character of Lexa could very easily have been a flat and cold one. But ADC brought so much flavor and nuance to it.

I've always said Alycia's main strength is her micro expressions. That bitch can convey an emotion with the twitch of an eyebrow and have it look natural, whereas with others it can feel almost caricature-ish. She emotes so well and just has this presence on screen, especially in that role. And Eliza, well... I think in general she's a bit of an over-actor as is, but when playing off Alycia she always seemed to pull that shit back enough that it felt really genuine. And again, their chemistry was just 🤯

Idk I agree with you about pretty much everything else tho. It was like the quintessential CW fuckery. Bad overall plots, shitty jumping from season to season, ridiculous inconsistencies that magically allow fuck all to happen just because 🤷‍♀️ and just poor planning and execution. a brief synopsis in order: ameera - insane cowgirl time player ukruke - detective who lost her partner and now works alone, commutes to the city from the harsh desert and has a gigantic centipede lusus gloria - revolutionary who has to take on a disguise as their stage persona (of a higher caste) in order to start a new revolution, having failed one under their first ruse. they also dont want to start a revolution for any good reason anymore, but are just power-hungry and quietly deranged leiraz - nice homeless + lususless lady who likes books and is a bit of a nomad! shes also an actual real life witch limeblood 1105 - robot built for the purpose of being a moirail to unstable highbloods who have potential, a big sweetheart but very gullible and easy to mess with apollo - ukrukes old partner who failed actual law school and had to become a detective. got shaken up after having to kill someone for the first time and subsequently got wrapped up in a scheme to claim to be the true heir to alternias throne (with the help of gloria), there being no current claimant at the time. mostly aloof and a chill person otherwise though. also has big tits mailiz - gamer girl streamer who is very cool and also skateboards. she also turns into a like 9000000000 year old glitched voidy milf by the end of her timeline which i think is pretty cool. she doesnt really have many social boundaries and is extremely self assured persus - stoner who is also a leader of an emo band, and also a known heartthrob. zerrix - prettyboy streamer whos 100% non violent (and believes it to be a biological disorder on his part which he feels bad about) and likes to make drawings and clothes for his friends. also a furry. aster - hot mess lady who makes/repairs robots for fun. her room is very messy all the time and she drinks a lot but is good company and wont take your shit ardile - lady blinded as part of an exchange with horrorterrors to get her lifetime best friend deedee back as a ghost. she used to be in aster and persus' band but after the incident and aster & persus breaking up they dont really hang out anymore. these days she never surfaces and barely talks to anyone but can be fucking scary if you get on her bad side. she's the reason for gloria's facial disfigurement. shes also really into sportsmanship and proper fighting which shes trained for since she was young deedee - ghost girl heiress who died of a hereditary disease thats been killing all potential heiresses young. she claims to be crazy but really shes just a silly lady. she also culls fuschiablood grubs for profit in order to fund a certain game.

i also have devs which i dont feel like getting pictures for: jon - (unbeknownst to the rest of the team) first guardian maker of sburb (first guardians have different lore in my universe) who essentially created the game in order to truly live forever - by being able to harvest the suffering/lifespan of people who play the game, as well as the creation of infinite universes (thus infinite green suns to store such energy), he can defeat entropy (which basically states the universe, and so he, must die some day). hes also a gay man and falls in love with a co developer in the midst of his elaborate plan. he was there when the universe was born and interfered in a lot of stuff he shouldnt have out of sheer curiousity - he was raised by a kindly cherub cowgirl lady, and so he isnt totally emotionless. but because the universe is slowly dying, hes also not totally omnipotent/omniscient like canonical first guardians.

moore - vampire from a legendary dynasty who ended up homeless after a series of events, the catalyst being basically chucked out with the king he was a dresser for after it was found out they were gay. jon picks him up while hes studying computer stuff at a university and they move in together, starting a company and falling in love. they also have a family together (jean and finn). hes a very cranky man

EH/calpurnia - literally just a gamer/stoner type cherub who does most of the programming work along with jon and moore.

marie - deer centaur celestial type lady whos main job is to make planets habitable for species to grow on them. after she finished work on her planet/was on break she made a really big garden, which becomes a house for players to go to for handling if a big error happens in their session. she made a lot of the design choices and drew up clothing designs for god tiers, etc. shes a very nice lady who loves to bake etc. but she has a tendency to latch onto really evil people, since she always sees the best in them

I finished typing and now I feel I have to preface it with a: this is all a monologue about Jedi and Force and Lucas’ inability to show the good story he wants to tell - just a warning. This is in no way meant to contradict the other post with that quote floating around or argue against it - just my own rambling coming to a conclusion I keep struggling with when it comes to SW universe and the ways it makes no sense to me and how I feel deep in my bones that Lucas is a crap storyteller.

