Is it too soon to request fan art of my original characters Mahalia and Audrey? Thomas has already been spoiled in the past and I'm really curious to see you reinterpret these 2 heroines in your style. You don't have to copy this drawing, get inspiration from episodes or make something according to your own ideas. Draw the 2 or the one you prefer, you can even add Thomas if you wish. Tag my selfish_generation account in your posts, I'll share each of them and my favorites will feed a special gallery on the series' website.

“Well behaved women rarely make history.”
If you have seen my previous posts, you’ll remember Ataturk. He is the founder of Republic of Turkey. He was a great man of honour, a warrior, leader, humanitarian, revolutionist, defender of human rights, pioneer in women’s and children’s rights. As a soldier who fought through most of his adulthood, he strongly opposed the war and believed it could be necessary only for self protection. He was champion of peace and hoped to achieve a level of higher civilization.
On December 5 1934, while the rest of the world had been in turmoil before WWII, the Turkish women’s suffrage right was given. Women of a republic founded a decade ago, Turkish ladies attended the parliament as representatives of their fellow ladies. Turkey, a country of a multicultural society but also composed of mostly muslim and easterner people, was amongst the leading nations in women’s rights. All thanks to our leader, our founding father, ever-gentleman Mustafa Kemal.
To his daughters and women everywhere, as an ever-grateful young woman, I want to say something.
Be loud, brave, strong and awesome my fellow ladies. In the time of ours rights are not given but taken with resistance and persistence. Do not fear and never stop believing the power in yourselves.

#womensrightday #internationalwomensrightsday #2020 #womenspower #girlofinstagram #fightforyourrights https://www.instagram.com/p/B9eQ72uF-lP/?igshid=1927kzdzodc0q

Hummmm ...Today it’s the international women’s rights day ........... for theirs rights .... something very important ... it’s not the “women’s day !!” nothing superficial, nothing as light as a feather unfortunately.... but it’s a day to remember that women’s rights are moving back , everywhere ! because of religions ! because of patriarcal’s domination , because of inconsistent or bad behaviors ..... it’s not because we want to buy a pantyhose, cheaper !!!! it’s because we want to be as free as a human being... let’s face the truth, shall we ?! #live #love #life #internationalwomensrightsday #humanbeing #ihavetherighttolive #donotconfuse #notthesame #myrights #mybodymychoice https://www.instagram.com/p/B9c07yOlNs8/?igshid=cv7qbah51s60
