This train is quite iconic apparently so I wouldn't be surprised if someone already did one based off of this but still :> I had to do this or I'd have shrivelled away.
Views from the Osaka-bound Shinkansen. The only prior rail experience I’ve had was with Amtrak in the Northeast, and I’ve been consistently impressed by this system’s speed and punctuality
This is another update to my Lego HST style Intercity Diesel locomotive MOC and this time I raised the from even higher to finally make it look more like a traditional HST. I should of done thing a long time ago but I was more focused on the bottom of the front end being low to much which is was a mistake. But problem solved finally!

I think a major reason why Inter-City Passenger Rail isn’t taken seriously by a lot of Americans; is that a lot of its most dedicated advocates, seem to have this hatred of cars that borders on psychotic, and I think that hatred distracts both themselves from properly expounding the potential benefits of ICPR, and others from seriously considering those potential benefits.
I myself have no hatred for cars -I’m actually quite fond of them- I just recognize that this countries over reliance on them has been detrimental over all, so maybe I just have a skewed perspective; but when I see someone going on an anti-car tirade and say that trains are better; i get the impression that the pro-train aspect was just an afterthought, like they didn’t actually care about trains that much at all, and just wanted to be angry at cars.
I’m not really sure how to end this, I will say though, if the railways play their cards right; they can coexist with highways, in such a way that both can benefit from it.
And isn’t everyone winning better than someone losing?
I’ll probably made another post at some point explaining how that could work, if I can find the mental energy for it.
i am not the target audience for the lackawanna cutoff restoration project but i am a huge fan of what it has to offer as someone who doesn't drive and really wants to visit the delaware water gap and poconos

CRRC’s High-Speed Maglev System Presented at InnoTrans
CRRC’s High-Speed Maglev System Presented at InnoTrans
CRRC presented its high-speed maglev system, the CRRC 600, at InnoTrans 2022.
With speeds of up to 600km/h, this high-speed maglev would be among the world’s fastest land public transport systems and would be suitable for intercity travel.
The high-speed maglev system is a ‘non-contact’ high-speed rail vehicle. It operates on a rail-holding structure that uses two rows of curved arms to hold the…
This is a Lego MOC replica of the LNER Intercity 225 train on my design and theme! And its kinda ugly how I built it so I tore it apart sometime later after building it. Getting the front of train is kinda the hardest since the beak shape was needed to be built and its kinda worked out!