I don’t know why, but for all the interesting concepts Lucas talks about, Anakin’s fall never sat well with me. In time I came to the conclusion I would respond better if the Jedi culture surrounding it wasn’t so contradictory to itself.

And if he wasn’t so heavily leaning on the concept of the ‘pure love’ that is unconditional and undemanding and ‘unselfish’. Tldr: that love does not exist outside of poetry and romance dramas and imagination. Like every other emotion humans feel, love is conditional.

Take the first trilogy - I got that. The Jedi were largely missing and there was not much lore-wise, but the vibe it gave was measured and peaceful and mindful, and all the things that stood against the Empire - that represented the Dark Side in a very concise way. It wasn’t too nuanced, so we could buy it in this very simple ‘princes kidnapped b ya dragon’ story. This is as good as Lucas gets.

But then the prequels happened and Jedi became this weird, extremely specific, but conflicting idea. They are not supposed to take sides in politics - except when they do. They are not supposed to kill - except when they do, with freaking relish. They are not supposed to love or hate or allow emotions dictate their ways - oh, except when they do. And they can have sex - just not sex with someone they want to settle down with (oh boy, is that a signifier of a story written by a guy or what?). All seems to be ‘except when they do, as long as it can be adequately justified to make them look good’.

And I do have an issue with the idea of ‘Anakin was too old to join, he was already attached to his mother’ which is, when you think about it, is insane. Learning to control your emotions and letting go of your wants, Buddhist way, fine.

Aiming to train children to not be attached to their parents? What? How young a child has to be for that attachment forms? How is a meditation and repeating mantras going to help a 5-year old who is missing their mom at the temple? How do you even expect to train a child out of missing their mom??? How is it NOT better to get an older child that can reason above the instinctual and hardwired need for their mother? 

But let’s say Anakin’s attachment to his mother was ‘selfish’ from the beginning - but, that’s the thing, was it? Was it really? They were slaves and she was his only family, okay, obviously that made his attachment stronger and more layered than, say, a normal middle-class Coruscanti kid who could love their mom without constant fear that any day they can be separated forever by someone who didn’t give a shit. In that sense, yes, Anakin was desperately attached to his mom and afraid of loosing her - there was fear in him. Right, I’m there with you, Yoda.

But the movies show us that the way Jedi seem to approach these hard subjects is by not approaching them at all - oh, well, we can’t take him in. He had a difficult childhood and there are issues attached, get him out of here.

In a galaxy full of races and issues and the Force being tied to any and all creatures in any and all circumstances - this was the hard line Jedi were drawing. In essence, either only accepting kids young enough to not remember their parents (and I see absolutely no issues whatsoever that could happen here, nope) or with childhoods perfect enough not to have any issues whatsoever. Anyone else? Adults that discovered Force when they were older? Kids like Anakin with hard childhoods? Creatures that were either culturally or chemically wired differently enough that the tight reins Jedi held over their emotions weren’t possible for them? Nope. Go away. You are a bad person in the making.

If you spend a moment contemplating, you will realise this is such a white privileged guy way to think about it. And if you stick your head into the microwave for a couple seconds, you can almost understand how Lucas thought this is something profound and mystical.

No that I think about it... I always thought Sith were freaking clowns - their philosophy makes no sense, their ‘rule of two’ is hilarious, everything about them is just so badly designed and thought out, and who would ever decide to join of that creepy cult of their own volition? It made no sense!

But, as an answer to the egalitarian and contradictory ways of the Jedi - Sith make all the sense to exist. And let’s forget about the Light and Dark (that I don’t believe exist above the ways of personal emotional expression that in time trains the Force around a person in certain ways - like a person can train their brain in and out of anxiety ofr example), but focusing strictly on philosophy - yeah, being a Sith makes sense when any other way is barred form someone by no fault of their own. And barred with an excuse they are a bad seed anyway. 

“You fear/hate/desire hence you can’t access the Force with us” = “Well fuck you, then, I will access the Force in my own way, using these exact emotions!”

Like, Sith are clowns, but Jedi suck in their own very special way and their fall was just waiting to happen.

I get a strange feeling that Lucas created Jedi as a class of a warrior monk in DnD and then scrambled to create their enemies out of the simplest contradictions. Light-dark. Love-Hate. Peace-Fear. Etc. But because Jedi were so simple - once they started to gain popularity and he had to expand their lore and layer on the philosophy, he hit a wall. Or rather, the bottom of the kiddy pool. Because a ‘warrior monk’ is not an a ‘good’ class, but he wanted them to be mostly warriors, but also a force of good in the galaxy, because Star Wars is the same simple story repeated again and again with a new set of characters (regardless of how much fake politics is thrown in to obscure that fact) so this whole universe is basically built on giving Jedi reasons to fight and kill, and adequately justifying them. And then the Dark Side had to catch up by being more ridiculously evil at every turn - accidentally unmasking the way Jedi philosophy falls apart under closer scrutiny.

So like, to make a full circle, the one thing the prequels did well was to show Anakin’s fall (and I am not gonna argue, it was effective and he is a villain of this story) but they also presented - I think against the creator’s intention - why it was pretty much inevitable. Not because Palpatine was there to whisper poison, or because Force itself strived for ‘balance’ (even though the latter is a hilarious idea I love to contemplate) - but because Jedi, as presented in the movies-media around them, as a philosophy and way of life is inherently contradictory and unsustainable from the point of being a, well, a breathing, thinking being.  The ‘selfish love’ argument would work so much better if it wasn’t presented with an example of a kid who was born a slave and the people who saw it as a strike against his character, and did very little to address the specific issues that could arise from that before it was too late. 

Would it fucking kill them to let go of their strict training routine and ensure that his specific emotional needs were met? That Shimi was, I don’t know, NOT A SLAVE. They seem to interfere into politics just fine when need arises - but not when it’s a sandy planet in the ass-end of the universe no one cares about. Then no, we can’t liberate one slave. That would be acting in self-interest - not in the interest of not allowing one of the strongest members of out order to fall into the ruin we have forseen form the beginning. 

It would work better is if Anakin’s ‘selfishness’ was presented as his inability to let Padme leave him for someone else/just leave him - not to be unwilling to let her die.  

Think about it for a moment - he wasn’t presented with the idea of Padme leaving him. With the idea of his mother not loving him anymore. He was firmly and, form his point of view, believably, presented with the idea of both of them DYING. Which actually happened to his mom, solidifying the fear in his mind.

Yes, he was not meant to go on a rampage and kill the ones who killed Shimi - but wasn’t he? The Jedi are not against killing. Only killing in self-interest I guess - when self-interest is not one’s life and their political affiliation or their ‘job’ at hand, that is. Revenge is a no-no, but a military retaliation is a yes-go. Can’t kill anyone who wronged me - but I can kill those who wronged a person who gives me orders. How does that work within a Jedi doctrine? 

How, in good conscience, can you present this scenario, George, and then try to spin it into this big philosophical bullcrap about unselfish love????  Jedi murdered people over political squabbles - but I guess that’s okay because they weren’t invested??? And that’s better?!?!? George! What the fuck! You are such a bloke my head hurts!

In case of Anakin, Jedi were essentially Elsa’s parents. I pretty much despise Elsa and the film she crawled out of, and I personally don’t like Anakin as a character either, so this is not stanning in any way, but their issues scream ‘I was raised by well-meaning idiots’ and shows the level of botched storytelling I just can’t reconcile.

Which, you know what? 

Luke, who spent years studying Jedi ways and taking them into himself? 

I can believe than this Luke would try to kill his nephew at the barest whiff of the Dark Premonition instead of helping him manage his motions in a somewhat healthy way - that seems to be exactly what a real Jedi would do, after all.

Okay so today's lore had me even more in love with the anamatics that live in my head rent free. Unfortunately, my artistic ability is pretty shit. So... I had a strange thought and I need to know if anyone else thinks it's a cool idea or if it would even work.

Like, okay... so what if a bunch of us had like a discord channel or something and created an anamatic together? Like we can give each other song suggestions (which also be cool just for like, finding new songs and stuff). And like some people can direct, draw, or edit different scenes. And at the end we would have like a collaborative video...

I mean, does anyone else think this sounds cool? Or am I just dreaming?

Cuz like, I have this Las Nevadas anamatic for "Sleeping on the Blacktop" by Colter Wall already planned out basically. But I cant translate that to an actual video without help (I mean, I'm not sad-ist or late-August, prime bless them both). And it might even be cool to have the whole video done by different artists for each scene so that way we could get the video out quicker because each person is only animating like a 20 second segment of the song, you know? All of the fan art in this fandom is insane and I just think it would be super cool to make something together.

this is a collection of theories as to who I think Tozen's ( @italian-pastry ‘s creation) parents are; no I don't have to make sense thanks (its a lot)

Kiribaku Family: Tozen is a runaway from the Kiribaku family, [runaway because he's on his own page] due to the red hair and the inherited instinct to dye his hair red I guess; he also looks like he has that kind of bakugou "I'm better than you" face. Also, @Pizzilosnacks said in a retweet that Tozen, Mieko (kiribaku fam), Toshi (tododeku fam), and Arisu (tetsukendou fam) are all part of the same friend group, which could help the theory that Tozen and Meiko are related cuz they're introduced to the same people (being the same age). P-dizzle is also very partial to Kiribaku in general, what's stopping the influx of kids? I want to include this despite @Pizzilosnacks saying this ain't it; Mieko and Tozen look super similar and are the same age twins???? clones??? I would say he's manufactured to fight Mieko which is already insane but if they're part of the same friend group he's probably friendly to them, at least in the beginning. And I think integrating yourself into a friend group while being a killbot comes after the redemption arc not before, and we don't even know Tozen's anything- so the friend group lore has got to be something from the past or present, probably past tho as he has a serious case of villain vibes. Anyway,

Shigaraki x Dabi HEAR ME OUT! Shiggy's got red eyes, yes? and this is basically all I'm basing these theories off of. Ipso-facto; this is valid. Furthermore, both Dabi and Shigaraki dye their hair, genetic trauma is a thing! Also, the piercings on Tozen's lips and nose could be a clue or tribute to Dabi (btw holy shit Dabi backward is "I Bad") "Tozen" could be taken from the word Tōzen in Japanese which means of course and deservedly; this word is used as a title for the Tozen Japanese labor union founded in 2010, 7 years from his birth year, and he has a seven on his shirt. Period. (the seven is probably just a wrinkle tho, if it weren't then Ezumo would be wearing an S) Assuming the labor union thing is important, this could be a clue to his parents fighting against the current hero system for their perceived justice. [as P-pop is recorded putting thought into the names of characters] Flaws in this theory include the issue of the friend group; how would he be good friends with the gang while also being a part of this villain league? It would be outlandish to imagine a world where the Pro Heros responsible for Mieko, Arisu, and Toshi aren't aware of the parents of Tozen. Maybe Shiggy and Dabi are reformed? or Tozen has escaped them, or they're dead ahahahaha h a. Or! Shiggy and Dabi go into elaborate disguises for each parent gathering.

Tokoyami Red eyes baby. The piercings and choker are reminiscent of Tokoyami's style, and Tozen's debut was in the era when P-sauce was only posting 1-A families (excluding Shinsou lmaooo) The main issue with this I'd say would be the inherent desire to draw bird features on an OC, and the fact that Tozen has NOTHING alluding to bird really puts a wrench in this. But look at Tokoyami's history! He was a bird and Became human, maybe through breeding his quirk advanced and Tozen was fully-fledged. Now I'm realizing though to make this possible Tokoyami probably had to fuck a bird. So,

Aizawa: Yes, literally just because of the eyes. But! Consider this, the "Doesn't Matter". What does "Doesn't Matter" mean? How could the biggest mystery here not matter? Maybe it's referencing his parents, how they don't matter in relation to him, he is his own person. (runaway from kiribaku, descendant of evil shigabi) Maybe, it's referencing his genetic makeup; on how it doesn't matter how a bird could have sex with a bird and create an edgy human; or MAYBE. It's a clue, and a tribute, to the parent alone. What questions do you have when looking at Tozen? The whole premise around these fan kids ARE the parents. We can know nothing about Tozen without his genetic makeup being revealed. So WHAT does the visionary P-pastry do? Clue us into the parent, with huge lettering right in front of our eyes; "Doesn't Matter". That's got Aizawa written aaaaall over it baby he's suuuper depressed. The main issue with this is that I'm spewing bullshit; and the age range is all wrong. It'd definitely go against Aizawa's character to not only have a kid but to be friendly with his students outside of class; he's not even friendly inside of class. Tozen could also be adopted, which if so; hswhdajhdwiasjdhewuajk

Here's my general breakdown; The parents should be around the same ages as the parents of Toshi, Mieko, and Arisu- which would make the parent most likely part of UA. P-Pee pays attention to detail with eyes and names a lot, so 1. RED EYES HAS TO HAVE SOMETHING TO DO WITH IT ITS GOTTA BE DONT TELL ME HE'S WEARING CONTACTS OR CAN SHAPESHIFT and 2. I didn't really google Tozen a whole lot so idk maybe somewhere it means child of the bird. There is a game-changer though and that's introduced here in the tags, OCS!!! that could create the perfect character for every requirement and would be impossible to predict; either way this was pog thank you for your time.
